Post about your favorite Magic the Gathering combos here. My favorite is this 1.

Cards needed
-Mirari
-A Moments Peace

-Notes about this combo:
Yah, pretty much the Wake decks main combo! You can buy the Wake deck at a store in the Magic the Gathering WORLDS BERLIN AGUST 2003 world championship deck all though all the cards in it are illegal in the tournament (The exact reason I built the actual deck XD)

-Combo:
Use A Moments Peace at the end of your turn to make it so your opponent can't attack then make a copy with Mirari *huzaa* XD.

Keldon Firebombers + Terravore

Keldon Firebombers 3RR 3/3
When Keldon Firebombers comes into play, each player sacrifices all lands he or she controls except for three(just enuf to summon Terravore on the same turn)

Terravore 1GG */*
Trample Terravore`s power and toughness are each equal to the number of land cards in all graveyards.

Play KF, then Terravore...this combo will devastate their lands and also give u a powerfull creature with trample...Play wrath of god before this to clear their field...also, if u haven't played a land yet, play a mountain and use fever charm to give it haste...thats y i specialize in making mountain-forest decks ;)

ULTAMATE COMBO!!!!!
play a lot of slivers and have A LOT of counters for those "can't be regenerated" cards :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Add Black Lotus for 1st turn kill.

Ishron Sceptor + Moment's Peace/Holy Day: the prevent combat damage every turn combo. :P
Ishron Sceptor + Boomerang: 1 bounce per turn
Ishron Sceptor + Orim's Chant: same as holy day thing, but you can pay kicker to hurt more
Ishron Sceptor + Metamorphosis: 0 card drawing for opponent
Ishron Sceptor + Swords to Plowshare: Insane creature removal
Ishron Sceptor + any other instant costing 2 or less: insanely cheap

Panoptic Mirror + any of the wishes imprinted: get an extra card of your choice EVERY turn
Myocosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge + Fountain watch: Everything you have is indestructable and can't be target of spells or abilities
Memnarch + 4UUU mana: take target permanent
Astral Slide + Cartographer + a cyclable land: draw 2 cards a turn
Darksteel Reactor + Dismantle: double charge counters on Reactor
SpellBinder + imprint Savage Beating + getting equipped creature through: infinte combat phase
Intruder Alarm + token generator (creature) + enough elves to make the token: infinte tokens
Eater of Days + Stifle: 9/8 flying trample for 4 without drawback
Sword of Kaldra + Viridian long bow + creature equipped with them: Creature has tap: destory target creature with toughness of 1. Tap: remove target creature with toughness of 2 or greater from the game
Visera + Soul Collector equipped with Viridian Longbow: Tap both: Take target creature without protection from black
Intruder alarm + 7 birds + 2 Keeper of Nine Gales: bounce all permanents without protection from blue your opponent controls

That's a lot...I like combos. Feel free to share them. :P

p.s. I usually go into the mini-tournament by my house and you can bet cards and stuff so putting in my black lotus is illegal =/.

I actually posted this thread in attamps to recover the combo I forgot in the onsaughlot booster. If you know the cards needed it would be a great help

effect- Bassicly it creates infinate tokens O_O.

anyone tried dominate/radiate combo or become victom to it?...takes control of ALL the opponent's creatures except for those that cant be affected by spells or abilities...thats if u pay enuf for X and if u have enuf mana

Dominate X1UU Instant
Gain control of target creature with converted mana cost X or less. (This spell’s effect doesn’t end at end of turn.)

Radiate 3RR Instant
Choose target instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single permanent or player. For each other permanent or player that spell could target, put a copy of the spell onto the stack. Each copy targets a different one of those permanets and players.

I know of two from onslaught:

Intruder Alarm + 4 elves (mana producers) + Centaur Glade = infinite 3/3 centaur tokens
Intruder Alarm + 4 Elves + Alphetto Alchemist + Riptide Replicator = infinite X/X X colour, X type tokens (depends on replicator)

1 from Mirrodin:

Intruder Alarm + 2 elves (mana producers) + Nuisance Engine + Alphetto Alchemist = infinite 0/1 artifact tokens (insert Broodstar)

Agrevated Assault + 5 mana producers + anything to attack with = infinte combat phases, infinite attacks.

Oh and extended Favourite:
Tinker + any artifact = search for myr incubator for kill on next turn.

