A Pokemon Journey!

Normally when you see a title like this you see a four lin plot...Think again!
This isn't a normal pokemon journey! (read on)

Now is the time a young boy will get his chance at his dream of becoming a pokemon master. But this is no ordinary journey this is a journey of life....and death! Someone will die within this journey....It maybe someone close to the main character....Or it may be a bitter enemy...Nobody know who will die...Not even me...I will pull names out a hat to see who it is and I will PM so they know and it isn't real quick and its not a surprise to them....
It will not be like the real show....
PLOT

Walking through the town of Pallet Ash Ketchum thought to himself, I get to go to Prof. Oak's lab tommorow and get my first pokemon....Walking home he turned on T.V. to watch the Pokemon Leauge show....I will be there one day! He thought to himself..I will fight there! He keep thinking as he fell alseep.

"Ash! Ash honey wake up your already late!" Ash's mom calls!"
"WHAT!" He screams jumping out of bed....Putting on sandals and running outside towards Prof. Oaks lab....


1 HOUR LATER
Walking back home with his new Pikachu Ash met a girl who was very nice...She had just recieved a pokemon from Prof. Oak as well....It was decided that Ash, the girl, and thier friends would go on a journey to be the best at what they set out to be....!

It is a pokemon journey....What do you expect, and whats wrong with my grammer...I also critize people because they dont capitlize their letters like I and the one at the beggining of a sentence....And at least there will be a suprise in the RP, and the plot is like this.


This is a RP of a pokemon journey...we travel the globe fight battels and diffrent stuff like that.....

This is how some of the newbs write RP plots and at least this makes sence...and gives you some what meaning to the story...

No, I'm not trying to insult you, but rather open your eyes to what you've been doing. That still gives you know reason to bash them XP Well, ateast make sure its 'opening there eyes' in a nice way. >___> And you shouldn't even worry about other people's rping skills unless they are breaking the rules =/ Worry about yourself now and then. RP SAMPLE: Devyn lived in a family of breeders. Her mother was a fire breeder and her father a flying type. She got an egg from her grandmother tht hatched into her biggining pokmon...Eevee.

She woke up and scrachedher head. Her Eevee waswnt normal, in fact far from it, it was white with black markings. Devyn pulled the black and white ball of fluff from ontop of her lap and cradaled t in her arms."wake up neko" she said softly. She placed the pokemon down as she got up off her bed.She Quickly changed into her usual out fit. She sat on te edge of the bed as she pulled up er black socs and sliped on her shose. A she sliped on her headband she picked up Neko and grabed her backpack and headed out the door.

other:Liane is starting her new journey, away from her wealthy home, much to her family's dismay. Being trained from birth to be ladylike and polite, she is very polite and mannerly to strangers, but after she gets to know a person, she becomes less uptight, and more lax.
RP SAMPLE:
-a few days before Randall's starting post-
Liane sighed as she stepped off of the white patio, part of a grand mansion supported by marble beams.
This pearl white 'house' was where Liane had lived for as long as she could remember, playing in the Man-made waterfall and pond out back, and the blossoming garden out front.
But she was much too old for those things now.
At age of 10 she wasn't supposed to have had any real changes in her life, it was only when she was thirteen, where she would have to pick a fiancee, her father picking the bachelor's for her.
But before her birthday, she found a lost azurill, and became infatuated with pokemon.
She decided that she would instead become a trainer.
Her father and mother laughed at the idea at first, but when they found she was completly serious, they shook their heads firmly and forbid her from any pokemon but the azurill she would never part with.
But having an older brother to take care of the company instead, gained her the excitement of seeing a trainer's card as a birthday present from her parents.
Now setting out for Professor Oak's, she knew exactly what pokemon she wanted.
Liane's azurill would never be destined to battle, just a companion, during her travels.
Her mother had insisted she wear a white top with a white flowing skirt and slip on ballet styled shoes.
Knowing that she wouldn't get out of it, Liane let her maids put it on without a fuss, but instead slipped a navy blue denim skirt and a navy hair tie, so she could get rid of the white skirt and white bunny berettes, when she was well out of sight of the house, which she knew would take a much longer time than she anticipated.
Liane waited in front of the black gates that surrounded the estate, and as the opened slowly, she walked through, into the city of Viridian, and toward Pallet town.

"Professor Oak?" I said quitely, pushing the door open, my jean mid-thigh skirt and navy berette's already on, and white skirt, and bunny berette's discarded.
An elderly man, who reminded me very much of the man who stood in front of the Viridian exit everyday, stepped up and said "Yes, what do you need?"
"I'm one of the starting trainers, and I'd like a starter pokemon...if that's not too much to ask" I added.
"Not at all, you're the first here, right on time too!" Professor Oak said cheerily, turning back inside, notioning me to follow him.
"Here are the three starter pokemon. They are all very well balanced in power and handling efforts." Professor Oak said, pushing a red button on something that look to me like a very advanced trash can.
The domed, glass lid split and revealed on a platform that was steadily rising, three pokeballs, which I had seen my brother use many times before.
"This one is Charmander." Professor Oak said letting out what I saw as a small orange, lizard-like dinosaur.
"It's a fire type." He added turning back to the platform and retrieving the last two pokeballs.
"This one is Bulbasaur, a grass pokemon" He said releasing another pokemon that heavily resembled a green mini-dinosaur.
"And the last one is a Squirtle. A water pokemon." He said, releasing another pokemon, blue and turtle like this time.
"You can pick from any of the three." He said, his hands behind his back.
"I'd like Squirtle please." I said, still in my quiet voice.
"You'll need to speak up during battles, because no matter how polite you are during battles, your opponent won't go easy on you." He said returning all the pokemon, and handing me squirtles pokeball.
I nodded, and took the pokeball.
"You'll also want to speak up so your pokemon can hear what you want it to do!" He said, laughing merrily afterward at his own joke.
I can't say I really got the joke, so I merely smiled.
"Well, go on and make your story-oh, here's a pokedex for you also." He said handing me a red square with a blue dot, and a red dot at the top right corner.
I looked up at him questioningly.
"A pokedex, will help you identify the pokemon you encounter." He said explaining what it did.
"Oh, okay, thank you very much!" I said a little louder this time, but only so much.
"You're very welcome!" He said smiling down at me.

Two mistakes there, it should be 'WHAT?!' instead of 'WHAT!' it just looks and sounds better. And, it should be 'he screamed,(<--notice a comma there) jumping out of bed.'

That's all I could find, and I'm sure you missed a few more comma's, but now I have a real question. Can we start anytime, or until we get a few more people?)

I would only correct/complain/criticize other people on what they do If I can do it myself.

Key-
Bold - Grammatical/Spelling Mistake
Italic - Not really a mistake, but usually a Capital/Lower Case/Something else.
Underlined - Missed a space, full stop or a comma or incorrect punctuation usage.

Oh and, about you and your capitalising, the whole form isn't capitalised, and no, you're not better than most of them. And you're plot isn't exactly a plot. You used '...' to lengthen it out, and what you called 'The Plot' is actually a story of 2 people. It doesn't say that you're a trainer going out with Pokémon to become the greatest Pokémon Master or whatever it is. Right now, your 'plot' is about 7-8 Kids [Adding on you and the girl] going on an Adventure and one of those 7-8 Kids will die. That's it. Nothing else. You just told us a story, which doesn't involve us in it in anyway. Also, you're 'Rules' are what you plan to have rules are things like 'Power playing' and 'No Legendary Starters' not how many people you want. You think of yourself as so perfect, but you can't make your own RP yourself.

So Randall Kun, if you decide to criticize people, you should start to criticize yourself.

Give me a limit on the Pokémon available. Please. "I love the safety of my home." Firth cried annoying the Drow camp. The one that had captured him had to keep watch on him, annoying him everybit. Firth made various silly comments during the night, ones that made the Drow giggle, and ones that made him annoyed. Until a very strange subject was bought up...

"Why, tell me. Do you have to do this? We're the same race... We're both elves. You're just a dark elf and I'm a normal one."

