Weight problem eh? Well, there are a number of solutions you can take, none of them are easy imo... What I did to lose much of my weight (since I do have to constantly stay fit in the military:\) is to:
#1. Watch what you eat. And I don't mean starve yourself and eat bread and water for a month straight. That won't do anything, infact you'll gain more weight that way. Eat light foods, and keep up eating a variety of foods, even beef and starchy foods. Junk food is ok... but remember too much of anything can only do harm.
#2. Run around! Pick up a sport, or just do something physical for awhile. Even if it means doing a morning jog every other day. Your body can't burn the "extra fuel" if you're not active. Oh! And don't do bursts of exercises! This doesn't help your body at all, if anything you'll end up with cramps and no progress. Take small steps and work your way up, for example just try walking around your neighborhood a couple times. After a week of doing that move up to adding 15 or more push-ups everyday. Get the idea?
#3. This has more to do with number 1, but I think its fairly important to know to increase your "water" intake. Not juice, soda, or coffee. I'm talking about regular good ol' water, or even the bottled variety. Doing so will greatly reduce your constant hunger strikes, not to mention its healthy for you.
And lastly, #4. Be positive about it and be patient! Losing weight doesn't happen overnight, if you want stats try weighing yourself once or twice a week before breakfast. Keep a record of this weight and see the pattern that develops.
Well that's what I do! And I'm at my target weight which is 160 pounds. If you can at least follow three out of the four steps you will see some improvement, but I recommend following all four steps. <.<
Ok that wraps it up, I hope this helps and good luck.

I lost ten pounds in a week by spending a lot of time skateboarding and I only ate three meals a day and almost no snacks except apples or oranges...it was pretty easy for me, but I suppose it could be hard for other people...I hope that helps...It's actually very fun (and tasty if you like fruit :) ) way to lose weight.

Hey Bna_li ya not alone there ! =3
Yup , yup i have had my share bit of Weight problems recently. Kairyu has taken da Words out of my mouth ;) Don't worry about it Bna_li , with self control and will power you can easily lose weight :).
Well i am 13 , and its more than normal to get Puppy fat (As in before and while puberty you gain more weight) and i did get Puppy fat as loads of other pre-Teens do. Now i'm 13 though , thats over and i am slightly overweight for several reasons , not eating the right diet , not exercising enough , and i have had a illness which needed medication , and the side effect was i gained weight :/
To lose weight , you do not need to go on your average diet as in stop eating completely or only eat fruit and veg for a month. You could do it , but thats the painfull way. There are other ways that are much easier and can even become enjoyable to do. I am currently going to our Local Health Club Gym , and i really enjoy it. The Gym for a start , is very nice and the equipment is really cewl , easy to use and its air conditioned in there (There are wide screen Tvs to plug your headphones into while you go on the Treadmill or Cycle ect.. I go to the Gym atleast two or three times a week. Its amazing how little can make such a change , i don't go to the Gym daily but i have already felt a difference in my Strength (Sit ups really pull ya stomache in =P) and i swear i already look different in my weight tone ^_^
So exercise is one thing , try to find active things to do that you enjoy ;) For eg. A sport you like or a Game. I go Horse Riding and Play Hockey. Exercise while doing things you like you can dance , skate , swim , run whatever you fancy !. If your like me and sit on the comp for too long in time , you can always just jog round the block or something every now and then :P Secondly is diet , Infact your diet is the most important key to losing weight. Take the Atkins diet , people lost weight on that without even getting out of their chairs. I love junk food like alot of people , but you have to slowly cut down on that for starters. Try not to eat to much Junk food , cut down on Carbohydrates like White Bread , Pasta and Rice which people often eat to much of and they gain weight from eating to much Carbs. Stop eating White Bread and eat Brown which is better for you as its a slow realising Carbohydrate ^^ Eating Potatos is alright , but try and eat the Skin aswell.
When you feel a Sugar craving coming on , instead of grabbing a Chocolate Bar have a very sweet Orange or Breakfast Bar. If you don't mind Dark Chocolate then eat a bit of that instead of Milk Choco which is worse. I'd also cut down on Milk since its very fattening. You can still eat Junk food , but not too often. If you are exercising enough then it won't matter as much. Eat better , Do enjoyable exercise and have fun ! You won't regret it in any way. Have confidence and remember never to listen to the Bullies who try to ruin your life . Their the lame ones and you know it ^-^
I have been bullied about my weight , (even though i am not "Obese or extremely overweight" i am just abit too podgy) and i know how much it can hurt. Don't listen to them , their the ones that look stupid =3 Oh dear i am ranting on now are'nt i ? ^^;
Hope this helps Bna_li !! n.n-

