Post recount

According to this post --> http://pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=1321316&postcount=30 (made months ago), the post recount should already have happened.
But I didn't see my other account's postcount decrease, so I guess it hasn't been done yet.

I'm just wondering: Are you going to do it or not?

Maybe admin just thought of keeping it b/c less people are really obsessing over it. Actually, I don't get the point of decreasing post count o.o What's next, Join Date?

When you make a new post, no one just looks at your post count...if you make a stupid post, they're not going to be stupid. They're going to say 'omg, all of those posts must have been spam o.o' not 'wow, they sure must post good' I like post count. I don't see anything wrong with it; or why it should be decreased o.o

I didn't talk about removing postcount >__<

Some time ago, the admins decided to turn off the post count in the "Member clubs" forum, but it didn't affect anybody's postcount (the posts the members have made in past there shouldn't count anymore, so their postcount should have dropped), since vBulletin doesn't recount the user's posts automatically.
There is and option for this in the AdminCP, to update it.
The staff said, they were going to do it soon (look at the post I linked you to), but they didn't.
It still hasn't been done.

Well, what would benefit from lower postcount? o.o No one's really complaining about it or anything...I didn't even know that someone said there was going to be a postcount drop XP Again, maybe admin just changed thier mind...i dunno.

We can all foresee the chain effect of some members getting really ticked off over losing a few posts. It's happened in the past. >.>;

To show the true post count everyone has. Post count in FanClubs used to be on so posts got added. But when we turned it off all them posts before were still there. So the recount is to get everything back to normal.

Ah, so does this meen the posts will just be slightly modified? =D in that case I'm in . And no wonder why I whent from 860 to 666 O_O EVILEH! XD only kidding.. Anyway thanks for asking that question , I was just about to ask the same thing earlier but I never got around to it with the artstravaganza contests. Well unless we turn off post count in another spammy forum then no on is really going to lose all that much. I mean the only time you'll lose some after a recount is threads moved to one of them forums. So before anyone starts looking for a big drop on post count don't, it's not going to happen (unless another forum's post count is turned off).
