This is the place to come to admire the pokemon, that if Ash wasn't so high on sunshine and loved to actually WIN a battle every once and a while using more than the power of friendship and dreams and cheap plot devices, that would have made him the most fearsome (and somewhat more masculine) pokémon trainer to ever walk the earth...but, unfortunately, he chose Butterfree (and almost drowned himself and his friends for it) and deprived us all of the most amazing pokemon ever to grace the anime. Who is this king among creatures? Why, Ash's Raticate, of course, formerly of a random rich man who had excellent taste in pokémon, now nowhere to be seen but always in the hearts of fans with more cultivated and discerning preferences as a work of genius to always behold as the anime's pinnacle achievement and most abyssmal mistake...so welcome, do come in and post, and let us reminisce...

Ahem...regarding Ash being distracted by Misty, there's no such scene. And, on top of that, Misty has very little endowment compared to other, more recent female sidekicks, and even on her own, she's very normal-looking physically. Mainly only the fanart tends to exaggerate her <_<;
