My first Pokemon

"Delta Latias". I am very aware of the mistakes I made. I made this in Paint, and Paint alone (no other porgrams). The placing might be a little off but it's decent. Please rate it for a first try.....Oh, and I am aware that I accidentally chose Stage 1 instead of Basic.

Nice for a first try. But there are a couple of errors that I will tell you so you may improve on your next cards:

1.) Wrong Font usage. Did you use Gill Sans?
2.) The placement of Mist Ball's effect is wrong. It should be like Cloaking's effect.
3.) Text errors. It should say:
a. (For Cloaking) As long as Latias is your Active Pokemon, whenever your opponent's Pokemon attacks, flip a coin, if heads, that attack does nothing. You must discard 1 (Psychic) energy in order to use this (Body/Power).
b. (For Mist Ball) Flip 3 coins. If at least 2 are heads, put 3 damage counters on one of your opponent's Pokemon.
4.) Cloaking should be a Pokepower. Not a Pokebody.
5.) Mist Ball should do 0 damage. No 50, if it has an effect like that.
6.) Why is the symbols on the weakness overlapping?
7.) You didn't give credit! Please give credit. (It says 'Illus. by ???) Also, don't put the word 'by' in the Illus. text.
8.) There's no ID, card #, Rarity, and the set symbol.
9.) Wrong Blank Usage. The blank you should use for this card should be THIS (http://www.pokemonpalace.com/tcg/images/fakes/delta/adv-psy-basic-delta.jpg).
10.) The Psychic energy symbol on the effect of Cloaking should be small.

Some tips:

1.) You may download the 30-day Free trial of Photoshop. So you can use it.

okie
look at the tutorial firstly (and i know its the wrong style of card, but its the same placement), u have the right font there, QFred posted a Evolution circle tutorial have a look at that, the water and fighting really shouldn'y overlap each other and as i sed look at the tutorial
and GreatChikorita there really isn't a right blank usage

Okay, thanks. I did use the proper fonts in the tutorial as it said, so I dunno what the problem is. As for the Mist Ball thing, it's supposed to be slightly powerful. Not ex powerful, but pretty powerful. Especially since it's Latias' move that no other Pokemon (Except Smeargle?) can learn.

I made the symbols overlap each other because I thought it was supposed to if it had two weaknesses >_>

I don't really like the way that Blank is layed out. And if you're saying it because it's Delta Latias, it's just like an extra thing there. I was thinking of something else for it, like "Team Dragon's" or whatever fit, but I couldn't think of anything. I made this at 1:50 in the morning >_>

And I was tired and really needed to get to bed for Easter (I ended up going to sleep at 3:00...got only 4 hours of sleep before Egg Hunt...)....I didn't think the bottom part would matter >_>

BTW, I have Photoshop. I just have to find it >_>

Also, I have no idea who made that pic....I just found it on Google and trimmed and all sorts of stuff to make it fit as best as possible (A dab too big).

Unless you have nothing to say about it, or give some sort of rating of advice, I am going to consider this SPAM.

Okay. It is very important that you get the Illustrator. One of these days, when the artist does a search to see who uses there art, and sees your card, he/she will be made that you didn't give them credit. If you can't find who the illustrator is, then simply don't use the art. Use Photoshop when you find it and I guarentee your cards will look a lot better. However, there is no tutorial on these forums for those kind of blanks. Pokemon Zeo has a good tutorial that uses Paint Shop Pro for those blanks. 5/10. All mistakes have been pointed out.

Your also breaking one of the rules. However, I'm very lenient with this one. Only a repeated offense will get you a warning.
