is it possible to use the AR that has codes for ruby/sapphire and use different codes on your fr/lg?

I don't really understand your wuestion, but yes you can use AR on R/S/E, and FR/LG.

ok sorry let me rephrase this. i have the ar version where it shows kyogre and groudon on the front cover. it has exclusive codes for ruby/sapphire but none for lg/fr. i was wondering if i could download codes onto my ar for fr/lg or if i would have to get a newer version.

you you can, but you'll have to type in all the code manually and also input in master codes for them. I;ve done it with mine which has FR/LG/R/S code, but put in manual Emerald codes to go to Worlds Edge Island.

You don't have to necessarily enter in the codes manually.

If your AR came with a USB cable, you can connect your AR to your PC and download the codes right on to your AR.
