Tha Pokemon prophecy Part I: The Meeting

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

Long ago, all of the pokemon types lived together in harmony. Bug, dragon, electric, fighting, fire, flying, ghost,grass, ground, ice, normal, poison, rock, water, steel, dark, and psychic pokemon all enjoyed sharing the land with one another. But soon, this harmony would be short-lived. The other pokemon were having problems with the psychics. They were becoming increasingly arrogant and treating the other pokemon like they were better than the others. They began to get violent, and fights soon broke out among the other pokemon and the psychics. Eventually, they resolved their differences and harmony was restored. But once again, it would be disrupted. A short time after the fighting was resolved, a psychic pokemon by the name of Xatu made a prophecy that three great psychic pokemon by the name of Mew, Mewtwo, and Lugia will one day rule again and rid the world of all other pokemon types instead of psychics, but trainers born on specific dates were the chosen ones to try and stop it. Now, being very smart, the psychics knew their powers had no effect on darks, and began to breed with other pokemon types to expand their strengths and cover their weaknesses, so they could be ready for the great battle that was to come.

Now imagine you are a fellow trainer, and have seen the mysterious warning signs all over the news about a great war prophecized to happen in a few week's time. You are one of the few trainers chosen at birth to one day stop the war, but you know nothing of the secret of your birth. Professor Birch calls you and other trainers to his lab to explain to you your part in the battle. He explains that you are one of the chosen ones with the power to restore harmony and balance between the pokemon, and you must work together with each other to stop Mew, Mewtwo, and Lugia from destroying the world. You are in shock and in awe for a few moments, but you decide it is your destiny to help save the world as we know it. So, you and the other trainers decide to stay together to train with each other and make battle preparations so you can stop Mew, Mewtwo, and Lugia.

History: Chase was born in Rustboro City, where he and his parents lived. But, his parents died from sickness, and he has inherited his parent's money and the house. He isnt exactly a rich person, but he is satisfied with his life and enjoying it with his pokemon

Name: Scott Wyvern

Gender: Male
Description: Around 5'10, with a bit of a toned body. His skin is slightly tanned from all the time he spends traveling. His eyes are a light brownish-red and his hair is the darkest black. His hair is a bit spiky but really messy. Around his neck is a gunmetal silver necklace or pendant in the shape of a crown. He has a scar coming from his right shoulder blade to his left rib on his back. His clothes are dark gray cargo-pants, black long-sleeve shirt with a dragon inprint on the back, black and red sneakers. On his hands are some black fingerless gloves.
Personality: Although he rarely admits it, Scottura is often quite withdrawn and introspective. He knows that there is a lot that he does not understand about himself, and this causes him to be irritable at times, and sometimes even to snap at friends. He changes for the better once he realizes that there are bigger problems than himself to deal with.
History: Scott never really knew his parents, as they died when he was a baby. He was left with his older brother who took care of him.
Other: He can't stand to be around girls that long, as they tend to try and flirt with him.

Description: Jason stands at 5’9 and has an athletic build due to his constant training with his water Pokémon and his love of water sports. He is slightly tanned and has brown spiky hair. His eyes are Sapphire Blue. He wears a black polo with navy blue cargo pants that are baggy and wears black sneakers. He also wears a Yin-Yang necklace.

Personality: Jason is reserved and modest. He is also very smart and has quite an amount of wit. When it comes to battles, he is always focused and determined to win. If he loses, he ignores his dissappointment and congratulates & thanks his opponent for a great match. He is also very quiet, he is very friendly however, once he is comfortable with a person and gains his/her trust.

History: Jason's family was known for quite a while back when they owned a gym. His older sister was the gym leader and the gym was known to use Pokémon of the Water/Ice type. This was how Jason was influenced and loved these type of Pokémon. He always had enjoyed spending time with the Pokémon and learning about them once his sister was done battling for the day. Unfortunately, over time his parents had died in a plane crash, and a little while later sister had married someone and moved on with her life abandoning her gym leader commitment. He then lived with his grandmother. At the time Jason was still only nine years old and was too young to carry on as gym leader and this really upset him. And because of this the gym was left abandoned and was closed. The next 2 years, when he turned 11, he set out to be the best Water/Ice Pokémon trainer and eventually follow his family’s footsteps and become a gym leader. He now works with Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader as one of the minor-leader. Misty was like a role model to him and her specialty was water Pokémon, which he liked. He hoped that one day he’d be just like Misty.

Other: Jason had a bad experience with Ghost type Pokémon during his journey. While traveling in a dark and foggy forest, he encountered these Pokémon which were fooling around with his mind by showing images of a plane crashing into an ocean and images of his parents. He was horrified by this and fainted. When he awoke the next day, he realized that he was rescued by someone and was brought to a Pokémon Center. He has been afraid of Ghost Pokémon ever since.

Name: Hanae

Gender: Female

Description: Hanae is 5’2 and has lustrous green hair that is fashioned into a ponytail via ribbon. Her eyes are a pale green and her skin is pale white. She wears a red plaid skirt along with a white blouse. She has black sneakers and knee-high white socks.

Personality: Hanae is extremely shy and prefers to be by herself. When around people, she likes to agree a lot and when confronted with a problem, she immediately says sorry. Her trust in other people begins if they beat her in a battle. Her own fighting skills are below average as she is usually frightened by the opponent but, there are times when she battles her hardest. Hanae is usually blunt as she doesn’t like to talk much. She also values intellect over power.

History: Hanae grew up in Saffron City in the Kanto Region. She used to watch Sabrina fight against other trainers. Her parents transferred to Mossdeep and asked Hanae’s aunt to take of her. Her parents left her a shiny Larvitar which she never let evolve.

Other: Hanae is fond of Psychic types but will never admit it to someone else.

Name: Raymond Defi ( likes to be called Ray)

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Description: Ray has black hair that looks like he hasn’t had a haircut in months, or combed for that matter. His eye color is green and he usually squints them together. It’s just a nerve that he got used to doing. He wears a dark blue long sleeve shirt and black leather gloves. He has tan skin and black pants, the left side being torn a little at the bottom to make it look like a half bell bottom. He has black shoes with dark blue streaks on them.

Personality: Ray’s personality is the usual from what you would expect from a teenager; from attitude to his walk and everything in-between. Whenever he knows something, he blurts out the answer, caring not if he was in the conversation or not. Pessimistic as he appears, he still has a soft side, no matter what he gives out in his usual life.

History: Ray usually hangs around outside in the hot sun. He just gets attracted to it, but like normal people, knows when it gets to hot to be out there. Sometimes he uses his Pokémon as an excuse to be outside, saying he’s training them. As much as he likes the sun, at night he will occasionally get out and feel the fresh night air.

Other: Anything that would attract him, he tries to hide. He isn’t too open about what people should know on what he likes. He likes it that way.

Name: Erin Moonnite
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Description: Long, dark brown hair that reaches the middle of her back is held back with a cap that has TokyoPop written across it. Usually her cap is seen on backwards to keep her hair out of the way of her hazel eyes. She wears a red t-shirt with the word Anime on it, written in cursive. Her pants and sneakers are black. She also wears a black and red tye around her neck.
She is skinny and flexable, sleek and limble. Slender yet strong and long lasting. Strong is her legs and powerful is her fists, also built well for swimming, running, and other activies.

