Well, I have been enjoying many of the current episodes they've been showing. Heck, they made a reference to Misty in a recent episode!^_^ They met this trainer that was going to become a Pokemon League judge. He was at Cerulen Gym and he got a Cascade Badge there from Misty's sisters. His Pokemon are Ivysaur,Charmeleon and Wartortle, which evovled into a Blastoise later in that episode while fighting Team Rocket.

If we're all willing, it would be exceedingly easy...as much conversing and debating as we did regarding her in the past, there's still a lot of ground that we've never covered. I wouldn't mind shaking a bit of the rust off of my memories of her anyway.

I watch the show when it strikes my fancy, but it's incredibly rare. I tend to realize how empty the show is without Misty after five to ten minutes and I turn the channel. Even the Johto arc had its creative moments, but in the scheme of things a bit of creativity here and there couldn't salvage three wasted years of my fandom, and the same is happnening in Hoenn, unfortunately.

Cascade badge, eh? I wish I could have seen it, then; but I'm sure May would have made some sort of comment in all of her gee-golly-sugargoodness about it that would have turned me off to the rest of the show. I can't risk becoming even more jaded than I am now or I run the risk of looking badly even on the early days, and I never want that to happen.

Well, I think it's a great time to resay the reasons I like Misty.

As I've said a year ago, I've had a crush on her every since I first saw her. I thought she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She's my first anime crush. I've always liked her pesonality. She was always a smart young lady. She was a really helpful friend to Ash. Heck, if it wasn't for her, he wouldn't of ever started on his journey if she didn't fish him out of the river. Plus, she was the first human friend he made in his journey. Of course, they fought alot at first, but they eventully became the best of friends.

I like Misty, because she's the classic main character of the anime. She's also a Gym Leader, and she has a VERY interesting personality - girliness with a hint of tombyishness. =3 No new female characters can ever replace her at all.

Let's have some arguments, debates, essays! hehe Getting carried away.

I like Misty because of all her contrasts. One minute she was crouching there crying and talking to a lil Oddish...and the next, she's yelling at Ash. (Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village) :P And also, she may seem confident and quick-witted at pokemon battles and stuff...but when it comes to her crush on Ash, she's so scared and private. All these differences really make her a well-rounded character.
Oh yea, and I agree with Edgeboy's point about her being tomboyish. That's probably one easy way she related to me.
And also, her clever remarks are always hilarious. :D She's the only one who has the guts to call Jessie an "Old hag" or "Old witch!". LOL
One of my favourite episodes is the Tentacool and Tentacruel one where she practically saved the whole town from total destruction *Nastina, that old witch was so funny!*

Wow, again, i havent been here in quite a while. Ill try to socialize more with u guys this winter and post my analysis with solid proof (from the show) :P So, it's good to be back ne?

Anyways, I like misty's character because she is just like my sister :D She is very demanding, arrogant, and mean in order for things to get done, but in the end she really is a big softy when the time permits. She wont release this niceness to most people but to others she cares about; now that my friends, is character :)

I love pokemon because all the episodes really shape the characters into life. For example all 380+ episodes of pokemon have shaped Ash, Brock, Misty, and May to be so likeable and understood. U see, also that pokemon (the way it is created) shows not only the Major characters rounded, but also the minor, like Richy who is a polite, mannered, open version of what Ash would be (Richie is the complement to Ash, as May is to Misty :P)

I liked Misty's character since the first episode. Though she sometimes blushed and had feelings for Ash, she wasn't boy crazy, and she was smart and intelligent. She has an irreplaceable tomboy-ish personality which makes you respect her, and as many of you said, Ash would never have gotten where he is without Misty. Everything that she did gave her the "uniqueness" of her personality, which can be replace by no one. (Not even a younger and so called "cuter" girl.)

Even though Misty is hardly delicate enough to have other people wipe her tears, it's a wonderful piece and deserves the highest acclaim...the talent at Miyabic room is always getting better, which seems impossible seeing as how they're already amazing, but it just doesn't end...

Two seasons of awesome-ness, then a slow, grinding death before she was blessedly (as far as I'm concerned) taken away. In all honesty, I'd rather not see her return to the show.

