Intro:

This RPG takes place in an alternate universe where the games, show and comics do not. However many of the same places, regions and islands are still here.

Plot:

It is said in ancient myth that the end of the world will come as a glitch. Not many understood what that meant and because of that it has been ignored for many years.
In this world live creatures called Pokemon. Humans and Pokemon have lived, worked, and played together in harmony for ages. Nevertheless, there are still numerous mysteries surrounding them.
Recently there has been reports of sudden outbursts of vicious Pokemon. Though not frequent, these Pokemon seem to target major cities and Power Plants. The Pokemon seem to be under the influence of something greater than themselves.
Trainers now embark on an epic journey that takes them around the world, underground and across the sea – all the while discovering new and amazing things about Pokemon. During these travels, Trainers will use their experience to become a great Pokemon Master!
What lies ahead for our young heroes? And who is influencing Wild Pokemon to do horrible things? Only time, courage and teamwork can tell in the exciting adventure of…

Appearence: a bit of a toned body. His skin is slightly tanned from all the time he spends traveling. His eyes are a light golden brownish-red and his hair is dark black. His hair is a bit spiky at the top, but really messy. Around his neck is a gunmetal silver necklace or pendant in the shape of a crown. He has a scar coming from his right shoulder blade to his left rib on his back. His clothes are dark gray cargo-pants, black long-sleeve shirt with a dragon inprint on the back, and black and red sneakers. On his hands are some black fingerless gloves.

Personality: He is the quite type, though he talks rarely to people he has met. The only person he ever really spoke to was his two sisters. He doesn't question people about their lives and their history; as long as people don't question him. He has no real relationship with anyone except his pokemon. He speaks his mind, but considering he is a quite person, it's a bit hard to notice him. When he does make friends with people, they can find he is very trustworthy, yet he does seem to infuriate them alot. If he's angry, most people find that when they're around him that they sense a dark aura coming from him.

History: Scottura was raised by his mother in a household of 12 boys and 2 girls. His father left them when he was only 3. He doesn't care for his brothers much, as they remind him of his father. His two sisters and he, are triplets, which you can tell because they look alike. Knows nothing about his past when he was little, but he was told he was very special, and he has special blood in him.

Group: None known, but some say she has a connection to an ancient secret society dedicated to protecting something they call the "Dragonic Blood".
POKéMON: Salamence (Ruby), Blaziken (Flare), Dragonite (Serena).
Appearence: Long green hair, blue eyes, usualy wears a white trench coat (similar to Seto Kaiba's from Yu-Gi-Oh), a blue tank top, and blue jeans, she also has some strange markings covering most of her body.
Personality: Rain is usualy dark and distant, but if you get her trust, she will be a loyal friend.
History: Rain is a mysterious trainer from Blackthorn City, no one knows much about her past, other than that she has been known to be in contact with a group that calls themselves "Team Draconia," which is rumored to have an ancient duty to protecting the legendary Dragon Pokemon.

Extra: Rain's markings are almost identical to Rayquaza's.

Pokemon: Houndoom, Umbreon, Sneasel
Appearance: Jake has short dark hair, dark brown eyes, and wears a dark gray cloak. He conceals most of himself in the cloak, but if he reveals himself, he is pale and isn't very muscular. If he is annoyed, he shoots the problem person a cold glare as though he can harm that person by staring. A small black chain holds the cloak on, and he wears brown tennis shoes. A small loop under the cloak that holds his black and red Pokeballs, which he painted to look darker. He sometimes wears regular clothes instead of the cloak on very hot days.
Personality: Jake's personality ranges from secretive and untrusting, to enraged and furious. He is always suspicious of other people before he knows them. If you can get to know him, he can get along with you, but will always try to avoid huge friendliness. He is often lost in his thoughts, or daydreaming. He spends a lot of time training because he avoids other people for the most part.
History: Jake left Sootopolis City on his journey, and became lost in the woods without food for at least a day. Then, a Houndoom showed up and led him to shelter and a berry orchard. Ever since then, the Houndoom was Jake's constant companion, whom he trusted completely.
Rival: Almost anyone who he ever challenged
Extra: Only raises Dark Pokemon, wouldn't think of capturing anything else

Jake was training his Houndoom in the woods, preparing to win their next battle. Houndoom had already torched two wild Pidgeottos and a Spinarak. However, today seemed slightly different than usual. Jake payed close attention for the next Pokemon to come out of the woods. It was a Weepinbell. He looked closely and realized that it was glaring at Houndoom. Usually when he trained, his foes would be momentarily petrified with fear on sight of the Pokemon. Jake was snapped out of his realization when Houndoom howled with pain after a direct hit from Weepinbell's Razor Leaf. He ordered a Flamethrower and, after a direct hit, the Flytrap Pokemon fled into the forest. Jake sighed. At least now he had an idea why the wild Pokemon he trained his Dark types against so often were putting up more of a fight now.

Rain is resting nearby, she had watched the battle, and was rather intreagued by the Dark trainer.

Jake recalled Houndoom back into its Pokeball, and suddenly got a sinking feeling that something wasn't right... Could he hear buzzing in the distance?
No, it couldn't be. He hadn't had Houndoom attack one... What if they heard the Flamethrower? The buzzing was getting louder... Maybe they saw the Weepinbell as it fled from the flames? Then Jake saw what he had dreaded: a swarm of Beedrill began to emerge from the forest! He didn't have time to send Houndoom back out to fight them, and he couldn't outrun them. All he could do was brace himself and prepare for the worst...

"Flare, Overheat Attack!" A shout from nearby is heard, a Blaziken aims a huge burst of fire at the Beedrill as Rain runs over to Jake.

Jake is startled as the Beedrill doesn't reach him. As he looks up, he catches a slight glimpse of a fire attack. Had his Houndoom broke out of its Pokeball to save him? He didn't see it. Lost in his thoughts again, it took him several moments to notice the green-haired girl in a white trenchcoat standing over him.

"Are you alright?" Rain asks of him.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake carefully looks over Rain. Judging by her clothing, she was not from around these parts. No, definitely a traveller. Though she was a stranger, he decided that since it seemed to have been her who saved him from the Beedrill, he could trust her. At last, he spoke. "We need to get out of here. Those Beedrill came after me just from seeing or hearing my Houndoom's attack. After getting hit like that, they will not be happy when they regroup. Let's go."

Rain recalls her Blaziken, and tosses another pokeball. "Go Ruby!" she shouts, and a Salamence appears, Rain climbs onto the dragon's back. "Need a lift?"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stares in awe at Rain's dragon for a moment, then regains his composure. "Sure. I'll go with you wherever you're headed, I guess, but we have to leave now, before the Beedrill come back!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Ruby, Fly!" Rain says to the dragon, and they take off just secounds before the Beedrill return. "That was too close."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake turned to Rain on her Salamence's back. "So... did you see me training my Houndoom? Did you see that Weepinbell's expression? Usually, they freeze in fear on sight of Houndoom, but they just seemed... angry..." Jake seemed worried by his own words.

"Something is going on in that forest, thats why the Beedrill attacked so rapidly, and why I came here," Rain says. Well, I actualy came here because my leader said that I might find a clue to who my family was, but so far I've found nothing, she thinks.

"Something's been going on in the forest that affects the Pokemon?" Jake said. "But I train in that forest every day! Why didn't anything happen to my Pokemon?"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Maybe it only has an effect on wild Pokemon," Rain suggests, Ruby seems a little unnerved as they pass over a section of the forest. "But I know one thing, its been happening all over the world, not just here. Pokemon are far more intuned with nature than humans are, its possible that they sense something."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"Hmmm." Jake was in deep thought. "Interesting. I think we've gotten far enough away from the forest now. Maybe we should land."

