I was browisng Amazon to order some pokemon manga, and found two differnt versions of Pokemon Adventures. The first one in one series is called , "Mysterious Mew" and the first in the other is , "Desperado Pikachu" I was just wondering which is better, or what is the differnece. I'm sorry if this is a noobish question.

Both of those are published by Viz, and trust me, it confused me at first also. The "Mysterious Mew" is a smaller issue by viz, containing about 3 or 4 chapters from Volume 1, I believe. "Desperado Pikachu" is the Viz equivalent of Chuang Yi's Volume 1.

Here's what I mean:
Volume 1: Desperado Pikachu
i) Mysterious Mew
ii) Wanted: Pikachu!
iii) Starmie Surprise
iv) The Snorlax Stop
v) Gastly Ghosts

i-v are smaller issues that, when put together, are the equivalent of Desperado Pikachu.

Hope that helped!

He doesn't know what he's talking about, that's all there is to explain.

Mysterious Mew and Desperado Pikachu are virtually the same things, Desperado Pikachu has Mysterious Mew in it, and more chapters.

Therefore, Desperado Pikachu=Mysterious Mew.

IMO, Desperado Pikachu > Mysterious Mew.