Personality: She is quiet rebelious and cares not what others think. She is fun-loving and tries to be kind to others. She is sometimes serious, and when serious she is not very trusting and sometimes tries to stay alone. When she is mad or upset she takes it out on no one, unless it is fact that the sorce of her anger or rage is produced by that person. Her trust is hard to obtain, but once obtained, she is a fiercely loyal friend. She often puts other's lives before her own and tries to make others smile even when she connot smile herself.

History: Her parents died in a mysterious fire when she was very small. She has lived by herself for most of her life. Every couple that took her in push her out after a week. She hadn't the faintest idea why. Moonlight, her favorite Pokemon, was givin to her the day before her parent's death. And after the fire, in the rubble she found a black whistle and a flute. She wears the whistle around her neck, on a thread, and keep the flute in her bag.

Other: Erin is deathly afraid of clowns, and she enjoys throwing a punch or two at any clown who annoys her. Otherwise she stays clear of them all together. She has a bit of a sweet tooth and is often random and weird. She often believes random objects are evil, such as clowns. This encludes ducks and cupcakes. But she also believes that Muffins are all powerful and absolutly awesome. She often freaks people out, even if she is acting like herself.

Great!! All of you are accepted!! well, anyways, we should get started right now!

After Professor Birch explains to everyone what has been going on and what we are destined to do, he leaves the room, leaving the stunned group trainers alone with each other. Chase decides to go over and introduce himself to all of them.

"Umm....hey everyone, my name's Chase," he says akwardly. "Im a pokemon trainer from Rustoro City."

Hearing Chase speak and no one else wanting to. Jason decided to speak next. "Hello, I'm Jason and I come from Cerulean City in the Kanto Region. I'm one of the minor-leaders in the Cerulean Gym and I work with Misty the Gym leader. I'm a specialty trainer and I train Water & Ice Type Pokemon."

Although jason is usually quiet and reserved, he likes meeting new people.

"hello, Jason!" says Chase. "What kind of water pokemon do you have?"

Smiles at Chase's friendliness.

"I have a Blastoise, a Starmie, a Vaporeon, a Dewgong, a Cloyster, and a Lapras. Dewgong, Cloyster and Lapras are also Ice Pokemon, and Starmie is also Psychic. How about you? What Pokemon do you have?

"I'm Rachel Bolt, I'm originaly from Viridian City, but I'm always on the road," Rachel says in a calm voice.

Noticing Rachel, Jason sticks out his hand to shake Rachel's.

It's nice to meet you Rachel!... I've been to Viridian before, not too far from Cerulean. I heard they have a tough gym there. well I've all told you my Pokemon. What about yours?

"I have a Salamence, Flygon, Milotic, Blaziken, Dragonite, and Kingdra, you can tell I like dragons," Rachel says, shaking his hand.

"i have one very strong water pokemon.....i hatched it in its shiny form on day when i was fishing when the egg hatched.....it was a shiny mudkip, and it is now a swampert! its one of my most prized! but my prized pokemon is umbreon. it was my first pokemon as an eevee and its my strongest........i also have a flygon, manectric, houndoom, and scizor" he explains. He then notices Rachel. "Nice to meet you Rachel.....your pokemon sound great!"

Jason laughs heartily to Rachel. "So you're a specialty trainer as well. I like that, I'm one myself. I heard Dragon Pokemon are really tough to train. You must be really good to have those kind of Dragon Pokemon."

Chase gets very excited about seeing other trainers and their pokemon, and he finds other trainer's techniques interesting.

"Hey, why dont we let out our pokemon so they can get to know each other?" he asks.

Oh wow, a Mudkip and now a Swampert. I could never find those Pokemon in Kanto. Yeah i don't travel much because I'm always at the Gym. I started with a Squirtle and now its a Blastoise. Staryu was the first Pokemon i caught and after I trained it really well I evolved it into a Starmie. Over time i caught my other Pokemon and Lapras is one of my prized ones because they are really rare.

"Any pokemon can be trained easily if you show it love and respect," Rachel says, taking out her Pokeballs, she lets out her 6 pokemon, who say hello in their respective languages. Among them she has one shiny pokemon, her Salamence, but instead of green, its black and gold. "Some of these pokemon I've had since I was young, Ruby here was my first pokemon ever," she says, patting her Salamence on the head.

Agreeing with chase. Jason lets out his Pokemon outside by a small river for some air. "Blastoise, Starmie, Vaporeon, Cloyster, Dewgong, and Lapras Come on Out!" His Cloyster was not a regular Cloyster. Instead of a Purple outer shell, it was instead Blue because it was a Shiny Pokemon.

"Well, i have more pokemon, i just use these six to travel around with and battle with. I have the strongest bonds with these," he says. "I like to travel alot, i have been to alot of places, even Kanto"

He looks over at Rachel.

"Do you like to travel, Rachel?" he asks.

"Does this answer your question?" Rachel asks, showing her badge case, which has at least 10 badges, 8 from Kanto, and 2 from Joto. "I was traveling through Joto when I was called here."

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Woah.....you're a serious trainer!" he says in amazement. "But so am I!"

He shows her his badge case, which holds all of the Hoenn badges, and about 5 of the Johto ones.

"Here are my pokemon!" he exclaims. "Go, Shadow, Ace, Shox, Howler, Tsunami, and Slasher!"

His Umbreon, Flygon, Manectric, Houndoom, Swampert, and Scizor fly out of their pokeballs, and greet the other pokemon.

Jason's Vaporeon notices Chase's Umbreon. Vaporeon sticks her nose at it and walks away standing next to Jason.

Jason noticing Vaporeon is curious as to why it isn't playing in the Water. "Hey Vaporeon, whats the matter?" Vaporeon looked back at Umbreon and then looked back at Jason. Jason understood.

"Vaporeon, that wasn't very nice. You and Chase's Umbreon both evolved from an Eevee. You should be more respectful. Vaporeon rubbed her head on Jason's legs and walked away to play with the other water pokemon.

He looks at Chase."Sorry about Vaporeon, she doesn't really like meeting other evolutions of Eevee at first, but don't worry she'll become friends with your Umbreon sonner or later!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Impressive," Rachel comments, putting her badge case away in her pack. "Well, we've been called here to save the world, not the first time I've dealt with war."

"Hey why don't we have a beattle using one of our Pokemon just for fun!?," Jason suggested.

"Sure, I'm game," Rachel says.

"Ok Starmie, Lets go! we'll make it two on two instead for more action! First up is Starmie for me." Starmie made its cry in a confident way.

"Go, Queenie!" Rachel says, and her Kingdra comes forward. "Queenie, you know what to do!"

Queenie first sends a wave of water towards Starmie, then fires an Ice Beam, hitting the wave, it immediately freezes, forming a wall of ice between the two pokemon.

"Starmie break that ice down with your Hydro Pump!" Starmie did as commanded. and broke the wall of ice between them... "Now Starmie Water Pulse!"... Starmie sent a strong current of Water towars Kingdra.

Watching Rachel and Jason, Chase sees the trainers are geting ready to battle, and he walks over to them.

"Are you two getting ready to battle? he asks. "I'll judge the match for you guys!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

Unfortunately, by the time Starmie's attack had reached the wall, it had already been broken, and the ice is heading straight for Starmie, powered by a Hyper Beam attack.

Jason simply smiled knowing that Starmie was part Psychic. "Starmie, Confusion!".... the hyper beam was heading back towards Kingdra.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Queenie, Dive," Rachel commands, and the Kingdra dives underwater, and the Hyper Beam goes harmlessly by.

