In Diamond and Pearl. I think you should use the battle system like they do in the episodes. But you get to use the DS microphone. So you could talk into the microphone and your pokemon would listen to you. You could tell them to aim an attack exactly were you want. Now that would be cool.

Actually, that's a great idea! Like Nintendogs where you have to train them to sit and lie down, that would be awesome!

You know what else would be cool, allowing your Pokemon out of there Pokeballs when there not in battle, so you can pet them and stuf like Nintendogs. Or you could buy them toys and stuff, like a fire-proof ball or something for fire Pokemon. Oh, and thanks for the comment.

That would make the game WAYYYYYY too much like the anime.

That is a very cool idea... but it would make the game quite hard and loud... still, i'd play it!

Yeah the game would be louder, and would be kind of hard to take the DS to other places. It would work more for like the nintendo revolution.

Yeah, it probably would work better for Revolution, but it would be fun to play it like that on your DS. With the Revolution there's no close up microphone, besides, we don't even know that there will be a microphone for the Revolution. Maybe they'll make for both Revolution and DS.

or you can use the ds in conjunction with the revolution...
seeing as how both have wi/fi and blue tooth..

So? That is what I'd like. I mean, the regular Pokemon Battles are to boring, if Nintendo did it like this, it would be way more exiting!

it would be good, but i p[lay my DS in school, during lessons, wouldent i look like the class clown screaming fireblast randomly in the middle of english, or sweet kiss during a math lesson ^_^

Um, I like the voice recognition feature, but isn't DS's microphone fairly bad?
I mean, it's only used to blow into, like in Warioware Touched and Feel the Magic XX/XY...

Nintendogs kinda makes extensive use of the puppy control and calls you make.
But I disagree with such a system involving the microphone. Game Freak would have to seriously compromise if they implement such a system, because voice recognition requires you to articulate exactly what you command, and it would have to record it and keep it in memory. I have my doubts the games would have enough RAM in its writable area to store save data, extra features AND the voice recognition feature.

You shouldn't even be playing it anyway. >>
It may or may not. Because think about it, your having a multiplayer with your friend.
You: Mew, Hydro Pump!
Friend: Torkoal, Overheat!
Mew used Overheat!
Not very affective.
Torkoal used Overheat!
Critical hit!
Mew fainted!
The voice thing may get screwed with. I'm sure it's quite easy to bypass. >>

I think thats over doing it a little, I mean why mess with something if it's already great.
Think about it, it sounds good now but it'll be different when you actually play it.

Batesymon makes a good point. The whole voice thing probably wouldn't go over so well in actuality.

Even if the voice idea should fail to be good, letting your Pokemon outside their Pokeballs would be a nice addition as Raichuman said. It would add more interaction to the game. Also it would be fun to play with your Pokemon. Maybe even getting to feed them. (But not needed as that may cause some troubles..)

Don't forget, the DS has a nice wireless range, and besides you could change the microphone sensitivity, like in Nintendogs.

Either way, it's a Nintendo product, usually they're quite easy to bypass. >> There's no way of completely eliminating that.
Offtopic: BTW, not only is the Rom site in your sig against the rules, it's also dead.

But it's Nintendo so it probably won't. >>
