CHEATDEVICE & OFFIALTOURNAMENTS???

Hi, I want to know if it´s true what my friend told me...
He told that on the championships(the official league)
They do use a machine to check the cartrige... Such as checking
if they´re fake or not... right???
Ten, he told me, too that they do check if you had used an
cheatdevice(eg. gameshark) and the own cartrige makes
a mark(eg. pokerus) showing that you used the device...
I wanted to know if that´s true...

Thus he told me that you can even check this out on
Pokemon Stadium 2... I don´t know yet...

Either way, I just can´t fully trust him...
Any help or speculation is welcome...

no no...
I mean when a poké get pokerus it get´s a mark saying it got pokerus...
either way, but hidden, not the porerus, but the own game,
too marks if you used a gameshark or not...
that´s what I wanted to know...

I don't believe they can or are allowed to check the cartridge for GameSharking. Anyway, I believe the GameShark cannot put it's own data into the ROM of the game, but I think it does touch the RAM. I'm not so sure though.

I wanted, too, to check if someone ever done a mod on the cartrige and has
gone to a tournament... this could help a little more if he told what reappened..
if they told anything about or if it has passed cleary...

one thing I heard too is that this stuff happens too on new poké adv.
that if you put the mod cartrige on pokemon colliseum it might delete pokemon
or save game...(not sure).... still... if that´s the case...
it´s almost impossible to complete either pokedex...
or train the pokemons to full power....
not by changing their status to impossible status...(eg. HP:999/999)
but by training to real full that a pokemon can reach...

anyway... it´s still(by my point of view) a speculation... if it´s not true
(at least... I HOPE), as known yet... that´s just fine....
just don´t cheat the un-needed... right?....
