Help for team for Pokemon rocks america

my qualifiyer is pretty soon and I need some advice on 6 to use for it. but here are some of my ideas

I gave you Mewtwo and Shedninja at Team Request so I hope you like them. :)

Rayquaza should be adamant or Jolly, not Lonely. I prefer CB Adamant Rayquaza with Extremespeed/Rock Slide/Earthquake/Aeriel Ace or HP Flying.

I'm guessing since you have Mewtwo and Rayquaza that you want more Ubers.

Here are more options to choose from.

Regice: Ice Beam/Thunder/Thunder Wave/Rest

A special wall.

Regirock: Explosion/Rock Slide/Curse/Earthquake

A physical wall.

Celebi: Leech Seed/Calm Mind/Psychic/Baton Pass

This is a example. Take advantage of the fact Celebi can learn Baton Pass.

Umbreon: Confuse Ray or Taunt/Wish/Baton Pass/Mean Look
Espeon: Calm Mind/Substitute/Psychic/Baton Pass
Tyranitar: Earthquake/Dragon Dance/Rock Slide/Taunt or Roar or Return or a Filler
Milotic: Ice Beam/Recover/Hypnosis or Toxic/Surf
Vileplume: Sleep Powder/Sunny Day/Solarbeam/HP Fire or Aromathreapy
Rakiou: Calm Mind/HP Grass or Ice or Crunch/Calm Mind/Substitute

Well, considering that JAA is a double battle tourney with ubers allowed, means just about all of the Pokemon YoMama listed, except maybe Regice, won’t work in that environment.

Electricgrass, have you EV trained your Pokemon? If you haven’t, you won’t get far in the tourney.

Protect in the third slot. You can trust to luck and have Scope Lens or Focus Band for it's item.

Mewtwo won't have time to Calm Mind in 2 vs. 2. Give it Protect, which is super important in this environment.


You have several choices for the rest of the team. It’s good to have a weather uber on your roster, either Groudon or Kyogre.

An exploder would be nice, and Snorlax is the best of that bunch. In XD, it learns Selfdestruct and it can also take special hits for your team. Shiftry is also nice since it learns Fake Out and Explosion, and gains a boost from Groudon’s trait. Gengar and Metagross are also great Exploders. Whatever you choose, remember not to explode too early, as some people will take precautions by having both Pokemon Protect.

Metagross probably isn't that great, especially with Groudon themed teams (EQ + Drought-empowered Fire attacks). Meta could work with a bit of Light Screen support, since he can take a half-damage EQ (Double Battles, remember) with a bit of Defence EV.
