it dosent need centering...if you finish a pokemon fight you always see them to the right of the screen. You can see its the end of the fight because lapras is still out and the fact that its saying Ouch i n the textbox.

PokemonMaster2006 is quite a nuisence...he kinda ruined it for the people that didn't want to see the badges. Theres the badge that lets you surf (when you get lapras)...Im starting to think about that 6th badge that lets you fly...

the 5th badge is a gold lapras, it allows you to use surf, the other badges allows you to use other abilities, but for enter in the orange league you only will need the first 4 (Mikan, Navel, Trovita & Kumquat) this is more developed in the old thread (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=40484).

hey, i didnt say i wouldnt translate the game, the english translation of the first beta dont come out cause the person who was translating it left the work at half, he didnt finish it, so, now, I keep working in the 2nd beta, probably, I'll translate the beta by myself, and ill release the 2 versions simultaneously, eventhough by this way the spanish beta release´s date will be put off soem weeks

I’ve been watching the Orange island episodes recently and have noticed loads. Like are you going to have that butch and Cassidy part when they hypnotise pokemon, if so I’ll make some pokemon over worlds for you. I couldn’t remember the episode with Danny and the sea ruby badge, now I know why you’re making a sled! Are you going to make it so he gives you it? Also is there going to be a GS ball part to the story?


EDIT: I've just remembered what are you going to do aobut the league?
they don't have elite four on the cartoon. I see you got the 8 gyms into 4 and some extra stuff but what will you do to the league.
I reckon you should do one feild and you fight drakes first 3 then after the match you could go into a room then go back out into a different feild. it will be easy to do i reckon but so the matchs arnt too easy drakes opkemon could be high level.

this is an error which I corrected but in this beta isnt it yet becuase i haven realized... it is caused because I use a '0' and not a 'C' in that entrance, then the entrance connect with the top ('14')

I always check the patchs before releasing it, if you cant make it run, tell me that with a PM, by the way, only one out of your three words is spanish, chao is used in spanish but is an italian word ('ciao') and stuff is an english word lol

Wow Sergio, nice hack!
I noticed an a couple of glitches though,
When you are about to enter a building a pigeot icon comes up,
and in the place where you have to fight the wingull, the advice giver/weirdo in every gym says that they use fighting pokemon when they clearly dont.
This is the best hack so far, keep up the good work!

Assasinator, I have read the whole thread but i couldnt find the bit about where he replied to the pidgeot, so i didnt think he noticed anyone talking about it, so try using a more friendlier approach next time and use language like that on the dredevo whos noticed it is in spanish for the 60th time already.

So in saying that don't focus too much on translating it - instead focus on completing the hack and getting rid of the bugs first. Then you should translate it.

Yes I know most people here can't speak spanish (including myself) but that didn't stop many of them playing and enjoying your hack.

So really everyone - what would you prefer? An awesomely made game based on the Orange Islands series (which I think is everyone's dream to occur), or some bug filled half-assed game which is a result of being Sergio pressured into sharing his devotion between making the hack and translating it.

May i just say some things i wold like to be improved in the game?

For example, i think it was better that the badges should appear in the game in order.
Like, when i got "lapras badge", it should pe placed in #1, not 5
Or, it could be in #5, but the Official Orange badges: The sissiy's badge should be #1, not 3.

About the map, try to change it, so it doesn't look to hoennish.

And the Cristal Onix... he is made from rock or ice? It's that in the game he sounds like a rock pokémon (i used a water atack on him and he fainted just like that...)... can't you change that type into ice?

And to finish... (i now that i'm being too critical... LOL) if you are using the Orange Islands, and if you want to stick to the Tv series, I think that hoenn pokémons shouldn't appear in the game: just kanto's and johto's pokémon... but since it's your game... i am just saying my opinions.

And about the translation, if you need anything sergio, just tell me okay? it's in the private message i sent you.

You have to read the rules please:
No Beta or Status requests.
Do not ask for Status of the Hacks (like release dates, how many % of the Hack are done, etc.) or request Betas of the Hacks. It is annoying and won't help anyone. The hack makers will release a Beta/Update when they think it is time to do so.
It is really annoying...
And its a norm of comity speak in a way that all could understand...

Ok sergio... i understand. But then i have just to small questions:

1 - The map stiil looks like hoenn.... can't you make a map totally different of the game? like Hiccup did on EmberOrange?

