hey, guys. sorry about the absence, i had a lot of schoolwork in the past few weeks, and i was also trying to find supporters to our cause. but lets get to that later. ok... new topic (or if there was already a topic on this, a revived topic.):

what pokemon would she probably catch should she be in sinnoh (let alone in the main cast).

i'd say a keikoru, or maybe a karanakushi. maybe even a pokemon like bipper. it doesn't have to be a water pokemon, it could be any kind of pokemon.

Also, I sincerely doubt that her temper faded in Johto (then again, I stopped at Johto due to that horrid "socka party" commercial.). Especially since she kept her temper in Mewtwo Returns, and (from what i read on serebii's episode guides) in the Magcargo episode that reveals why she wanted to be a water pokemon trainer in the first place. plus she did do stuff in Johto from what i heard from you guys at least, maybe not as much as in Kanto, but, from what i heard from crystal clair, it was still quite a bit.

About the cooking thing, yes, Misty can't really cook, but she tried. I'm sure later on when they meet again, that she'll cook better because, well, she is becoming even more independent =)
That or she would be the same =P both with varying effects to the direction of her character.

About the Club dying... I agree totally. But I don't know what topics that could be started... hmm

I would have to say yes and no, I agree that she was a bad cook in the episode with the purple stew :D...However in the episode when Ash and Tracey got sick because of the Stun spore (or something like that) she was actually able to cook up the medicene for them those leaves or something..and they got better

In my opinion, compared to May, Misty is much funny.
Misty always told some funny word/sentence.

Beside that, Misty has more knowledge about Pokemon, and also stronger Pokemon.
(Misty is the leader of Cerulean Gym. Misty's strong Pokemon I know is Gyarados.)

That's make the story more interesting.

I just had nothing to post. I dont really do too much Misty fanart anymore, too many other characters to draw (Hinata, Chigusa, Whitney, Flannery, Shinji, Natane, Hikari, Roxanne, Winona, Kogomi, Azami, and loads more)
However, I dug deep into my old fanart stash and found an old-school art of mine
btw, the reason she has an R on her shirt (Team Rocket) is because back in the 8th grade (when I drew like that on mspaint), I had Ash as Giovanni's son and Misty and many other characters joining Team Rocket. (Team Rocket were doing hippie acts and everyone wanted to contribute)

hey, guys. I know that some of you have already heard my plan to aid in bringing Misty back, but for the benefit of those who haven't, I will now describe the plan. well, we should all write letters to the creators and send them to their world headquarter's.
If that doesn't prove sufficent to bring Misty back, the next step would be to implement a worldwide boycott of pokemon merchandise. I hate to ask, but my searches for the mailing address for the Pokemon Company's headquarters in Japan have proved to be ineffective, can anyone supply the mailing the address? I should mention however, that I have gotten 36 people in my neighborhood to agree. if you have any ideas as to how to bring back Misty, feel free to post them.

Also, Misty would actually help out Ash and [spoilers/:]Hikari[/:spoilers] in becoming the greatest pokemon master/ pokemon coordinator, since she is a very skilled pokemon trainer, and she also participated in a pokemon contest way back in princess vs princess. Also, if the creators could create stuff for her to do when she returns (right now an if, but if this plan works, then it will be a when.) as to not make her stale. Anyways, that is all... for now.

Yep, since Cartoon Network showed so many episodes, we're already there already. There's only five episodes left for this season, though I think they're going to take a little break before showing them in time for next mouth, which Diamond and and Pearl will be out for the DS.

Though, I've had some problems with this season, like with the voice quality.

So from what I've heard, she may come back a bit again ^____^ But I know, the best most efficient way she could come is, in one way, through a video game--- I'm serious, because that's how Satoshi came to be popular anyways XDD. Besides this we have to be patient or keep fighting to bring her back (that's what this club is for anyways =D)

I'd say that she might return to the main cast since the blog, although it didn't necessarily state that Misty is returning to the main cast, it didn't really state that she is returning for a few episodes either (which, of course is vital since, as we all know, whenever she appears for a few episodes, official sources state that she is only appearing for a few episodes). then again, the writers might have her appearing for a few episodes when she does appear (not that it is bad, but it isn't really enough), but still... there is still hope.

