Hello everybody, welcome to the thread where you can learn some norwegian!
*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*Learn Norwegian!+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*
In Norwegian you'll find the letters Æ, Ø & Å. Here's how you say them:
Æ=AE
Ø=OE
Å=AA
Here's some sentaces:
He ate icecream=Han spiste iskrem
He=Han
Ate=Spiste
Icecream=Iskrem
She was surfing on the net=Hun surfet på internett
[In norwegian, "The" is moved in the end of the word and changed to "En" "Et" or "A"]
She=Hun
was surfing=Surfet
On=På
The net=Nettet

Here's the norwegian alphabeth:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZÆØÅ

If you want to experiment some with norwegian you should use this translator(Click here) (http://www.translation-guide.com/free_online_translators.php?from=English&to=Norwegian)

Norwegian is fun. 5 Stars

however, its quite silly that you try to teach us norwegian
yet at the end of the lesson you link to a translator. lol I would
think that ruins the point of learning the above.

I just thought that it would be a little hard to write every Norwegian word that exists:P
Well... The link is there only if you wonder how you say something in norwegian.

If there's a word or a sentence and you wanna know what it is in Norwegian, post it.

I find that pronounciation guide somewhat misguiding..:\
i.e. the Norwegian -N is pronounced like the English -N, the Norwegian -U is pronounced as -OU like in L[OU], the Norwegian -O is certainly not pronounced as the English -O, the -J would be pronounced as the word YEAH, and so on..

Nice effort though:)