The Drow froze. Pain dwelled in his whole body, as the screamed, resting his head in his arms, slamming his feet to the earth ground. Firth took a small rock and cut the rope he was wrapped up in and ran off.

That wasn't even a plan... But I did get to escape... With some gold too!

The half elf took off... Leaving a trail of golden dust... Strange.

That's something I used in Generic Fantasy RP# 3178 It was a good RP, but it ended. =/

The sun shines down on the sleepy town of Pallet. The Pidgy's tweet brightly in the trees marking the start of a new day.
All new trainers are excited about starting they're new pokemon journey's. But one boy is not so happy this day has arrived...

I stare out of my bedroom window, thinking hard about all the trainers that will be recieving their first pokemon today.
"Hurry Dane honey!" my mum says entering the room. "You'll be late for your first day of pokemon training".
"I'm not going" I say lying down on my bed.
"Honey, don't be like that..."
"Why?" I question.
"Because this will be a day you will never forget" she says "Now come on!"
She leaves slamming the door behind her.

Later I walk down the stairs my backpack on my back. My mother turns round to look at me. I let my bag drop to the floor.

She grabs me and hugs me.

"Now, you make me proud" she says weeping softly.
I walk to the door, my bag in hand. I give my mum one last look before I close the door behind me.
We won't be seeing each other for a very long time. But I WILL make her proud.

I take some unsteady steps towards Oaks lab. My first day of pokemon training is soon to begin.

"One day mum, I will make you proud...by becoming a pokemon master!" I cry breaking into a run towards the other side of Pallet...

Coming out of his room 5 minutes later, he kissed his mom goodbye and ran out hte door. I can't beleive I overslept.... He thought to himself..THen he remebered he was so excited he forgot to set his alarm...
When he arrived at Oaks lab he notcied no one was there... They all probably gotten their pokemon and left! He thought ot himself once more... Walking up to the door he hit it as hard as he could several times... The door opened and Oak stood there smiling... "
"Can I help you?" He asked in a low voice... "Well I was going to come this morning but I forgot to set my alarm and I just woke up five minutes ago...Is it to late to get a pokemon?" Ash asked with a soft voice..
"I gav all mune out today." He said grimly..."But I think I have one left." He said in a higher tone... "Do come in," He jestured into his lab.
The lab was huge...Rows and rows of pokeballs and all with a name...Nathan, Jenny, Zach, ect...He kept many pokemon he figured... It had many computers that had ment pictures of pokemon on the screens...
"Ahh, here we are." The old man said reaching an old table with a single pokeball on it... "Here it is. Go ahead it yours!" He said politely...
Reaching slowly onto the table the pokeball rolled away from him...Looking rather confused he reached for it agian and it opened. A gleam of red light burst through the room and a Pikachu became visable on the table. "Pika, Pikachu?" I siad looking around...
"Go ahead, pick him up!" Oak said looking at the pokemon...

I glanced around the book shelves I was examining and organizing in return for my starter, and saw the cutest pokemon standing in front of a boy with a very strange appearance.

I shrugged it off and placed the last book in place.

"I'm done professor oak!" I said cheerfully.

Professor oak froze as if he'd forgotten I was there.

"Pika?" Pikachu turned to me, and then to the boy.

Back and forth it went until I sweatdropped and announced my departure.

"Well, don't forget your pokedex, it's on the table over there along with a potion, and 5 pokeballs." He said nodding over to the table lined with computers and turning his attention back to the pikachu.

"Take this," Oak said and he handed me a red little computer type object.."This is a pokedex...It will register pokemon you see and catch!" Oaks said with a happier voice "Also these," He said handing me five pokeballs. "Good luck on your journey!" Oak said to me as I walked out of the lab...
Looking down the lane Ash seen the girl from the lab..He ran down to catch up with her.
"Hi, I am Ash!" He said smiling!

I knock on the lab door lightly and enter. Oak turns around and looks me up and down.
"Ah...another new trainer." he says "Follow me."
I follow Oak to the other end of the lab. I see several red and white capsules on little stands.
"They're pokeballs arn't they?" I ask.
"Yes" Oak replies. "Inside are pokemon..." He picks up the first one. "This is Bulbasaur, it's good-"
"-for beginners" I finish. "I know..."
"Well, well, well..." Oak says interested "So you know your pokemon?"
"A little..." I reply embarrased.
"Well...which do you want? Bulbasaur? Squirtle would probally suit you well..."
" I want Charmander" I say grabbing the ball off the table.
"...Are you sure?" Oak asked concerned "It's not an easy pokemon to raise"
"I know, that's why I want it..."
Oak observed me with curiosity.
"Well if your sure..." Oak then reached behind and picked up a red box and handed it too me. "This is-"
"A pokedex." I butt in, before looking apoligetic for interrupting.
"Hmm...I'd better be careful else you'll be stealing my job!" Oak laughs happily.
I smile back upsure but take the pokedex anyway. Why did I have to come on this stupid adventure anyway?
Turning around I notice for the first time that I am not alone...

I glanced behind myself and saw the boy in the lab earlier.

"Hi, my name is Liane." I said, returning his smile.

"What starter did you get again? I got a squirtle." I said, striking up a conversation.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

(Sorry I'm terribly lost as to where we all are)

"...What was that?" I ask Oak.
"Hmm...what?" he says turning round.
"...I thought I saw someone or something...at the door..." I say pointing.
Oak looks in the direction of the door, but there appears to be nothing there.
"Perhaps you thought you saw something?" he said shrugging.
"Maybe...maybe not" I reply slowly.
"Well, best not to worry about it" Oak says merrily "Probally just the excitement of starting your pokemon journey!"
Oak reached behind him and picked up five small objects that resembled pokeballs, but just a lot smaller.
"These..." Oak says gesturing towards the small pokeballs in his right hand "...are a small gift from me to all starting trainers. You will need these to capture more pokemon"
Oak showed me how to expand the pokeballs to full size when I needed to use them.
"Thanks. I'm not very good at the "capture" thing. I mostly studied the pokemon really..." I say as I take the pokeballs from him. Oak wishes me a fond farewell as I depart.

Out side I put the balls in my bag and check my items.
"All set" I think happily. But my mind is still mulling over the shadow I saw at the lab.
"I swear I didn't imagine it" I say to myself.
I'm so lost in thought that I don't notice the figures on the road ahead...

"I didn't get a normal starter! I got a Pikachu. He was out of the normal starters! Well He doesn't seem to like his pokeball." Ash said as Pikachu poped out of the pokeball!
"Pika, Pikachu?" Pikachu said looking around..."Pikachu!" Pikachu looked at Ash and frowned. "Get back in your ball please?" Ash said holding up the pokeball.

"It's so cute!" I crooned, as I picked up the Pikachu, and gave it a slight hug, ignoring Ash's question to it.

"I'd envy you, but my squirtle's still a lot cuter." I said, like the girl I was, holding out Pikachu, so Ash could return it back to it's pokeball.

I glanced up the road and saw someone coming down. They didn't even seem to notice we were there, and if that kept up he'd surely run into us...

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Hey, watch it!"
Looking up suddenly I only just see the boy and girl in front of me before:
*BANG*
I run into a girl and we both fall (her backwards me forwards) onto the floor.
My hand jerks as we fall and my pokeball shoots forward and hits the boys Pikachu on the head, and then lands by me. To make it worse the ball bursts open releasing my Charmander who lands right on top of me and the girl on the floor in a crumpled heap!
"I'm sorry!" I continue to cry as we struggle to get up.
Standing up we both brush ourselves off as I apoligise to her.
"I'm REALLY sorry" I say embarrassed...

