Yeah once they were counting to 17 and 18.They finally get it right in Phenac city.
Anyways,Nintendo needs to think up better names. I hope the names in Diamond and Pearl are't this wierd.

Yeah. Why won't they use the names of the Japanese characters instead of changing them for the US version. Also, who names their kid Snattle of Lovrina?

The same people that name them Gorigan and call old men Curmudgeons, then run out of titles and call people Casual Guys.

Maybe they don't even need to use titles. They could just give them regular names like Frank and Joe. Your charater never gets a title. Maybe I wanna be Dragon Trainer Travis in my game. I always thought the titles were silly. Especially when they came up with thing like Fun Old Man Crom and Chaser Lilam.

Actually in the orginal Colosseum you guy got a title (well it was when you faced "Fake Hero Feign", but that was after on the listing on Shadow Pokemon) it was "Shady Guy <you name here>..."

Detective Conan?

Anyway, yeah. I still think "Ertlig" is the worst name yet. Maybe we should make a pool? I mean poll. But the pool would be a nice thing too! :P

Nintendo should come up with regular names... Anyway, some names in Colusseum have actually meaning, like Venus for example.+

Some of the names are designed to suggest something. Snattle sounds like snitch, which is some usually the nerdy stuckup brats in school do. And doesn't he seem like that? Lovrina is obvious, she's pink and happy go lucky and airheaded, almost like she's in love and isn't focusing on her job. PLus she used lovely pokemon, some of which I don't doubt had the ability to make the opponent's pokemon fall in love. I just always killed her too fast for her to use those abilities. XD Some names are supposed to suggest something, or if rearranged, may have something about what they like to use in their team.Gorigan sounds like Ground, and I know he favored using the Protect Earthquake combo. Anyone remember Cypher Peon Cloak, and Cypher Peon Dagger guarding the entrance to the Under in Pokemon Colloseum?

More like:

Snattle: Sounds like a gay name. He must be gay.
Lovrina: Stripper name.
Gorigan: Remember those things from "Small Soldiers"? Add the "i" after the "r" and this is who ya got.

lol, whats wrong with the "g" word? But on a serious note though:
1) Look at Snattle's too-tight pants.
2) Look at the way he runs.

Both point to the "g" word IMO

Good point but you can still say it in a different way.Plus i didn't even know he had pants.I thought he wore a long robe. And you're right about how he runs kind of "awkwardly".And his name.....Wierd wierd game desingners.Next thing you know in Diamand and Pearl there will be names like Gadwen,Likef,Gula,Haret,Pokasa,Lithata,Yadre,Phund,or even Tuyintil.

I think they're idiots with idiotic names. It sounds like their parents just named em that because there's six of them! Imagine what the kids at school'd say if me and my bro were called Charltwo and Bentwo!

Yeah, now that you mention it, they do have weird names. Next time I play it, I'm gonna read the names and laugh at the stupid and funny ones. But really... Some of them are just uncreative. I mean purpsix? What is that? They could have put more effort into the names, but then again, at least they gave us a good game.
