I was sad, but nope, I didn't cry, by that time my parents had explained that death was unstoppable, besides it wasn't my mom *faints*

Can't remember myself as i first watched it years ago for the first time but as i've watched it so many times before as it's one of many of my favourite disney films i'm just used to it now but it is kind of upsetting though.

now I can finally rant on this...
IT WAS EXPECTED
Like just about every other Disney movie....
The mom dies. Either tragically, or hell, she's not mentioned at all!
Examples:
Cinderella : Dead
Beauty and the Beast: Dead
Dumbo: Taken away ;o;
Finding Nemo: Dead
Aladdin: Unknown (For Jasmine too!)
Snow White: Unknown
Tarzan: Hey! They both died!
The Rescuers: Both died also.
The Goofy Movie: NO MOM WTF?! D:
Yeah, I know most of these are adaptations but still...notice the moms ;o;

Meh. I didn't care then, and I still don't care now.
I hear that the M1 Garand is an excellent deer-hunting rifle. Maybe I should try it for myself sometime.

Honestly, I haven't seen Bambi when I was younger. If I did see it, I may have no reaction to when Bambi's mom gets shot.
I'm with Jack on this one. Get the M1!!

Er..How'd she die? o_o ..............
She got killed by men that were hunting the forest.
I knew a character was going to die in the movie, did it have to be Bambi's mama? -.- It could have been that owl. xD;

Nah, I didn't cry when she died. But I almost did. And it still is sad to watch. And in my opinion, the falling snow seems to add to the sadness of the scene. So overall...sad? Yes. Did I cry? No, but almost.

Yeah, it was so sad! I don't full out cry, but I feel this choking feeling in my throat and my eyes water. It's kind of embarrasing sometimes ^^; but whatever!

Yes, I cried. -_- It's the most embarrassing thing to admit, but you guys don't even know me anyway. o_o
I balled my eyes out, my throat clogged up and I turned off the DVD Player. That happens every time my little sis watches Bambi. >_<

I haven't seen that movie in a long time, actually. I don't remember crying at it...
though if I watched it again now, I imagine that I very well might.
I LOVE Disney movies; a lot of them are some of the most touching movies ever made, I believe.
Somebody mentioned Dumbo, too; I saw that the other day. And cried at the song 'Baby Mine.' ;_;
I do cry at movies when they move me the right way. Some of them never fail to do so no matter how many times I see them.

Er...no...But not because I have a cold and cruel heart (okay maybe that's partially the reason but-) It's only because it took me about up to when they said it did I realize just what happened to Bambi's mom. I was just like 'Wtf is goin' on?' and when it finally dawned on me, the depressing scenes were gone.
So not cruelty, but stupidity.