[DragonQueenRachel]

Rain nods, and Ruby starts her descent, once we've landed, Rain takes out a cell phone, and calls someone. "This is Rain Skylark, I'm sorry to disturb you sir, but it happened here, just like everywhere else, wild Pokemon suddenly losing control, I need answers, and I need them now," she says into the phone, and pauses for a minute. "Sir, you can't be serious, the glitch is happening?"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake was utterly bewildered. "Huh? What are you talking about? The glitch?
I'm not following. Does it have something to do with the Beedrill?

Rain hangs up the phone. "No one knows what the Glitch is, but they say it will bring about the end of the world, I just got off the phone with my superior, and thats what he said."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake was stunned. "The... the end of the world? But... then... what are we supposed to do? We can't just sit back and watch. Although, I see that you never were in the first place... but what can we do?" Jake was dumbfounded and confused, and yet he was postive that something could be done.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"I don't know what we can do no one knows how the world will end, but something has gone wrong with the Pokemon, something terribly wrong, I can feel it," she says, closing her eyes. "I have a special connection with Pokemon, I'm not sure why or how, I think it has something to do with these."

She removes one of her arms from her trench coat, and you get a glimpse of the markings that cover most of her body, which are similar to the markings of the legendary dragon Rayquaza..

"I was born with these markings, or at least I think I was, I never new my family."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake puzzled over this for a while. "Do you think the markings mean anything? They seem... important. Like a symbol of some sort."

[DragonQueenRachel]

"My superior seems to know something, but he never tells me," Rain says. "Sorry, I'm a member of a sort of secret society dedicated to the protection of the Legendary Pokemon, and some say of a bloodline of an ancient race supposedly descended from dragons."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake yawns. "It's getting dark. Maybe we should sleep. I can let my Pokemon out in case something comes to attack us." Jake throws three Pokeballs and out come Houndoom, Sneasel, and Umbreon. "Maybe you should call yours out to, just in case."

"Good idea," Rain says, letting out her Salamence, Blaziken, and Dragonite.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"Well," Jake sighed, tired from all the day's happenings, "good night. I have a feeling we'll need our strength for tomorrow..."

Rain nods. "Oh, I never caught your name."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"My name is Jake Silver, from Sootopolis City. And you are?"

"Rain Skylark, from Blackthorn City, nice to meet you," Rain says.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake nodded. "Same here." Jake yawns again. "Good night, Rain. Though we may not be able to say the same for the morning..."

Rain nods, and takes some camping supplies out of her bag, and sets up a tent with her Pokemon's help. "There's another tent in the bag if you want one," she says, getting inside.

Jake shakes his head. "Thanks, but I prefer to sleep outside. Under the stars." Jake yawns again and drifts off to sleep.

"Okay," Rain says, and gets situated, and soon is fast asleep.

Jake wakes up as the sun rises, taking in his surroundings. A green field with a few trees visible near the horizon... Suddenly, he remembers where he is. He looks around and hears Rain, who, although she is in a tent, sounds as though she is also waking up. Jake recalls his three Dark Pokemon, and makes sure their Pokeballs were within easy reach. He wouldn't be caught off-gaurd today.

Rain wakes up with a yawn, and exits her tent. "Good morning."

Jake turns to Rain. "Good morning. I suppose you have an idea as to where we should go now? We could use a destination." Jake was obviously still
dead-set on trying to do at least something. He couldn't stand being helpless

"I have orders to return to Blackthorn City," Rain says. "You are free to come along if you want."

Appearence: Tommy hast jet black hair with messy spikes. He wears white baggy insulated pants with a black double-lined stripe that is located on both sides of the pants. With the pants he wears a black loose belt. He wears a black t-shirt with a white Gas Retro Leather Jacket. The jacket is left unzipped and has two black stripes on each side on the front going from the neck down to the the end of the jacket. It also has black double-lines on each arm just right above the elbows. With this he wears white athletic sneakers with black soles, achilles notch and three stripes that come from the sole to midway of the shoe on both sides with black laces. He also has white fingerless gloves with a black pokeball symbol on top of the glove. Tommy is big but not fat. He is actually quite lean in a sense of big kids. He also has brown eyes.
Personality: Tommy is a nice kid that could be a bit oblivious or dumb at times.
History: Unlike most "cool" kids, Tommy is really into computers and is in fact somewhat of a hacker. He is also one of the top notch kids in his Trainer School. However he felt school was nothing compared to real combat so he ventured off around the world with his pokemon. Believe it or not but he has trained his pokemon to do more then just fighting. He even taught his Porygon and Alakazam on helping him with computers, especially hacking. During his travels he snuck into Cerulean Cave to see what the big deal was and discovered that it held powerful pokemon that seemed to behave unusual. As a matter of fact, ever since that day his pokemon sometimes won't obey his every command. Nevertheless they seem to be doing better now.

Extra: Tommy, like his pokemon, sometimes doesn't feel like himself as if there is something within him.

Jake turns to Rain. "Sure, why not? I had actually been considering going to Blackthorn anyway. There are some strong trainers there. I had been looking for someone to battle..."

"In that case, how about a practice match?" Rain asks.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake grins. "Sure," he says, already pulling out a Pokeball. He figures he'll use something kind of neutral first, so he'd know what he was up against. "Go, Umbreon!" Umbreon comes out of the ball and asumes a battle stance.

"Go Flare!" Rain shouts, and her Blaziken bursts from the Pokeball. "Now attack, double kick!"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Umbreon reeled back, due to the powerful Blaziken's attack, but came back, partly due to its high defense and partly because it was highly trained. Jake laughed. "Ha! You thought using a fighting type would give you a sure advantage? We trained for that! Umbreon, use Psychic!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Smart move," Rain mutters. "Flare, Protect," she says, and a golden glow envelopes the fire/fighting pokemon. "Now use Sky Uppercut!"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake was startled as his Umbreon went flying through the air. He regained his composure and called, "Umbreon, Faint Attack!" Jake grinned as Umbreon vanished from sight.

Only one way out of this, Rain thinks. "Flare, when it appears again, use Sky Uppercut!"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Unfortunately for Flare, Umbreon appears again behind it, and immediately uses Double Team. A bewildered Blaziken waits for orders from its trainer, though Jake is obviously preparing another attack. His sneaky grin tips his hand to Rain.

"Well, if your going to try that tactic, there's only one thing to do, Flare, use your Overheat Attack!" Rain commands, and Flare sends a burst of fire all around the arena, barely missing both trainers, but hitting Umbreon head on.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Umbreon goes flying through the air and crash-lands. Barely still in the fight, it is ready for one last attack; Jake calls out Umbreon's last-ditch attack: "Confuse Ray." Jake shields his eyes as a multicolored swirl fills the air undodgably towards Flare.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Flare, Protect!" Rain shouts, and the golden glow envelopes Flare again, protecting her from the Confuse Ray. "Now, lets finish this, Earthquake!"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake yelled, "Umbreon, Moonlight," but before the Pokemon could react, the shaking ground knocked it over and it finally fainted. Jake gritted his teeth and recalled Umbreon. He knew the Blaziken would only have a stronger advantage on this one, but he had an idea. "Go, Sneasel!" The Dark/Ice Pokemon emerged from the ball with a wicked grin on its face. It eagerly awaited its owner's commands.

"Flare, use your Blaze Kick attack!" Rain commands, and the Blaziken comes charging at Sneasel.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"Sneasel, Detect!" As Sneasel's eyes gleam, it smoothly dodges Flare's Blaze Kick, leaving the Blaziken wide open. Jake called an attack, the perfect counter to Flare's abilities. "Sneasel, Icy Wind!" Sneasel blew a breath of crystal air at Flare, who was still recovering from the failed Blaze Kick. Flare was pounded by the Ice attack, and the attack's speed lowering effect took place.

