Nothing much to say, just a little poem I wrote.

So tell me, how do you ease the pain?
I'm just another poor boy, dying in the rain
But my feelings stand, as I leave my place
To wipe the tears upon your face.

There is nowhere I know I'm going
To live a life of disbelief
In which untruth was I ever growing?
Was I a poet, or a thief?

But does it matter in this time?
Every second takes me closer to an end

Was this the way, who would ever know
To look so high, and reach so low
Feeling sunshine in the shrouds
And easily, obscured by clouds.

Thinking this is my last feeling
Now it slowly fades away
And the spotlight was I stealing
And the curtain's giving way

Oooh, let the rain reach me one last time!
The moon is far, but the stars shine!
And I'm leaving, waiting here alone
Unlit eyes, and heart of stone.

Nothing matters at this point.
Every second takes me further in the deep
Goodbye, oh star, goodbye

Pretty great poem and I really like your use of imagery and especially your allusions to some certain lyrics. I'm impressed since this feels a bit refreshing around the poetry in these forums... =D