I stand up indignatly and brush myself off.
I already don't like this guy.
"Watch where you're going next time." I barked at him, ignoring his apology.
I glanced at his charmander, still annoyed, and stroll away from both boys.
'Boys are so impossible!' I thought as my small squirtle waddled behind me as quickly as it could, being released in the frenzy also.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

I watch as the girl storms off before I turn to the boy she was with.
"I really didn't mean for that to happen" I say to him.
He shrugs at me as my Charmander waddles over to me cutely and smiles. I pick him up as he cries "Char!" happily.
"Well at least one of us is happy" I sigh putting Charmander back on the floor.
The boy goes to say something, but then we both hear a girl scream.
"Eeeaaahh!!"
"That girl!" the boy says next to me.
"Quick, she might be in trouble!" I say quickly picking up my bag. "Charmander return!" I command, which at once instantly causes his body dissolves into red energy before being zapped back into his pokeball.
The boy begins to follow me but he can't seem to keep up with me while holding his Pikachu.
"Hurry, we have to help her!" I cry desperatly, my will to help her empowered by my thirst to prove myself capable of being a pokemon trainer.
Responding to this he pushes himself to run faster until we just pass the entrance to route 1.
"Where is she?"
"Dunno" he replys shrugging.
"AIIIEEE!" we hear another scream and dart off in it's direction.
Then just ahead we see the girl and her Squirtle being assulted by a flock of wild Spearow. They are angrily pecking at both her pokemon AND the girl.
"Hey stop it! Leave her alone!" I shout stupidly at the Spearow.
Hearing me, a couple of the Spearow fly at us ready for battle.
The boy next to me drops his Pikachu ready to issue a command.
I hold up my own pokeball and ready myself to throw it.
"I have pondered this moment my whole life, and now that it has finally come I've got only one thing to say: Charmander...I CHOOSE YOU!" I shout loudly throwing my ball towards the oncomming Spearow...

"Squirtle, use water gun!" I said loudly over the cawing of the spearow.
Squirtle shot a jet of water, jumbling the spearows form of flight.

I ducked as a spearow came in for a peck.

"Squirtle, use iron defense and STAY like that until I tell you!" I said as squirtle withdrew into it's shell.

(I'm quitting if DTD does any more power-playing, because, A. it's against the rules B.it's super annoying C.I have ZERO tolerance.)

Drew continued to skate down Route 1, he pulled off a few tricks and saw a big flock of Spearow. There seemed to be a few people being attacked by them.

"Eat this... Punk." Drew muttered to himself. He drew a Pokéball from his backpack. A Pidgey came out. The small bird chanted it's name a few times and rested on Drew's shoulder.

"Call your flock to attack the Spearow. Call in a few Pidgeotto too." Drew whispered. Pidgey nodded and flew North to Viridian Forest.

OOC - Whoever posts next can introduce the Pidgey flock fighting the Spearow flock. :)

(Ok, so maybe I did get carried away. And I am sorry for that.
But I am new to roleplaying so I don't know everything yet. I'm not an idiot so a simple "please don't do that again it's wrong" would have sufficed. You made it sound like i'd done it lots of times before or something.
I followed the rule about not controlling others too much (I think), I guess I missed the one about "power playing" (has never even heard of it before).
I'll go back and change it if it annoys you that much, but please be more considerate towards the fact that I don't understand role playing as much as you. But I will learn in time. I will stop "power playing" from this moment forward.
Other then that I am enjoying this, so I will take it as a simple misunderstanding.)

The girl's Squirtle fought back bravely as my Charmander took down a spearow. The boy also seemed to be doing good, his Pikachu handling the situation well.
"There's too many of them!" I cried as some Spearow started to peck at me. My Charmander was too overwhelmed itself to aid me.
Turning to run I hear a different kind of bird cry.
"Ow! I know that sound..."
From across the trees a large flock of Pidgy fly towards us...

Drew smiled, He pushed back on his skateboard and yelled as loud as he can. The two flocks of birds confronted each other... The Pidgey flock included a few Pidgeotto, and even one Pidgeot... They had the advantage.

Soon enough, the Spearow flock flew away with the 'Pidge-' flock triumphant. Drew's Pidgey returned to his shoulder as the other birds flew away. Drew held out his hand.

"Drew Skeit, Pewter City. Nice to meet you." Drew introduced.

I glanced at the three boys and motioned to my squirtle.
"Thanks." I said reluctantly before slipping into the forests lining the path.
Squirtle waddled after me, and when I couldn't see any of the boys anymore I said "Well that was a pain. Let's see if there are any pokemon in here okay?"
Squirtle nodded in agreement to both of my comments "Squirtle Squirtle."

IC: Reaching out to shake Skeit's hand Ash spoke, "I'm Ash! I am from good Ol' Pallet! This is my Pikachu! I just got him a about an hour ago!" Ash said releasing his hand.
"Are you going on a pokemon Journey? Ash asked Skeit. I am and I am geussing the others are to! If ya'll don't mind, We could go together!" Ash said confidently!

even though I couldn't see them anymore, I still heard Ash's absurd suggestion.
Travel?! With those gross and wild boys?! I thought to myself no way.
I continued on my path and discovered a small spring.
Washing off some of the wounds I had received from the pesky spearow, and watching my Squirtle splash in the water gave me the conclusion that I didn't need anyone to help me.
I was fine on my own, and I wouldn't be the damsel in distress again.

(I am leaving this topic Randall-Kun for the simple reason that you didn't even read my reply, instead you just jumped to conclusions and naturally assumed that I wanted to annoy someone on purpose. I find it shocking how unjust you all have been when all I did was good over the top a bit. You all just ganged up on me not even treating me as a normal human being but some kind of idiotic animal that doesn't understand simple english. As you can see I was fairly new to the forum so you could have cut me a bit of slack but it was far easier for you all to simply push me around a bit and treat me like a simpleton. I must say you have not set a very good example for me that this forum is a place of respect and a welcoming community, you instead seemed egar to prove to me instead that you are all pig-headed self-loving asses, who can't even consider for a moment the feelings of others or see something from another point of view. I totally respect and understand what you said, and I agree what I did was incorrect, but i do dislike the way in which i was told. That is what bothers me.
I did read the rules of role playing and I did try not to control others too much but I couldn't just talk to myself all the time. But my idea for "moving the story forward" obviously counted more towards "power playing". I am more fit for fan fiction then role playing but I thought i'd give this a shot because I thought it would be fun, but that appears to have been a mistake. I thought that if I got something wrong someone would just point it out so I could learn how to role play from experience. Not moan at me relentlessly and act like a totally obnoxious git.
Obviously the rules don't always totally click for everyone straight away. The best you can do is try to see if this person is being an idiot, or just generally making an error as I was. You see it isn't nice when you trip over for everyone to kick you while you are down. What helps is when a person offers there hand and helps the person up on there feet so they can understand what it is they did wrong in the first place.

'The more the merrier?' I thought thinking this guy had to go get some better catch phrases, but I simply said "Well okay, if you really want to." I said, dipping a cherry print cloth into the water, and washing my hands off.
"I have my own pokeballs Squirtle we don't need his." I said as I baby squirtle looked at me as though it was seeing me for the first time.
I sighed and sat back down on a rock.
"C'mere Squirtle." I said, taking out a potion.
"Squirtle Squirtle." Squirtle waddled over to me and smiled big.
"Turn around." I said not waiting for Squirtle to turn around, but instead lifting him up and facing him away from me.
I sprayed the potion onto his shell where the spearow had pecked at him when he was using iron defense.
"So where are you headed? I'm guessing Viridian." I said.

"At the moment yes! I heard there was a gym there but the leader has been gone for a while, No one nows where he is. If he isn't there looks like Pewter is the next place! So what 'bout you? Where you headed? You gonna be a trainer or a breeder or what?" Ash asked curiously.

"I'm thinking I'll be a trainer and a part-time breeder." I said, hugging my squirtle closely.
"I want to breed shiny pokemon. They're so special. My mom's going to get me a Shiny Zangoose when I win my first badge." I said, anticipating the thought of a Zangoose, one of my favorite pokemon.
"See, my mom is a respected business woman, and she get's anything she want's whenever she wants it." I said sweatdropping, as I thought of my mom yelling at people even older than herself.