Rain tosses two Lum Berries to Flare, who eats them quickly. "Now lets try this again, use Overheat!" she commands, and Flare sends another enormous blast of fire, this time at Sneasel.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

The fire approaches Sneasel at an alarming rate, and though the agile Ice Type tries its best, it gets slightly clipped by the stream of flame. Sneasel scowls. Jake calls out Faint Attack. But this time it would work.

"Flare, when he attemps to attack, use Sky Uppercut!" Rain commands.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

While Sneasel is still invisible, Jake calls for Beat Up. When the Pokemon emerges to attack, it is not Sneasel but Umbreon, who takes a good whack at Flare and disappears. Next Houndoom appears, and attacks and disappears and annoys Flare to no end. Finally, Sneasel materializes and, before the Blaziken can react, uses a powerful Slash. Jake grins as his combo works, and at the expressions on both Flare's and Rain's faces.

"Flare, are you okay?" Rain asks of her Pokemon, looking nervous, Flare was her best weapon against Ice Pokemon.

"Blaze," Flare says, nodding to her trainer.

"I'm impressed, but Flare has been trained to take the worst of an attack, and still come out on top, now lets go, Fire Blast!" Rain shouts, and Flare sends a flaming star right at Jake this time. If he wants to save himself, there's only two logical courses of action, jumping out of the way, and sending his Pokemon in the line of fire.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake frowns. What a cheap tactic. "Sneasel, Blizzard." This attack is also not for the direct purpose of attacking Flare, but to blow the Fire Blast off course. The star veers off, just barely missing Jake's left side. "Don't... even... try... that... again..." He was confident, but he still has to recover his breath after such a near miss. "Sneasel, Ice Beam, straight at the ground right under you." Sneasel obeys, and is quickly surrounded by a shell of ice." Jake then seems to signal, but it is a secret code that he had taught to his Pokemon, and only Sneasel and him understand.

"I'm sorry about that, you might say it was a test on your reaction time," Rain says.

Tommy is right over a hill near the two trainers battling. He seems to be holding a Town Map and a confused look.

"Okay.. where am I? That right turn at Mahogany should of brought me to Golden Rod.. shouldn't it?" He asked himself confused as he stared at his map trying to figure out if he is going the right way.

Then it hit him. He turned his map the other way. He was holding it upside down this entire time.

"Oh... great!" He said to himself as he slapped his hand to his head.

"I'm lost!" He told himself followed by a desperate look for help.

He sighed and slowly began to walk around once more until he heard some sort of commotion. He raced across the hill he was on and looked down from the small hill and saw two trainers having a battle. The battle seemed to be of a Sneasel and a Blaziken. Tommy has seen a Sneasel before but he has never seen a Blaziken and without a Pokedex, he has no idea what it even is.

"Look at that." He spoked to himself.

He watched the battle and saw the new Pokemon do a Fire Attack as the Sneasel created a shield of ice around it.

"Whoa, I haven't seen anything like that before." He said getting excited by the intense battle.

Just then an idea came to him.

"Hmm.. maybe these Trainers know where I am. Maybe when they are done I could ask." He thought to himself.

He looked around and slowly went down the hill while looking at the battle. He was far enough to not be hurt or interfere with the battle.

Jake grinned, and in its shield Sneasel grinned too. Both were awaiting their oppurtunity to strike...

"Flare, melt that Ice with a Flamethrower attack!" Rain commands, and Flare sends a blast of fire at Sneasel.

The ice dome is melted, but Sneasel has vanished into a hole. The secret signal was for Dig. Sneasel pops up directly underneath the Blaziken, making sure this move hit without tactics, as this was Sneasel's secret weapon against Fire types and a miss would ruin any other chances. Jake just watched as Sneasel popped up beneath Flare, and laughed as the hit was landed.

Glider is mace'sa strongest Pokemon. He is used mostly in the toughest of battles and Mace trvels on Gliders back to get from city to city.

Appearance: He has short black spikey hair. Mace has brownish black eyes. A Black cape that reaches down to his feet. Mace's uniform is a Redish color and has long sleevs. his pant's are a balckish blue with black shoes.

Personality: Mace can be tempered at sometimes but is mostly calm and happy.

History: Mace is lives alone ever since mace was 16 his Parent's settled in Kanto and his Sister became a trainer in jhoto. He Is usally only seen Battleing, Training, or Traveling.

It was a normal day for Mace. He was about to walk home when a Wanna Be trainer passed by.
"Hey it's that freaky Trainer!" The trainer snorted. "Let's battle!"
Mace just smile thinking about how stupid the trainer was. Then I got ready to battle! "Go Barker!" He yelled.
Mace's Growlith appered on the field! The trainer scowled at me and threw a Poke ball on the field. "Go Snorut!" He yelled as his Pokemon took the field.
Then the Battle began!

"Flare!" Rain shouts as the fire pokemon is knocked back. "Are you alright?"

"Blaze," Flare says weakly.

"Flare, return," Rain says. "You deserve a long rest. Okay, I admit, that was a good move, but it won't work again, I choose you, Ruby!"

She tosses her secound pokeball, and her Salamence bursts out.

"Now lets avenge Flare, use Hyper Beam!" Rain shouts, and Ruby sends a burst of powerful energy at Sneasel.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stares coldly at the new foe. "What a waste of a Hyper Beam," he mutters. "Sneasel, use Detect." With the help of detect, the agile Pokemon nimbly jumped away from the powerful attack. Jake sighed, as now Detect was out of PP and he ran out of Ethers and Leppa Berries. "Use Double Team. Spread out the copies." In an instant it looked like there was a Sneasel gathering since they were spaced, but they still formed the usual circle.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Ruby, Earthquake Attack!" Rain commands, and the ground around them starts shaking. "You see, Double Team isn't so usefull against an attack that hits the entire field, such as Earthquake or Overheat."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Sneasel's copies disappear, and Sneasel flies through the air. Jake grits his teeth. He orders an attack: "Sneasel, use Blizzard, like we trained." Sneasel blows a Blizzard attack, but instead of a straight blast, it swirls around and around. Jake grins evily. "You were right Rain, attacks that hit the entire field are great!"

"But not the sky, Ruby, before the Blizzard hits, use fly!" Rain commands, and the dragon flies up into the sky. "Now hit it with an Ember attack!"

Ruby roars, and sends a small burst of fire down at Sneasel.

Tommy saw the new pokemon emerge. It's some sort of dragon pokemon.

"Whoa thats awesome. That trainer has some cool pokemon." Tommy thought to himself.

He watched more of the battle as it began to drag on. Just then a wild pokemon appeared. It seemed mad and confused as if it was unable to control itself. Its a wild spearow pecking madly at its surroundings, it found Tommy and began to chase after him.

"What the!" He yelled as the pokemon began to peck at him.

In a desperate reach, Tommy found his pokeball and threw it to the ground where in an instant red flash came a Gyarados!

"Levitor! Go!!" Tommy commanded.

The Gyarados roared with other wild pokemon fleeing the scene of the giant water type.

"LEVITOR, BITE ATTACK NOW!" Tommy yelled as the Spearow chased after him.

The Gyarados roared once more and feriously bit into the Spearow. The bird type made a loud "Gaw" noise as the vicious snake like pokemon chomped down into the Spearow while violently shaking its head from side to side where then when it was done, tossed the Spearow to the side where it laid knocked out. The Gyarados roared in its victory.

"Good jo--" Before Tommy could finish his sentence he could see a whole flock of angry Spearow coming his way guided by a Fearow.

"This isn't good..." He muttered to himself.

However his Gyarados did not seem worried at all. It seemed to get pumped and ready as if it were about to go on a rampage.

Tommy needed to think of something fast, otherwise the flock of angry Spearows would not only bring harm to him but the other two trainers and nearby towns.

"Alright... Levitor this is it! HYPER BEAM ATTACK! NOW!" Tommy commanded.