Let me begin by replying to the current topic:

In my personal opinion, it's not likely that she will make a full-fledged return, though, mind you from the way things are going with the show, anything is possible XD. The writers did this before: knowing that there are lots of Misty fans who will watch the show just for Misty (in proper context), they may just be putting Misty in the show for a few more episodes either because they don't have anything else better to do, or they just want to try to make all the watchers come back to the show in hope that Misty will join the cast once again, and then shatter their (and our) dream. However, looking past this likely possibility, there is still a chance that the authors may use this opportunity as a test and actually bring her back! I know that this could even spark a big chain effect and get pokemon atleast a little bit more popular again, but then again, the authors are probably in a position where they stubbornly want to try something 'new' and 'fresh', without taking risks for the fans they already lost =P. That's my opinion atleast. I'm sure you guys have a better idea of this than I, so yeah XD.

@Anime/Mangalover247: YAY! I'm sooooo happy you posted your artwork =D. From my perspective this isn't all too bad. The best features of your drawing is in her expression. You captured Misty's expression very well, especially the meaningful tears of loneliness or sadness (I can't completely tell without more body language). Her hair also resembles Misty's long, mermaid-like hair (*refers to Mermaid Misty costumes) which is a definite shine of beauty and awesomeness ;). Now, with EVERY drawing there is always something that can be made better (atleast if you can catch it ^__^). Here, you should work a bit more on shaping her body so that she has better body language with her expression ;) [Though in some way it still works =D~ so it's your opinion if you want to change that or not]. I suggest you have Misty's hands perhaps behind her body (so that she gives out that feeling of want~ I don't know =P). You can do this by using the rules of proportions (circles and lines) by making circles from her shoulders and use two parallel lines curving behind the body you've made. Remember, you made Misty in an arbitary angle, so make sure that her left hand is behing the body that is sticking out~ it makes it more realistic =). Other than this you could also curve the neck a bit more left so that it adds to her curvature, again adding to the pose. You can do this by starting at the end of her collar (which you've already drawn) and make a slow left-influenced curve ending midway between the line you've chosen to end the neckline to her face. I think that would make the picture even more gorgeous than it already is ^____^. I hope this could help =) and I reaalllly hope to see more of your work AML247

I finally got a new scanner hooked up directly to my laptop. So I scanned in some pics.

Yukatas are summer kimonos. They're made out of cotton and usually are a lot less fancy but somehow are just as beautiful as kimonos

I believe her seiyuu herself said that it was only going to be a short thing... perhaps not even appearing in an episode but just as a host thing like those Pokemon Sunday special things... It's not confirmed. It's just to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pokemon anime (NOT games...) and whatnot.

@Poketrainer2004: I think you have a point there, staying true to what we've been given, but she's still a girl above all else, and lots of girls like variety. I'm sure the choices would work and she wouldn't really complain if it's necessary to wear a skirt if she's in school. XD because the system there usually makes girls wear plaid short or long skirts. I'm not sure they are allowed to wear pants or shorts >.>

Also about May... she has her own unique character to deal with-- we can't have everything and she had different preferences than Misty, which is good because I like Misty the way she is, and wouldn't want a potential 'replacement' if you get what I mean XD.

IMO, misty should remain true to her form. Since she doesnt usually wear skirts(unless it is a special occasion) then lets keep it that way. lest we ruin her base character and make her like may...a little too girly to really be a travelling pokemon coordinator...
May compliains way too much in the first few episodes. It wasnt untill she fell in love with ash (Before drew) that she started to shut up...
I couldnt agree more, jeans is what Misty is most comfortable with but seeing her in the outfit in Hoeun it really was shocking. Although those were my favourite colors the design of the dress looked like the one Ash's mother used to wear the top that is

I grew up kinda relating to Misty so honestly, I dont want to see her on any Japanese style uniform. However, I grew up liking uniforms so I guess a nice private school uniform would be nice.

Anyways, I have a challenge for all members in this club: Basically, in your respective areas of the world, you should try to get as many signatures on a petition (stating it is to Bring back Misty) as you can, and try to beat my record of 423+ signatures (421 out of 1396 schoolmates, and counting in my area.). if you are able to, try asking your schoolmates, as well as your neighborhood and even your mall. If you can't do your school (be it being closed for the summer, or anything), then at least try your neighborhood, or your Mall.

Anyways, I'm not sure if any one mentioned it yet so if you did, I'm sorry, but guess whose special lure appeared in the Buizel episode? If you guessed the Misty special lure, You're Correct! However, even though it proves that they remembered it, there are some downsides, namely, certain people on Serebii and Bulbagarden forums are saying that the lure is the appearance that Mayumi Iizuka mentioned in her blog (not that I believe it, in fact, that could not be the cameo since it was her VOICE actress that mentioned the Misty appearance.)

