(Humor) Harry Potter: The Lighter Side

This RP takes place during the events of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but this focuses on whats happening besides the tale of Harry. What about the students simply annoyed with the new security measures? What about the underachievers that care less?

So, this RP is purely humorous, for poking fun/parodying the HP series. You make your own character, and try not interfering with any of the major characters from the book so we don't contradict any continuity here.

Personality: Due to his addiction, he's often careless and light-headed
History: A boy who showed great ability in potion makingat a young age, but he soon became addicted to Felix Felicis and now he luckily excells in all of his hogwarts subjects.
Unique Trait: An addiction to Felix Felicis, he is always finding a chance to swig some of the lucky potion.

Personality: I'm nice to most... I like to read and learn... I'm not like hermone if that's what your thinking... I would rather die than be compared with her!
History: I was happy... so happy... but then everyone started saying Harry Potter this and Harry Potter that and then.... my family's greatness fell into the dust....
Unique Trait: I'm rich and I can buy whatever I want... Its my money and I use it all the time... that is my trait money... and I live in a place where ther are still dragons so... I know how to work with them...
Sample RP: Many years ago... I was happy... but then... my family heard of Harry's success and soon... people didn't need us anymore... it seems that they think, "what do we need witch doctors for... all we have to do is wait for Harry Potter to fix our problems..." It sickens me.... I have been trained in the art of witchcraft and my family was the best... but all this Harry potter busness... It must be stoped...

"Whats with all this paranoia about Death Eaters and such? I mean, they're not that dangerous," said Pat Hoosmook as he gulped a goblet of Felix Felicis.

The terrified First-years that Pat had decided to sit with in his compartment on the Hogwarts express were speechless at this 6th year's apparent ignorance.

Pat started talking again, "I mean, I fought off a Death Eater at my house this summer, and I didn't even have to use my wand! All his spells and curses miraculously missed me! Those Death Eaters were nothing..."

Ira hears the voice of someone he recocnized... "Pat?!" he exclames opening the compartment door, "it is you... good to see you!" He barges in as several of the 5th years take the oportunity to get out of the room, "I've been sending Scarlet to your house... she didn't come back the last time... do you have her with you?"

((OOC: Scarlet is a Phoenix.... I'm rich so...))

"Hmmm, So something did set fire to the tree in my backyard...I thought that chick I found the next day was weird," said Pat.

Ira gasped, but before he coud say anything, Pat pulled a featherless bird out of his pocket. He handed it to him.

Ira said, "Thanks, I was worried about scarlett."

Pat responded, "No problem. Hmmm, we've still got a while before we get to Hogwarts, want to go hex some First years?"

History:Korah comes from an 'almost' pure-blood family. Since there really are no more pure-bloods in the wizarding world anymore (they just cross off the muggles and pretend they don't exist) her family is partial to muggle borns. They will act with courtesy, but it will be awkward and stiff courtesy. This trait she had not taken along with her for the ride, for she thinks that everyone is equal, they all just have different abilities.She despies's her older brother, who works as a translator at the ministry of magic, whom hates muggles with passion, and doesn't bother to hide it. She is very good at astrology, and is usually found drawing out star charts, or otherwise reading in her potions book, looking for interesting potions to mix up. She is terrible at Herbology, because she prefer's not to get dirt on her hands.
Unique Trait:Korah's special trait is that she is very talented with spells. It's very easy for her to learn a new spell, but the only spell she has trouble with is the Patronus charm.
Sample RP:"Here you go Professor Sinistra." I said handing her a rolled up peice of silvery parchment, my favorite parchment to use for star charts.
"Why thank you." She said taking the extra work from me "You can go roam now, but don't go anywhere you not supposed to."
"Right." I nodded.
This security was insane.
You-Know-Who wouldn't really attack this school. No. Everyone was just going crazy, because the 'dark lord' had risen again! This was his school! He wouldn't attack it. I had recently taken an interest in You-Know-Who, determined to learn about him, so I might be even remotely prepared or able to slip away from him at the very least.
I had discovered many things I shouldn't know about him.He was a slytherin of course. Professor Sinistra was by far my favorite teacher, and I knew I was her favorite student, so she would often sign restricted section passes for me, when I would tell her I was searching for astrology books. She was absolutely blinded by her favorism. I stopped in front of the ravenclaw common room, and told the password, 'Kneazle!'
I stepped into the Blue and Gray clad room and sat down on one of the cushiony chairs before the fire.

