I was wondering for D/P:
Will the three starters be Dark, Psychic, and Fighting?

Grass-Fire-Water, nintendo wouldn't cause a switch like that all of a sudden. Though it would be nice to see new types

Why would they change the lineup..?
Prefer grass-fire-water, anyway.

Why the heck would they change the type triangle?
Also, I don't know how many times I have said this, but the Dark > Psychic > Fighting trianlge would not work, because unlike the Grass > Water > Fire triangle, one of the types is immune to another one, putting it in an even bigger advantage.

I'm for the all times classic Fire > Water > Grass. And Smartie has covered my saying. It's not same at all, as Psychic types would be in disadvantage.

I know that, but if they wanted to really challenge someone, that person could get the Psychic. I know they won't change it, but I love those three types.

I would like to see something other than the "Orginal Triangle". But Psychic attacks won't be able to hit Dark types thats making it unfair. If it was like Ice-Ground-Fire that will be different.

They should change it, fire-water-grass is getting old, fire-ice-ground doesn't work, because ground is a physical type, while fire and ice are special types. Flying-fighting-rock could work.

Not only that, Ground isnt resistant to fire. It is just super effective against it. Meaning the fire move could do neautral damage.
A type triangle, has to be three types. One of each resistant to another one. One having an advantage. Resistant doesnt count as immunity either.

I'm quite happy with the original line-up anyway, but I wouldn't really mind if they changed it.

As cool was it would be to see a new starter line-up, you know for a fact Nintendo wouldn't change that.

I like the current one, all some of my fav types. It would be cool if they did something like...
Grass/Psychic, Fire/Dark, Water/Fighting.

You mean Celebi, Houndour and Poliwrath? (just random pokemon of those types)
Also, the only other working triangle the same way as F/G/W is Rock/Flying/Fighting
In my ROMHack I have Machop/Pidgey/Geodude as starters. Although F/G/W is a staple of the franchise. They will NEVER get off of that. It's just not the same.

Actally in all the different ways you can do that double type triangle the only pokemon they don't have is Fire/Psychic.

I really don't know if a Ro/Fl/Fi type triangle would work. I bet they would have a G/W/F type triangle AGAIN... too bad.