Without a moment to spare the angry Gyarados charged the attack and shot a giant beam of light from its mouth. The attack seemed to have bright up its enviorment entirely as it was quite devasting. It just barely missed the Sneasel and Salamance that were fighting and went straight into the space inbetween the two pokemon. The beam envolped the flock of angry pokemon entirely with a flash of light. After the attack was over, the remaining of the flock which was only 2 Spearows and the Fearow fled leaving a whole spread of fainted spearows across the ground.

The Gyarados roared in its win and began to stomp its body on to the ground in delight creating small tremors from its massive size.

"Good job Levitor, Return!" Tommy said as he picked up his pokeball towards Levitor and zapped it back into its ball.

Afterwords the tired Trainer sat down and took some deep breaths.

"Geez.. what was up with that?" He said followed by a pant as he tried to catch his breath,

"The Pokemon seem so crazed..." He said to himself as he laid down staring at the sky as he caught his breath and began to calm down from the battle between a whole sky-filled flock of Spearows that could of destroyed a small town.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake and Sneasel were distracted by some kind of commotion off in the distance, and when Jake looks back at the battlefield, Sneasel is being pounded with Ember, and the ground between the two Pokemon is scorched in a way similar to Hyper Beam. Drats, Jake thinks, because Sneasel isn't very endurant and won't stand too many attacks like that. Sneasel is his best bet against Rain's dragons, so it better at least get something done. Jake is suddenly struck by an idea; "Sneasel, Ice Beam at the ground again!" As before, Sneasel is enveloped by an icy shield. Jake sends a different signal to Sneasel, but what it means is unclear, since what Sneasel is doing can't be seen through the dome.

"Not this time, Ruby, Sunny Day!" Rain shouts, and the sun grows brighter, melting the ice.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake grins evilly some more as the ice grows thinner... and thinner... and then, when it gets thin enough, it just... explodes. The ice shatters from the pressure inside, as Sneasel was filling the ice dome with Blizzard attack, which was now blowing extremely hard in every direction.

Not bad, but I think its time to finish this, and use his own blizard against him, Rain thinks. "Ruby, use Hyper Beam straight into the blizzard!"

The dragon roars again, and sends a huge energy blast down through the blizzard, the force of the Hyper beam causes the Blizzard to center on one spot, the same spot the powerfull attack was aiming for, Sneasel.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake sighs again. Tough luck Rain, but that was another wasted Hyper Beam. Jake used this technique often in tough battles, and Sneasel was KO'd upon the dome's destruction. Jake almost feels sorry for Rain and Ruby, as while Ruby focuses on repelling the Blizzard, the attack technically isn't over; Jake covers under his cloak as shards of ice fall from the sky all over the dragon (and the unconcious Sneasel).

"Something's gone wrong," Rain says in realization, suddenly the winds around her and Ruby begins blowing harder than ever before as Ice and snow is deflected all around them, Rain has colapsed to the ground, her markings glowing a bright green. "Whats happening to me?"

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stares in confusion. "R-rain! What's going on? What's going on?" Sneasel was barely conscious and somehow found a revive dropped on the ground, and grabbed it to restore its health. Then, it too notices Rain, and starts to freak out. The ice stops falling, and Jake runs over to Rain. "I guess its my turn now. Are you OK?"

"The sky dragon, somehow, he came, Rayquaza," she gasps out, her markings glowing even brighter, she then faints.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake didn't know what to do; he was in the middle of nowhere, the person who knew where they were was knocked out, he couldn't see where to get help, and he didn't know how to pilot Salamence. He decides to let out Houndoom and use a Revive on Umbreon, but... what about what Rain said? Something about Rayquaza?

Ruby finally lands nearby, and begins speaking, in human speech. "Rain, is she alright?" she asks in a soothing tone that shows that she really cares for the girl.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stares at the Salamence. Was... it just talking? Jake can't believe it. And, confused though he is at talking to a Salamence, he answered "I... don't know. She just..." Jake doesn't even know what is going on, why is he trying to explain?

[DragonQueenRachel]

"We must get her to the master," Ruby says. "She has come in contact with the sky guardian too soon, the master will know what to do."

She kneels down so you can get onto her back.

"Come, Blackthorne is just a short flight away," Ruby says.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Still very overwhelmed, Jake gets onto the dragon with Rain, and recalls his Pokemon. Jake didn't know what to think; Rain glows, Rain passes out, Rain's Salamence can talk... he thought it a wonder he didn't faint.

Rain nudges the young dragon trainer with her snout. "You must never tell Rain what I am about to tell you," she says as we take off.

[Stantler]

Tommy wakes up as he hears a dragon roar over the distance. As he sits up he sees that the two trainers have started to leave already. This is bad for him since he was going to ask them where he is since he is lost.

"AH!" Tommy groaned as he jumped up.

He began racing to the trainers yelling,

"HEY! HEY!!!" He yelled hoping to get their attention.

However they seemed to have started to take off already and the flaps of the great wings of the Salamance seemed to have overpower Tommy's yelling making him unnoticable.

"Oh great.." He said smacking his hands to the sides of his body.

Tommy then put his hand over his face and rubbed his eyes and sighed deeply.

"This is terrific, I am stranded in the middle of nowhere and my only chance of directions has flown away." He told himself.

Just then it hit him.

"What if I follow them? Maybe they can lead me to a town." He thought to himself.

He began to follow the trail of the flying pokemon to see where it leads...

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake looks down, and is surprised at what he sees. "Uhhh, Ruby?" he says, still quite uncomfortable talking to the dragon Pokemon, "There's a guy back there waving his arms around and screaming like a lunatic. He looks like he could use a hand. But maybe you should tell me whatever it is you want to tell me first..." Jake was still dumbfounded, and half-aware of what was going on.

Ruby nods, and turns around. "Rain is the last of an ancient bloodline spaning back many years, some say that this bloodline is that of Rayquaza, the sky guardian," Ruby says, and pulls into a dive.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake nods, though he is just as confused as before. As Ruby makes its descent, he realizes that they are going to pick that guy up. Jake reminds himself to act coldly until he has proof that this person isn't dangerous.

Ruby lands near where Tommy is, giving a small growl as a greeting.

Mace was at a near by bench sitting and watching the sceen. "Something strange is going on over there." He said to himself. "Go Glider he yelld sending out his Flygon. Mace hopped on Flygon and flew into the sky. "I'll stay out of sight and follow them for now. He said.

Ruby had picked up his sent quickly, her senses where highly accurate. "We have a newcommer," Ruby says in a low growl to Jake, and eases him off her back as well as the unconsious form of Rain. "You stay here," she says, and takes off towards Mace.

Mace notice Ruby coming toward. "Glider watch out! we've been spotted! Mace yells as his Flygon quickly turns around and tries to escape.

Ruby just shakes her head. "Humans," she mutters.

Jake sees Ruby fly off, and is apparently left with Tommy. Jake stands quietly, and mostly hopes Tommy will just stay quiet so he won't have to talk. Just to make sure he isn't attacked or anything, Jake sends out Umbreon.

Glider flys into some trees and lands. "Maybe the salamance stopped following us." Mace says to his Flygon. "Gon..." Glider replys. As if to understand Glider Mace sighs. "Okay we'll gp back out again." Mace gewts on Gliders back and they take the air. "I don't see it. Mace whispers. "yet.."

Ruby had been circling far above them hidden in the clouds. She concentrates suddenly on Mace's mind. Sorry if I startled you, she says telepathicaly.

"Who said that?" Mace asks curiously looking around. "Gon?" Glider says looking at Mace. Suddelny Mace looks up and notices Ruby. "Was that you?" Mace asks nervously.

Got it in one, the dragon says smiling. I've been trained in many different arts, including the ability to communicate telepathicaly when you are too far away to speak to, or in the midst of the enemy.