"I get a baby Snorlax when I get my first badge! I can't wait! It might be shiny! If it is, you can use it." Ash said slightly blushing... Grabbing Pikachu's ball he released him, "Ya' wanna stay out of your pokeball?" Ash asked Pikachu.
"PIKA PIKA!" Pikachu said jumping up and down. "Ok, but you have to behave!" Ash said sternly looking at Pikachu!

Squirtle wriggled out of my grasp and splashed into the spring, motioning for the pikachu to follow.
"If it is I'll have to find a pokemon that's compatible..." I said thinking "Well, that's not important right now, let's go to Viridian-but...what about the other boy that was on the path?" I asked.

"Charmander use Scratch!"
"Char!" my pokemon cried as it struck the wild Pidgey with it's sharp claws sending the pokemon flying.
"Pwee..." the Pidgey yelped as it fell to the floor exausted.
"Alright! Charmander return!" I said withdrawing him into his pokeball.
I pulled out an empty pokeball from my pocket and enlarged it just like Oak had shown me.
"Pokeball go!" I cried throwing the ball at the Pidgy.
The ball hit it's mark and clicked open and for an instant the Pidgey was encased in red energy before being drawn into the balls black depths.
The ball fell to the floor and rocked feably about before the red light dimed signaling my successful capture.
I scooped up the ball in my hand, feeling proud of my first capture.
"One pokemon down, only 300 or something to go..." I sighed.

Wandering away I was filled with the recent memories of the boy and girl I had met. Although we had took down that flock of Spearow together quite magnificently as a team, It never would of happened if I hadn't peeved that poor girl off. So afterwards I had slipped away, not wanting to cause any further trouble.
Even though it was mere minutes ago, I still wondered what would have happened if i'd stayed with them...
"No" I thought unhappily "I was always destined to be alone, no matter how much I want friends"

Looking round I noticed I had somehow wandered back to the spot where we had battled the Spearow. Looking round I realised that the girl and boy were still nearby. My heart leapt thinking maybe it wasn't too late.
"Maybe I could be friends with them!" I thought racing over to them.
Cautiously I crept over to them troubled by my thoughts.

"Hello" I said feebly "Are you two going to Veridian City?"

Drew looked up and down at the girl holding the Squirtle. He whistled and looked away, blushing. Pidgey still perched on his shoulder.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Drew said. He winked at the only girl in the group and looked away.

Noticing what Drew was doing, Ash jumped over next to Liane. "So, you really like pokemon, huh? I love my Pikachu! He is so cute, so is your squrtile!" Ash said putting his hand down on Liane's, then noticing it. "Oh, sorry bout that!" Ash said blushing.

Feeling my face reddening from both the wink and unneccesary 'holding of hands' I fought myself in my mind

I sighed and smoothed my skirt.

Squirtle pulled the edge of my skirt and held it's arms out.

I glanced at the girl thinking everything was fine now but she seemed a little tense.
"Maybe I should apoligise again" I thought "Or at least be a little friendly to break the ice. We are going to be traveling together after all..."
I turned to look at her as she picked up her Squirtle.
"Squirtle!" It said happily.
The girl looked as if she seemed to understand what it must be trying to say, but I had no idea.
"Perhaps trainers and pokemon are somehow connected to each other on an unseeable level" I thought to myself as I observed the girl and her Squirtle "That must be how pokemon understand their trainers commands even though they are a completely different species..."
Then suddenly something occured to me: "Or could it be that pokemon do understand us but it is us who refuse to understand them?"
It was just then the girl glanced round at us and she happened to lay her eyes on me just as I was wide eyed with that last thought. She looked kind of shocked to see me staring at her and that broke me out of my stupor rather sharply.
"Ah! Err...I..." I choked out highly embarrased to be caught looking at her like that.
"Way to go Dane. Just let her catch you goggling at her, that will really break the ice" I told myself scoldingly.
"I...I was just thinking..." I said wishing she would look at anyone but me "You never did except my apoligy before..."
She started to give me a certain look so I continued hastily with:
"I mean not that you were wrong or anything as it was my fault, but you never did did get round to telling me your name or anything...?"

Oh great! I am gonna get stuck on this journey with two other guys going after Liane! I am going after her! AHH! This sucks! I hate this! Seeing that she was angry, Ash stood up, "We not getting anywhere by sittin 'round. Lets go!" Ash said try to lighten the mood.

I sighed, and nodded "Sure, Forgiven, and Ash is right, let's go." I said returning my squirtle and walking on down the path casually, not really caring whether they were following me or not.

(Yes that is short. It doesn't really give me a lot to work with. Are we just going to keep walking down this road or will something exciting happen? "Thanks" I smiled moving faster to catch up with her.
"Are we ever going to reach Viridian City?" I pant as we climb a stony hill.
Reaching the top of the grassy hill, we can see the tops of buildings over the trees in the distance.
"That must be Viridian City!" I cried pointing and bouncing on the balls of my feet. Then I heard a *pop!* sound and something hit the floor. It seemed all my shaking had caused one of my Pokeballs to come loose, and now it was rolling away down the other side of the hill!
"Hey, come back here!" I cried taking chase of my runaway ball as it rolled faster and faster. I couldn't tell if the others behind me were following me or not. As the path leveled out I made a grab for the ball...and tripped landing on my butt my ball rolled towards a nearby tree and was stopped by something.
Then I heard a mans voice coming from the trees.
"Well, well, well..." It spoke "What do we have here?"

"Hey!" I shouted as the boy ran off (too lazy to go see if my character knows his name yet, so for now, your 'the boy'.)
I scowled and went all the way back down the hill, muttering 'boys' as I stomped back down.
"EeEeEek!" I screeched as the ground gave way underneath me and I fell into a pit, my bottom hitting the ground hard.
"Ouch..." I said biting my lip "That's going to leave a mark."
I looked up, and saw that I had fallen into a 7 feet deep pit, and I wondered who could dig something like this.
"HEY!" I shouted "ANYBODY?!" I flopped my arms in frustration.

OCC: No it not gonna be exactaly liekhte show. Its not ALL gonna revlove around me! lol...There can be team rocket but only team rocket cause we dont know abou Johto or Hoenn!

IC: "Pika?" Pikachu said looking back. "What is it buddy?" I asked trying to see what ha saw..."Hey where did the others go?" Ash said as her started walking back toward Pallet. Great! Somthing to backtrack! Looking around I spotted a pit with fishy characters swarming it...
I know them. Their the ones that the cops are after. Team Rocket! "Pikachu, use a thundershock!" I yelled trying to distract the Rockets. "What are you doing here?" I yelled leaping from a small ledge.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Hey! Who are you?" I said to the figure.
"Not who I am but who we are" The voice corrected.
Then I saw that the first figure was joined by a second.
The two figures began to speak in a poetic way along to creepy music which came from nowhere.

Prepare for trouble,
And make it double,
To protect the world from devastation,
And unite all people within our nation,
To denounce the evils of truth and love,
And extend our reach to the stars above,
Jesse,
James,
Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light,
Surrender now or prepare to fight!

