No Metroid Dread

You may have heard of Metroid Dread, a Metroid game for the DS. It was rumored to be a sidescroller like the classics. Well, it's been canceled, so we're stuck with Hunters. Hopefully they'll release a new Metroid sidescroller soon.

They had better, the Metroid series seems to be going somewhat downhill. Hunters is awful, and Pinball?! What are Nintendo thinking?! A new Prime game or a side-scrolling game needs to bring the series back. At least, thats what I think...

Hunters is alot like Prime. But...why? Why did Metroid Dread have to be cancelled? So many nice titles were on their way for the DS...and now one of them I was anticipating the most has been cancelled...

i heard about that and i think it was for the best. after all the ds was supposed to be about all new 3d and touch screen games not bringing back the already dead side-scrollers.

no! that's like saying there's no point for the other sonic game!!!(at least, I think another sonic SIDE-SCROLLER game came out for the DS...in 3d)
