That would require some RGSS coding Flygon, there is already one in the Starter Kit so try using that.
To add music import it in the same way you did the tileset (But in the music catagory this time) then Right click on the map name you want to add music to and click Properties (Or alternatively click on the map and press Space.) Now tick Auto change BGM and double click inside the empty box to choose your music. Another method is to do it through Events by choosing the Play BGM event command.
Oh my...

You don't need RGSS to put your title screen.
Just open your game on RPG Maker Xp and press F9 to open Database. Search for the 'System' tab and then for the Title Screen option. Click on the arrow and select your title screen. Also make sure you've imported your titlescreen to the Titles folder.

btw, what priority is the hero sprite supposed to be on?
Have you tried to change layers too? Use the second layer for Autotiles and the third one for buildings.
Try that, who knows. About the hero priority, it seems to be on priority 2. If you put a tile with priority 3, the hero goes under it, so...

A CBS is a Custom Battle System. And it's basically where you'll be spending most of your time when you are making a game. It means that you are making a battle system from scratch, using either RGSS scripting or coding rather than the built in battle system that comes with RM2K3/RMXP. It's also the reason that there are currently no comleted Pokémon games around.

There is a free screen capture program called MWSnap, which can be found here (http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html) that I use to take screenshots of anything. It's really easy to use and it saves having to open up paint and messing around with it in there. Just line up the screenshot, take the screenshot and save it. Easy.

There's a button on the second dab of the Event Commands list called "Change Screen Color Tone..."
It's the RMXP equilavent of the Tint Screen button in RM2K3.
A side note, I accidentally editted your post when I went to quote it, which is why you see "Editted by Dawson" at the bottom of your post.

You can download the trial version from Download.com and then pay for it online, which is what I did. So there's really no exceptions when it comes to using warez.

You open script editor, go to Game_Party class.
Then search for the 'def add_actor' line... and change this:
# If the party has less than 4 members and this actor is not in the party
if @actors.size < 4 and not @actors.include?(actor)
# Add actor

$game_player.refresh
end
for this:
# Add actor

Guys, you could stop chit chating...
Database Contents
To edit database contents, select [Tools], then [Database] from the main menu. Move through the tabs in the dialog box to edit the following data types:
"Actors": Data for the player-controlled party members.

Editing Data Entries
Apart from [System], the screen for each page is divided vertically, with the data ID and name listed on the left and the contents of that data entry displayed on the right. To edit an entry, click to select the entry from the list on the left and edit its contents on the right. Check the Tool Tips for more information on each entry.
Press [F4] and [F5] in the database window to quickly select the previous and next entries in the list. This can increase your efficiency when modifying multiple data entries.
Right-click on a data entry to make a pop-up menu appear that will allow you to copy, paste, and use other editing commands. Select [Multicopy] to bring up a dialog box that will let you specify the number of entries to copy at the same time. This is especially effective when copying over a portion of data from another project.
Changing Maximums
To change the number of data entries, click the [Change Maximum] button at the bottom of the list. A dialog box will appear, allowing you to set the maximum at any number between 1 and 999.
Increasing the maximum will increase the amount of memory necessary for the game to run, as well as slow down the speed at which it reads the data. Try not to make it any higher than is necessary.
Decreasing the maximum will erase any entries that may exist above that number.

Ok, for that you need to do two things:
1) Set the terrain tag where wild pokémon appears:
Press F9 to go to Database. Click on Tileset tab and choose what tileset you'll be editing. After that, click on the last button on the right, called "Terrain Tag". Choose which tile will be the one you'll find wild pokémon (normally that tall grass tile). Click on it until you have a number different from 0 (I use 5).
Now click ok and let's go to part two.
2) Modifying script:
Press F11 to go to Script Editor, then search for Scene_Map class.
Scroll down until you see this:
if $game_player.encounter_count == 0 and $game_map.encounter_list != []
And change that for this piece of code:
if $game_player.encounter_count == 0 and $game_map.encounter_list != [] and $game_map.terrain_tag($game_player.x,$game_player.y) == 5
That's it... battles will only start when you step into tall grass.
Not tested, btw...

Ruyin, the syntax for showing an array with elements is:
$data_skills[skill_id].element_set
Remember that it's an array, so you should put an [0] for the first element, [1] for the second, etc...
Like:
$data_skills[skill_id].element_set[0]
Would show the first element for that move.

Azura, you never cease to amaze me. Lol, I know it's a simple thing but with my n00bishness... Lol, Azura, they just keep coming: I need to list only items in my CMS with a PDEF of 1. I've managed to make them disappear, (the text and description) but the item is still technically in the list, and you can select it. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you're referring to pictures, there's Irfanview...If I recall, you can get it from gamingw.net. Or just "google" it. :)

I need help please. On my pokemon game, I need to know how to edit the pokemon's picture while fighting when I am the pokemon and when I am fighting it.
Be more descriptive please, what game maker are you using?
If it's RPG Maker XP there is an event command called "Change Actor Graphic" at the bottom left hand corner of the third page, use that.

lol, I'm trying. Ok, I opened the starter kit into the RPG maker Xp. It loaded. I'm just not sure how to use the new info it added to my game. I didn't know if it was going to add new options into the rpg maker itself, or just be a few files tucked away somewhere.

I can't really do much without taking a look at the script you're using, but to show only items with PDEF 1, you'll need use this:

I suppose you're using Rpg Maker.
Press F9, go to Tilesets tab.
You'll see your tileset with circles. That means the tile is passable. If you click the circle, it will become an X, meaning the tile is unpassable.
=)
Next time try to be more clear in your request. People barely help, and making that kind of post will not help you at all...

Got a question of a scripter/ anyone how knows how.
Ive been trying to make a Surf Script, ive got it so that you and
do the usual, "would you like to surf" and it changes the icon and you can move on the water, however, i then cant get out of the water, as the place for the scrpt to be is where the script to get in the water is. Ive tryed to do it with local switches, but that dosent seem to de working. My script is in the pic.

Edit: Sorry to ask but im using Blizzys Starter Kit and i'm having Problems,
When i enter a map the Screen is not centred on the Character, so i can
not see the character unless i move him and re adjust his position.
This is annoying because it is messing up certain puzzles.
Is their any script to keep the character centred?

Hey guys, I'm using the Zenith Tactical Battle System to make a Pokemon game, and the battle are defined by events. For example if I wanted to have Arshes in my battle I would make the event name actor1. Since I'm making a Pokemon game I won't know what you have in your party, so I need a script that changes the name of the event to actor and then the number of the I.D of the actor that is first in your party. I know it's confusing but I'm sure one of you will be able to help.

You will have to make the map bigger(and place the your pkmn center in the middle of it) until the screen is in the center again. Not sure what else you could do.

ok well I was using the starter kit v1.5 and I saw that if you had a map size of 20 x 15 the character would be way off the map so I opened the scripts and did so math to center it and heres how to fix the error or what ever you call it.
Go to Game_Player*
find:
max_x = ($game_map.width - 20) * 128
max_y = ($game_map.height - 15) * 128
and replace it with:
max_x = ($game_map.width - 15) * 128
max_y = ($game_map.height - 10) * 128
I found that out because with the screen size of 480 by 320 it only shows 15 blocks across and 10 down and if the screen size was 640 by 480 there was 20 blocks across and 15 down. ok so hope this helps :D

I'm trying to make a game where the player kills "enemies" that are just different sprites.