Ah, it's okay. It's not that hard to get back in shape at all, as long as you do some of these things. You just need to stick with it. ^_^; Kairyu and the others gave some useful advice, but I'll still give some of my own health tips.
Drink lots of water and juice. Especially pineapple, apple, grape, etc. And every morning when you wake up, make drinking a glass of water one of the first things that you do. In fact, I would recommend cutting out soda and any other kind of junk, or atleast minimizing your intake. Soda has nothing in it that is good for you, so there's no use drinking it. And stay away from diet drinks. They have a chemical (Or something) called Aspartame in them, which is bad. (It subsitutes something in the regular drinks, but it's not good.)
Eating a lot of food all at once is no good. It's okay if you get hungry easily, just stay active during the day and you'll have no problem. It's better to eat small amounts of food at different times of the day instead of large amounts three times a day.
Stay active. This is most important for getting and staying in shape, plus it's extremely good for you. Don't just sit around all day, or else all of that wasted time will come back to haunt you when you're older and you find out that you have some kind of disease. When you stay active it keeps your blood flowing. When you don't, it just goes slower and your veins (I think) can get clogged up, and if they do it's deadly. Even if you don't have enough time to work out two or more hours a day, just 30 minutes atleast 3 times a week will keep you healthy. Whenever you have the chance, go on a walk, go swimming, get involved in sports, play outside, etc. There are a lot of fun things that you can do, and you'll hardly realize that you're actually excercising. Just don't push yourself. Go at your own pace. Don't expect to just be able to run 10 miles on your first try. You have to build up your muscles, and eventually they'll be really strong so maybe you could do that. Excercising isn't only for losing weight. It's good for you. A lot of people that are in shape excercise just because they want to stay healthy, and live longer lives. I know this for a fact. My 67 year old grandmother excercises every day, and she can do some things that I can't, or can barely do! O_O She can raise her whole leg up to touch her head. Lol, that's some proof. Also, if you just walk really slowly you're not going to get anywhere. Go up hills, walk fast, etc. And stretching before you walk or do any kind of excercise is a must. Always do that.
And if you want to try it, here's a really good diet that works. I know, it seems like it would be hard, but it's only three days, and if you stick with it and follow it exactly, you could lose a lot of weight very easily.
A Diet from the American Heart Association
Lose 10 lbs in one wk.
Must be followed exactly. No snacking.
1st day – Breakfast ……….….½ grapefruit,1 slice dry toast, 2 tbsp peanut butter,
black coffee or tea
Lunch……………...1/2 cup tuna, 1 slice dry toast, coffee or tea
Dinner………….….2 slices any type of meat (approx 3 ounces) 1 cup green
Beans, 1 cup beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup vanilla ice cream
2nd day – Breakfast…………..1 egg, ½ banana, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea
Lunch……………...1 cup cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers
Dinner……………..2 weiners, 1 cup broccoli, ½ cup carrots, ½ banana,
½ cup vanilla ice cream
3rd day – Breakfast…………..5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple,
black coffee or tea
Lunch………………1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice dry toast
Dinner………….…..1 cup tuna, 1 cup beets, 1 cup cauliflower, ½ cantaloupe,
½ cup vanilla ice cream
This diet works on chemical breakdown and it is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods.
Salt & Pepper may be used. No other seasoning.
Where no quantity is given, there are no restrictions other than common sense.
This diet is to be used only 3 days at a time. In 3 days you will lose 10 lbs. After 3 days of dieting, you can eat normal food, but do not overdo it.
After 4 days of normal eating start back on your 3 day diet. You can lose up to 40 lbs in one month if you stick to it. This is a safe diet.
Remember………..Do NOT Snack between meals.
Drink plenty of water.