Pat magically found 5 galleons in his pocket which he used to pay for a large pile of candy. He wouldn't eat it all on this trip, but it would be a while until the first Hogsmeade visit, and he had to keep his stockpile up.

Ira opened up a bag of Berty Bott's Every Flavor Beans. He looked at Pat and said, "Up for the risk?"

"Lets do it."

Taking another drink from his Felix Felicis potion, Pat sat back in his chair, ready for whatever flavor the beans may throw at him. After a half hour, it seemed that Pat could only grab the good beans from the bag. While Pat enjoyed flavors like Chocolate, Strawberry, and Butterscotch; Ira ended up with Spoiled Milk, Dung, and Gasoline flavored beans.

Ira spat out a bean and yelled, "Uggh, that tasted like crap."

"Luck of the draw my friend, luck of the draw."

Ira smiles petting Scarlet, "you know what... Hexing some first years sounds good." he smiles evily, "what do you want to do to them?"
Scarlet cherps and pecks at his fingers, "Umm.. by the way do you have some bird seed on you by anychance?"

Pat rummaged through his pockets. He pulled out a small bag made from cloth. Handing it to Ira, he said, "Lucky me, I just happened to find a bag of premium grade phoenix food, made from Mandragora pellets and sprinkled with a powder ground from Unicorn horn."

"I can't even afford pet food of that quality...how'd you get it?'

"I just found it in my pocket. Now, lets go hex those first-years. We could scare them with my Patronus..."

"What is your patronus?"

"A basilisk..."

"Sweat! Ira says jumping up, Mine's only a scorpion! no fare how did you get a better one.. I'm the one with Dementor's at my house?!" he feed's scarlet the pellets.

"I guess I'm just lucky," said Pat. As he walked out the compartment door he said, "When we get to Hogwarts, I'll show you my new pet."

Pat drew his wand and eyed a compartment full of nervous first-years. He grinned as he slid the door open. He needed a happy thought to make a convincing patronus.

These first years will wet themselves and it will be hilarious...

He aimed his wand tip inside the compartment and yelled, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!"

Ira only watched holding scarlet as the first years screamed at the sight of a giant snake, Ira saw something in the distance, "yo dude we have to get out of here.... Adult!"
Ira covers up Scarlet as the lady with the trolly comes by once more, "hello mam.... good day?"
"yes, very good Ira dear..." she says as she goes by.
"God help me..." ira says watcing her go, "that was to close pat." ira scolds.

Pat laughed, the reactions of the first-years was priceless. Pat slammed the door shut on the compartment with a grin on his face. He turned to Ira and said, "The castle is coming up on the horizon, better change into your robes."

What a great year its been already

Ira changes into his robes silently as Scarlet chirps quietly in her sleep, "I think we sould pretend like we were in here all day." he suggests to Pat, "What do you think, I mean if the 1st years say anything we were in here."

"We call them crazy and attention-desiring, thats what we do," said Pat while slipping on his Slytherin robes.

As the train pulled into the Hogsmeade station, the doors slid open and the voice of that ogre Hagrid flooded the train.

"Firs' years! Firs' years come with me!"

Pat looked at Ira and said, "Up for using the Flipendo spell on the first years?"

Ira smiles, "Lets..." he holds scarlet close to him, "how are we gonna do it? Last time we got in so much trouble...." Ira could remember it well, Hagrid had hit them hard.
((I know its short but I don't have alot fo time...))

(Hmm....I haven't been here for awhile, but all I can say, is, I've suddenly dropped Harry Potter. Have fun RPing, and that Post, was an RP sample. So, technically, it was okay for my character to be in school time.)

"Hmmm, lets sit next to Neville, so we can blame it on him," said Pat while climbing into a carriage next to Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom. They fidgeted when Pat burst into the carriage, they had been victims of his pranks before. Ira sat next to Pat with his wand drawn, ready for action.

The carriage started moving along the hills with an excellent view of the lake below and the first-years crossing it on the magic rowboats. Pat stuck his hand out of the carriage, beforehand taking another drink of Felix Felicis.

"Ready...aim....FLIPENDO!"

Ira smiles, he wasn't to fond of Pat's constant pranks but a good one was a good one, "FLIPENDO!" he shouts alonge with Pat. the light from both their wands made Ira have to close his eyes, so he didn't see what heppend. Scarlet though began to chirp uncontrolably. "Calm down Scarlet..." ira says petting her gently.

The two Flipendo spells knocked an uknowing first-year into the lake, Pat laughed as he saw the kid struggling to swim as the Giant Squid's tentacle grabbed ahold of the child.