Why do I speak such blasphemy? Consider first, the entire Johto arc wherein she was very nearly as bland as May. Three seasons of that was horrid, and I doubt a reintroduction would be much better, judging by the episodes she HAS appeared in since she left. misty's personality is genuine. having her back may or may not cause an 'artificial personality'. she may appear as a rejuvenated person emotionally at first glance but will maintain the same persona. and gradually show true love and romance openly with ash as time passes by.

Hey guys, havent been posting for a while (again -_-) because i have work every weekday for 12 hours, so not much time to chill and post :)

New Announcement, perhaps this month or the next I'll be posting some artwork of Ash and Misty older; what i think they'd be in my new Pokemon multiplayer RPG entitled 'Pokemon Xtreme'. Do you guys remember my announcement on the game a year back? Well im beginning the early stages of development on this game. I'm creating custom Facesets, charasets, chipsets, and remixed pokemon music and themes, and a new CBS and CMS unlike the previous pokemon games... however ill still have the option to play in the same classic type of battle system. This WILL be the first Pokemon game completely about Ash's journey to become a pokemon master, from his 10 year old self to the 18-19 year old master he will become. It will involve the same type of mechanics used for creating great script and dialogue like climax, romance, twists, and... whatever else :)

Lol. Sadly nintendo wont do that much. Nintendo is already stressed out with other things at hand. Besides, nintendo doesnt handle the anime, rather it is the animation company that does... i forgot who it was (end credits of the anime) well, all we can do is HOPE. Misty may come bak to the show, and surprisingly if we get the old team bak in action in the anime, then possibly misty's appearance might be welcomed. For example, Misty might join the crew as her old self. During their journey when Brock flirts, Misty might discipline Brock and May may ask her how she does it, you know learning from Ash. This will probably open up the first appearances of girl talk maybe later in the show when Misty and May become familiar with each other more and perhaps we might see some type of love triangle work out- ie. May-Ash and Misty-Ash. It would be great having Misty back because then their might even be a better balance between the sexes in the show, rather than 2-3 boys and 1 girl :P

Nontheless, if what Ozy is saying is true, and Misty stays as bland as she is (which is doubtful cause when characters come back on the team they unveil their true personality to the group), it WOULD be better as it is... i guess for a moment :P

We're lucky to have people like mistywishmaker and Carina around who are always giving us new and wonderful works of art. You're lucky to even have access to Open Canvas or Photoshop...I make fanarts that aren't bad but still look terrible as pencil sketches anyway, I've never had a chance to make them look the way I want @_@ *hoping for a laptop for Christmas*

yes, you can make a copy of the misty generated drawing by pressing the 'print screen' button on the keyboard. then, save it as a .jpeg file on microsoft paint. next, edit a few things (like cutting off unwanted borders on the image) on adobe photoshop (or open canvas) and save it. finally, make a URL for the image (use photobucket.com or yahoo.com's geocities) so you can post it on your signature. ENJOY!!! :)

Well about pokesho, I don't like the fact that their is too much shading on both Haruka and Misty/Kasumi... it's kinda wrong you know... You shouldnt create your own character in public so much because it kinda gives out the implication of a hentai site in some terms (to parents :P)

ANYWAYS, If you want to create a complete outfit, youll first have to uncheck EVERYTHING FIRST- yes, stip Misty/Haruka to their swimsuit/underwear forms... -_-... [i dont like the idea, but u wont be able to choose a matching custom outfit otherwise...

I didn't like what I saw with everything unchecked, but at least since I had my list I could quickly give her some pants...which, given her design, was a necessary first move for me <_<;

This sucks. I wrote so much and now it made me write it again...

Anyways, lets be brief this time. Love those awesome pics of Misty XD. A-one, though, the concept of hot springs are very awkward compared to what we believe as moral. You see, their is one big or 2 hot springs which include a female side and a male side. The male side all situate naked men in a way as taking a bath, while the female side situates naked women taking a bath together (like men). It is very rare that Japanese people would go into a hot spring with a swimsuit on... but I guess it was purposeful in pokemon... I dont wanna get into more of the details cause it gets in a big loop of things... so their it is.

Totakikay, I love your new sig ^_~ its really cool and has awesome blending- your so professional!

Also, mistywishmaker, I've gotten better at drawing bodies and complete figues and I think i got the right designs for what I imagine as the older Ash/Misty/Brock. When I get the time I'll draw a nice Misty-older drawing of her and Ash together like in the Pokemon Xtreme scene I gave to Totakikay (O_O oops... that was supposed to be a secret...)
