View Full Version : A question for people who use GIMP.

I downloaded the free GIMP image editor today in hopes of making some better bitmap and gif images. Upon installation, I decided I didn't like the interface and decided to uninstall it. Now, I cannot open any of my files that were in bitmap and gif format. I'm terribly annoyed and I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the official site and it was no help at all... :tired:
PS: I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forums. It just seemed like the best place to post this.

well this doesn't belong here but meh.
Right click on the file do. Open with. Then find paint etc. then do always open with this programe etc

That's the problem. For the bitmap and gif pics, the "open with..." option is gone.

you need examples if this a sprite request thread if not then this should be moved.

Sorry, you're not allowed to post threads to ask questions. Please post in the relevant general discussion thread (Spriters' Lounge, Art Discussion etc) instead of posting a separate thread for it.
