Many now do not wander the streets of North America and Europe, because of several battles now, which are not the only threats. Screams are heard from a unknown island east of Canada, almost touching the border of Alaska, uncharted and rumored to be haunted. People say that once you go there, you may never come back and if you do, you are changed forever.
The second rumor however is true. Many have been tricked coming there, only to be captured by a unknown organization. Different things are done to them, often experimenting with them by injecting animal DNA. The people in the organization decided to call the hybrids Antrhos a few years later after they started.
Eventually, the organization were creating more experiments, from element controlling people, to were-wolves, and even just changing genders or/and age. More and more were being tricked into getting to the island. Now the people, weither they were hybrids or not (but they weren't in the organization), were called Anthros. At first (and still) they were not treated well, and often died. They were killed for escaping also.
Just your luck, you plan on going to the island, only to end up captured, and you are experimented on. You then plan to escape the island, though it isn't as easy it as might seem. The organization has put up many defences, from artifical demons, to were-beasts, and the habitat they put you in is blocked by a electric fence. The rp starts when you arive at the island, and the year is 2050 in the rp.