Hello everyone! It's been a really long while since I've last posted here.

As for what I've been up to, I've been playing Diamond and Pearl since they've been out in April.

As for recent stuff on the show, I would be happy to see her again in another episode or two in Sinnoh. It would give me something to look forward to while going though this so far slow moving saga. It just finally started airing this month on Cartoon Network on June 4. They just showed the first part of Dawn's first contest and her first meeting with Zoey.

Hi, sorry that I haven't been here in a while. but I have some things to say:

@Mistylover17: Look, no offense, but I doubt that her VA meant a few episode arc. Now don't get me wrong, I do want her in an arc, although our ultimate goal is for her to return to the main cast. And it may very well be that she is only going to return for a few episodes since, you know, it has happened before. But the thing is, this is the first time (I think) that Misty's voice actress mentioned Misty returning in her blog (and even if it wasn't the first, due to doing research on bulbanews, it is certainly the first time that mentions of Misty's return involving the VA interview being posted in there.) I mean, even "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon", the special that was advertised as the 10th anniversary Anime special, didn't seem to have that honor. The ways that we have found out about Misty's prior appearances were not from something as official as a VA's Blog, but from sources such as commercials, Pokeani (I think) and possibly even watching the episode. Nope, I am pretty sure that Misty is returning to the main cast this time around. Now if I have any flaws in my analysis, then just reply to me, Oh. and BTW, nice fanart, and at least it keeps her figure in line with her canon figure.

@wintersun: Welcome to the club, and yes, she has been "confirmed" to be appearing in D/P in an interview with her japanese seiyuu, Mayumi Iizuka, herself.
However it is currently unknown how she will be appearing. Although, it seems to be tied between permanent main cast member and few epi arc/cameo character (or the former winning and the latter getting second place). The whole VA business stuff (ie, narrating specials and doing trivia segments) doesn't seem to cut it due to the fact that in the same blog Mayumi Iizuka confirmed she was doing the whole 10th anniversary stuff PRIOR to hinting at Misty's return (from what I read on Bulbanews at least.)

Also, although it is a bit late involving this, but has anyone watched the marathon on 6/2/07-6/3/07? because I have some things to comment on: One. I noticed that, in regards to the johto episodes (they were the main bulk of what I watched), that one: Misty, contrary to popular belief, actually DID do much more than merely just sitting around and doing nothing (And I should also mention that she was doing important stuff to boot), and two, unlike what Anti-Johto/Anti-Misty people say, Misty, although she didn't hit her comrades like she did in seasons 1-2, still had her volatile temper in affect (she was shown to be yelling in some of the episodes.).
Also, if anyone has watched "Princess vs. Princess" during the marathon, you will know exactly why I swore my loyalty to Misty in that episode (and now forever)(remember when I commented that Misty was not of the typical female anime stereotype, well, that episode is what I meant.).

Umm... Yeah... About that Wikipedia article... if Peachesncream is referring to the line in the subsection "Misty, Hoenn and Beyond", I already sourced it to what I think it was referring to. See... I was pretty sure whoever posted this tidbit of information (it's not me, BTW, I only sourced it when the original person who posted the information neglected to cite a source.) was referring to the Blog Mayumi Iizuka posted on March the third, 2007, or, to a lesser extent, the Bulbanews article "Kasumi to make appearance in anime", which led up to the blog/interview in question. I had it sourced directly to the blog since I figured that, since Wikipedia wouldn't count Bulbapedia as a source, then they wouldn't count Bulbanews as a source. As for the pokemon anime part involving Misty's return in D/P, I haven't gotten around to sourcing it yet, but I will make sure that i will do that. Also, welcome Peachesncream, Pokefan Silver, and -SK8-.

Anyways, involving signatures, how many people have signed the "Bring Misty Back" petitions in your respective areas? just wondering since, you know, in order for our goal for Misty to return to the main cast to become a reality, we need all the help we can get globally.

Also, Peachesncream, you're Right, They can't just kick Misty off. they already tried that with Brock in the Orange Islands, and we know how that resulted. I am hoping, and also pretty sure that the several hundred petitions trying to Bring back Misty that has accumilated in their mailbags (as well as that letter with the ultimatum) are currently getting the writers to reconsider the decision made almost 5 years ago, and are now attempting to bring back Misty.

