What do you prefer?
My preference:
Widescreen
Why? Because video doesn't get cropped and stays the good aspect ratio as seen in the movies.
Rebel against widescreen or go for it? You choose!

I like widescreen too. Many people don't like it because the bars distract them, but then you lose some of the original picture.

You’re talking about the Pokémon movies right? I think they should definitely make widescreen available. It seems most children don’t like the bars at the top and bottom on 4:# televisions, so that’s why they do it. Personally almost all the video games I play can be set to 16:9, as are all the DVDs I won widescreen.
Miramax doesn’t seem to care about the franchise anyways, so I doubt they plan to release the sixth or seventh movie in widescreen either.

The widscreen is nice in my opinion. You don't lose much detail or bits.

I really don't like fullscreen when a movie was originally made in widescreen. If I'm seeing a movie in fullscreen and I know it was originally in widescreen, it always reminds me of the picture below.

Ash and Lisa are, besides their arms, completly offscreen, which annoys me watching at it.
If a movie was originally made in fullscreen, I don't mind watching it in fullscreen though.
Miramax should at least include a widescreen option, which doesn't seems to be the case from what I've heard.

I've never seen pokémon Heroes (and probably never will; no interest), but Widescreen is always better than fullscreen.

Widescreen actually is popular here. Miramax may have gave the master copies of Pokémon Heroes here to Buena Vista Australia, but Buena Vista didn't convert the copies to fullscreen, in fact they are leaving them widescreen! ^_^
I feel sorry for anyone in America who watches cropped video.
Unown_: I see Ash and Lisa full on the Australian VHS and Chinese/Japanese DVD @.@;;
Of course, the Chinese versions have always used TV Tokyo/ShoPro/etc's widescreen, so the DVD has been widescreen ^_^;
The Australian VHS Pokémon 3 has them showing, although the Australian TVs fit a different aspect ratio.
Letterbox format (also widescreen) is preserved from original, and I like that. ^_^

I guess I am the only one person that likes fullscreen.
For me it is better because my TV is small so when I watch it, it is better to see it fullscreen. :pirate:
