I don't think that's quite what he's talking about. My guess would be that he means the MMORPG-style sites where you explore the game world and can challenge other users.

A Pokemon MMORPG....Theres such a thing?

There are a few but so far they're not that interactive in the true sense of an MMORPG - where you explore the gameworld and see the other players in real time etc. I believe there was/is one being developed though... perhaps try the Game Dev forum for info?