It was then I noticed a CD player on the floor which was playing the creepy tune. I kicked and interupted the music.
"Hey!" The woman said "Your going to pay for that twerp! Right James?"
"He shouldn't even be here Jesse" the man the woman was addressing said "Meoth should have caught him in the trap!"
"Meoth said he caught someone" Jesse replied "I guess we will just have to deal with this twerp ourselves!"
"Hand over the rest of your Pokemon!" James commanded.
"No" I said "Give me back the one I lost!"
"Hahahahaha!" They laughed.
"Your not getting your Pokemon back from us" Jesse said nastily "We are Team Rocket, and stealing Pokemon is what we do!"
"I'll fight you for it!" I cried
"Haha! Just try it!" James laughed.
"Alright I will!" I said checking my pokeballs.
"Oh no! I must have dropped Charmander, my best Pokemon. I don't know if Pidgey can beat them alone..."
"Ekans go! Teach this twerp a lesson!" Jesse cried throwing her ball.
"Koffing get him!" James shouted throwing his ball too.
"Pidgey I choose you!" I said throwing my own ball.
"Ekans Wrap that stupid bird!" Jesse commanded.
"Pidgy counter it with Tackle!" I cried.
My Pidgey struck the snake bravely and escaped being wrapped but didn't do much damage.
"Hahaha! You think you can beat us with that puny thing? Koffing use Smokescreen!" James cried.
The koffing exhailed a large amount of gas which enveloped my Pidgey.
"Pidgey no!" I shouted in desperation as my poor pokemon was lost in the smoke.
"Hahaha! Next time don't mess with Team Rocket!" Jesse laughed.
"Pwee!" My Pidgey tweeted.
"Huh? Pidgey?" I said
Suddenly the smoke seemed to shift and was blown away in a massive gust of air.
"Pidgey!" I cried happily as the pokemon appeared unharmed "But how...?"
Pidgey's special ability "Keen Eye" Prevents it from loosing accuracy from attacks such as "Sand Attack" and "Smokescreen" The Pokedex in my pocket stated.
"Oh...Pidgey must have gained experience from the battle and learned Gust then!" I said.
Then my Pidgey directed a gust towards Team Rocket's pokemon blowing them backwards into Jesse and James. My pokeball fell out of James grip and flew forwards next to me.
"We will finish this later, we have to help the others!" I commanded picking up Charmander's pokeball.
My Pidgey tweeted in response and followed my lead back up the hill...

EDIT: This all happens just before Ash meets Team Rocket. They sneak up the hill another way and that is where you catch them.

Completely frustrated out of my mind I sighed, and let my arms hang on my sides.
I took a deep breath and-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I yelled, trying to get anyone's attention.
When nobody came after a few seconds of complete silence except some pidgeys flying away, I flopped to the floor.
"Hehe, no use little girl!" I heard a high voice laugh.
I looked up and saw a laughing meowth.
"Eep!" I said as it started talking again.
"Nobody's gonnah hear you!" He said, walking away.
i scowled and folded my arms.
"I'm the damsel in distress again. Where are my knights in shining armor?!" I yelled up the pit.

Racing up the hill I see the hole in front of me and a Meowth standing above it teasing whoever was inside.
"Pidgey Tackle that Meowth!" I commanded.
"Pwee!" Pidgey cried as he swooped down and knocked the cat out and down into the hole.
"Hey!" The Meowth said "Don't do that!"
"Huh?" I said "A Meowth that talks!?"
(Naoko I'm really sorry please forgive me but) "Don't just stand there gawking, help me out!" the girl said sharply.
"Oh, right!" I said "Pidgey can you lift her out for me?"
I wasn't sure if my Pidgey had the energy to lift a person but it seemed willing to try. It flew down into the hole and let her hold its claws.
"Just get her high enough so she can reach the top Pidgey!" I cried.
"Pwee!" my Pidgey tweeted in response and flapped it's wings harder as it began to tire.
"It's no good, we need Drew!" I shouted to her.
Just then Pidgey began to lower. I realised the Meowth had grabbed the girls leg and was pulling them both down...
"No!" I cried as the Meowth clung onto the girl.
It was then I remembered my other pokemon.
"Charmander go!" I cried throwing the ball. Charmander materialized in the hole below Meowth.
"Charmander attack it with your tail! Use Ember!" I cried.
"Char!" my Charmander cried before swinging it's tail at the Meowth which just caused it to climb further up her leg.
"Charmander stop! You might hurt her!" I shouted as my Charmander stopped swinging.
"Can you reach your Squirtle?" I asked the girl.

(It's okay, just you making Liane scream in 'distress' made me annoyed. That kind of controlling where you don't make her look like an idiot is okay.)
"Yeah, hold on, I got a better idea!" I shouted up, and then smirked down at the meowth.
Pulling back my other leg, I kicked the meowth on the head, sending it flying into the side of the pit, and sliding back down.
As I climbed out of the accursed hole, I sighed.
"Thanks!" I said.
"Heeeey!" The meowth said jumping up and down "What about me?!"
"Too bad so sad!" I said, pulling my eye lid down and sticking my tounge out.

OCC: Wait who did I attack then? Last I check I used a thundershock on the Rockets! Now if they are all gone, you all ignored my post. But Ido see your edit and thats fine...Just a little confused!

(Ah! I get it.)

"Ok Charmander! Let it rip!" I shouted.
"Ahhh..." the Meowth wimpered turning round to face my Charmander.
"Char!" it cried angrily flicking red hot Embers at Meowth.
"Yearrrr!" The Meowth screamed on fire comically flying out of the hole and above us.
"Well...at least we helped him out of the hole!" the girl said laughing.
I laughed along with her as the Meowth flew away.
"Yeah! You did good Charmander!" I said as my Pidgey helped it out of the hole.
"Char, char!" it cried happily.
"You too Pidgey!" I said happily to it as it tweeted.
"I never thought to tell you to kick the Meowth" I said to the girl "Your very clever!"

EDIT: Randall, I thought you were attacking Jesse and James after I left. Meowth was never with them. He was springing the trap.

IC: "Are you all ok?" I called from the upper ledge around 20 feet away. "I turn around and you gone! Lets go!" I called motioning towards the ledge he was on. "We're almost to Viridian, I can see the pokemon center!"

We both run up to where Ash is standing.
"Sorry" I said to Ash "I lost one of my pokemon and chased after it. Liene (is that right?) followed me and got caught in a trap made by Team Rocket! It was all my fault...again."
Looking around I see Jesse and James all black and electricuted.
"Did you do that!?" I ask Ash shocked.

[Stemps]

"Yeah that was me! I have seen the rockets making trouble on TV and I wanted to stop it before it started! Are you guys alright? I was kinda worried!" Ash said looking dead at Liane.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Liane was brilliant" I said "She's a smart girl. But where's Drew got to? We could have done with him back there to help us..."

[Stemps]

"True! He traveled ahead I think...I'm not sure. Anyway lets go before it gets dark. The sun is setting anyway." Ash said hurrying along. "I like the way you handled your Charmander back there Dane.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Well...fire types are strong, but are also difficult to train." I reply as we approach Viridian City.
"I'm really impressed by the strength of your Pikachu's electrical attacks. But both me and you are going to suffer against the Gym Leader in Pewter City though unless we both capture a pokemon that's effective against rock types. Pikachu and Charmander are weak against rock and ground types. Liane's Squirtle will have the easiest job because it's water type pokemon..."

"If you two are done talking about who's pokemon is good, and who's raised their pokemon well, we need to find Drew." I said, folding my arms.
'Where did he go anyway???' I thought to myself.

"Sorry..." I reply blushing "I'm a walking Pokemon dictionary sometimes. I've read so much about them, and I want to make good use of it all. But from what i've seen from you and Ash you fight more with your heart's, then your minds. And your such great trainers because of that..." I stop realising I'm going on again.
"Is Drew some kind of bird catcher or something? I ask picking up the conversation again "The way he summoned all those Pidgey to come to our aid..." I trail off as we arrive at the edge of route 1 and stare at the large buildings in front of us.
"Sure is bigger then Pallet Town!" I say excited "Shall we head towards the Pokemon Center first or do you want to try and find Drew...?"

"Ummm..." I said thinking "We last saw drew when we were coming to viridian, now we're here, but where is he?"
"I think we should drop off our pokeballs first, then go look for him inside viridian, since we won't have our pokemon with us, we won't go outside the city limits." I said, making up my mind.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Ok" I replied nodding "That's a good idea."
We approached the Pokemon Center and the automatic doors zipped open for us as we stepped inside. Looking round I could see a small crowd huddled around the TV set sounding very worrid about something.
"I wonder what that is all about" I thought to myself wondering over.
When I got close enough I could hear what all the fuss was about. I could hear the female reporter from the news channel giving some kind of report:
"...and the cause of the fires around Viridian Forest were none other then the evil Pokemon Theives 'Team Rocket'! The police in the area have had no luck tracking them down as they seemed to have ran from the incident soon after starting it. Officials believe this was done in an attempt to scare the community and put everyone off guard whilst Team Rocket complete their fiendish schemes. We will bring you further updates as the story unfolds..."
I turned my head away from the set, in shock at what I'd just heard.
"Dad..." I wispered under my breath...

