Tell about your experiences at Pokemon Rocks America from any year(2005, 2004, 2003)! Here's mine:

I got to go to Pokemon Rocks Dallas, and it was neat. As soon as a got in the line to get in Pokemon Rocks Dallas, I met some new people(teenaged people), and Pokecommunity member Kayleigh. I noticed them battling, and I wanted to battle with one of them(there was like 3 of them). I used an Alakazam, Houndoom, and a Salamence the entire time. So I did a Lv50(tournament rules, 3on3) wireless battle with one of them. He used a Scizor, Jynx, and a Mr. Mime. I won, but only since my Salamence's Return went critical on the opponent's Scizor.

As soon as I went in, I went to the Video Game Challenge area(psst... I was the first one there at the Video Game Challenge area). And I waited for the first 8 people to sit down in the Lv50 area. As soon as everyone sat down, the staff said for everyone to begin battling. The first trainer I battled was very tough, and had a Salamence, and a Blissey. I lost to that person, but later found out he was using Skarmory too(Skarmbliss... uh oh). So I re-entered the level 50 challenge, and made it up to the finals, but lost. I then re-entered the level 50 challenge again, and this time, there was a lot of young kids! I made it to the finals and won! For winning, I also got a Pokemon Master Trainer board game! So they ask for my name and hometown, so it can be entered to be drawn for the Battle on the Big Screen. So then I get in line for the Mystic Ticket and download it. Later, the first drawing for the Battle on the Big Screen begins. My name wasn't chosen(bummer...), though. And one more time, I enter the level 50 Video Game Challenge. I lose in the first round to a very competitive battler, though. And then I leave to go get lunch and go home(I couldn't hang around for the second Battle on the Big Screen drawing, sadly. I wonder if my name was drawn...).

EDIT; Even though the PRA2005 Tour is not done as of 10-8-05, I have posted this for people who have been to a Pokemon Rocks event that has happened so far.

Hey! I was also at the Dallas convention, and I remember meeting you in line! I'm glad that you made this thread, because I would have never remembered your username. XD It'll be fun getting to talk to you again!

Anyway, I'll go ahead and write about how my day at the convention went. I had already been to one before this, the one in Houston in 2003, so I thought I knew what to expect this time. I really ended up being blown away by all of the new attractions and things! Even though the last one was wonderful, I immediately noticed that this one was much more organized, and that there was more room for it all. (The one in Houston was in a large parking lot--This one was inside of a nice building, with restrooms and even a little deli.)

I got there with my family a little early, so I stood in line for around 30 minutes or so. There I ended up meeting the member here, Shining Lericon! That was very neat because I had never met another member from this site before--I almost didn't know what to say, so I hope I didn't come off as rude! (I'm shy... blah.) Anyway, he was really friendly and seemed to know a lot more about the games than I do!

A little later on, the doors finally opened and so we finally got to go inside! There were all kinds of games and fun things to do, as well as a TCG area, Pokmon store, video game places, etc. I basically went crazy running around with my brother doing all of the different things! I made sure at first that I got the Mystic Ticket for my game, and then after that I set off to check out every inch of the building. I loved the games, and it was nice because everyone could go through the lines and play them as many times as they wanted. The prizes were nice, too--I couldn't believe how generous they were with them! All of the staff members and people there were so friendly, which made the experience even better. You could tell they weren't just there to try and sell you stuff and make money. My brothers, mom, and I all left with like 10 full bags of FREE stuff! They just gave so much away, so it was paradise for a Pokmon fan! My brother even won a LeafGreen game for being one of the 3 finalists for the Pikachu's Freeze Dance game!

I won't go into detail about much more, but I will say that if anyone ever has a chance to go to one, then I really recommend them! They are so much fun to go to, and yes, I even saw other people around my age there, lol. I didn't feel embarrassed about being there at all... It's a nice environment to be in!

So, overall, I had a GREAT time! I was there before it started, and left after it was over with, and I can honestly say that the conventions just keep getting better!