[Houndoom1]

"Amazing!" Mac says surpisingly. Mace turns to Glider which is a signal to land on the ground. Glider gets to ground level and Mace gets off his back. "Glider return!" Mace commands.

[DragonQueenRachel]

Ruby lands next to him. "Hello," she says in english.

[Houndoom1]

Mace was relivieved he wasn't in any danger. "What happened back there he asked. "There was a battle then your trainer collapsed. What was wrong?"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Have you ever heard of Rayquaza?" Ruby asks.

[Houndoom1]

"I've read about it." Mace replies. "it's suppose to be a really powerful dragon Pokemon right?"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"A legendary dragon," Ruby says. "My trainer, Rain, has an ancient connection to Rayquaza, but she wasn't supposed to come in contact with the Pokemon yet, but while I was in that battle, I saw Rayquaza watching, and something hapened, I'm not sure what."

Her long tail swishes back and forwarth as she thinks.

"Do you find it odd, talking to a Pokemon like this?"

[Houndoom1]

"We'll yeah." Mace replied. You're acutally the first Pokemon that I've ever seen speak english."

"Was I interuppting anything?" Mace asked. "You were flying in the air when you stopped to talk to a trainer that's when you notice me."

[DragonQueenRachel]

"No, nothing at all," Ruby says, and begins glowing lightly, after a moment standing in her place is a woman with long blue hair, and wearing a red trench coat and a black dress underneath.

Jake is still standing uncomfortably near Tommy when he sees a bright flash far off in the distance. What could that have been? he asked himself, still more confused than ever.

"What's happening!?" Mace asks.

He moves a few steps back just to be careful.

[DragonQueenRachel]

Ruby places a hand against a tree, breathing heavily. "I can transform into a human being for a short amount of time, 2 hours to be exact, but it takes a lot out of me at first," she says, brushing her long blue hair back.

[Houndoom1]

Mace was shocked. "I..Is there any thing you can't d.. do?" He asked in nervously.

"This has got to be the weridest day of my life!" Mace said to himself.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"My abilities are very limited, most elite Pokemon in my organization have only one one of the abilities, but I'm one of the few who has all 3," Ruby says. "Did I ever introduce myself?"

[Stantler]

Tommy can't stay quiet, it's not his style. He has to talk.

"Hey, thanks for the help back there! I thought I was lost for good!" He told Jake.

The trainer seemed to act cold and unaware of his presense.

Tommy then wiped his hand on the side of his leg and held it towards Jake,

"Sorry, 'bout that..the name's Tommy. Put it there" He said waiting for a handshake.

However he never recieved one. Tommy slowly put his hand down and cleared his throat.

"Anyway where are you headin'? I need to get to a town..." Tommy slowly stopped talking and paused as there was some sort of bright flash in the distance.

He stood there confused like Jake.

"Uh.. what the heck is that?" Tommy asked as he began to cover his eyes with his right hand from the bright flash.

[DragonQueenRachel]

Ruby glances in their direction. "Follow me if you want," she says to Mace, and walks off in the direction of Tommy, Jake, and the still unconsious Rain.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake turns to Tommy. He chooses to reply: "I apologise, but I have as much idea where we are as you. One person knows our location." Jake gestures toward Rain. "And she is unconscious now. The Salamence, Ruby, can get to Blackthorn City, it's where Rain lives, but it took off somewhere. All we can do for now is wait for Ruby to come back. By the way, while I battled, I saw scorch marks on the ground, and they didn't come from Ruby's Ember. Would those be your fault?" In a less harsh tone, he then says, "my name is Jake Silver. And you would be?"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"She's not as far away as you think," a young woman says emerging from the woods, her voice is the same as Ruby's. "Of course, your more used to me in my regular form."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stammers uncontrollably. Umbreon begins to growl in alarm at the "stranger." "C-calm d-d-down Umb-b-breon... It-t-t's just R-ruby." Jake isn't exactly feeling calm himself; the last thing he expected was... well, this.
He reached the peak of his confusion as of yet.

[DragonQueenRachel]

Ruby laughs brushing her long blue hair back. "I get that reaction a lot in my human form," she says, and kneels down by the unconshious form of her trainer. "Give me a moment, and I can have her awake."

[Stantler]

"Ah!" Tommy said pleased.

He shook Jake's hand

"Yeah. I'm Tommy, nice to meet yah'" He said.

"Oh yeah... that was my fault... wild Pokemon been acting weird and..." Tommy then noticed Rain

"Wait.. what happened to her?" He asked Jake.

"Is she sick? Is that why you're trying to get her home at Blackthorn?"

Just then a girl appeared,

"Who the.." Tommy asked as a long blue haired woman came towards them.

She's pretty good looking.

"Wow, way to go Jake! Nice friend you got here." Tommy said smiling and smacked Jake's back.

"And who might you be?" Tommy asked the woman.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake doesn't speak, can't speak, as he continues to stare at what apparently was Ruby. Umbreon also seems to have realized what was going on, and began to stare as well.

"My name is Ruby," Ruby says, glancing at him. She places her hand on Rain's forhead, and both girls begin glowing, Rain a light green, Ruby a light blue.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake stammers a bunch of unintelligible nonsense under his breath. He is becoming quite pale, even compared to normal for him. Umbreon started licking his hand to make sure he was all right.

[Stantler]

"Ruby huh? What a beautiful name for such a lovely girl" Tommy said, he obviously likes Ruby already but has no idea that she is a actually a Pokemon.

"Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name's Tommy." He said flexing a muscle to try and impress her.

However he was unnoticed as Ruby began to go near Rain which they both glew in bright colors.

"What the.. what are you doing? That girl's sick, right?" Tommy asked confused.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake turned to face Tommy. Without stammering this time, he said "don't worry, I have no idea what's going on either." He sort of half grinned at Tommy, despite the circumstances of the moment.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Powers of the earth, wind, and sky, lend me thy strength, and fulfill the chosen one's destiny," Ruby chants under her breath.

[Stantler]

Tommy leaned towards Jake and whispered to him,

"What the heck is up with the strange chanting?" Tommy asked.

He then turned back and spoke out loud to Ruby,

"Hey, uhh Ruby, babe, you're freaking us out." Tommy said trying to get some answers on to what he is witnessing.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"Tommy, I only met Rain yesterday," said Jake. "Do you think I know everything? Just because I wear a cloak doesn't make me an expert on chanting!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

The markings covering Rain's body starts glowing brighter than ever before, and a huge wind blows Ruby back.

"It has begun," she mutters.

[Stantler]

Tommy turned to Jake,

"Hey man, I didn't know that. Thought you guys were pals and stuff." Tommy said trying to uphold his questions.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"Sorry, Tommy." But Jake then recalled Umbreon and took cover on the ground, shielded by his cloak from the fierce winds.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Its the beginning of the end," Ruby says, and falls on all fours, within moments, she's back in her Pokemon form, the dragon Salamence.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake looks at Ruby, now once more in dragon form. "The... the glitch?" he asks, his voice trembling again. He once more begins to mutter nonsense at himself.

[Stantler]

Strong winds began to pick up and pushed Tommy. He has no idea what's going on so, he just stood there like an idiot.

"What's going on now?!" He shouted over the wind.

Thinking fast, Tommy pulled out a pokeball and threw it emerging an Alakazam.

"ZAM! BARRIER! NOW!" He commanded.

The Alakzam created a psychic shield around itself and Tommy protecting them from the winds.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"It would only come when the last of the Draconian bloodline came in contact with Rayquaza, and the power within would be released, I had no choice," the dragon growls, protecting herself and Jake with a Protect attack as the winds blow around them.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake recalls Umbreon and throws himself to the ground, covering himself with his cloak in a reflexive attempt at self-defense.

I have to reach out to her, but its too late, the glitch has already spread across the world, Ruby thinks, and begins to concentrate on the mind of her trainer. Rain, please, wake up, before the glitch takes full effect!

