can someone please tell how i can get a picture of a pokemon, person etc next to my name???

it's called the avatar... select custom avatar in your control panel (for pokecommunity, not the one in your c drive ^_^;; ) and just simply upload a picture from your computer. Be sure that it's within the restricted size and limit.