"Starmie Whirlpool!".... Starmie dove under water and created a Whirlpool around Kingdra.

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Queenie, if you can hear me, use the plan we've been working on ever since Cerise Island," Rachel says.

Beneath the surface, Queenie starts swimming in circles around inside the Whirlpool, doing so creates a secound one, canceling out the first, but it keeps growing, and begins to suck in Starmie.

"The Ant Pit Trap," Rachel says with a small smirk.

Jason, suprised by this move, saw his Starmie get sucked in... He didn't know what to do... until... "Starmie let the Whirlpool suck you in... when your in the middle jump put of the water and cancel that whirlpool with a waterfall attack! Please Starmie i know you can!"

Starmie was running out of energy fast trying to get out of the whirlpool but listened to its command and let the Whirlpool suck it in... once in the middle Starmie jumped out and a created a powerful Waterfall attack to cancel the Whirlpool out...

Jason knew that Starmie was getting tired fast... "Starmie, hang in there."

The Whirlpool is too powerfull, it cancles the attack out.

"This tactic is called the Ant Pit Trap, a combo first used by Mewtwo that creates a tornado, or in this case a whirlpool, powerfull enough to deflect the strongest of attacks, its taken me 4 long years to perfect it," Rachel explains. Of course, an Ice Beam can stop it, but lets see what he does next.

A great Idea came quickly to Jason's mind to help out Starmie. Starmie, Recover!... Starmie did as told and regained half of her HP back. Starmie looked a little stronger but it was still tired inside.

(I gotta go now, we'll continue this later.)

Right after Starmie used Recover, the whirlpool from Kingdra came up and blew Starmie landing on Jason.... "Starmie!".... The jewel in the middle of its core was blinking fast and Jason let Starmie go back to the small river to recover...

"Your Kingdra is really powerful!... My Last Pokemon will be Blastoise"... Blastoise walked over and was ready to fight.

Realizing that Rachel needed a break he told his Blastoise that it would battle against Rachel later. Blastoise acknowledged and returned to the other Water Pokemon. He went to comfort his Starmie and gave a bottle of Hyper Potion to it. "You did really well out there Starmie, You battled your hardest I ever seen. I'm really proud of you," and he hugged his Starmie. Starmie felt comforted and rested in the water while Jason was spraying Hyper Potion on her.

"That was some good battling there, Jason!" says Chase. "But how about battling me?" he asks. "I'll test my skill as a trainer and show you what i got!"

He stands there looking at Jason while waiting in response.

Hearing This, Jason's Vaporeon jumped up wanting to battle and glaring at Umbreon. Jason not noticing any of this accepted Chase's Challenge. "Sure I'll battle you. One on One.... I choose.." before he could answer Vaporeon jumped in front of him. "Vaporeon?"...

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Great!" said Chase. "I'll choose...." but before he could answer, Shadow jumped up, rings glowing and red eyes glaring at vaporeon. "I guess Shadow wants to battle, so I'll choose him! Go, Shadow!"

Umbreon charged onto the battlefield, ready for a battle.

"Vaporeon Fog up this place... Mist!".... the air suddenly became dense and thick... making it hard to see through all the fog and mist. Vaporeon then jumped out and launched a tail whip on Umbreon.

"Shadow, use double team and follow up with agility!" said Chase.

Umbreon made illusionary copies of himself and dodged the tail whip, then used agility so it would be even harder for vaporeon to attack him as he and the copies were flying around field.

"Vaporeon lets powerup your water attacks and get them ready, Rain Dance!"... Vaporeon started dancing a specific dance and 2 seconds later Rain came pouring down making the weather really bad along with the fog. The rain dance powered up all Vaporeon's water attacks. Now Vaporeon, focus and find the real Umbreon... It was taking a while to find Umbreon and focues while the fog and rain made it harder.

"Keep it up, Shadow, you're doing great!" yelled Chase. "Now, use Shadow Ball!"

Umbreon fired the black balls out of the rain and fog while still using its double team/agility combo, maming the balls fly at a higher speed and giving it the element of surprise due to the weather.

Vaporeon saw the shadow ball attakcs and pushed them out of her way with her Water Gun. The fog and mist finally lifeted but it was still raining. "Now Vaporeon Quick Attack! Vaporeon carged at Umbreon at a really high speed. She jumped and launched her quick attack.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin blinks, taking the shock of it all in.
'This is insane.. How could I, Erin Moonnite, of all people?! How could I be chosen among these people when my past was so horrible.. How are we suppose to travel together if no one can stand me for over a week?' Erin asked herself. She looked at the others who were inroducing themselves.

Moonlight looked up at Erin and tilted her head before nudging Erin's leg. Erin looked down at Moonlight and nodded slowly. Erin slowly walked up to where a battle was taking place, she watched carefully as two Pokemon battled it out. She stood silently and watched, Moonlight sitting beside her.

Jason noticed Erin watching the battle.

"Shadow, quick, faint attack!" yelled Chase.

Umbreon quickly used faint attack to narrowly dodge the quick attack and teleported directly behind vaporeon.

"Now follow up with night shade!!" he said.

Umbreon fired black rays of energy at vaporeon.

"Vaporeon behind you, NOW!" Vaporeon already knew what Jason wanted her to do. She turned around, inhlaed some air, and let out a powerful and speedy Hydro Pump headed towards Umbreon to compete with the night shade attack. Vaporeon then used minimize to improve her evasiveness.

The two attacks collided head-on, knocking both pokemon back into the wall.

"Shadow, get up!!" Chase coaxed. "C'mon, Shadow, i know you can do it!"

Shadow was slowly getting to his feet and panting. The explosion knocked alot out of him.

Vaporeon looked tired from the last blow and Jason ran up to her."Vaporeon are you ok? can you continue?"...Vaporeon got up slowly still glaring at Umbreon. She did the last attack she could handle, Surf. Amazed by this and Vaporeon ambition, Jason let her, she wanted to win and she wasn't going to give up until she was too weak to continue, but she looked tired enough already. Vaporeon created a large wave headed strait towards Umbreon.

"Shadow, great, you got up! Now, recover using Moonlight and follow up with Psychic!! said Chase.

Still weak, Umbreon recovered using its signature recovery move, moonlight, and returned at full power. Then it concentrated and used a powerful psychic attack, sending the wave right back at the vaporeon he had a personal rivalry against.

"Vaporeon, Dive!". Vaporeon dove and broke through the Wave coming at her. She was breathing heavy and glared at Umbreon. There was a complete silence between the two for a while...."

Umbreon was glaring right back at Vaporeon, doing nothing but glaring. He was glaring with a sense of pride, he was doing this for pride, as well for his trainer, Chase.

"Shadow, finish it off with a Shadow Ball attack!" Chase said.

Umbreon did a very loud cry and let out a powerful Shadow Ball at Vaporeon.

"Vaporeon, one more Hydro Pump!" Vaporeon cried loud as well as she sent out her strongest Hydro Pump ever, and fell to the ground after that...

An explosion happened after the two attacks collided, and smoke filled the place. When the explosion happened, Chase thought he heard Shadow's cry of "Bre"

"Shadow, where are you!? Shadow?" he yelled frantically.

As the smoke cleared, he saw vaporeon on the ground at the other side of the field. He looked at his side, and saw Shadow. He was still standing, and his rings were glowing. He had used one last Faint attack to dodge the explosion by teleporting high in the air.