The winds suddenly die down, as Rain's eyes snap open. her markings still glowing.

"W-what happened?"

[Stantler]

Tommy looks at the Dragon through the winds by the power of Zam's barrier and sees a dragon type Pokemon where Ruby was.

"WHAT THE HECK?! YOU CRAZY POKEMON! WHERE'S RUBY?! WHAT HAPPENED TO RUBY?!" Tommy yelled over the wind that is being deflected by the Alakazam's barrier.

"YOU CRAZY DRAGON! I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET TRYING TO HURT US!" Tommy yelled.

He threw another Pokeball with his giant Gyarados emerging, it seemed to stand the wind because of its massive size.

"LEVITOR! THAT POKEMON IS A BAD POKEMON! IT ATTACKED A GIRL AND IS COMING AFTER US!" He told his Gyarados.

The water type grew furious and roared at the Salamance in hatred.

"LEVITOR! DRAGON RAGE ATTACK NOW!!!" Tommy commanded.

The Gyarados shook its head viciously as it gathered flame in its mouth and shot its dragon type attack towards the Salamance.

Unknowingly, Tommy has commanded his Gyarados to attack Ruby.

Jake gets up and sees Tommy's Gyrados attacking Ruby. He yells to Tommy, "no, stop, you don't know what you're doing!" When he sees that he isn't accomplishing anything, he sends out all 3 of his Pokemon to hold off Levitor, though he can obviously tell that the Gyarados is an unfair fight, even 3 against 1. He orders Umbreon, who has the most defense, to block the Dragon Rage attack.

"Wait, Tommy, its me!" Ruby shouts, still in her dragon form. "This is who I am, I can transform at will!"

Sneasel and Houndoom jump in front of Ruby with Umbreon to defend the Salamence from Gyrados, when Jake realizes something: Gyarados sometimes rampage when they are angry...

The wind died down.. but not Tommy's rage..

Tommy is still confused and shook his head,

"What? That sounded like Ruby, What have you done to her? Where is she? YOU ATE HER DIDN'T YOU?!" Tommy yelled.

Tommy doesn't understand.

He turned to see Jake telling his pokemon to protect the Salamance from Levitor's attack. The Dragon Rage did not hit Ruby but it hit Jake's Umbreon hard throwing it back 10 ft from the blast.

"JAKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THAT DRAGON THING ATE RUBY! AND NOW IT'S GOING AFTER RAIN!"

"LEVITOR! THE WINDS HAVE DIED DOWN, USE YOUR HYDRO PUMP!"

The Gyarados roared and aimed for the Salamance, the dark pokemon trying to help fight were nothing compared to the massive size and power of the Gyarados. It seems strong, very strong. Foam began to fill its mouth as it readied its powerful water attack and shot a giant wave of water straight to the dragon.

"Serena, go!" Rain shouts, finaly getting up, her Dragonite appears in a burst of white light, and she runs over to the Salamence. "Serena, Ice Beam!"

The dragon sends a burst of ice, freezing the water attack.

"Look, if you want to harm my Pokemon, you'll have to get through me," Rain says.

[Stantler]

Tommy saw the girl get up and send out her Dragonite.

"Wait what? The dragon didn't get you? But where's Ruby?"

He began to look around in panic.

"Jake! Where's Ruby? That thing did eat her right? I mean where is she?" Tommy asked again.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"NO! TOMMY! THAT'S RAIN'S SALAMENCE! IT IS RUBY! STOP!" Then he saw Rain's Dragonite use Ice Beam to stop Hydro Pump. He had planned for Sneasel to do that, but it didn't matter now. He yelled now. "HOUNDOOM, FIRE B-," but was cut short as the all three of his Pokemon were being forced to dodge constantly the Gyarados's powerful attacks. "TOMMY, CALL OFF YOUR GYARADOS!" Jake yelled.

"Umm, this is Ruby," Rain says, patting her Salamence on the head. "You see, she has the ability to transform between human and Pokemon forms, show him, Ruby."

The dragon nods, and glows for a minute, when the glow fades, she's back in the form of the attractive young lady you met before.

[Stantler]

"What... the heck...." Tommy said as he became speechless.

He couldn't believe what he just saw.

"The.... heck..." He said again.

"Levitor! Return!" He said pointing his pokeball at his Gyarados where it was soon zapped into its pokeball.

He just stood there and slowly walked towards Ruby and stopped half-way from being too scared to continue.

"That's.... crazy..." He said.

"Ruby... you were that dragon this whole time?" He asked the young woman.

Jake sighed with relief as he called back his dark Pokemon. At least that misunderstanding was over. He was worried that Tommy might do something crazy, but it seemed to be over now.

"Its complicated," Ruby says. "I'm only one of 4 Pokemon who can transform between these two forms, we are known as the Draconian Pokemon Elite."

IC: Jake tries to explain something, except since he knows almost nothing anyway, he chooses to remain silent while Rain, Ruby, and Tommy talk.

Everyone stared at him,

"...not! Hahaha!" Tommy was only joking, he has no idea what they are talking about.

He seemed to be back to his old self once more.

"Well I uhh.." He scratched his head and blushed a bit.

"I hope this doesn't bring any hard feelings between us." He told Ruby.

History: At a young age, Luther joined the Vermillion City Pokémon Fanclub after witnessing a Pokémon battle between Lt. Surge and another trainer. The sky. Infinite and blue. It stretched as far as the eye could see. And probably farther. Clad in white, the trainer sat comfortably upon a Dragonite as it soared through the sea of air.

Far below him, the man saw what appeared to be a group of people standing around doing nothing.

Hey, they're standing around doing nothing! Awesome! the man thought to himself. "Dragonite, descend!"

And without a moment's hesitation, the mighty dragon began to slowly descend towards the ground.

"Hey, I'm a Pokemon, your a Human, it wouldn't work out," Ruby says, and offers a hand, her nails are a little pointy though, making them slightly resemble claws, I guess some things you can't change very well. "Still friends?"

[Stantler]

Tommy walked closer to Ruby and laughed.

"Ah! That won't stop me!" He said with a smile.

Tommy either likes Ruby alot, would like to pretend she is not really a Pokemon or is just plain stupid.

He looked down at Ruby's Claw like hand and gave it a high five.

"Hahaha!" He gave her a hug.

"Yeah! Of course we're friends hot stuff!" He said.

He then went in front of Ruby and began to flex his muscles again to try and impress her.

"Huh? Huh? Careful... they'll get'cha!"

"Umm, yeah," Ruby says sweatdropping slightly.

"Its official, we've met the most desperate man on earth," Rain says.

Tommy stopped.

"Alright, alright, I get it." He said frowning.

"Anyway, the name's Tommy" He said reaching his hand out towards Rain for a handshake.

"Rain Skylark," she replies, shaking his hand. "Sorry if we gave you a scare earlier, Ruby seems to have that effect on people."

Tommy shook Rain's hand.

"Glad to meet yah!" He laughed.

"That's okay! I like that in a woman! Hahahaha!" He said laughing it off.

"Anyway, Jake told me that you guys are heading to Blackthorn City, mind if I tag along?"

"Sure thing, the leader of the Order is expecting me to return sometime soon," Rain says.

"Um right, hahaha, what ever you say" Tommy said not knowing what ever Rain just said.

"Anyway great, thanks for letting me travel with you guys. I was really in a pickle before you guys showed up. I got lost and also Wild Pokemon have been acting weird, very aggressive than usual. Have any of you been attacked by crazy pokemon?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah, we had an encounter with a swarm of Beedrill yesterday," Rain says.

Mace finally got back into motion after noticing a few explosions over where th tohers were.

Then Mace threw out a Pokeball. "Go Twig!" He yelled. His Grovyle appeared. "Do you think we should join up with them?" Mace asked since Twig was his Smartest Pokemon.

