You know, these new types are really tempting me to just go out and buy one to go see what they are like, the last time I even got a booster pack was when Fossil just came out >.> I might go and buy a booster for old times sake, then i'll post my thoughts of this new set. :)

I havent bought the cards in a long time........since jungle and fossil expansions......i have every card in all the classic sets and i dont have any newer cards but these i might consider buying.

These cards are suppose to be out now. :P So, I'm going to the store now to buy some packs. Hopefully I'll get some ex Pokemon. :P The double-type thing on these cards seem confusing. Cool though...

I bought 2 packs and didn't get any rare holo cards. Common card ones though.

Well..this is my first delve into Pokemon cards since the original series came out. I've only got the two starters, but I noticed something, there's no dot codes for the e-reader. :( I was looking forward to using that device for something. Ah wells.

The cards are very neat. I've been looking into the game, and once I start building up a better deck, I plan on going to the local comic shop for some gaming. :)

Ninja: The TATM theme decks are a great way to get started in the game!!! They are possibly tournament worthy just as they are!!! You will need to add a few cards to make them tourney-winners, but they are very good.

Ugg, I got 2 pax and poth starters later this week too, In my packs had a holo groundon and a holo Walrin. Same cards the decks have in them except the Groundon in the decks arnt holo. =/

Thanks for the link now I can look at them all. Also I got 4 card packs so far (2 one day and 2 the next) and I got 2 Team Aqua's Cacturne Holo rare, what bad luck aye, if only I could trade one but I have no one to trade like I use to >.<. I only want one of each card.

I can't trade either, what I do is when I get a lot of them I make an army, I have a big army of Crawdaunts.

I finally bought five packs of this...and I actually didn't do to badly, I suppose.

Here's the good stuff I got:
Cradily EX
Jirachi (holo)
Entei EX

Not bad for getting a few packs...I have the worst luck with drawing holos...I never drew a holo in Aquapolis (really! >_< ) and I only ever got two from Skyridge (luckily they happened to be Crystal Ho-oh and Crystal Kabutops, so that made up for it sort of)

I'm not sure if I'll get any more though...I don't collect anymore because of the disappearance of leagues for 100 miles around me...

I must have really bad luck with this new set. I have 3 packs all together, and I didn't get any ex or holo cards. The rare cards I got were Team Aqua's Mightyena (Like I said before), Team Magma's Zangoose (Like I said before.), and a new one: Team Magma's Rhydon.
I have bought many Pokemon: ex sereies packs of cards but I have only found 3 ex cards, Magmar and Mewtwo from ex: r/s (the first two packs I bought), and Ampharos from ex: Dragon much later on. Of all the packs I've bought, I didn't get a single normal holo rare card, which seems impossible, but it happened... o_O
How much are the ex Pokemon cards worth, and are they more rare than normal holo rare cards and "Shining" cards?

I think the EX cards are somewhat more rare than regular holos, but not much...because once I bought five or six packs of RS and I got 4 different EXs o_O