"Alright, Shadow!!" yelled Chase in hapiness. "We did it!!"

"Vaporeon, you did great. Thanks for the match Chase, your Umbreon showed alot of fight in him." Jason then carried his Pokemon by the river with his other pokemon to recover, spraying hyper potion on her.

Jason was resting on the grass beside his pokemon, beat from all the pokemon mathces he had today. She got up and walked over to Chase's pokemon and found Umbreon. She went closer to Umbreon and looked at him hoping that she would get his attention. "Por.." she called out to Umbreon.

Umbreon was busy rolling around with Houndoom when he noticed Vaporeon coming near. He jumped up and immediately started to glow his rings, ready for a fight. But, he noticed Vaporeon wasn't acting her usual mean way to him, but she was submissive, so he went closer to her. "Bre" he called to her.

Vaporean licked one of Umbreon's ears.... this was a sign of affection... she ran around Umbreon and ran towards the field motioning for him to come with her and play. "Poreon..."...she called to him.

Shadow followed, and they both started to play around. In the meantime, Chase went back to talking to Jason.

"Well, we have been chosen to save the world, but what do you think we should do first?" he asked. "I really think we should have a plan for this...."

Moonlight looked up at the Umbreon, named Shadow, that was battling. She seemed very interested in this Shadow, she watched him intently.

Erin looked down at her Pokemon with a giggle. Erin reached down to pet Moonlight's head. "Don't go all boy crazy on me, now." Erin told Moonlight, laughing slightly.

Moonlight looked up at her trainor, then murred and nuzzled her leg. Soon after she returned to intently watching Shadow as Erin chuckled at her. Moonlight jumpped up onto the arena and wagged her tail about playfully. Erin looked up her her treaured Pokemon, chuckling and crossing her arms.

"Don't over due it, Moonlight." Erin told Moonlight as Erin walked about to find a place to sit.

Jason woke up noticing that Vaporean wasn't there. "Hey where did...?" He noticed that Vaporeon and Umbreon were finally friends and playing together. 'Thats my Vaporeon' he though to himself.

Henoticed that Chase was talking to him. Huh?.... oh yeah, i couldn't believe it myself... do you know whatall this is about? maybe we should go back and ask the Proffessor.

Chase saw the girl that tried to introdce herself before, during the battle. He felt a little bad for not paying attention to her before, and decided to make it up to her now. He walked over and introduced himself.

"Hello, Erin, im sorry I blew you off before, I was in the middle of an important battle," he said, blushing a little. "My name is Chase, and I'm from Rustboro City."

Jason also introduced himself. "I appologize for not paying attention either because of the battle... but Pleased to meeyou Erin." He stuck his hand out.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin smiled at the boy, Chase, who approached her. She bowed slightly in greeting before sticking out her hand to shake. "It's nice to meet you, Chase. I didn't want to interupt your battle.. Moonlight seemed to take kindly to your Umbreon.. Shadow, was it?" Erin asked.

Moonlight was seen walking up to the two who were playing. Erin saw that Moonlight attempted to introduce herself, showing off her glowing rings. In Erin's eyes, Moonlight made a very good first impression to anyone, unless, of course, that person was threatening Erin.

Erin shook the hand of the trainor whom owned the Vaporeon. "Great battle, both of you." Erin commented.

"My Name is Jason and I'm from Cerulean City In Kanto. I'm a specialty trainer and train Water & Ice Type Pokemon. I work with Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader as a minor-leader. Are you surpised that you got called here also?"

"Yes, his name is Shadow," he said. "It looks like your Umbreon is interested in him," he said with a chuckle.

Chase looked over at them and saw the female Umbreon going over. Shadow stopped playing at once, and signaled a "stop" motion to vaporeon and ran over to the other umbreon. "Bre!" said Shadow eagerly and he started to glow his rings, too.

"Por...."she said sadly... and left the two alone... she went back to the where Jason's Pokemon all were.

Meanwhile, Jason went back in to talk to the professor.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin gave an odd look of discomfort at the word 'Misty'. "I-it's nice to meet you, too, Jason.. Yeah, it's kind of a surpirse to be called here.. Well, anyway, the name is Erin Moonnite, and I'm from Lilycove City." Erin said, cheering up a bit.

Moonlight's rings glew of a deep blue color, flashing on and off as she ran about with Shadow, jumpping over him when she got the chance. Erin watched this and giggled. "That's my girl.." Erin said under her breath, watching her beloved Pokemon.

Before he went in he noticed the look on Erin's face."Hey Erin is there somthing wrong?... did i say something?".... he was curious as to why she look uncomfortable.

"Shadow!" said Chase. "Get over here now!"

Shadow walked over to him, puzzled. "Bre?"

"That wasnt nice!" he scolded. "Go over, and play with Vaporeon and The other Umbreon too!"

"Bre...."

Vaporeon refused to go back with Umbreon and stayed with the water pokemon.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin turned to Jason, scratching the back of her head nerviously. "Uh.. Well, you see.. Misty and I... We don't do well together, let's just say." Erin said. 'I don't want to ever see her face again...' Erin thought to herself about Misty.

Moonlight had followed Shadow, and saw his trainor scole him. Moonlight ran over the Vaporeon and talked in Pokemon language to her. Moonlight's voice sounded happly and kind as she invited Vaporeon to play with Shadow and herself.

"Wait, you know Misty? how?"... he was suprised to hear this because he never saw Erin before.

Starmie went up in front of Vaporeon at first to protect her. But Vaporeon went around and told Starmie it was fine and Vaporeon became friends with another Umbreon.

Erin crossed her arms and sighed. "It's been a long time.. But I'll never forget her.." Erin said, her voice a bit deep with distaste. "It was my first day as an offical trainor. My first foster parents moved me to Kanto, and then dumpped me. So I was alone with Moonlight when Misty comes around and demands a battle. So, we battle, and I win.. She tells me that I cheated and said that I couldn't ever enter the Gym where she lived. And I guess the rule was inforce. Cerulean Gym Badge is the only Kanto Badge I do not have." Erin explained.

Moonlight happily ran off into a field, hoping Shadow and Vaporeon would follow. She was glad she made two new friends. And as a sign of friendship, her rings glew bright with joy.

*laughs heartily*... "Well, yes i have to agree with you that she was a sore loser but now shes really different now... she's really tired of being the gym leader there and doesn't care if she wins or loses. Which is actually bad for the Gym reputation. She sadi that she would resing soon because she wanted to continue travling wiht her friends with that annoying arrogant kid named Ash.... but anyway.. i'm next in line to be Gym Leader of that Gym. So when i do become Gym Leader you could challenge me instead of her."

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin looked a bit shcoked when Jason mentioned Ash. "Ash Ketchum? I've met him, too! The last time I saw him was..." Erin remebered the moment, and looked down at the ground in disappointment. "The last I saw him was at... The city of water.." Erin spoke slowly. She sighed and continued, "It's another reason Misty hates my guts.. She knew something no one else knew.." Erin stopped talking. She turned and watched Moonlight play with her new friends. "It's nothing improtant.." Erin conclueded.

Noticing her disappoinment, he changed the subject..."So...about this call here...should we go talk to the professor.. i still don't understand how i got chosen and why i'm here?... I mean i know Psychic pokemon have gone out of control, but why?"