Um, pretty much all the good advice has already been said, but just stay encouraged, we're all here for that. If you slip and eat a lot of junk food or something, don't give up. Just keep at it, even if you do slip now and then. It's much better to stick with it even if it means eating a little more, than sticking with a strict diet and binge eating every week. If it helps you feel better, you could kind of post in this topic how you did on good days and so forth. Encouragement is important with staying with it too. On days you goof up, just shrug it off and remember to try not to again. No one is going to put shame on you for messing up, it's human. We'll only offer comfort and advice on helping you resist binge eating. And you will probably mess up, sure. If you can get a good diet established now, it'll help you your whole life, as Kayleigh said. ^_^

I'm pretty big, but I don't worry about it for now...I'm 16, and I told myself when I'm 18 I'll start working out and stuff...I just want to sit back and eat potato chips as long as I can before I'm thrown out in the world. I don't look that bad...no one says anything to me about it, at least. The problem is that I eat portions that are too big...my mom gives me enough food for three people at dinner, which is bad...I have a small breakfast and an average lunch though. The only time in my life when I ever had massive weight loss was last year when I first became afflicted with horrible depression...I lost 10 or 15 pounds in 2 months, basically because I was never hungry. I'm still hardly ever hungry now, but I can stand to eat again.
My only advice is to not worry about it for now, and when you have more freedom just work out and eat right...that's my plan.

Man i USE to be big last year i weighed 453 at the most and it was so sucky so one day i just got pissed and started working out and got on a really good diet...now i'm down to 293...and i look like one of the football player's...i dont look big with the weight i have now but my doc says that a "idol" weight for someone my age and with my chemistry is somewhere around 280-300 any less and i would look like a pile of bones anymore and i would look really big so right now i look 190 or so but i'm more then that...if i really weighed 190 i would look like a really puny kid i would look like a 10 year old or something..and i do a lot of workouts and i only eat once a day..and it does help...just do walking it's what will help you the most it got me down 50lbs in 3 months and try weight lifting if you think your to old to lose the weight you can try to build a muscle bound body and that's a lot eaiser and then most of the weight would be mucle...so just try to eat well here's how i eat....
Monday
no breakfest
no school lunch
8pm dinner...bowl of rice..half ounce of pork and ONE cup of soda
Tuesday
no breakfest
schoollunch-ONE slice of pizza and a bottole of water
dinner-Anything
Wendsday
No breakfeast
no lunch
dinner...Half a ounce of any meat 1 egg a up to 5 bowls of rice TWO cups of soda(preferably the chep kind) and maybe a candy bar
Thursday
no breakfeast
lunch-Pizza and firies and a bottle of water
Dinner-Bowl of rice and 1 egg no soda
Friday
One egg white
no lunch
dinner-Anything
That's how i do it and i really never eat breakfeast at first is kinda messed with me for a week or so but i go used to it it's not a starvation diet becuase you are eating a good amount of food and you are drinking a lot of milk and water when you dont eat.
And remember that you must exersise everyday at least 20min of walking will help you..
My workout---
Monday
5:30-20min of walking
3:30pm-1/2 hour weight lifting
8:00pm-one hour of sports
same up untill thursday
Thursday-Friday
3:00PM-one hour to 1/2 hours of walking or something in sports
8:00half hour of wieght lfiting
and on weekend i do my REALLY INTENSE work out with weited cloths and perfecting my ZenZouBo a martial arts style i'm working on...
and with all this i dont look muscle you cant tell that i have any...i only have like one or 2 that you can see :P and i dont look skinny and i stay really fit...that's what i do but you have to give up A LOT of things for this and you have to get use to it fast if it still hurts by the midway point of the second week you should stop it or do something else...
That's my 2 cents and take it from me stuff like this works just 8 months ago i was 453 and my mom really though i was going to die...when i found out that we had to get all this "special" cloths for me that's when i took it upon my self to lose the weight and keep it off.
And Aspartame is something that can inflat your body with air and make it seem that you have extra weight it's really bad...and remember drink lot's of water...i drink one gallon a day of water and half gallon of juice a day...you get thirsty when you do all this stuff.