2 - I didn't understand your explanation about the badges... can you please explain me better? From what i understood... i think it's no problem to put the Coral Eye badge in the first place, when releasing the beta, since in the beta 2 everybody will have cut (i think...)

3 - Can't you make an Orange game but only with Kanto and Johto?

Again.. it's just my opinion.

However, like i've said... you are doing a great job when doing an game about the Orange Islands... it is very difficult to find a game that has only the Orange League and you are finnaly doing it! And it doesn't sound like a hack rom!!!! looks like it's original...

I must say that the only problem for me it is to have Hoeen pokémon in the game... but if you prefer that way... i can't complain you... afterall... it's your game!

1: i agree a little with you pokemaniaco tho the map doesnt look so close as hoenn i needed a map next to this pic to see the resemblance besides he says the map isnt finish yet

2: What he means is when he puts the coral eye badge on the first spot people can use cut and try to find the cut hm which isn't in the game so he does this to let people know hm can't be used in this beta.

3: i think with hoenn pokemon also in this game it brings a new way of choosing the right pokemon against the gym leaders and lets people create theire favorite team but thats just the way you like it more (having it like the series or bring a slight difference)

Get Lapras to level twelve. It'll then learn surf. Then you can surf around a bit, when you get to Island Mikan you have to go through the maze and swim a bit and then once your out and your at the tree that needs to be cut, you go left and up into the grove, up again and you should find the way from there.

There is an English version, silly! :P On the site u download from, underneath Pokemon Naranja, there's a box titled Pokemon Orange with a download link. It's the English translation, with a couple parts still in Spanish (but not too much).
In the latest English update, I noticed the "[TRAINER] would like to battle!" message is still in Spanish. x_x Serg!o, plz fix that.

Bouysel: yes, the beta ends after you beat that gym (the gym leader character tells you this), however, there are many items and other things to look for after doing so. and yes, that blastoise is a killer, but i managed to beat it with cacturne at level 23. you can catch a cacturne on one of those sandy islands. it's the perfect pokemon for this game because it knows ingrain, leaf seed and absorb. it wasn't that hard to raise because i sorta neglected my lapras and pikachu, and instead raised it and breloom (you should get breloom too). have you ran into those trainers with level 27 pokemon? these two will help with that.

SupaCuz: you get in through the trees and enter the forest. yah it's not very specific of where to enter, but you should look for an entrance-like dip in the total bunch of trees.

Sergio: one thing i found is when you go in the gym, that guy that cheers you on talks about the fighting gym leader in ruby rather about the orange island leader.

If you're in that Surfing area, you'll need to get up to the top of the map, then go down a bit and there's dark water you can't surf on. Somewhere in the right side of the dark area, there's a thin path of reg. water and a secluded circle. You can 'hop' over the dark water between the thin path and the dot, and you should warp back to the gym and battle the leader.

Best hack ever! I really can't wait for Beta two, better still, the full version.

In reply to the above: Return to the main gym outside, she should be standing there, talk to her, and she'll fight you.

A major bug: If you try to leave the gym to head to the pokemon center while Sissy is waiting to battle you, she will challenge you to another wave ride, then dissappear permenantly.

Also, Ruin Maniac Foster is in the game in at least two different locations.

In reply to the above: Return to the main gym outside, she should be standing there, talk to her, and she'll fight you.

A major bug: If you try to leave the gym to head to the pokemon center while Sissy is waiting to battle you, she will challenge you to another wave ride, then dissappear permenantly.

Also, Ruin Maniac Foster is in the game in at least two different locations.

I'm habing a few problems. In the town thats blue I cant go into the building. I Surf east and cant get to anywere from there. Theres a blob blocking the intrence to the port of something I cant remember the second towns name. I cant go east from Valencia. I went to Ives lab and it redid the brock thing. Somewhere in the cave is a fake wall and when you step on the tile of that certain fake wall the character jumps like it was a ledge and then you have 2 entrances 1 of them leads to onix and the other outside

Wow, I just got here, and already it seems this thread hasn't been touched in a while.

This hack is my favorite of all time!!!!!

I just found out that in the Onix Cave:

-All the overworld objects from the original map used for this cave, are stuck in this one wall. I was just randomly talking to walls in there, hoping that one would do anything to get me to the crystal onix, and I found myself battling some random trainer I remember from Ruby.

-There were also two rocks that could be Rock Smashed, which leads me to my ultimate question:

"Where can I get Rock Smash?"