"So, you guys," started Chase. "We were chosen to save the world. Do you think we should start training and planning strategies? I mean, Lugia, Mewtwo, and Mew are no pushovers."

Chase looks at the two of them while watching the three eons play around, waiting in response.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin nodded to Chase, "Yeah, these are some serious Pokemon we're talking about. Although, since they're Psychic, they are weak against Dark Type. Mew and Mewtwo we can talk about later. But since Lugia is two typed, Psychic and Flying, we have another type to talk about... And besides, when is this thing suppose to happen?" Erin asked.

"But what does this mean for my Starmie... because i mean its a Water and a Psychic Type?.... Will it be influenced and join the others?... Jason looked at his Starmie enjoying itself and was worried about it.

"It might," said Chase worriedly. "Has it been acting wierd lately? Maybe we should keep an eye on it just in case."

"But in the meantime, we should go ask Prof. Birch for more information. what do you guys think?"

He looks at the other pokemon and cant help but wonder how dangerous this mission could possibly be.

Jason agreed and brought his Starmie with him to ask Prof. Birch about the situation of the Psychic Pokemon."Yea I think thats a good idea."

Erin nodded, "Agreed, let's go talk to Birch.. Although... We could travel around the world and talk to all the other professors. I believe Oak would have some kind of say in this.. Things like this should attract a Professor like him, right?"

"hmm.....maybe you're right," thought Chase. "Lets go to the pokemon center so we can use nurse joy's computer to have an online conference with all of the professors. We need to contact Birch, Oak, Elm,and even Prof. Ivy, okay guys?"

"Ok so where the nearest Pokemon Center?" Jason called all his pokemon back into their Pokeballs.

"Its in Oldale Town, just up ahead," explained Chase, also recalling his pokemon, too. "I think we should go right away! Is everyone ready?" Chase looked around at them all, and started to put everything back in his bag. "Return, Ace, Howler, Slasher, Tsunami, Shox!"

"Blastoise, Starmie, Vaporeon, Dewgong, Cloyster, and Lapras return!.... Ready!"

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Okay! But shouldnt we wait for Erin and Rachel? They are strong trainers we will need for the war, ya know," said Chase. "Or we could leave em a note telling where we have gone....that way they can meet up with us later, that way we can bring them up to speed when they get there, okay? Let's go!"

Ok just hold on a sec.... there! Ok lets go!... he left a note on the door of Prof. Birch's Lab to Catch up with him and Chase, when they get back.

Together, Chase and Jason start off towards the Pokemon Center to have an online conference about what ahs been going on lately and what they are destined to do in the war and when it will happen. Its hot outside, but walking isnt a problem for Chase, who is used to it, having been on mny journies himself. He soon looks at Jason, his new friend, and asks him about his views on what may happen.

"Hey, Jason?" says Chase as he walks on. "What do think's gonna happen? What do you think the professors might say?" he asks.

Jason thought for a while and couldn't think of anything, "I don't know... i think they'll say the same thing they said before, we were chosen to fight off these Psychic Pokemon, but why? & how?.... Why are we the chosen ones?.... all those rare Psychic Pokemon are tough... why do they think we can defeat them?"

(I gotta try and get on more often.)

Okay Rachel, you've seen how Mewtwo works, you even use one of his tactics yourself, but that might not be enough, Rachel thinks, she had followed Jason and Chase silently, and finaly speaks up. "I don't know about Lugia or Mew, but fighting Mewtwo's going to be no picnic, I've seen how he fights, and the Ant Pit Trap is only one of his most dangerous tactics."

(I can controll Mewtwo when we get around to fighting him, I've done research into his powers, from both the movie, and the manga.)

Erin noticed the absence of the others as she picked up the note stating where they were. 'Meeting with all the Professors?! There is no way I can miss this!!' Erin declared as she pulled out a Pokeball.

"Moonlight, come!" Erin called. Moonlight came running up to her trainor, looking up at her. Erin tossed the Pokeball in the air, "C'mon out, Tiger!" Erin called and the Pokeball opened. A red light came from the Pokeball and soon meshed into a mighty Arcanine.

Erin jumpped onto Tiger, as did Moonlight. "Okay, Tiger, onward!" Erin said and Tiger began cantering at an easy pace towards Oldale Town.

"Nice Arcanine," Rachel comments, looking over at Erin.

Erin looked down at Rachel. "Thanks," Erin said. "He comes in handy." Erin said, patting his mane. Moonlight was seated infront of Erin, between her arms. "I would've just flown to Oldale, but I thought Tiger could use a run." Erin explained. "It takes a lot of exercise to keep this big boy in shape!" Erin said.

"I hear yah, my pokemon can be a handful when your not carefull," Rachel says.

After what Prof. Birch told him, Ray was left speechless. Not the kind of speechless he would give with his attitude, but the kind of surprise. He wasn’t a very talkative person, and preferred traveling alone. Now he was being told to believe something only a six year old would believe from another kid, but this is from one of the biggest scientist of the world. He’d doubt someone would put up a plan to freak seven normal teens out of their wits for kicks.

Leaving this to handle, he left the building as the other trainers introduced themselves. He waited outside, pondering over his information. The trainers soon started battle. Normally, he would go and just watch for awhile, and then when over, ask to join in on another battle. But he couldn’t put the fact that he was a chosen one away. It was freaking him out. He wasn’t anyone special like a Pokémon Master, he was just Raymond Defi.

Maybe it has something to do with my name? he thought to himself. Raymond is a pretty old name, and Defi is pronounced the same as defy, as in defying laws of physics, or in this case, psychics. Maybe that’s it.

As he kept thinking it over, he noticed two of the trainers leaving. He looked up at the beating hot sun. He knew just by looking at it that he had been out there for awhile now. He then noticed another teenage girl follow them, then shortly after, another girl with an Arcanine.

If it’s really up to me and these strangers to save the world…then…I really have to make the best of it.

Sighing, Ray slowly walked to the front of Prof. Birch’s lab and found a note on the front doorstep, seemingly thrown to the ground. The wind lashed at it, trying to pick it up. Ray bent down and snatched the note, reading it. He turned around and released his Alakazam from his Pokéball. He gave his usual greetings to his trainer, and Ray grinned.

“To Oldale Town,” he said. He neared his Pokémon, then started to have doubts, remembering what the Prof. was saying. Alakazam seemed to pick his mind up telepathically, reading it and getting a grim expression showing as if his trainer didn’t trust him anymore. “No, don’t worry,” Ray said to him. “I trust you a lot, Alakazam. I know you won’t betray me. It’s just that this is getting really weird. I’ll fill you in on details later.”

And with that, Alakazam brought his spoons in front of him, and a white light surrounded both of them. There was a sudden flash, with a small gust that rose in a nine-foot diameter, and they were both gone.

IC: Hanae stood outside of the lab and watched as a mysterious teenager and his Alakazam left. She looked back and saw that she was basically alone and she too should head for Oldale town with the rest of them. She looked across her Pokeballs and noticed that she didn't have any means of transportation to the town; she finally noticed her Lunatone when a group of passerbys were talking about Psychic Pokemon.

She threw out the Pokeball and awoke Lunatone from her light nap inside the sphere. "Lunatone... do you think you can send me to Oldale Town? I know we never been there... I know you can do it though!" said the girl. Lunatone started to float and then her red eyes flared up while her body was covered in a fine layer of purple. Hanae closed her eyes while the two left the lab and headed towards Oldale.