Ok, Peachesncream, to answer your question about where to find petitions, I think there are some on Petition.com, and the various Misty clubs are, technically-speaking, petitions. Now if you were referring to my comment on signatures in my previous post, I was actually meaning that those of us in the club create a petition in their respective areas of the world and get as many signatures from them as they can get. it can be anywhere in your area. For example, I myself got 421 signatures in my area, and the majority of them were from my high school, and also, I currently have a bit of a delay in getting more signatures, but as soon as I complete that goal, I will get more signatures in my area. also, once you have gotten as many signatures in your area (I suggest the majority of the people, but it could at the very least be half of the population of your area.) you can send it in to your country's pokemon company branch, and have it be sent to the Pokemon Company HQ in Japan.

Anyways... in regards to Misty's inevitable return... I heard (Well technically read since you can't really hear in a website)(At least, I remember hearing (or reading)) a rumor from a little bird at Pokemon elite 2000 forums over a few weeks ago that the writers are currently considering bringing back that 4 person group dynamic that we had in AG (it is not going to be the exact same characters, since Max is doing his pokemon journey and May is doing Contests in Johto).
Could this mean that, coupled with Misty's Seiyuu's Blog, Misty might actually return to the main cast from now on? Now, I am going to warn you that the rumor might be false, but that is what I have heard.

Edit: I made a small error, it's not someone at Tv.com that stated the 4 person thing, it was the "Misty fans..." thread in Pokemon master forums, this person also stated that he found it on the Main characters section of the pokemon anime article on wikipedia, but then again, it can be edited by anyone, so it might not be true, but there is still a chance that it might happen.

i had a question about petitioning to get misty back on the show. I had an idea for the misty/ash video I am working on now. in the end credits I could encourage everyone to sign a petition to bring misty back. In my video description I could post a link to a petition. should I make a new petition of my own? or put a link of a petition that has been made by someone else? also do online petitions really help out a cause? I'm just not sure that companies are really out there looking at online petitions. If they don't actually look at them online, is there someway to e-mail the pokemon company the "bring back misty" petition? just trying to help the cause!

well, you could try to link it to petition.com, due to it being the main petition website. However, you could also attempt to get signatures around your neighborhood. and, although i am not sure about emailing it to the Pokemon Company, if you can't email it to the pokemon company (which, in my "Bring Back Misty or face a global Boycott" Letter, I did try to find Satoshi Tajiri's email address to email it to him, but it was to no avail) you could try to just send it in by regular postage (though I attempted to send it to TV Tokyo since, of the three main people of pokemon, I could only find TV Tokyo's postage address.) as for the online petitions being effective, they might not be effective. On the other hand, when SOVA petitioned to PUSA for them to bring 4kids VA's Back, PUSA did hear of this and did try to get them back (they might have ultimately failed, but PUSA did at least attempt it). I should Mention, however, that you can attempt a neighborhood petition and ask anyone around your neighborhood, since that is what I did at school. Also, I found the Pokemon Company's Postage Address: The Pokemon Company, 1-8-1 Marumouchi Trust Tower, 18S Marumouchi, Chiyoda-Tokyo, 105-0005 Japan, so as soon as you've gotten everyone in your respective areas of the world, let's address it to the Pokemon Company as well as our Letters threatening Global Boycott if they refuse to bring her back. If the entire Misty fanbase that wants her back can send their support and reach an acceptable percentage of the global population, I am pretty sure that The writers will realize that taking Misty off the show 5 years ago was a very big Mistake.

and also, I will say, that I will Make sure that we succeed in Bringing Misty back onto the Main cast. PPS: can someone post the link for petiton.com, i searched it and ended up with some weird website that obviously wasn't for posting petitions. there is petitionspot.com and petitononline.com but I don't know which one to use, which is the most popular and most viewed petition website?

umm... yeah, i kinda made a mistake in regards to the petition website, it was actually Petitionspot.com that had the petitions on bringing back Misty, not Petition.com as I had previously believed, sorry for the mistake.

Also, in regards to your questions involving the 4kids VA's not having any interest in returning to voice them, it is sort of like that, it's more because their contracts to 4kids when they started their jobs with them forbade them from voicing things where 4kids doesn't currently dub. Now, the contracts didn't necessarily apply to all of the 4kids VA's, since the VA's for the narrator, Gengar in the Mystery Dungeon special, and not to mention Gary were confirmed by Bulbapedia to be their 4kids VA's (although PUSA listed them under different names for some strange reason.)