I was always real skinny, but when I reached adolescence, I realized my eating habits would catch up to me, and as soon as I started getting blubbery, I tried to take up sports (I'm not very good, but I stay active at least). My dad used to spend a lot of time at the YMCA when he was a teenager, so he knows some good exercises for each paticul part of the body. He can always help me out when I need it.

Yes, and same thing for when you're thirsty. It's your body's natural way of 'asking' for something to drink. But don't head for the Cokes or Dr. Peppers. Drink some water. Any time that you're thirsty it's because you need some water.

Hmm well another fun alternative is to take up swimming at your local public swimming pool. Try to swim two or three laps to get a taste on how strenuous it really is, cool part is you're basically excersing your whole body. Doing this plus following a good diet will whip you in shape within a few months. But like DT said, you can't be lazy about it.
Oh and do not eat right before doing any exercise, especially the one I just mentioned.

i play ddr , its a video game, but it helps keep me off my ****. i also bike everywhere. saves enviornment and burns calories.
if you eat 3000 less calories in a day, you'll loose 1 lb. therefore, if you just sit in bed for 2 days without eating, u'll loose 1 lb. cause u usually use up 1500 cals in a day by sitting. amusing, ain't it?

Well, I don't know. Some people probably can't get out and exercise. Even if you can't, and/or aren't overweight, a good diet will benefit you on some levels. ^_^
Well, yes, you're right. ^_^; I probably sounded dumb, lol. It does help if you eat healthy foods, even when you can't excercise.
Your mom was probably talking about the artificial sweetener, Aspartame. Its a active ingredient for diet sodas like coke and artificial coffee sugar. But is it really bad for you? Well, after reading up on this my opinion on it is, No it doesn't do anything to you. Another one of those urban myths me thinks, lol. If you want proof read through this link:
http://www.urbanlegends.com/ulz/nutrasweet.html
Hmm, okay. I've read some other proof that it is unhealthy from some doctors, though. One from a very trusted one. I don't really understand all of it, but it sounds like it would make sense, lol. Here are two pretty good links. One is a question-and-answer thing, and the other just explains the whole thing. I haven't read all of so I don't know everything yet. x_x;

Eck, I don't like McDonald's too much, the fries are way too greasy XP. A lot of them are very soft since of all the grease packed inside. Blech, that is so unappetizing

As long as you eat pretty well (not too much junk food) and get a bit of exercise, you should be OK. I mean, if your doctor is telling you you're obese or something, you have a problem, but if it's just that you're the biggest kid in your class you should be fine. I mean, you're young, you're a boy. Boys have their growth spurts between 13 and 15, IIRC. When you have your growth spurt, all that weight is gonna stretch out and you'll be just fine.

Those McNuggets I understand were a huge problem for McDonalds, as they were the biggest source of hidden calories. That’s why they’re pushing those new white meat ones. I’m not sure how much better they are though. =\

I posted a way to lose that much in 1 week and it was quite a bit simpler...o well, whatever works :P

Yeah I think there was a commercial on it.
My friend liked that commercial a lot.

*sigh* Those Subways commercials are wierd.
Someone would do something odd.
Then another person would ask "What are doing?"
The person would reply "It's okay, I had Subways!"