Noticing all the people that arrived at the Pokemon Center in Oldale Town... he realized that these were the other trainers that came from Prof. Birch's lab.

He then introduced himslef to the other trainers."Hi, I'm Jason and I'm from Cerulean City. Its nice to meet you guys!"

Just seconds after arriving, Ray was greeted heartily by one of the trainers that was with him when he was told he was chosen.

"Hi, I'm Jason and I'm from Cerulean City. Its nice to meet you guys!"

Ray shook away some mild dizziness that had built up inside him while he had traveled with his Alakazam. He wasn’t used to being greeted right away and wasn’t used to greeting others right away. That just wasn’t him, but he figured he would have to be with the trainer for awhile, so he had to say something.

“Um…I’m Ray?” he said uncertainly.

Feeling the suspicious vibe coming from Ray, he shook his hand lightly and simply smiled.

When Chase and Jason arrived at Oldale Town, soon followed by Erin and Rachel, they realized that more trainers were coming. As they came closer into plainer view, Chase soon realized that these were other trainers from Professor Birch's Lab.

"They must have read the note," thought Chase. "It's good they have all decided to come, that way we wont screw up anything the professors have to say, and they will have heard it themselves.

Chase soon learned the other trainers' names. One trainer being Ray, who came teleported by his Alakazam. He also met another trainer, named Hanae, who was also teleported by her psychic pokemon, Lunatone. He greeted them all in fairness.

"Hello, trainers. I have seen you at the lab, but never gotten around to introducing myself," he said. "My name is Chase, and im from Rustboro City."

Realizing that there were more Psychic Pokemon to worry about, Jason let out his Starmie, so when they talked to the Professor, they could show them their Psychic Pokemon and what to be cautious of.

"Come out Starmie." Jason threw a Pokeball on the floor. After a bright white flash, a 10-pointed purple starfish that had a magnificent large Ruby jewel in the center of it as its core came out. It cried its familiar cry which sounded almost like a sigh, "Huuh!". However when it was mad or in a tough battle its cry sounded more like a "Hmph!".

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"These are some pretty strong psychic pokemon," said Chase. "We might want to watch them just in case. I mean, Lugia, Mewtwo, and Mew will probably try and control them using their own powers, and we dont want that."

"Bre!" said Shadow in agreement.

"Huuh." Starmie cried out. She was sad at the thought of Mewtwo taking control of her. She had heard that Mewtwo was the worst of all Psychic Pokemon. That he nearly destroyed the world and humans. Starmie would not let that happen to her & Jason.

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Dont worry, guys! I bet we can protect your psychic pokemon from those evil ones!" said Chase. "Im sure your pokemon will be okay, though it would be a little more helpful if we ask the Professors some questions....."

Jason was getting a little impatient and was really worried for his Starmie.

"So Chase, when exctly are we gonna talk to the Professors?," trying his best to hide the impatatient tone in his voice.

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"When do you want to?" asked Chase. "Do you wanna talk to them now, or wait for the others?"

Jason agreed to wait for the others."I think it's best that we wait for the others so that they can hear it themselves." Jason then waited pateintly with his Starmie next to him.

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Right, well while we wait, im gonna go get something to eat. Shadow's getting hungry, and im sure the others are, too," Chase said. "Do you want me to get you anything while you wait Your pokemon may be hungry, too." asked Chase.

Jason appreciated Chase's thoughtfulness for his Pokemon. "Thanks Chase, but I'm sure my Pokemon are fine. Thanks for asking though," and smiled .

"Okay," Chase gave Jason a sort of smile. "I'll be right back in about.......*checks his pokenav* 20 minutes."

He walks out the door, leaving Jason at the pokemon center.

[Erin Moonnite]

Erin could be last seen about the door of the PokeCenter. But, oddly, she did not enter. Erin had went into the back of the Center where no one could see her. Erin pulled a Perimer Ball from her belt and released one of her Pokemon, Mirage, the Claydol.

"Mirage.." Erin said slowly. Mirage gave off an odd, soothing noise, knowing something was wrong. "No, it's just... I'm worried about you and-...No, I trust you... What? No! Mirage!" Erin yelled. Mirage could telipathically speak to Erin.

"I never said that!" Erin protested. Erin fell to her knees, her eyes soon filled with tears. "I never said that!!" Erin protested.
'But you thought it.' Mirage said in her head.
"I will not have a Pokemon who does not trust me! I did not raise you from a Baltoy just to lose you or think negitive thoughts!! I did not care for you, feed you, heal you when you were sick or hurt just for this...." Erin explained.
Mirage remanded slient. Erin's tears left her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.

"After all we've been through.. I'm not going to lose you to some group of legendary Pokemon who think they're the most powerful Pokemon in the history of forever.. Never would I let them take you away from me, Mirage..."

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

Chase returns to the Pokemon Center with Shadow at his side, carrying a bagload of food he bought for himself, along with some pokeblock treats for Shadow and his other pokemon. He also saved some for the other trainer's pokemon, just in case they wanted any.

"Im back, guys!" says Chase as he walks through the door. "That was a good walk, eh, Shadow?"

"Bre!"

Jason and Starmie went outside to get some fresh air. But they could hear someone sniffing and wimpering. Starmie looked around and went around the Pokemon center and cried out to Jason who followed her. And their he saw Erin and genuinely asked her, ""Hey Erin, are you alright? whats the matter?..."

"Hmm, I wonder where everyone is?" said Chase. He went over to nurse joy to ask her where his friends went.

"Oh, yes i saw him," said Nurse Joy. "He went outside for a little while, he should be back soon."

"Okay, thanks Nurse Joy!" smiled Chase.

Chase went out the pokemon center when Shadow heard something.

"Bre!"

They both walk around the side of the building, where they see Jason and Erin. Erin's crying and Jason's talking to her.

"Hey, guys, whats wrong?" Chase asked.

Jason noticed Chase. "I'm not sure, it seems like she really worried about her Psychic pokemon, Claydol.... Erin, I'm also worried about my Starmie because it also a Psychic type... and I wouldn't let anything happen to my Starmie just like you wouln't with your Claydol... but don't worry, we're going to talk to the Professors soon and see what they have to say.... and we'll always help eachother out with our Psychic Pokemon."

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"That's right, Erin! Even though i dont have any psychic type pokemon, i know what its like to care for your pokemon, and ill try my best to protect claydol," he said. "And starmie," he added to Jason. "Ill help all of you!"

Jason's Starmie heard this and looked at Chase. Its jewel in its center started glowing a bright red and glowed like the northern lights. Jason smiled at his Starmie and spoke to Chase.

"Thats a good sign, Chase. Whenever a Starmie, or Staryu glows like that it means it likes you and trusts you."

Chase bent down to starmie and looked at it straight into its core.

"Thanks Starmie, i appreciate your trust," said Chase.

"Now..." Chase turned to Jason. "I'm ready to meet with the Profesors. I wish everyone would hurry and get here," said Chase impatient.

"Yeah me too!... if only they were all here at the same time." Jason also said impatiently.

Rachel is watching from the shadows, not yet revealing her presence. At least they seem to get along well, but I have a feeling that this war will test more than our skills as trainers, she thinks.

Jason notices Rachel. Hey Rachel!... you finally made it!... sorry we wern't able to continue our battle but right now we're all worried about our Psychic Pokemon... we're not sure what will happen to them."

