Pokemon Sphene Titanite

The people who know me here know that until now I was a sphere person, well... guess what? I'm gonna try my luck in RPG Maker XP :P

My game in RPG Maker XP is gonna be called Pokemon Sphene Titanite, that's a gem by the way (I'll make an intro screen with a sprite of it :) )

So far I mapped the first town, I'm still putting the graphics together and making some of my own, etc, etc
Soon I'll start learning Ruby and hopefully I'll bring some in-game screenshots :)

No, I will post a short story then tomorrow I post somethng longer. You can be a boy or a girl, you start on that town I just showed you, it is locted in a new region called Ekuamor which has a lot of different types of environments, when you start the game you get your pokemon but soon you find out that the professor that gave you your pokemon is involved in a conspiracy to destroy the world. You also find out there's something different with your pokemon, but I'll save that surprise for later :) (I'll have a more detailed story tomorrow)

Interesting. So can you go to the old regions? Johto, Kanto, or Hoenn? Doubt Hoenn seeing as it was the worst region in my opinion.

yes, I'll put those sooner or later, as well as orange islands, etc, etc but first you have to finish your region and then I have to figure out an interesting plot so that it doesn't get boring :)

Cool. So do you have a big map of your region? If you need some help with spriting I can help. I'm doing a project too. I'v stopped doing it on XP to develop my sprites though.

It really looks nice, but you should take off the Pkmn League thing on your first Town. What is the Desert ruin from emerald doing here? Is it a place or just ruins?

the ruins is actually an ancient place next to the beach where something important will happen later in the game, the pokemon league thing it's because right after you pass route 1 you have like 2 paths, one takes you to the pokeleague and the other to the next city ut of course you won't be able to go to the pokeleague without having all badges.

On the topic of Ruby. Do you know any tutorials to learn Ruby? I'm confused whenever I try to read things. I don't know where to start.

The first town and route have a "fresh" look......Way diferent from the oficial pokémon games, so, it's very nice o.o coz we're all sick of the same-old graphics :X can't wait for more screenshots ^^ o/*

she'S new year so forgive her, I'm not working on this anymore, all my efforts are going to pokemon chromatite, I might do this oen when I finish it.