Twig scrathced it's head as if to think. Fianlly he decided and Nodded.

Mace then dashed over toward the group. "Hey I'm Mace Burden." He said. "I had an encounter with Ruby a few minutes ago and I was wondering if I could join up with you guys." He said begining to catch his breath.

"I was beginning to wonder whether or not you'd come," Ruby says, Rain nods.

"I had to talk it over with my Pokemon first." Mace replied, Twig standing next to him.

[Stantler]

"Ah put it there!" Tommy said as he grabed Mace's hand and shook it firmly.

"I'm Tommy." Tommy said introducing himself.

After the introductions Tommy returned his Alakazam who was out and had now all of his pokemon back inside their pokeballs. Without any hesitation, Tommy took a deep breath of fresh air and asked everyone,

"Okay, we got everyone? Awesome! Let's get going! Dunno 'bout you guys, but I'm sick of being stranded in the middle of nowhere." Tommy said.

He is eager to leave with them to a city already as the truth is told in his words, he is sick of being in the middle of nowhere. After being lost in the wilderness for about 10 weeks, one would miss civilization.

Mace looked at everyone in the group and had to ask, "But where are we going to?"

His Grovyle went and sat on top of a nearby tree to wait.

Jake was startled as Mace came, but decided that if Ruby could trust him, so could he. After all, Ruby has more secrets than I do...

There was a long silence and Mace scratched his head. He pulled out a Fire stone from his left Pocket and stared at it. He had to do something during the silence. "Should I use this now?" Mace ased himself still stareing at the stone.

He always wanted to evolve his Growlith, Barker into a Strong Arcainine, But he feared he would miss his old Growlith.

Mace put the stone away and looked up into the sky. He was waiting to see what they were going to do next.

Jake turned to Mace. "Hey, why do you have a Fire Stone?"

"Well, I need to get to Blackthorn City," Rain says.

Mace turend to Jake. " I was always thinking of eveolving My Growlith into an Arcanine but I'm not sure..." He says.

Mace turns to Rain. "So what are we waiting for?" Mace asks. He returns Twig to it's Pokeball. "Go Glider!" Mace yells. His Flygon comes out opf the Pokeball.

Jake stands there for a moment. Then he states, "I don't have a flying Pokemon. Can anyone give me a lift?"

Mace turns to Jake. "You can ride on Glider. When it comes to Flying he's the best!" Mace says.

Jake nods to Mace. "Sure, thanks. Maybe I should've caught a Murkrow instead of an Umbreon. Then I could use Fly. But Umbreon's pretty cool though. Oh well." He climbs onto Glider.

"But how would you be able to sit on a Murkrow?" Mace asked Jake, waiting for the others to get ready.

The harmless-looking orange dragon hovered for a moment, flapping its mighty wings before its feet gently made contact with the soft ground. The white-robed trainer hopped off its back, and began to approach the group of odd-looking people in front of him. He waved as he walked.

"Hello, funny looking people! I, the great Luther Ashnard, hail from Vermilion City." He gestured in a random direction, not remembering which direction he came from. "Er, I think Vermilion was that way. But that doesn't matter anymore."

He noticed they were all preparing to travel to some other location. "Looks like you're going somewhere! I'm bored, so would you mind if I tag along? No? Great. Come, Dragonite! We've made some new friends!"

The large Dragonite lazily lumbered to join its owner amidst the other people.

Ruby concentrates, and soon she is back in her dragon form, Rain climbs on her Pokemon's back, before noticing Luther. "Its impolite to talk about people like that."

"Funny looking peolpe?' Mace asks a little angry. His Jollly mood changed to his normal tempered mood. "Yeah that's nice..." He said boringly. "Your going to have to keep up with us." he said.

Mace then turned to Rain. "Is everything ready for us to go?" he said lazily.

"Yeah, the question is, can you keep up? Ruby, Fly!" Rain shouts, and Ruby takes off at a rapid speed.

"Wha!" Mace yells! "Glider catch up!"

Glider zooms through the air at rapid speed almost uncontrolibly. "Hang on Jake!" Mace yells.

[DragonQueenRachel]

Rain laughs. "Ruby, lets show them how its really done, use Rain Dance!" She commands, and after a minute, it begins raining. "Anything goes in this race!" Rain shouts back.

[Houndoom1]

"That's nice to know! Mace Shouts. " Glider use extreem spped and then startle them with dragonbreath!"

Glider gets near and aims shoots a powerful Dragonbreath attack from it's mouth.

"Ruby, use your own Dragonbreath attack!" Rain commands, and Ruby sends the same attack at the Flygon, and the two Dragonbreath attacks colide. "Ruby, when we get back to Blackthorn, we're cleaning your teeth," Rain says, waving her hand in front of her face.

"Hey, I'm a dragon, I can't help it!" Ruby replies.

Mace turns to Jake. "Hold on tight! This is going to get tricky!" he yells. "Glider Start spinnging around and keep chasing them!" Mace commanded.

Glider began to spin faster and fater almost into a tornado. They zoomed in right next to Rain and Ruby.

Mace suddnely Remembered something. "We left Tommy and Luther back there! He shouted to Rain.

"We'll go back for Tommy, leave Luther," Rain replies, and turns around.

Jake clenched his teeth as he held on to Glider for dear life. Great idea, guys, let's fire attacks at eachother while we're fifty feet above the ground. He wondered what was going on right now in Sootopolis...

While in mid-flight, something goes off on Rain's Pokenav, she looks at it. "Its a message from my leader, it says that a strange virus is spreading across the world."

Jake is stunned once again. Why can't someone please explain this already? As far as he knows, the only ones who really know what's going on are Ruby and Rain's boss. As soon as I can, I'll reveal what my secret is. Hopefully soon enough. The pressure of concealing his identity was becoming too heavy to carry.

I managed to wake Rain up before the glitch took full effect, but the virus was created to work no matter if the heir completes its emergence or not, Ruby thinks to herself. Now, it all depends on how the virus takes its course.

Jake trembles. Something feels strange, and he needs to know what. However, by now Rain and Ruby are out of earshot, so when Glider lands, he gets off and begins to look for anyone except Luther, whom he seriously distrusts. How did I get myself into this? I was camping at those woods to get away from it all...

"Ruby, if you know something, I think we deserve an explination," Rain says to the blue dragon.

Jake stops Rain and Ruby. "Wait, I think you deserve to know my past. I told you I came from Sootopolis, right? You wondered what I was doing at a forest in Johto, right? You see, I was appointed guardian of the Cave of Origin at birth. I am not to replace my father, however, until I am old enough. Therefore, I was allowed to journey on my own for a while until I came of age. How, without a flying or water type, to leave the enclosed city? My father had his Pidgeot fly me to the mainland and then return to him. In a few years, I am to begin to guard the gates of the cave, but I can't go back." Jake showed them a black box with a symbol on it, filled with silver badges of the same symbol. "I'm the Gym Leader of Redwood City in Johto. I was at the woods to lay low for a while because I couldn't do both jobs. I need to find a way to work it out before my father sends his Pidgeot to find me."

Personality: Jake's personality ranges from secretive and untrusting, to enraged and furious. He is always suspicious of other people before he knows them. * History: Jake was born as the next to guard the Cave of Origin. Until he was old enough, however, he was allowed to journey outside Sootopolis. Jake left Sootopolis City on his journey, and became lost in the woods without food for at least a day. Then, a Houndoom showed up and led him to shelter and a berry orchard. Ever since then, the Houndoom was Jake's constant companion, whom he trusted completely. One day while he trained Houndoom, a citizen of a nearby town, Redwood City, saw him. They were searching for a new Gym Leader skilled with Dark Types, as the previous leader resigned and had no replacement prepared. The citizen told the town's officials of the Dark trainer he had seen, and suggested that he be made the new Gym Leader. He was led to the town, and, much to his surprise, immediately named Gym Leader. He spends most of his time zoning out while training, as his Pokemon can beat wilds without instruction, so he can find a way to be Redwood City's Gym Leader and the guardian of the Cave of Origin.