"Oooo!" I said, puffing my cheeks out "Those pesky...rockets! We just got rid of them!!!"
"Squirtle Squirt!" Squirtle said, puffing his cheeks out also and putting his hands on the side of his shell, imitating myself.
"We need to find Drew though!" I said storming out of the pokemon center.
"Squirtle Squirtle Squirt!" Squirtle said a question mark appearing over his head
"If the rockets are out there we'll need our pokemon, so we better keep them for now." I said returning Squirtle.

While the others watched the television I was with Pikachu as Nurse Joy sprayed some potion on him.
"Your Pikachu looks very strong," Nurse Joy spoke breaking the silence. "How long have you had him, Year or so?" She asked.
"Nope! I just got him a couple of hours ago!" Ash said looking suprised at her comment.
"But I thank you for your comment on him!" Ash said smiling. "Come on guys! Pikachu is fine he can come with us!" Ash hollered at the others.

(BTW the Team Rocket was meant to be the actual Grunts not Jesse and James, but the way you took it is funnier)

"Nurse Joy could you heal my Pokemon please?" I said handing them to her in a daze. Then she turned around and placed then on the healing machine.
"What are you doing?" Ash said "We have to get going already!"
"I know..." I said wearily "They just need a quick one"
"Here you go! All done!" Nurse Joy said handing me back my pokeballs.
"Thank You..." I said before following Ash out of the door...

So where to look first? Ash thought to himself. "I see a path over around the bend. We could go over there though its out of the city limits. We have out POkemon so it should be fine!" Ash said walking toward the path.

[Dragon Trainer Dane]

"Hey! Whats that!?" I cry pointing to an object floating high above the entrance to route 2 "It looks like a balloon or something..."

[Stemps]

Leaning in Ash tried to see what it was but could tell. "I don't know what it is, Pikachu zap it with a thundershock!" Ash spoke the commands. After PIkachu zapped the floting object I turned to Dane. "Go check it out and meet me at the pokemon center in a hour.
I will check out the path!" Ash said hurrying along the path. "See ya in a bit!"

I looked around at the two boys, who were now running down their respective paths.
"W-w-what about me?!" I said loudly.
"Boys are always unreliable. I'll look around town." I said, letting squirtle rest awhile longer.

After a long time of searching I sighed, and took a break in a nearby coffee shop.
Ordering myself a strawberry smoothie, I sat down in one of the stools next to the elevated tables next to the window.
"He just disappeared..." I said my straw hanging a centimeter away from my mouth.

Drew was exhausted from the walk. He was different... Pidgey was perched onto his shoulder, and on the side was a Bulbasaur... Drew rushed to the Pokémon Center straight ahead.

"Excuse me... Have you seen 2 ummm... Ugly... looking boys about my age and an ok looking girl around my age around here?" Drew asked. He looked around the Pokémon Center and through the glass that seperated the Center from the Coffee Shop was Liane. "Hope she didn't hear that..." Drew hissed to Nurse Joy. Nurse Joy chuckled.

"Did you want your Pokémon healed then?" She asked kindly.

"Sure..." Drew replied. He returned his 2 Pokémon to their respective Pokéballs and handed them to Nurse Joy.

Squirtle now sat across from me and it was easily enjoying a glass of iced water I had ordered for him.
I sighed and watched people passing by the shop.
"Where is that stupid guy?!" I huffed.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle said pointing directly to the pokemon center where Drew was talking to Nurse Joy.
"You could've told me earlier!" I hissed at him as I swept him up and left some bills on the table, heading too the pokemon center.
"S-s-squirtle!" It cried, holding on to the glass of water for dear life.
"This isn't yours! I'll get you another one later." I said, swiping the glass out of it's hands and returning it.
I navigated past the crowd of people and ended up in front of Drew "Where were you?!" I asked, hands on my hips, and an annoyed expression etched on my face.

Running and panting I rush along the path towards Viridian Forest, comming ever closer to the strange object in the sky.
[I]"What is that thing anyway?" I think to myself.
Getting closer I can see that it is indeed a hotair balloon in what looks like the shape of a Meowth.
"Weird..." I say before I shout upwards "Who are you?"
Then I hear three people reply that I hoped I'd never see again.

Allow Jesse to answer that as you prepare for trouble,
Team Rockets on the scene so make it double,
To protect the world from devastation,
To unite all people within our nation,

Meowth thats right!

The Meowth chimed in this time to finish their motto and I knew this meant trouble.
"Haha twerp! Thought you'd seen the last of us eh?" Jesse laughed from the balloon.
"More 'hoped' actually" I replied bitterly.
"HEY!" they both cried shocked.
"No one speaks to Team Rocket like that!" James said angrily "Especially not little twerps like you!"
"Who cares?" the Meowth said cutting in "Either nab his pokaymon or lets get going!"
They both nodded at Meowth which I found slightly amusing.
"We will deal with you later twerp!" Jesse said before letting the balloon set off again "We have some business in Viridian to settle!"
"They did cause that fire...but i've got to know what they are up to" I thought before chasing after them.

From the balloon Team Rocket could see me chasing after them as we reached Viridian.
"Your not gonna believe this Jess, but the twerp is following us!" James said kind of shocked.
"Who cares about some little twerp?" Jesse said angrily "If he even dares follow us we can deal with some little boy!"
"Thats not what I heard..." Meowth said "I know that boy was more of a problem then you are sayin' he is."
"So what?" Jesse said sounding slightly worrid "We are Team Rocket, we always lie and dodge the truth. What else is knew?"
"Plus he has some friends too" Meowth continued "I say we catch them off guard and steal their pokaymon instead of the centers."
"Hey, yeah! That's not a bad idea Meowth!" James said both him and Jesse beaming.
"Yes, who wants sick and injured Pokemon anyway?" Jesse cried hatching the perfect plan "We will pretend to invade the center, and then steal all the twerps pokemon when they are not looking!"
"Ahahaha!" they laughed thinking they had the perfect plan.
"Onward James!" Jesse commanded "We have some twerps pokemon to steal!"

I raced forwards towards the City.
[I]"I wonder what Team Rocket are planning anyway?" I think "Whatever it is, it can't be good news for us!"
"Hey wait a second!" I cried slowing "Liane and Drew, I forgot about them! They have no idea whats going on!" I shouted before taking off again.
I raced into the city dearly hoping I wasn't too later as the Rockets balloon loomed overhead...

Drew stared at Liane. "I'm not too sure myself. I went back to Pallet to get Bulbasaur from Oak. I call her Synthes. nice name huh?" Drew said to Liane. He bought his two hands back behind his head and yawned. He bent down next to Liane and whipsered in her ear. "You're the center of attention for the two other boys eh?" Drew chuckled and made his back straight. He released his two Pokémon from his Pokéballs and began to walk towards the door. "Where are they?" Drew asked, turning around.

I flushed and said "That's not really important right now, for the reason you just stated! I don't know where they are either!" I said.
Why was every boy I met soo....augh!
I stepped outside of the pokemon center and looked around.
I caught a glimpse of Dane, running toward us "Hey! I found Drew!" I yelled pointing to him. (I still can't see your attachment.)

Liane shouted something to me but I couldn't quite catch it. I definatly heard her say "Drew" so maybe she had found him? But there wasn't time for that!
"Liane! Team Rocket are above you...run!" I shouted.
"What?" I heard her cry at me but it was too late. I watched in desperation as Team Rocket threw a load of black orbs from their balloon. Black orbs that turned out to be...
"BOMBS! Liane, get out of the way!" I shouted desperatly at her.
I watched her look up and see Team Rockets balloon and the bombs heading her way. I thought she would run...or at least scream...but she just stood there...
I felt awful but there was nothing I could do...