"This is why I always use Dragons," Rachel says, steping out of the shadows. "I'm not sure myself as to what will happen to your Psychic pokemon, I've never seen it tried against any of the 3 legendaries we're dealing with."

He spoke back to Rachel. "Yea thats what I'm worried about?.... goign against those Legendary Psychic Pokemon."

Ray flushed the urinal and washed his hands. Again, he just couldn’t stay with the others. He had already put Alakazam back in his Pokéball, but couldn’t stop wondering. Not just about Alakazam, but about everything. The whole thing was just crazy, the idea that he and some trainers had to save the world was just…fairy taleish, nothing made sense. Still he had to do what he had to do. Because if this was true, then the fate of the world was on his shoulders…he couldn’t understand how the others could coupe with that knowledge, but he knew that it would be hard to understand it.

He walked out of the Pokémon Center and looked up. The sun was up high and mighty. He sighed and walked over to a bench and sat down. There had to be a way to get through with this. He knew there was, but he couldn’t think right. Ray stood there in the sun, and waited for the others incase they turned up.

"Hey, guys! Are you ready to call up the professors?" he asks.

Rachel shrugs. "Yeah, I guess so."

"Okay!" says Chase, ready for the conference.

He goes to Nurse Joy, who is tending to another trainer's pokemon at the moment, blissey being at her side.

"Excuse me, again, but Nurse Joy?" asks Chase politely.

"Yes?" asks Nurse Joy.

"Can you show us the way to the computer, we need to access it to have a conference with the professors regarding what's been going on lately," explains Chase. "You see, we are the 'chosen ones' and we need some questions answered."

"The chosen ones?" says Nurse Joy anxiously. "I would show you to the computers, but ths pokemon neds urgent care. I'll have Blissey show you the way."

Nurse Joy's Blissey signals to Chase that she is ready to go.

"Okay, guys, follow me!" says Chase.

Jason laughed at Chase's heroicness attitude at the moment."You mean follow Blissey," he added with a smirk.

Rachel follows close behind without saying anything. I wonder if I should change my clothes, half the people I meet confuse me for that Lucy woman over in the Battle Frontier, she thinks randomly.

Erin smiled at everyone that approached her. "Mirage has been acting different, though.. I'm not sure it trusts me anymore.." Erin said slowly.

"That's not you said five minutes ago..." Erin sighed. "Return, Mirage.." Erin said, calling it back into it's Pokeball.

Erin whiped her face and headed into the Center. "You won't see me act like that often." Erin said simply before walking through the doors, Moonlight and Tiger following.

Jason immediately recognizes Prof. Oak. "Professor Oak!.... remember me, Jason, I started my journey when you gave me my Squirtle. But now i'm not a trainer anymore, I'm a minor-leader at the Cerulean Gym.... but Professor, why was I chosen for this task?... I mean i'm only a specialty trainer...

"I've been wondering that myself," Rachel says.

"Ahhh, yes i remember you well Jason. Big fan of water pokemon, i suppose that squirtle is doing well," he says. "But i knew you would come and ask us why you all were chosen...."

"Allow me to start off, Professor Oak," says Prof. Ivy. "You may all have heard the story, but i will give you a short version of it, so you I can get to the point. Long ago, all of the pokemon types lived in harmony. They all lived together leacefully and never fought. Soon, they began having prblems with the psychics, who were becoming arrogant. Fighting broke out, but it was resolved. One day a psychic Xatu made a prophecy saying 'three psychic pokemon greater than ever before will come to power and rid the world of all but psychics' the psychics were smart, and knew they had no chance against darks, but they began to breed with other types, expanding their strengths. now, there have been reports suggesting this new war will happen soon, as terrible storms have been created in waters Lugia was rumored to be last seen, and mew and mewtwo have been reported seen, and psychic pokemon all over the world are getting restless. we think they are controlling other psychic pokemon, gathering an army for the war that is to come."

"Ill take it from here," says Prof. Oak. "Now, legend has it the Xatu prophecized a special group of trainers born on specific days will have the power to stop them. Now we keep birth records of newborns in our respective regions, all of the professors do. we have seen that you all were born on these specific days. It was Fate that chose you, not the professors."

"But isn't Mewtwo a man-made pokemon? Wouldn't that have some effect on the prophescy?" Rachel points out.

Jason was interested in hearing this and spoke to all the Professors, "Where is this Xatu, Professors?... I mean shouldn't we go find it and talk to it?... it may have more information for us and about this legend."

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"I'll explain," says Prof. Elm. "Yes, Rachel, Mewtwo is a man-made pokemon, BUT what you are forgetting is, its a clone of the two original legendary psychics, mewtwo being the third. Mewtwo has apparently inherited Mew's thirst for power, therefore becoming the third pokemon next to Lugia and Mew."

"And as for Xatu," said Prof. Birch, "It died a long time ago shortly after it made the prophecy, so we cant give you anymore information on how to stop the psychics, except in Xatu's prophecy: 'those trainers will have the skill to defeat the three psychic pokemon using pokemon of their own' it apparently has given us all the information it thinks we need."

"Mewtwo is too dangerous, even alone," Rachel says, remembering the destruction that was left after Mewtwo had settled into the Cerulian caves. "I've seen how he fights, and its not easy to get a hit on him."

Jason was so lost that he asked a question that was very innocent-like, "So where do we start?", his face turned red as he was scratching his head, trying to hide his embarrasement.

"Exactly, but Fate says you all will find a way to defeat all three of them," says Prof. Oak.

"Its not our decision where to start, Jason," said Oak. "You are the chosen ones, you must decide. But, may i suggest you all start battling and training together. You must work as a team."

Rachel glances down at the Pokeballs she holds, and nods. Yeah, I know your uneasy about this whole thing, but its not up to us, Rachel thinks. "Well, if you say so, I'm always up for a challenge."

Jason even more confused, became irritated and annoyed."But Professor, how is that going to get us any closer to solving this plot by just battling with eachother and training?"

"Ill battle you!" says Chase.

"And this is why I travel alone all the time," Rachel mutters.

"Once again, Jason, trust yourself and your instincts, I am not a 'chosen one'" says Oak. "Think, dark pokemon are your best bet, try using them. Dont forget to protect your psychics, mewtwo may try and take them or do something much more terrible. Until then,training is all you can do for now. The other professors are crently researching more on the legend, we only have two month's time, so we will update you on more information."

"Thanks professor," Rachel says.

Jason almost yelling at Professor Oak and was very irritated that even a small cross appeared on his head."But Professor! I don't have any Dark Type Pokemon!... Thats why I'm still confused as to why i'm chosen if i don't even have the type thats strong against Psychics!

Now, Prof. Oak was getting a little annoyed.

"You may not have any dark types, but look around. Some of the others do," he explains. "That is why you must be together in this situation. Try teaching some of your pokemon dark, ghost, or even bug-type moves, and you will be better off. Its not what pokemon you have, its how you use them. "

Jason raging in anger, when he didn't really mean to he was just really worried and confused, yelled back at the Professor, suggesting a good time for people around him to hold him back before he threw the computer on the ground."AND WHAT ABOUT MY STARMIE, PROFESSOR!!!"

The professor controlled his anger and remained calm.

