Now, on topic.
As many people know I was making Pokemon Oregon, since people saw Call of Latios and Oregon and started to see the true power of Sphere quite a number of people came to me and they changed to Sphere, so we made a group which makes pokemon games in Sphere :P

We still don't have a name although I was thinking about either Dark Enterprise or The Spherians.

Apparently I'm gonna be the leader of the group although I'll let all members decide first and then confirm that.

I'm posting this to say that the people who joined forces with me have all agreed to make a game together with me, so the following games won#t exist anymore:
- Pokemon Oregon (by me)
- Pokemon Azurite (by Gibslpsg)
- Pokemon Deep Blue (by Waudby)
- Pokemon Dark Vs Light (by MasaXGPMat)

I know some of these were in RPG Maker but they will no longer be :P

So, these 4 games are now over, instead a new game will be created with the 4 creators of the previous games on the team. As you might be aware of, the plots for each one of the games are quite different but our group will have a discussion about a mix of them or a new plot.

The name of the new pokemon game is still to be decided, until we have some screenshots no thread will be created and the features are still in development (they are quite a few and more might be added).

I wrote this post to say that if anyone here is interested in switching to Sphere and already has some knowledge of how to make an RPG (showing us your work in some other Maker will do). If that person wants to join us and we like your work (even if your only a spriter/mapper/scripter/whatever you can join) you will be welcome. As soon as you join us we will supply you with helpful links for you to learn JavaScript and a bit of everything on Sphere, you can ask us questions but don't exagerate as we also have our own lifes ;) (that's why we supply the links, so you must be determined to learn it by reading tutorials and trying stuff out by yourself).

So, if even after all these requirements you're interested here is what you must post here:

For people who have already made a game (game makers):

basically just tell us what you can do and show examples.

And that's it, remember you won't be accepted right away, you will go under an anonymous vote between the current members of the Team and it will keep being that way even after more people join. Hope to see some people applying, see ya ;)

Exteradude, I don't mean any offence but have you proven yourself worthy of a team? I haven't really seen anything outstanding from you, I don't believe you are a very high ranking game developer just yet (It doesn't mean you are bad ;)).
Exteradude Inc. is not a real company is it? Unless you actually register it, which means having a payroll etc. I wouldn't put Inc... You could have The Exteradude Project, but it just doesn't make much sense to use Inc.

I think this deserves to go in the member recruitment thread, because you don't have anyone in your team and you are basically recruiting members.

Do you actually own this company? Because you make it sound like you do. This would mean payment for employees. You would be required to pay standard wages to anyone working in a position for your company.

Thakx I was looking for member recruitment but couldn't find it. and yes it is a real company but I only pay the Web Design aspects. The rest is just good hearted Volenteers, who want to revolutionize the the gaming industry/progrming/what ever.
So yes, anyone working in the Web Design must meet the law requirments and will get paid, unless they want to volenteer. Other than that no profit is made from Zerro Dev. nor dose Zerro Dev. make money, besides the web design.

Actually, My company makes money so it has a payroll. And i roll in the money daily... :P I would register them, but don't feel like paying a few hundred dollars for it. I wouldn't dream of asking fo members in a general thread like this. I just figured that i'd post my companies and include the links to each project. Umm Im wondering if anyone would be willing to take a newbie on there team? I pretty much don't have any skills in rpg maker xp (as I just got it) but the main thing is that I want to learn, so if you would be willing to teach me how to do stuff, such as mapping or sprites and stuff, I could be a valuable part of your team. The storyline will go something like this:

The story takes place after the Buu saga, and after the GT Series, when Goku is really old. A new villain has been born into the universe, from one of the most unlikely beings. A human. About every million years, a being is born with a special gift. The gift of Unlimited strength. In the past, this being has been innocent and a savior to its people. This time it's much different. This "Ultimate warrior" has been possessed by an evil sorcerer(unnamed) and is now wreaking havoc upon the entire universe. It's up to goku and his friends to defeat the evil sorcerer andstop this "Ultimate Warrior" from destroying the entire Universe.

I need to build up a team for this project.
I'm an okay mapper and an okay coder(no scripting)

and A resource manager
I could use another mapper and another coder, but I can get by with limited help, although I prefer as much help as I can get.

I haven't decided whether I'm going to do this in RM2K3 or RMXP. It really just depends on if I can get a scripter for the ABS and CMS.

3.Eventer to help compile battles. Battle System is made, but each route and trainer need it's own battle map. It's easy because you can copy existing maps and events, you just have to change a coupleof things out. Is easy but time consuming.

Hey there everyone!

So I am writing that I want to join your project...
Let me tell you a bit about my former 'career' as Pokémon Game Developer.

I already started my first Pokémon game with the rm2k in 2002. Due to the fact of no R/S being released so far in Europe I used some self-ripped G/S/C Charsets and Chipsets. Now those where my first experiences. I learned the basics (by myself!): How to rip graphics, how to make them compatibel with the RPG-Maker, how to map in Pokémon style, etc.
My game was based on my friend's story 'Pokémon Legends'.

When the new Pokémon editions R/S where released I actually saw no point in keeping to work with the outdated G/S/C resources and besides this I wasn't satisfied with my first maps anymore, etc.
So I started a new project with R/S resources. Same story. While I was working on the game FR/LF where released here. I decided to keep the old maps in R/S graphics but add Johto and Kanto as well, both based on FR/LF resources. At this time it was already sure that Emerald was going to be released some day so I wrote down my final decision:

' My game will include 4 continents: Izmak (my own! In R/S graphics), Johto (Modified FR/LF), Hoenn (Emerald graphics) and Kanto (FR/LF graphics). '

All necessary resources where ready to be used and I had already mapped Izmak, Kanto and parts of Johto unti day X... Day X? Yes!
From 2002 to Day X (one month ago) I had done so much work and put incredible effort in this project when my harddrive stopped working. OK, I had a back-up CD with most of the data. So no problem I thought. But the nice back-up CD had some scratches... my computer couldn't read the CD anymore.
You can imagine what that mean? 4 years of work for... actually nothing

In the evening of this day I made a decision: 'I will never ever make a Pokémon game again nor will I ever help developing one again.'
Well, that decision didn't last that long as you can see... I think it all has gotten too much part of my life! I think you guys understand this!

So you might know now why I post here and request to be a co-worker. As you can imagine I have worked on own projects for almost 4 years I really do have a lot of experience.


My abilities:

- Ripping any kind of resources (as well music!)
- Mapping
- Writing dialoges
- Promoting the game
- Also translating the finished version into German!

Feel free to ask for more things. I'd say I can do anything but scripting very well, though I am currently learning this as well.

I need someone:

Who can do custom over world spritting, like new building, trees, over world trainers, over world Pokemon, editing is also fine.
Someone for trainer sprites.
Someone who can give me images from the anime, mainly buildings and places
Someone who knows Pokemon really well, I mean the anime, aka the "special" places not in the games.
