I think as long as they are in communication they should be tolerated, especially if it's not excessive. Anti-spam is what's actually really annoying...

^They kind of more like a game-like/casual thread than an Other Chat thread. I don't mind these two threads though because they are still popular, for now anyway but there has been spamming in there, like people rating the same signature twice etc.

You earn EV as you battle. But you can only earn so much of them. Unless you're doing training in a even more painful style to only choose certain opponents before stat lvl 100, then you'll be earning unneeded EVs... there's no way around this fact. You cannot possibly reach max stats in RS due to EV restrictions.