"Interesting, I've always dreamed of being a Gym Leader," Rain says. "I guess I've just been too busy to apply."

"But I didn't even apply! This guy just saw me training and made me a Gym Leader! How can I be a Gym Leader in Johto and be the guard at the Cave of Origin in Hoenn? And now this mess..." Jake is almost practically talking to himself. "You know, if we had finished our battle and you won, I would have been forced to reveal myself anyway. The rules say if someone beats me I have to give them a badge. Even if it's not an official gym battle or my opponent doesn't know I'm a Gym Leader."

"Well, I doubt I could do it anyway," Rain says.

"She was right, you both do deserve an explination," Ruby says. "An explination to exactly what the glitch is. The glitch is the technical term for a virus that emerges only every 1000 years, originaly it was supposed to destroy all life on earth, but the legend goes that the Sky dragon Rayquaza emerged at that time, the virus faltered, instead of killing the population, half the humans where turned into Pokemon, likewise half the Pokemon where turned into humans. In order to keep the virus in regulation, Rayquaza left behind a legacy, a young baby girl that would carry his bloodline."

"Yes, this I already know," Rain says.

"Sorry Rain," Ruby says. "But every 1000 years, a girl will be born of that bloodline, and when she comes of a certain age, she will come in contact with Rayquaza, and the virus will be released on the world again."

"Are you saying that, I'm the last of the Draconian Bloodline?" Rain asks shocked, Ruby nods.

Jake is shocked, though now he knows what the glitch is. Still, he doesn't want to be transformed, and he doesn't want his Pokemon to transform either. He asks Ruby, "is there any way to be defended from the virus?"

Ruby bows her head. "I'm sorry, but there is no known way, except find the source from which the virus first originated."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake pondered something for a second, then had an idea. He looked at Rain and said, "did you say originated? The Cave of Origin! It's a good enough place to start, and I'm qualified to go in! We could check there, but you'd need to get us to Sootopolis City. I can't fly or dive to get in. I have another idea too, but we should try the cave first. Besides, it's a secluded, isolated place, and will probably still be safe for a while, and would make a good place to regroup." Jake realizes he's getting a bit carried away. "But do you have an idea, Rain?"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Sounds like as good of a plan as any," Rain says.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake looks around. "Do you think we should wait until the others are ready, and then leave? Does one of your Pokemon know Safeguard? It could probably buy us enough time for everyone to be ready."

"The virus has yet to infect this area of the world, as a matter of fact I doubt it will reach here until the day after tomorrow," Ruby says.

Jake looks surprised at this. "Really? Then I guess there isn't as much of a rush as I thought. So we're safe for now then." In the meantime, he tries to come up with a believable excuse to be back home in Sootopolis so early. And an explanation for the Redwood City thing. Darn, I hope this goes well, or I'm going to get it, virus or no virus.

"Uhh, what should we do now?" Rain asks.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

"We ought to wait for Tommy and Mace." Jake answered. "My dad's the guardian, and I'm going to be the guardian, so I can probably convince him to let everyone in."

OOC: And a new chapter begins in the RPG. To get things rolling faster, I am going to bring us to Blackthorn City where the story can continue.

After much delay and a theory of what the "glitch" could be dwelling in their minds, our young heroes journey to Blackthorn City which is also known as the Dragon City. What will these handful of Pokemon Trainers uncover from the mystery of an ancient myth? And is what Rain says actually true? Throughout the years, stories have been spread and exaggerated to one's own ideas and beliefs of the unknown "glitch." Our band of heroes now come to the Dragon City to uncover more secrets of the ancient threat. What lies ahead for the young trainers? And what other secrets will be uncovered?

Blackthorn City

Tommy who was able to get a lift with Luther, finally arriving at a town. Just as he wanted. Tommy jumped off the Dragonite when it landed near the town and stretched his arms,

Just then, Ruby with Rain and Jake and a Flygon riden by Mace flew down besides them,

"Awesome!" He said with a smile on his face.

He turned to the others,

"Hey! Thanks for the lift, well... I guess this is where we depart for now. I have some errands I need to run here." Tommy said.

"Anyway thanks! I owe you guys one!" He turned around and began to walk away then he stopped and turned back to the group who helped him in his time of need,

"Oh yeah, when you guys are ready to leave again and wouldn't mind me tagging along again then just look for me. I'll most likely be running around the city somwhere. Anyway, see-yah!" Tommy waved as he left the group.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"I must meet with my boss," Rain says, walking towards a large mountain near the edge of the city, followed by Ruby, who is in her human form again.

[Houndoom1]

"I'll be in Ice Path." Mace says. Me and my Grouwltih have some training to do and an important choice to make."

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

Jake looks around at the city. "I'll go with Mace. I'll train Houndoom with his Growlithe in the Ice Path. It'll be a change of pace."

[Houndoom1]

Mace nodded and began walking toward Ice Path. He had to choose if to evolve Barker or leave him how he is.

[HoundoomOfTheDarkness]

As they reach the Ice Path, Jake pulls out a Pokeball and lets out Houndoom. He also sends out Sneasel because this is a good environment for it. He now waits for some wild Pokemon to show up...

Somewhere deep in the mountain, Rain and Ruby bow before a wizened old man. "I'm sorry, sir," Ruby says. "But she had to know the truth."

"Yes, I agree, young Ruby," the old man says, placing his hand on Rain's shoulder. "We have protected the truth ever since the glitch first appeared, and now, we may be able to finish it, but only if you can cooperate, Rain."

"Yes sir," Rain says.

"Find the source, and the world will be saved," the old man says. "The fate of the world is in the hands of you and your friends, Rain, I hope that you don't fail."

Meanwhile in the Ice Path...

"Barker flamethrower!" Mace yelled. He was battling a delibird.

Barker let out a blast of fire from it's mouth the scorthced the bird. Delibird was defeated. "You've gotten stronger Barker." Mace complimented. "Now are you ready for you streagth to double?"

After a little bit, Rain has traveled to the Ice Path, and is currently having some problems with the Ice.

"Oww," she says as she slips on the ice for the millionth time.

"Maybe if we moved off the ice," Ruby says, she was somehow able to stay up on the ice.

"What do you think I'm trying to do?" Rain asks.

Meanwhile, Jake is battling hordes of wild Swinub. They don't have much of a chance against the Fire type Houndoom, but they are good training. Houndoom seems to be having a good time.

Ruby helps steady her trainer, and they finaly make their way off the ice. Rain yawns lightly, noticing that Jakie is training. "Always on the move, that one."

Houndoom continues to scorch Swinubs until they all run away. Houndoom looks somewhat disappointed at this. Meanwhile, Sneasel is having a good time in the ice enivironment. It, too, is tormenting the Swinubs. Poor Swinubs.

"You know, its rude to torture Pokemon like that, it might come back to bite you in the butt, literaly," Rain says to Jake, coming into view.

Jake looks up. "Wha? Huh? Houndoom, stop that! You too, Sneasel!" Now Sneasel looks disappointed too. Jake turns to Rain. "Sorry. I don't order them when they battle wild Pokemon. They do fine. Sometimes they just get a little... overzealous. I guess I wasn't paying attention. I mean, they always want to battle. Sometimes they all flip out when they see other Pokemon. They are sort of tough to control." Meanwhile, all the Swinubs are running deep into the cave.

"You should try training dragons," Rain says. "Serena is a handfull most of the time, and Ruby sort of goes crazy in a battle."

"I'm right behind you, you know," Ruby says.

Jake says to Rain, "you're right. I don't think I could handle dragon types at all. I once saw Wallace's Kingdra, and it was a force to be reckoned with. I watched Wallace's gym battles a lot when I was little."