Unholy Grotto + any zombie + anything to sac the zombie with + 1 mana = never deck out

And just for fun, a REALLY long combo:

Soul Catcher's Aerie + Spawning Pit + 2 Artificial Evolution + token generator (e.g. nuisance engine) = a heck of a lot of free +1/+1 on your birds...I mean the tokens.

Virus, nice combo there. :P

*one of the cheapest and prob illegal/rarest combos in the game*
Needed:
2 cooperations
1 Akroma
1 Phage
1 Wrath of God

um...do i really need to tell u what phage, akroma, and wrath of god do?

Cooperation 2W Enchant Creature
Target creature gains banding...i know its really old (ice age old)

1. play wrath of god
2. Play akroma & phage
3. enchant creatures
4. band them
5. u dont really have to use wrath of god if there's not a total # of creatures on their field=9/9 but wht the heck

I know of two from onslaught:

Oh yeah. I have one more for the road:

Intruder Alarm + Voice of the Woods + 4 other elves = inifnite 7/7 trample elemental tokens.

Funniest combo:
Look at me! I'm the DCI! + Panoptic Mirror = ban target card every turn! :P
Either that or BFM...

I'm now running a Blue deck from Dark Steel (Transference), I found some cheap and easy ways to survive creatures that destroys Artifact reatures and pump up my Rust Elemental without losing a single monster.

Summon and Arcbound creature, when you have enough for 5 play Lifeline. Wait it out a bit till you have enough for 4, then summon the Rust Elemental. On your next upkeep phase, sacrafice the Arcbound and transfer its counters to Rust. Attack, then because of Lifeline your Arcbound comes back at the end of your turn so you can keep eating it and powering up, until its too late for your opponent.

So far I only know know that if Lifeline is destroyed then the whole combo is messed up, then I'll have to keep eating other creatures.

Transference decks are insane currently, and the rares prove it. I'm thinking the new arcbound stuff will be at least a nice addition to the environment. Besides, Arcbound crushers and reclaimers are overly broken. I still don't recommend on using rust elemental tho. It's hard to get the combo out with lifeline IMO. The ravager might be a better choice for this, I think.

Aside from that, may you never see a wrath of god! :P

Rust is easy to use if you have the right cards and strategy, I would never summon it without another artifact lol. Thats like suicide =P. Today I screwed alot of people who play magic at my school, 5 turns was all I needed to pwn then one-by-one.

I guess. It's not my type, but is yours, I see. I'll stick to slide and clerics (and affinity). Those seems to actually do something in my school lol.

This combo might interest the arcbound players:

Crystal Shard + any artifact creature (I prefer Ornithopter) + Arcbound crusher = continuously pumping the crusher into mythic proportions that cannot basically die (and if it does, another takes its place!).

Or just the old fashioned Tooth and Nail (with entwine) + Plantinum Angel + Darksteel Colossus = ouch. :P

yes 11/11 indestructable+trample=ouch!
how bout adding Darksteel Forge to that and make all artifacts indestructable :)
that includes artifact creatures of course...

If you want evil, this is the combo:

Mycosynth Lattice + Fountain Watch + Darsteel Forge: Unkillable everything you put into play. Just watch out for molder slugs (which you will handily SHATTER!). What this does is basically make fountain Watch an artifact (gasp! Artifacts and enchantmenst can't be target!). And then make it indestructable!!! Wrath? nothing happened. Armageddon, your lands only. Plow under? My lands can't be target. Shatter Storm? Nope. Only thing is evacuation and then shatterstorm that worries this.

Next combo:

Fangren Firstborn + Nuisance Engine: 0/1 pest tokens? They will ALL GROW!!! SUPER TOKEN MASS ATTACK!!! :P

Me? I'm a blue mage (tokens are illusionary type creatures, considering that they DIE when they die), what'd you expect? :P

Day of Dragons? SWEET!
Nuisance Engine? NICE!
Centaur Glades? MORE!
Voice of the Woods? It screams "I AM CHEAP!"
Raise the Alarm? hehe

Also, tokens are the only ways to use Intruder Alarm infinitely.

I found this site on google. Hey there heres some combos I thought Id send in:

Mana Echoes + Pentavus + Blaze = infinite death
Wirewood Channeller + Pemmin's Aura = Infinite mana then kill em with a viridian longbow on that provided that there is another elf in play.


