Does anyone know if there is a way to determine if a GBA pokemon game you purchased on-line has been tainted because the previous owner may have used Game Shark or AR? I like to keep my pokemon clean.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone may provide.

Well if its glitchy when you play it moat likely it will be tainted..but you couls always start a new game..it'll probably wipe off the old effects...but I'm not too sure.

Yeah, when u start a new game everything will be resetted. Including the codes. At least, when I used a GS that is.

Thank you for the advice to re-start the game. I realize this will reset the game, but I would rather not lose the high level pokes especially the shinies if they are legit...

But isn't it more of a challenge to restart the game? Since this isn't ur own file ur playing on. If the file contains alot of rare/shiny Pokémon I think the person díd use a code device. But if u want to be sure u have a non-edited game file, just restart it.
