I'm going to be very lenient though. It's mostly just...every once and a while you get "talk about such and such game here" and they die out quickly. So...if I see it dieing, I'll put it here (feel free to start topics in here though). If a topic is good and full of life then I won't do anything.

Dragon Quest/Warrior is probablly the best RPG.
I read that the series isn't popular in the US, but in Japan, wow it's big business!

Hard to decide for me. It is a tie between the following: Kingdom Hearts (both KH: CoM and the regular one are great action rpgs), Tales of Symphonia (the puzzles get annoying after a while), Legend of Zelda (each one was excellent), and maybe Pokemon.

That is a good rpg, however, the monsters get very annoying after a while. (like the zombies which I forgot how to kill).

I guess I'll post my top 5 fav RPG Games.

5: Pokemon: Fire Red
To me I like being able to go back to Kanto (so sue me if I spelled it wrong XD) and play like I used to when I played Blue.
4: Final Fantay: VII
All around great story line, one of the best FF games. And one of the main FF games I wanted.
3: Tales of Symphonia
I just beat this game a day or so ago. It has a great story line and I love the battle mode and the freedom in the game (having different clothes, different titles, using more then just one person to fight etc).
2: Kingdom Hearts:
I love Kingdom Hearts. I really love the fighting style and the story and everything about the game. It's not too hard and it's not too easy. Just right for my tastes.
1: Final Fantay: X
If you know me then you know I love this game. Out of all the RPGs I've played, out of most games I've played this is my favorite RPG of all time (it's my second fav game right after Super Smash Brothers Melee). I love twists in games and this game has more twists then any game I've played. The story line is the best I've ever seen. And the game is an all around perfect game to me. If I had to pick one game for the story then I would pick this one every single time. It's the only game I've ever played that I wish I could forget it and play it like I did the first time (the first time you don't know what's going to happen or this or that).

Final Fantasy VII: The REASON I got a Playstation.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness: Still good after 3 years.

Xenosaga: I'm counting them together, since they're all from the same story arc so far. Excellent story and unique battle system. Enemies are ALWAYS a challenge.

Definetly Golden Sun 1 & 2 for the GBA. It's not origional, but it had great graphics, an addictive story, and RPG-style chatter that actually ISN'T boring. Oh, and did I forget to mention you can read minds?

Final Fantasy is my favourite RPG series with both VII and VIII fighting it out for first place. Besides that though, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Breath of Fire II and Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call (Nocturne in the US) are all fantastic stuff.

My answer should be painfully obvious...Tales of Symphonia, hands down. It's more so the characters and the abundant interaction amongst them all that makes it stand out so much. ^_^;

I also really like Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts. And Pokemon, of course, but that's more so loyalty to the brand, I guess one could say, rather than liking the actual game. o.o

it's kinda hard 2 say my fav. rpg cuz almost evry video game i've evr liked was an rpg. I'll make a list of my top 5 (in no specific order):

2.megaman battle network 5 Team Protoman (just beat the final boss, nebula gray, today)
3.Fire emblem: The sacred stones
4.Mario and luigi: Superstar saga (mario and luigi are so frikin funny XD)

You know what I'm talking about. World of Warcraft has got to be one of the most (or THE most) popular MMORPGs today. It currently has about over 2 million subscribed members (or 3 million, not exactly sure).

If you have any characters that you'd like to show off, any epic weapons/armor pieces that you'd like to brag about, or even just discuss WoW in general, then come here.

If it wasn't already obvious enough, I am one of the millions of people who owns this game. I currently have a lvl 47 Tauren Shaman as my main character (and a whole bunch of alternates). I am using my friend's 10 days free trial card from his game until I get my own one, which will be very soon. But currently, I have a Lv.12 Undead Warlock, pretty strong I must say for the time being. I have no special clothing on him except for the robe he is wearing which grants him extra Intillect(Sp?). I must say, this is an addictive game, stay away if you have a busy life and you don't want to ruin it. :P

Golde Sun is a very wonderful game, great story line and plot, great heroes, variety of items and spells, and not bad quality of graphics, pretty high for a GBA game actually. I love this the most as a normal RPG. I also loved Breath of Fire, Pokemon, and such.

As for MMORPG, Wold of Warcraft is the best. ^_^

Well, my favorite RPG is probably Breath of Fire II, so here's how I'd tweak that a bit:

-Give it a graphical makeover so it's up to par with some of today's RPGs.

-Expand upon the old music or write new tracks that aren't in 16 bit sound, aren't 20-30 seconds long, and not extremely repetitive.

-Ensure that Ryu stays super hot! I couldn't wait to see him in 3-d!

Does anyone here play the online game Ragnarok? And if so do you play it on the official server or on a private (free) server?

I think it's a great game allthough the graphics aren't that good, the story and the abilities are quite good enough to make it a fun and addicting game :)
And with my champion I can slaughter allmost every boss monster :D
