It’s not just breeding moves that will hinder you from good movesets, but playing on Ruby prevents you from getting the important move tutors from other games.

A Flygon without Earthquake is a sad Flygon. Replace Dragonbreath with Dragon Claw and replace Screech with Fire Blast and you'll have a decent special Attacking Flygon with an Earthquake to boot.

You can't really do much with a Primeape in-game, since Earthquake is better for Flygon and you don't have easy access to Rock Slide except through breeding. You shouldn't use Primeape anyways, since you already have the far superior Medicham.

Medicham works best as a Choice Bander (you can get Choice Band after beating the Battle Tower several times). Even without that item, Medicham is a solely physical Pokemon will little time to spare for non-damaging moves. Your other two moves should be Rock Slide and Fake Out, but Rock Slide is move tutor and Fake Out is a bred-on move.


A team without 6 Pokemon is not a team. You'll also need something to replace Primeape. You need another special attacker and Pokemon with of Defense or Special Defense to fill the last two slots.

Umm, no, Medicham does not have any special attacks, so Calm Mind is useless.

Hello! Pure Power means that special attacks are useless because physical attacks will do way more damage.

Calm Mind is only good on Pokemon who are built to be special sweepers, and Medicham is not one of them.

you dont have to have a special attack 15 times the size of jupiter to use calm mind. Thats what its for, raising it