Heres my fav combo, its tricky but ill explain:
Daru Spiritualist
Another Cleric(can be the spiritualist also)
Lightning Greaves
Cleric Land(the special one from ONS which has 2 options to sac clerics, either gain life equal to toughness or target player loses life equal to power)
Unspeakable Symbol

Now u get 2 clerics out, at least 1 of em has to be daru spiritualist. Now get out the greaves and start equipping infinite times. Now all ur clerics on the field are +0/+infinite, now how does this help? Well sac one of the clerics using the cleric land to gain life equal to its toughness. so now u got infinite life, what will u do? Use unspeakable symbol to pump up ur crits and kill em or just use it to pump up a cleric and sac it to make em lose life equal to toughness. Beware of False Cure decks heh, u can go from infinite life to - infinite life.

Zombie/cleric. That is an interesting blend. That combo is pretty sweet btw LankanProdigy. I like tokens!!!!!!!!!! cheap moster to overwhelm your opponents mwahahahaha lol.

Bleh, just makes it so Atogatog has protection from cards of it colors. Good thing the card is one of evey color XD. (INVINCABILITY!)

Oh, and did I say the combo:
Transcendence + Sulfuric Vortex? Anyway, you can't die from life loss.
Survival of the Fittest + (the goblin legend, forgot his name...something like shebob or something. from Exodus I believe) = pay 1 mana, search for one creature...continuously!!!

well...here was a reckless combo my friend mentioned...
Mycosynth Lattice + Furnace Dragon via hand = kill everything!!! MASS DESTRUCTION!!!!!...does that destroy furnace dragon too?

Yes it does. The status says that you must remove all artifacts from the game. since dragon is immediately an artifact, it gets removed by its own effect. :P

Yeah. It's the same idea as leveler.

But the real crazy combo is:

Final Fortune + Ischron Scepter + Platinum Angel = infinite turns, but not for hte weak at heart.

Time Walk/Time Warp(either works) + Panoptic Mirror = infinite turns XD
i dunno if this will work but:
Moonlit Wake + Fanatical Devotion + some creature = infinite life
Edit:
Dueling Grounds + Phyrexian Colossus + Serra's Embrace = 10 direct damage per turn without losing 8 life

Day of the Dragons + Gratuitous Violence + a lot of creatures = a bunch of 10/5 flying dragons. Just stay away from those creature type killers in which u will have a handy Demystify in ur hand for...
Also u could combo this combo with one of the intruder alarm combos

Gratuitous Violence + goblin sharpshooter/spikeshot = dangerously dangerous. Not even a combo. :P

Darksteel creature (not brute!!!) + worldslayer + whispersilk cloak = your opponent's dead.

i dont get it...a non-darksteel brute darksteel creature + world slayer to destroy all permanents + unblockable = kill opponent? i just dont get it...

Worldslayer + Darksteel creature (e.g. gargoyle, colossus...that's it) + cloak = everything except for the darksteel guy and the worldslayer (still attached) are wiped from the field, aka you win.

Okay, this is what happens (I'm going to use Darksteel Colossus today):

I play the Colossus, the cloak and the worldslayer
I equip the worldslayer on the colossus
I equip the cloak on the colossus
Now when I can attack, I attack with the colossus. He is unblockable, thus he goes through.
Worldslayer activates, destroying all permanents but worldslayer on the field (including lands, artifacts, enchantments, etc.). Darksteel Colossus is indestructable.
Darksteel colossus now holds the worldslayer without any other permanent to interfere with him. (aka your opponent plays anything, the colossus will blow everything up again...and again...and again, though it takes only 2 turns to win...)

Oh, an infinite mana combo:
Neurok Transmuter + Voltaic Construct + any creature that can tap to make 3 or more mana (requires 1 blue mana to start it up)

It does for creatures, but the worldslayer is all permanents other than itself (like lands, enchantments, artifacts, etc.). But with the mirror, you might as well imprint time stretch on it to win the game...

Infinite mana combo:
3 tangleroot + Auriok Steelshaper + skullclamp (use spawning pit if you have 4 tangleroots) + 2 myr retreiver (1 in graveyard)
Then you can fireball or something...

Traumatize + Haunting Echoes = remove half their library and extras of those cards in the player's deck from the game

Yes we did. It's a pretty cool combo to pull out, I must say.

Proteus Staff + no creatures in deck (use tokens) + Goblin Charbelcher = You win. Unless they have a LOT of life. lol

Death Grasp + Way too many lands + 1 plains+1 swamp = OVERKILL XD
nah too obvious...
normal one for Cabal Patriarch
Cabal Patriarch + 4BB = Remove a creature you control from the game: Target Creature get -4/-4