Anyways, I should mention that Misty did somewhat partake in a Pokemon Contest battle (*Cough*Princess Vs. Princess*Cough**Cough*Queen of the Princess Festival Contest*Cough*), so even if she didn't partake in as many contests as May did, she would still have some experience with them. Besides which, it's not like a person needs experience in doing a contest (Official or not) to do very wll in it. If Ash was able to Tie with May despite having never entered a contest (and having absolutely no experience besides being a spectator, not to mention) prior to the one with May, then Misty would also do the same there.

Also, I just wanted to say that, contrary to the popular belief, her Starmie did win at least one battle (her Starmie defeated Joe's Weepinbell in School of Hard Knocks, and while the victory was short-lived by Gizelle's Graveler Pwning her Starmie, it did win at least one battle nonetheless), and also, I'm actually quite suprised that people don't seem to think of "Some Like it Hot" as a regular, important episode, much less a Misty-centric one, Considering that Misty was the only one of her group who even attempted to unblock the Giant Magcargo (even if she did lose, she did at least try to move it.), it revealed Misty's Personality quirk of getting really defensive of water pokemon should they be dissed, and this was the episode that revealed why Misty has that Melodistic (umm... Melody from TLM2?) obsession of water Pokemon. I mean, If they were able to count "Go West, Young Meowth!" and "Hot Matches" as Non-Filler episodes, then they should Count "Some Like It Hot" as a Non-Filler episode as well.

Thankyou for posting the petiton website, I will be sure to make a petiton to bring misty back and encourage all my youtube video watchers to sign it!

I knew the thing about the 4-kids VAs being contracted under 4-kids and therefore unable to voice the characters once PUSA took over. It just seems kinda dumb to me that since some of the 4kids VAs are doing the voices for PUSA and the rest can't! geeze, It isn't even like the contract is for their whole lives or anything. I used to be really mad about this but Ash's new voice is ok with me now... (but I would still prefer the old one) and misty... well I have only heard her new VA on the "mastermind of mirage pokemon" and it was alright...(though not quite the same), the anime will never be as awesome as it used to be :-(, back in the good ol' days of kanto

Anyways, she did do quite a bit of battles. It may not have been as much as Ash does, but it is still very significant compared to Brock's. Misty is a very vital asset of not just the pokemon anime, but also anime in general, since she is one of the very rare anime females (if not the only anime female) who is not of the female anime stereotype at all, as proven in the episode "Princess Vs. Princess."

Perhaps I should explain my reasonings as to why I am certain that Misty is most likely Returning to the main cast. You see, I at first thought that she might have meant that she was returning thanks to that blog, but when Cybercubed mentioned that it could have been VA stuff/10th anniversary stuff, I was firmly believing that she will return to the main cast, and I also doubted the part of her doing VA specials since she somewhat confirmed the VA stuff (she was mentioning her first trivia segment, so it was pretty much confirmed that she was doing specials) and yet it also stated right afterwards that she hinted at a further appearance sometime in the future, and since, Logically speaking, no human would hint at something after they confirmed said thing in the same source, that somewhat disproved the whole VA special exclusive stuff that he mentioned.

I also noticed during my research on bulbanews that the march the 3rd blog was the first Mayumi Iizuka blog/interview that delt with a possible future appearance/return of Misty to even be posted on Bulbanews (much less the possibility of it being the first blog to even hint at Misty returning at all)

(although I am unsure of whether the mirage togepi arc or the Hoenn League Tourney cameo had been mentioned in any past blogs of Mayumi Iizuka, I do know that her three episode arc near the end of advanced battle and even her role in the 10th anniversary anime special "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" were definitely not even touched upon by her VA, since if they were, they would have posted it on bulbanews.).

Prior to March the 3rd, the only way we could get info involving Misty's return were Pokeani, commercials for the next episode, and other stuff. And, to my knowledge at least, there hasn't been a blog from her VA that even gives a hint at Misty's return/appearance.

