Which Safari zone/ bug-catching contest did you like the best? I liked the R/S/E Safari zone because of the extension in Emerald.

The Bug Catching contest. The fact you had one actual Pokemon to use to mold the odds beats them all as opposed to begging and praying and maybe catching one. The odds are greater in your favor.

So yeah. That's mine. Although the original Safari Zone was nice with the controller tricks.

I like how it's real-time as opposed to the Safari parks, where the time limit=steps.

Yea...the Bug Cathcin Contest was the best. You could actually take one Pokèmon with yoiu, and you could lower the opponents HP before capturing it...

I liked the contest because it's competitive, unlike the safari zone. The zone is basicly just wild pokemon, ball throwing and a lot of prayers.

The Bug-Catching Contest was fun, getting a new Bug Pokemon and all that, but, what I don't get is that of deciding the winner. One time, I catch a Scyther, and then, the winner is Cooltrainer Nick, who also caught a Scyther. I ended up getting Second Place. And even the prizes can seem hard to get, but they end up making less value. You get Gold Berry in Third Place, it restores 30 HP. Everstone is won in Second Place, prevents a Pokemon from evolving. Sun Stone-obtained in First Place. Now that is something.:donut:

Safari Zone-now that's what I'm talking about! Having the ability to catch the Pokemon that you had to Snag in Colosseum is the rare variety! Besides, throwing the PokeBlocks help determine the Pokemon's Nature. That's why I really like it! :D

I was rather fond of the bug-catching contest... the biggest reason being that you got a prize from it. It was great fun to catch a bunch of bug Pokemon and hope it was the best. And if you won, you got a good item ^^
The Safari Zones were okay, but they just don't seem as fun as the bug-catching contest. :/

I'll also have to say the bug-catching contest. It was actually kind of fun, and I caught my awesome scyther on crystal there (lol). The safari zones were okay, but I usually only went in there to look for a certain pokemon or catch other pokemon. Not to mention those d*mn oddishes in RSE that I have like half a box full of -_-. And that number of steps thing is so easy to get around, all you have to do is get to where you want to be and lightly tap the control pad to change directions. Pokemon will still attack you, and it doesn't count as using a step. You still use steps moving from place to place though.

I think I'll go with the LG and FR Safari Zone ^^ *nod nod* Those amused me more then the others... Actually, I should say the 'FireRed' one amused me, because I have yet to play LeafGreen... Though I'm guessing its not TOO different...

Darn! I voted for the Safari Zone in R/B/FR/LG, I ment the bug catching contest, I like it how you can catch Pokemon in the contest, and you can't catch them anywhere else.
