How do you get people to your site?

I have a site. But How to I get people to go to it? I have joined search engines, but it isn't woking. Any one here have a site that has lots of veiwers that can give me any suggestoins?

It's not like there's one big trick to getting visitors. You just need to have something to offer on your site and you need to tell people about it.

Get loads of content, then submit your sites to search engines. Although, if there are links to it, the spiders should pick it up after a while so just get loads of content so there will be something in the search engine indexes for the search engine to rank when there are searches.

I have a gallery and a blog. I think those are the two bigest pats of the site. I was planning to upload some movies... But I can't do that till after I flim the movie. Would it be spaming if after the movie was done to tell people about it? Its kinda pokemon related. Its going to be a movie about Orenji and Deiji from Oranjie's quest which is a doujinshi manga. Would that be spamming? If not, think that would help people get to the site?

The galley isn't really indexable content so search engines won't pick it up.

You can make your site popular by adding some originality to it. If the type of site you want to do has been taken many times (like a pokemon site) then add something to it that the other sites don't have.

Humm.. I get people going to your site every day, so y'might want to just find some affiliates, Dei-chan. Then again, my site doesn't get a lot of traffic either. x.x