"Pfft, Mr. Dane only cares about Liane. Can't he see me?" Drew hissed. His 2 Pokémon, Synthes and his Pidgey fell into a battle stance. "Pidgey now!" Drew commanded. Pidgey gave a high pitched whistle as beating of wings could be heard in the distance. Synthes leapt up frantically trying to take down the flying balloon.

"Synthes makes me look bad..." Drew said, smacking his forehead.

"Oh no." I said looking up and frozen on the spot.
"Squirtle, watergun!" I called.
Squirtle shot a jet of water at the bombs, leaving the wet bombs unignighted (lack of better word)
"Okay, time to go!" I said dashing into the pokemon center.

(I was hoping you would do something along those lines Naoko. ;) )

In their balloon Team Rocket looked down on the current events angrily.
"Little twerps, they put out the fuses on the bombs!" Jesse cried with rage.
"And now we don't ave any bombs left!" Meowth said shocked.
James laughed to himself and Jesse turned round in anger of his amusement of the situation.
"What are you smirking at?" she shouted angrily.
"I'm smirking Jess, because I know that an unignited bomb is still a potential explosive device" he said smiling producing Koffing's Pokeball "And lucky for us I have just the thing..."
"Ah!" Jesse said grinned "Koffings Self Destruct!"
"Yes!" James said raising the ball "Koffing go!"
The Koffing materialized near the unexploded bombs as I came closer.
I noticed Drew's Pidgey, and what must be his Bulbasaur.
I could also see Liane, looking shocked but ready.
"We can easily take on Team Rocket!" I thought happily.
"Charmander I choose you!" I cried throwing the ball. Charmander appeared near Koffing ready to take him on.
"Ok Drew...Liane..." I said nodding at them.
Drew had already sent out his Pidgey and it flew up towards the balloon.

Team Rocket had noticed this unfortunatly.
"Ekans go! Poison Sting attack!" Jesse shouted releasing her Pokemon.
It struck the poor Pidgey directly and I watched as it fell downwards hurt from the attack.
This had bought Team Rocket the time they needed though.
"Koffing NOW!" James cried.
I watch as the Koffing became encased in light and I knew we had just a few seconds to do somethingfast...

[Allelujah Haptism]

"Squirtle, use water gun to blow that koffing away! fast!" I shouted, as Squirtle jumped all the way up to the koffing, which was now glowing immensly with blinding light.
Squirtle shot yet another jet of water out of it's mouth and sent the koffing only a few feet away, when it exploded.
I screamed and ducked into the pokemon center, grabbing squirtle and dragging him in with me.
Hopefully Dane and Drew would have sense to have run for cover.

Synthes, Vine Whip the Koffing and throw them at... uh... Drew looked around his surroundings. There was a few houses, a Pokémart, a Pokémon Center, and an Abandoned Gym. "THE GYM!" Drew finished. Synthes hurled its vines at the purple Pokémon and threw them at the abandoned gym. It exploded, as the gym followed shortly after. A pile of rubble remained from it. Drew commanded Pidgey to burst the balloon and walked into the Pokémon Center.

Once inside, Drew took a cup of water from a tray on the counter and started sipping it. He turned around to find Liane. "Not bad, not bad."

(err...a little fast Drew. I know it's a role play but you can describe things more you know. Naoko doesn't write a lot, but what she writes flows smoothly and works. I write a little too much, but I like to describe feelings and emotions plus I like to set the scene and such, else the whole thing won't make sense.
Drew commanded Pidgey to burst the balloon and walked into the Pokémon Center.
Wow that's fast. You did that all in one sentence? And what happened to Team Rocket?

Once inside, Drew took a cup of water from a tray on the counter and started sipping it. He turned around to find Liane. "Not bad, not bad."
This is ok if a bit random. We almost died out there and you seem totaly cool about it. Also, who's saying the last line?

Personally I think this would flow better:

Defeated, Koffing was forced to return to James's Pokeball.
"Grrr!" Jesse cried in anger "These twerps keep ruining our plans!"
Once Team Rockets Koffing was out of the way Drew turned his attention on the balloon itself. Drew ran to his poisoned Pidgey on the floor and sprayed antidote to cure it's poisoning.
"You ok now Pidgey?" Drew said looking at his pokemon with worry.
"Pwee!" the Pidgey cried and flew upwards into the sky.
"Ok Pidgey! Tackle and burst that balloon!" Drew cried.
"Pw, pw, pwee!" Pidgey cried and shot straight through the balloon bursting it.
"Ahhh! Team Rockets blasting off again!" Team Rocket cried as the balloon flew out of sight.

Drew turned to Dane and Liane, giving them both a nod as if to say "You ok?"
Dane gave a swift nod and Liane followed suit.
Drew walked into the pokemon center feeling slightly shocked. He took a cup of water from a tray on the counter and started sipping it. He turned around to find Liane.
"You were good back there you know..." (whoever's meant to be saying this line) said.

(I'm sorry Drew it's just you are really skipping things which are important to know. Just don't take this badly, ok? Just try to elaborate more and give us some facts.
In fact, there is nothing I can really do to continue the story as you have ensured that i'm not saying the last line therefore i'm not there yet.)

"Not bad, Liane... Not bad." Drew finished. He sat down on a sofa beside her. "Ash likes you the most." Drew whistled and walked up to the counter, picking up his 2 Pokéballs he had given to Nurse Joy.

"And the point of that was?" I asked myself, as Drew gave his pokeballs to Nurse Joy.
"I noticed that both of them like me thank you very much it's not like your any different." I muttered under my breath, folding my arms.

Sitting up, I seen an explosion from town. Nice nap Ash thought as he stood up and ran into town. Seeing Dane,Laine,and Drew I asked. "Where did you go?" I asked loking at Drew. "We've been looking everywhere for you!" Thinking in the back of his mind.
Not really, I have had a short nap! "Anyway you all got your pokemon?" I asked ready to head out.

Drew nodded at Ash. "Yea, I went to get a Bulbasaur from Oak." Drew picked up the Pokéballs and attached them to his belt. He walked over to Liane, petting her Squirtle. "We need to battle each other some day..." He said, turning around at Ash.

(Ok, i'm a tad annoyed. I wrote a whole post continuing this and it seems to have dissapeared. Hmm...maybe I didn't enter it right or something but I'm so sure I did...
Well i'm not writing it all again so i'll just have to tell you basically what it said:

- I said how we had to get going to Pewter City.
- I saw a hurt Mankey a whole lot happened and I end up healing it.
- I decided to catch it and take it to the Pokemon center for a full heal telling you lot i'd meet you later.

Drew took another glass of water and decided to head out to Pewter City alone. He released his two Pokémon, his Pidgey and Bulbasaur and started walking up North. During the end of Viridian City, Drew saw a fainted old man who lay over the entrance/exit. Ignoring the man, Drew stepped over him and continued to Viridian forest.

"Hey!" I shouted after Drew "Wait up!"
Scooping up squirtle in my arms I glanced at Ash, and hurried after him.
"Ew." I said looking down at the old man.
Scooting around carefully, I waited for Ash on the other side of the old man.
"I need my COFFEE!" He shouted jumping up and rounding on me.
"Nobody goes through my property without my morning coffee!!!" He screeched.
"Okay Okay!" I said putting my hands up in self-defense.
"Get me out of here! Ash! Drew! Dane?! come on!" I shouted.
"C-c-coffee." He said drowsily, as he fainted on the floor again.
"Ew!" I squeaked as I ran after Drew, as far away from the old man as possible.

"Hey, Old man leave the girl alone! Have your dang coffee!" I said thrusting it forward. "Lets go guys! We have a ways to go before Pewter." I sid walking by the old man.
"What are you all waiting for?" Ash asked standing wit his hands on his hips.

Around the top of Viridian somewhere or really the grass to the west of Viridian, but this RP doesn't have to reflect the games does it?)