And the whole Fishing Lure issue should not be counted as Mayumi Iizuka's hinted Misty appearance since it was her VOICE ACTRESS who hinted at it, not her animator/designer. So these points, as well as my sending out that Letter that basically told them that either they bring Misty back onto the show or the entire Misty fanbase will Boycott their franchise way back in November of last year, is the reason why I am under the firm belief that Her VA did indeed mean that Misty is returning to the Main Cast in her hint in that blog. So, to me at least, it seems very likely that Misty is indeed returning to the main cast. However, we will have to wait until possibly the 11th season to find out if it is indeed the case or not. And even if she doesn't end up returning to the main cast, we always have Plan B (the Petitions and Operation Global Boycott.).

err... Peachesncream... about your petition... I did sign up and i did do all the necessary procedures on it (signed my name, listed my email address, made a comment on my agreement on bringing back Misty into the anime, and confirmed my signature.). However, when I visited it again, I noticed that for some strange reason it didn't add my signature in there, and it still says zero signatures. Did I miss something when I signed it, or is there some sort of glitch on your petition? I just needed to know because it seemed to be of great concern that this happened.

My friend sent a letter to the official pokemon.com's website mailbag last month about Misty's return (including the voice actresses conformation of it in his question). Since then they have posted two sets of question and answers and my friends question to them hasn't appeared on their website and they have answered other easy/silly questions that other people have sent to them. This seem suspicious to me, almost as if they are trying to hide something or not let out any secrets about her possible return .... hmmmmmmm

ummm... welcome back, Kasu-chan. And, I'm sorry if this is late, but welcome to the club, kasumi_chan_x. Anyways, how are the global area petitions? I'm doing quite well, I got over 90 signatures during the 4th of july parade, thus furthering it to over 600. Also, new topic:

If Misty met Ariel (from TLM), how do you think they would think of each other.

I'd say something of friend, ally, guardian (of sorts) and mentor. Something along the lines of Piccolo and Son Gohan from "Dragonball Z", Harry Potter and Dumbledore (with a small hint of Sirius Black), and Luke Skywalker and Obiwan Kenobi in Star Wars. Also, nice screencaps/Artwork. Also, in regards to the old topic, while I don't exactly have a favorite, the episode that will impact my sworn loyalty to Misty the most would be "Princess vs. Princess" since that's the episode that proved to me that Misty was NOT of the female anime stereotype, and thus, the reason why I am extremely loyal to her out of the three main girls now (4 counting Marina from LoT). and I am pretty sure that Misty played a very key role in pokemon the movie 2000 (She was the reason why Ash was even able to deliver the Ice Sphere, since if she didn't risk her own life to save Ash from drowning, then the entire world would have (quite literally) been destroyed.). I think that somehow the two of them could get into arguements in some ways. Kind of how Ariel is stubborn and I for some reason can picture Misty yelling at her. In the most parts, I think the two of them could become good friends. I'd be amused to see them doing something crazy, though. xD

Ugh, I hate when people use that reason to hate May. =/ If I was that closeminded, I would hate Dawn for replacing May then. <_< Misty's still the best though.

Hello, fellow members!

It's funny that lots of us are redrawn to this club every now and then, and I'm really happy about that =) (How long has it been since I've been to Pokecommunity again?.. )

Ari-chan and Kasu-chan posted some awesome pictures- some, even that I haven't seen before posted in this club =) ~ Kudos for everyone ^o^!

As far as the hatred issue goes, Busterwolf-kun is right, and we shouldn't just hate on a character put into the show. May/Haruka wasn't that bad of a character neither is Dawn/Hikari and I'm sure if they were both put alongside in the same group with Satoshi's gang, there would be less complaining and more appreciation toward the uniqueness of each character. Of course everyone has a right to post their own opinion. I'm just not one of those fans who believe any single character should be hated just because they 'replaced' a particular character. It's just the artist's way of doing things ~ and it's clear that they are indeed rethinking their strategy of getting Misty/Kasumi back on the show ~ not sure when, since they have let us down a couple times before, but perhaps in the newest upcoming season? It's always a possibility to hope =).

As for Dark_Azelf's argument, perhaps in the positive way, they are attempting to make a surprise (?) or they are afraid that their answer, "wrong", will appear backlashed with countless angry Misty fans XD! ~ Of course, I wouldn't be too sure anyways-- the Pokemon company is so iffy when it comes down to the anime -__-.

And, for weedle_mchairybug's topic: If Misty met Ariel (from TLM), how do you think they would think of each other? ~~ I actually think they might get along more--- since they both love water in general. There would be lots to see and do, and if, let's say if, by trident's power or some sort to give Misty actual fins, they both would have wonderful fun in the King Trident's Water Kingdom, of course greeted by awed stares as they witness Misty's beauty (Misty in her Mermaid costume looks so pretty!). Thus, to make things short, I think they would get along more, though in some cases I would agree they could be making lots of argument ~ they're both rebellious!

