anyone ever had a moment where you thought you could never win and then did in the most stupidest way? or a really pathetic strategy thats so obvious no one thinks of?
POST THEM HERE
for example, i got my pokemon wiped out in the elite four and won with a pidgeotto like level 10 or something against lances dragonite, BECAUSE OF QUICK ATTACK, after my other pokemon died but weakened it obviously
i also beat the miltank at that winge bags gym with a level 13 togepis metronome, luckily got mach punch!
EDIT: i just checked user cp and realised i called it ironic wins, which i dont remember doing, but it should be stupid wins, so just like to apologise

Oh yeah Lorelili's (I hope I speeled that right) well her dewgong was paralyze and my level 19 rattata used a move (which i forgot) and I defeated it. I just didn't want to bring out my other Pokemon so i threw in this Ratatta I was training

I remember I was battling clair. I was about to lose to clair and her kingdra. My Quilava, Poliwhirl, Kadabra, Pidgeotto and Lickitung were knocked out. They were levels 35-41.
I had caught this teddiursa. I was going to train it. It was only level 18. I had ordered it to use fury swipes. Kingdra was going to use hyper beam but it missed. Well my fury swips connected 5 times. The first one wasnt a critical hit but hte last four were.
I was so lucky

Lorelei.
Anyway, my latest stupid win (as I like to call them) came the other day, actually. I was battling the Elite Four using my James-themed team (as in, I was using Pokemon that James has used and their evolutions), and for lack of a better Pokemon, I had an Ice Beaming Gyarados. (By the way, it's generally a bad idea to put Ice Beam on Gyarados. Especially one of the wrong nature.) I had reached Drake, and I was determined to defeat him with only Gyarados because I needed as much power as possible for Steven.
So, he sends out Flygon just after I finish Shelgon. I take out all but one HP with one Ice Beam, and Flygon uses Sandstorm. I shrug and finish off Flygon without thinking much of it.
Two Pokemon downed later, and I'm facing Salamence. I take out much of his HP. Salamence takes out most of Gyarados's with Dragonbreath (either that or something else -- can't remember). I prepare myself for finishing the dragon off... and then Sandstorm takes out the rest of Salamence's HP for me. And I just stopped, stared at my screen, and went, "...What?"

When I first battled Red/Ash. His Snorlax was taking out all my pokemon but some how I managed to beat him.

Earlier today, I started a new file on a Gold ROM on my PSP, and I was training my Jigglypuff in the Bellsprout Tower. My Totodile had fainted and all my Jigglypuff knew was Sing and Defense Curl. I figured I was going to lose, so I just kept using Defense Curl. Well, the Bellsprout I was fighting ran out of PP for Vine Whip and began using struggle. Because my defense was so high, he ended up killing himself before he killed me. hehe.