I paced in the center worrid about that poor Mankey I had brought. It had only been minutes since I had left the others, and Nurse Chansey had smiled as if it would not take that long to heal but...
"Are you the boy who brought in the Mankey?" A woman said sharply behind me.
"Yes..." I said turning round to face Nurse Joy "Will it be alright?"
"It will..." she said.
My heat leaped.
"But I want to know..." she continued "What kind of a trainer you think you are treating your Pokemon like that!" she finished angrily.
"Hey!" I said shocked "That wasn't my Pokemon, I thought it was wild! I brought it here because I was worrid about it."
"Oh..." Joy replied blushing "Yes it is a trainers Pokemon...so I assumed that you..."
"Well I'm not that kind of trainer!" I said boldly "I could never treat Pokemon that way!"
"Oh, I'm so sorry..." she said apoligising.
"That's Ok." I said calming down "Your just concerned about Pokemon, there is nothing wrong with that."
"Yes, I am sorry" she replied holding out Mankey's Pokeball "Here, he will be fine now. Just don't battle him too hard for a few days, but give him some exercise to get him healthy again..."
"But...but..." I replied quickly feeling a bit stunned "He's not my Pokemon, he's some other trainers!"
"Yes, but that trainer didn't want him and he now needs a better trainer" Nurse Joy said "He won't cope alone in the wild now he's trained, and you seem like the perfect trainer to raise him."
I took the Pokeball off her still feeling shocked.
"But what if he doesn't like me? Or if I do a bad job or something?"
"You saved his life" Nurse Joy said "I would think he would be honoured to have a trainer like you, I know I would..."
I left the center still feeling a bit shocked. On the way to route 2 I bought some coffee to hopefully liven me up, but I couldn't seem to drink it.
Finding the others I gave the coffee to Ash without even looking.
He handed it to some guy begging for coffee, but I didn't care.
I was still thinking over what Nurse Joy had said.
"I would think he would be honoured to have a trainer like you, I know I would..."
Did she really mean that? I looked at the others.

Strong, quick-thinking Ash.
Brave Liane who fights with her heart.
Drew, the bold and rebellious.
And me...

No, not one great trainer...four...

"What are you all waiting for?" Ash asked standing with his hands on his hips.
I smiled to myself and went to follow him wondering what lay ahead for us all as we stepped ever deeper into the wonderful world of Pokemon...

"My house is right over there." I said pointing to the black gates I had walked through only hours ago.

Before they could say anything, I guess my mom's butler spotted me.
"Miss! Misstress has been worried sick!" He shouted, running toward me.

"Mumbling something about getting eaten." Jaques' said, folding his arms and nodding as the gates slid open.

Jaques' clapped his hands gleefully and rushed back through the gates.
I sighed, wishing I had never suggested it.
"Oh no." I mumbled, walking toward the gates, hoping Ash and the others knew to follow me.

"Wow!" I said admiring the front garden "You have got a very nice house Liane!"
As we all stepped inside the gate closed behind us. I looked warily at the others, Liane herself looked rather fidgety. Ash walked close to her and asked her something I couldn't quite hear.
"I never thought that Liane would be this well off" I thought to myself.

Drew scratched his head, walking in through the well-kept entrance. He looked at the plants, sorted in colors. He kept walking... Thinking as he went. The household was very rich, compared to the apartment Drew shared with his friends. The butler, Jaques was hell dressed. Drew looked at Lianne who was pretty mucht the opposite.

'Aha!" Drew thought to himself.

He quickly ran towards Liane, putting his head close to her ear.

"Wear your white fluffy bunny dress before your mum sees you."

He stepped off, walking in front of Liane, covering her in case her mum sees her. Directing his next line at Liane at a suitable volume so that the other boys couldn't hear, Drew spokes again.

"We don't want such a pretty girl leaving our group now do we?" Drew turned around at Liane and winked.

"Hey Liane... Didn't you say you wanted to buy some Pokéballs at the Pokémart?" Drew pretended.

I shook my head and said, "I'll just say they got dirty. Even the slightest amount of dirt will suffice."
"And I think it's too late to leave." I muttered to Drew, as I eyed Jaques, who was definetly looking forward to that promotion.
Jaques walked in before all of us and conversed with Mariette, one of the maids, and practically ripped his hair out.
"M-m-misstress i-isn't here at the moment." He said sadly "You'll have to come by some other time."
"Oh that's okay!" I said happily "Marietta, could we have some refreshments?"
She jumped, as she probably had never been directly addressed by someone in the actual family, and nodded as she hurried off.
"Well that's that. Nothing to worry about now!" I said cheerfully.
"Weeell well!" I heard a smooth voice carry from the top of the grand staircase.
I cringed.
"Little Lee is traveling with a bunch of boys." My brother Devin sneered.
"Big fat Devin is probably making out with a bunch of man-****s!" I snapped back.
Though my brother was probably the opposite. Thin and in a crisp suit, his chesnut hair was spiked up, and he'd be the last one to even think about something like a kiss.
"Empty come-back." He said calmly, knowing I knew I was faking it.
I huffed and folded my arms.
"Soooo, three boys plus one girl. Bet they all hit on you." He smirked at me.
I ignored the last comment, and said coolly "Ash, Dane, and Drew, meet my stupid brother who's ego doesn't fit in the universe, Devin."

(You guys can control Devin however you want, I based him off my ex. LOL. just don't bash him too much, and make sure he's arrogantly...cool. you know?)

Drew remained expressionless. He eyed the boy coming down the staircase, Devin. The look on Devin didn't seem to be a look that Drew liked. He looked up, staring at him.

"Oh... Does the widdle widdle mwa mwa's boy like mw swister? Oh is the widdle widdle mwa mwa's boy mwad?" Devin said in an annoying high pitched tone.

Drew remained expressionless. Violence wouldn't be needed. He ignored Devin and sat down on a sofa.

Devin crossed his arms. He jumped off the last couple of stairs on the staircase, purposely stamping his feet so that Drew was aware of him.

"I don't like that look of yours." Devin called out. The maids stood back in awe. Devin threw his hand back and was ready to punch Drew. Drew didn't move. The fist was barely an inch away from his face.

"I'm going." Drew said. He picked up his messenger bag and walked near the entrance.

Devin was annoyed. He ran up towards Drew, and this time he kicked him hard in his stomach.

Drew fell down. Laughing at Devin.

"That was weak." Drew said weakly.

(Yikes this is getting rough! Naoko I don't know exactly what you accused him of doing, but I don't think I want to know either! I don't know exactly how to progress this but...)

"Leave Drew alone you idiot!" I shouted running forward.
"I don't think i've ever met a more obnoxious person in my life" I thought angrily.
"Who exactly do you think you are pushing Liane and Drew around!" I shouted at him as he turned around.
He gave me an evil looking glare and came at me.
"Ok tweedy, I leave your lover boy alone...want to offer yourself as a replacement then?" he said smiling evily.
"Uh..." I said backing off.
He lifted his fist into the air as he came closer. I twisted my body and raised my arms to block the attack.
"Go on then do it!" I thought angrily determined not to run away.
Just as he swung his arm at me and expected it to connect with my arms, there was a sudden blinding flash...

I grabbed Devin by his ear and shouted into it, "Excuse me!!!"
He flinched and scowled "What?" He snapped.
"I think you should fix yourself good before I go tell dad what you just did!" I said, digging his face into the marble floor.
"I-think-you-should-fix-yourself-before-I-tell-MOM-what-you're-DOING!!!" He said.
"Oh, but your more important! Mr. I'm-going-to-be-a-CEO-one-day!" I sneered.
"Oh, no no! Miss Bachelorette-who's-going-to-make-dad-rich, your much more important!" He laughed.
I flushed, and scowled at him.
I knew he was referring to the fact that mom had always been going on and on about how I should be more lady-like for her to ever find me a 'rich' husband.
'That's just how wealthy families go' She said over and over.
"Same to you Devin." I said regaining my cool "Now, why don't we take a little experiment shall we?"
He looked utterly confused.
"I've been waiting for this moment ever since you smeared mom's lipstick all over my cloths." I said, smiling evilly.
"What. Did. You. Do." He asked threateningly.