@Mistywishmaker: I like that part of her personality as well =) It's what makes me appreciate her character so much more than I've seen in other female characters I've came across and had the blessing to see.

You know, I should mention that some people (even her fans) state that Misty isn't exactly a good cook. But then again, didn't she technically "Cook" the medicene used to cure Ash, Tracey, and even Jessie of their stun spore sickness? And also, they did show some sort of artwork with Misty cooking up some sort of stew (It seems to be from some sort of magazine that deals with pokemon in general) and it had to at least have taken place in the Orange Islands due to the fact that Tracey was among them. Maybe Misty really isn't as bad a cook as "Sick Daze" would lead us to believe, since otherwise, Ash, Tracey and Jessie would have certainly died from that illness/Medicine. Maybe she isn't exactly as good a cook as Brock, but the fanbase (in general) shouldn't really say she is a bad one either, considering these facts, no offense. When I find this artwork, I will be sure to show it. And also, I doubt that Misty is a side character considering that she did quite a bit of stuff, far more than the side characters, and maybe even Ash (or at the very least is just barely below him.). Also, of all the classes of pokemon characters listed on Bulbapedia (Protagonists, Rivals, Antagonists, and side characters), Misty is listed in the Protagonists section, not the side characters.

Ok, as for the rest of the comments made:

@Busterwolf and Tkinc: I agree with the two of you somewhat, since despising May just because she replaced Misty is quite low. Now, if they had a reason similar to how Jynx was banned in the US, then, yeah, I can see that as a good enough reason for me. Also, I kinda told Dark Azelf why I am pretty sure that Misty is returning for diamond and pearl, Just FYI.

@Vaporeon219: Welcome to the club, but we would most appreciate it if you don't bash May or any character, even though you might dislike her. I mean, I don't exactly like her any more than you do, but you still shouldn't bash her since it's against forum policy.

Ok, as for a final comment, I think it is almost time to submit the petitions to the Pokemon Company HQs. Can you give me a status update on the signatures on every one of your Petitions to bring back Misty? I have exactly 529 signatures total at this time.

I think Ariel and Misty would get along pretty well. For some reason, I can picture the two of them exchanging opinions about the worlds they live in. I can also imagine them looking out for each other in case either if them get into trouble. Still, the idea sounds cute. 8D

Well, I’m back, everyone! Anyways, for an important news flash in regards to our plans, I went to the AWA convention and I got a whopping 150 signatures at the convention (maybe even more than that) in only two days (I would have gotten more than that, but there wasn’t really enough time.) (I also got a “Broly” Action figure there, but that’s not the the point.), If that many people in the convention were willing to sign the petition, then there is definitely some hope in attempting to bring back Misty.

Also, I also made a post on the Bulbagarden Forums Misty Club in regards to exactly why I am loyal to Misty and extremely determined to bring her back onto the main cast (Not to mention exactly why I have that hatred of the female anime stereotype). You can view it here (http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showpost.php?p=422776&postcount=1626) if you wish to know, however, be warned, since it does contain my own negative opinions of the other Female main characters on the show (Much less the female anime characters in anime in general.) Oh, and in case you were wondering why I said those things in the closing paragraph, it’s because the majority of the members of the Bulbagarden Forums Misty Club aren’t exactly as loyal to Misty as I would have believed. I mean, no offense to those members here who are members of that club, but they are somewhat acting more like… ummm, to use an analogy that wouldn’t be flaming, the disloyal servants from “The Odyssey”, since they aren’t even trying to bring her back (heck, from the responses they gave, they acted as though they didn’t even give a care in regards to trying to bring back Misty), despite the fact that they are supposed to be her loyal fanbase.
Anyways, in regards to this club, remember what I said about the Cooking Misty pic? Well here it is:

Anyways, has anyone gotten any Signatures for the petitions? I’m Sorry if I Have to ask Multiple times, but I really need to know since we need the majority (or at the very least half) of the Pokemon fanbase in order to convince the writers to bring her back onto the main cast, and since we might have to send them off soon in order to convince the writers, we need a last minute check.

@CrystalClair:Good work, you did a fine job on that picture of misty. In fact it almost resembles the scene where she wipes the tear away after Ash was revived in the Pokemon Tower episode.

@Kasu-chan: Nice work on that fanart.
