Starting now, Konami has BANNED the following cards:

Fairy Injection Lily
Cyber Jar
Fiber Jar
Yata Garasu
Delinquent Duo
Painful Chioce
Cange of Heart
Raigeki
Harpie's Feather Duster
Imperial Decree

Upper Deck currently has no plans of banning, but when they get sober enough, they will do this banning on the NA boarders. For the arrogant YGO tourney players out there: NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH!!!! HA! GOTCHA!

For more information, or to find out why these were banned specifically (other than "they're all broken"), please go to:

I agree 100% with Edo with the sole exception that I thought MORE BANNING would be needed to completely balance out the game overall. Thank you very much for reading and happy deck making without insanely broken cards!

Actually, you should be rejoicing because you dont' have to go get all those rare cards again for tourneys (since you said you lost your cards). btw, Upper Deck has no plans of bannings YET, but it'll be here by next year's Regionals. Yes, angel decks, insect decks, etc. rejoice!!!!!!!!

Remember: banning these = good news (or as Edos say, "It's the best thing that happened to YGO since slice bread. Since sliced bread doesn't exist in YGO...").

YGO PLAYERS REJOICE THAT YOUR DECK WILL STAND A CHANCE IN TOURNEYS!!!!!

I'm really surprised at some of those, especially Change of Heart, Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster. I mean, take CoH for example. It's in a starter deck, AFAIK. How can they ban a starter card?

yeah i know its because people find to many good combos with them and all that and can overpower any oppsing

Oh well, it doesn't really affect me as I am not allowed to participate in official duels.

My parents won't let me. o_O I'm not allowed to buy cards, either. That's why my YGO deck is pirated, because I had to buy it cheap.

No Raigeki!? No Feather Duster!? No CoH!?
*sigh* Alright, then. My deck is still good without them anyways.

Yearrrrgh...oh well. I only play casually anyway, so I'd still use these if I ever get them. I just hope they don't ban Yata-Garasu and Injection Fairy Lily from casual play...those are two of my favorites...I wouldn't mind about Rageki and Harpie's Feather Duster...they're just so darned annoying. If stuff like Anti-Rageki and Gryphon Wing were more available, that would be different. But I suppose I don't mind this as I'm not on the tournament scene.

If they were to ban mirror force.I...I...would just shoot Konami. >_<

Mirror Force MIGHT be next to go. They're probably considering it for the next batch of banning that will likely take place in the near future. Again, this is a GOOD THING TO ALL PLAYERS, regardless of what the immediate outcome is.

And yes, I think they should continue the banning until the broken-ness is restricted at least.

I don't think they would ban cards for casual play, Kaga. For one thing, the only way to do that would be to go to everyone's house and destroy the cards. They would only be able to ban cards for official tournament play.

Takes months to get down here if they want to.

As for anti-rageki and wing: they're way too narrow to put in. You might as well use jammers and imperial orders (which will be banned) instead of this.

And ppl are making it so that it's like a big deal. It's not a big deal. In fact, YGO will be more FUN if they ban things anyway. I personally will enforce and then add on to the banning list in the area that I play in, just because YGO is so darn boring with all this brokeness around...
