are the tickets (mystery, aurora) given to you in the game or are they given to you in a nitendo promotion?

eleketo... ? i know this guy... at least i used to... somewhere in PC i used to know this guy.......
the aurora ticket is of f/r l/g and as far as i know it comes with a promotion.
