View Full Version : Bamboo forest

I feel new, like i'm going to find something special behind every bamboo limb.
But behind them there's a new bunch of bamboo limbs.
I start running...
I feel lost, there's nothing to see, nobody to see, i'm all alone.
I search desperately after any sign of life.
I feel restless, like i would cry of happyness to see any sign of lives around me.
There's nothing more to see, there's nothing left to learn, there's nothing more to live for.
I would leave this world since i'm so lost in the shadows.
There it stops. I hear a sign of life. A Panda sits by a river eating bamboo buds.
The feeling of being lost dissapears and tears falls from my eyes, the sun reflects trough them and makes the light shine around the bamboo bums. The joy and happyness stops instantly by an explosion. The Panda dies and the sound of it eating bamboo buds turns into deep silence. The rustle in the bamboo bums turns into a shant of despair.
I feel lost in a big and confusing world. Some hunters find me and shows me the way out of the forest, but a new explosion makes the bamboo buds rustle and a new silence fills out the forest...

Kay... I read this once already...

The poem is... pretty good. I'm afraid that I had to look rather hard to find any meaning. It was a little abstract for my tastes, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Just don't post the same poem in more than one thread... It gets kinda spammy... and the mods'll get you for that... *evil cakcle*\

Keep on writing.
