Red Sox are currently beating the heck out of Yanks, 10-1, bottom of the 7th. XD

I have complete faith the Red Sox will partake in the World Series again this year.
I know, I know; Only 3 teams in MLB History have won the World Series twice in a row. But didn't we come back from a 3 game deficit last year in the playoffs? That only happened 4 times in history...we made history once, we can do it again.

They didn't have a choice but to use Wright because they are in the playoffs now. They need Mussina against the Angels.

I dont pick 5th starter because Al Leiter cant throw stikes, neither cant wright, and wang cant handle a big situation like when he chocked against boston on friday

Nice prediction. With how well the Yanks did the second half, and how bad the Bo-Sox choked, I would sadly pick the Yanks from the AL as well. From the NL, the Cards are clearly the strongest team, so as long as they don't fall apart like they did in the WS last year, they should be fine. I think this is the Cards year to do it. Cards over Yanks in 6 ;)

Stros could make it too..but I don't know its going to be tough between the stros and cards. sox have no pitching, no bullpen...eventaully their offense will come up short.

RJ has a 3.79 ERA.
Mike Mussina is coming off an elbow injury
Chacon as a yank is 8-2 with a 2.85 ERA
Aaron Small is 10-0 with a 3.25 ERA
Wang is amazing, a rookie, and would be THE ACE of the red sox.

clement, miller, schilling, arroyo---all have mid 4 high 5 ERA and all will get shelled.

two words: CLEVELAND SUX!!!!! I can make fun of the Indians cuz i live about 1 hour from cleveland and i'm a big fan. I'm so mad that they blew their chance at getting into the playoffs.... again!!! If Arthur Rhodes hadn't gotten hurt, i bet that we'd have a better chance at winning the wildcard. What makes me even madder is that we blew a year of good pitching. We're likely to lose Arthur Rhodes and Kevin Milwood to free agency, maybe even Scott Sauerbeck. It's now been 56 years since the Tribe won a world series. We'll probably end up being the BoSox before last year. My World Series prediction: Boston vs. San Diego. I luv rooting 4 underdog teams like San Diego.

Ninetales, I hate to disagree with you, but Boston's gonna get beat by the White Sox. During this season, the White Sox were a tougher team than last year. So, I expect Chicago to beat them.

And St. Louis will probably sweep San Diego, since the Padres were under .500 for most of the year.