"I know you are worried, all of you are," said Prof. Oak sadly. "Your psychic pokemon have a good chance of resisting joining leagues with mew, lugia, and mewtwo, because they have been touched by their trainers and have formed a bond with them. Just train it up so it can hone its skills it needs to resist mew, mewtwo, and lugia. I believe one of you has an Alakazam. They are masters at clearing their minds try meditation with starmie and i guarantee you starmie will get stronger."

Starmie suddenly shot a water gun at Jason's face, Jason realized his rage and understood why Starmie did what she did. He calmed down and was all wet,"Thanks Starmie", he said to his Pokemon.

"I'm sorry Professor for going off on you like that...I'm just really worried and confused...thanks for the advice."

"Well, we have some useful information from the Professors," said Chase. "I think we should start forming a plan on what we should do first."

"Specialty training, i guess." said Chase. "Battling, meditating, all kinda stuff. What do you thnk about it?"

"I think that its a good plan for now."

"Okay, I need to train Howler, he hasnt had a battle in a while," said Chase. "How about it Jason? Wanna battle?"

Jason thought for a minute, not hearing Chase's last statement."You know what Chase, I wonder if Sabrina, the Gym Leader in Saffron City, is related to any of this.... her specialty is Psychic Pokemon. I remember going against her for my Marsh Badge. She was really tough..."

"Maybe she is, maybe she isnt," says Chase. "I have met her before, and she isnt an evil girl, just a lonely one."

"Yeah but maybe she might know something about all this. maybe we should go travel to Saffron and talk to her. We're pretty far from Kanto... so it'll be a long journey, but thats a good thing cause then we can get to know all the other trainers along the way... and have battles along the way... and even catch new Pokemon... It'll be good for us and our Pokemon. I'm sure they'll gain alot of experience along the way."

"Yeah, thats a good starting plan," Chase answered. "Maybe Sabrina can even help us out in training! We have two months till the war will start, thats enough time to get all the help we need as well getting to know each other and stuff. Besides, my Flygon, Ace, and my Manectric, Shox, need more experience battling psychic pokemon, they each havent really battled many of them....my Scizor, Slasher, has good defensive capabilities against psychic pokemon because of he's part steel, but he need to work speedwise and on offense. This sounds like a good plan, so lets discuss it with the others."

"Yes!... It'll be the start of a great adventure," Jason said with excitement.

"Well right now we're on Hoenn. We need to get to Lilycove City, from there a ship will take us to Cianwood City in Johto. After that boat ride we'll have to take another boat, but it won't be as long of a voyage. It will leave Cianwood City and arrive at Olivine City, anothre City in Johto. Then we'll have to travel through the Johto region all the way to New Bark Town. Then from New Bark we'll walk to Pallet and then from Pallet we'll go through Viridian, Pewter, my hometown Cerulean!, and then finally hitting Saffron. I know that we could also take a train from Goldenrod City in Johto but tha would shorten our journey and we'll miss alot in the Johto Region. And Lilycove is on the other side of Hoenn from where we're at now, Oldale Town so we'll still see alot of Hoenn. That way we'll see alot of the three regions."

Jason realized that he had said alot and hoped that he didn't confuse anyone. "Here I bought some maps coming here from Cerulean. As you can see Lilycove is very close to Cianwood in Johto. From Lilycove, the boat will take us to Cianwood."

(I know the maps are small and hard to read, but hopefully you guys know about the regions from the games. You don't need to know alot about them, just enough to know where we're going. These maps were originally in Japanese, but I translated them. =])

OOC: Once again, I couldn't get one until night-time.

IC: Hanae looked over the maps that Jason was holding. "Uhm... going to Lilycove will take a long time, why can't we just go to Slateport? I'm sure it'll take us to Cianwood." The group looked at her for a while. She blushed and said, "Well, it's better than walking through Hoenn... but I guess it would be a good chance to train..." She realized that she had talked herself out of her own idea. She quickly replied by apologizing to the group for her thoughts.

She hid it from the group but she was really excited about going back to Saffron City and seeing Sabrina again. She remembered the gym battles that she saw and the psychic Pokemon that was always around her. She looked at her Pokemon and then back at the trainers that stood around her. She started to blush and hoped that everyone was going to have a good time on the trip.

"Well lets see what the other trainers have to say?... I mean it is a good idea if everyone wants to get to Johto fast, but maybe some people would like to see more of the Hoenn region. I've never been in this region before and I'd like to see more of it, but it doesn't really matter to me. I could alway come back here later."

He was also excited to show everyone his hometown, Cerulean City and the gym that he works at with Misty. But he was excited that they would be traveling alot! He was really excited about this because he didn't get to travel alot, except in the Kanto region when he was earning badges. But he had never really seen the Johto and Hoenn regions. He imagined he'd see alot of new types of Pokemon and new places.

Chase looked at the maps Jason showed to them. He never been to the Kanto Region before, but he always wanted to got here to find more pokemon. He has been to Johto, however, already havin about half the gym badges from that region. He surveyed the maps closely and looked at the routes they would have to take. He didnt look at the Hoenn Region map, he knew that one like the back of his hand. Instead, he looked at the Johto and Kanto Maps. He looked at the different cities and towns and things, and soon became very excited about the trip.

"This is a great plan, Jason!" he said eagerly. "Im all for going on another adventure! Hoenn is my region, i can show you guys around there! I know a little of Johto, but none of Kanto, so you guys will have to show me. Im ready to go right now!" He looked at the other trainers. "Well?" he said. "Are you guys ready?"

Jason looked around at the other trainers? "So I think it is agreed!.... Lets get going to Lilycove City, and i think that's Erin's hometown! She might know the best way to get there and show us around. Or even Chase could take us, he grew up in this region too. I think we all are comfortable with Johto as well. And as for Kanto, I know that region by memorization I'll show you guys around." So I'm ready whenever you guys are ready."

He let out his Vaporeon. "You can walk along with us Vaporeon." "Poreon!", she said in a happy tone.

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Then its settled," said Chase. "We are all going to Saffron City!" He let out SHadow, who ususally walks outside with him on these long journeys. "Ready for another journey, SHadow?" Chase asked eagerly. "Bre!" replied Shadow happily, glowing his rings. "We will have to wait for the other, though Jason," he added. "We might as well have a little practice battle while we wait, so do you wanna battle?" he asked.

Vaporeon heard what Chase said and sweatdropped. She did not want to battle Umbreon again after what happened at the last battle. She hid behind Jason's legs.

Jason laughed and said, "Don't worry Vaporeon I wasn't going to choose you again, I think you had enough from the last battle," she was relieved.

"Ok I accept, One on one?," Jason asked.

Chase looked at Vaporeon hide behind Jason's legs. He couldnt help but feel bad for it, but he couldnt help feeling proud of Shadow for showing Vaporeon what a great battler he is. He looked at Shadow.

"Sorry, Shadow, you're gonna have to sit outta this one. You're an Elite battler, but i have to train some of you're friends, too," he said and he patted Shadow on the head.

"Now, the rules are: One-on-One, first pokemon to be KO-ed or is unable to battle, wins," he said. "Ready, Jason? Good. Go, Slasher!"

He sent Scizor out of its pokeball, where it held its claws in its battle position.

Jason pulled out a special Pokeball. It was an Ultra Ball. He kissed it before he trew it out. "Alright, Ready!?" After a brilliant white flash. A huge shellfish came out and it was a Cloyster. But instead of purple outer shell, it was a dark Blue because it was a Shiny Pokemon. "Cloyster you're up!"

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Being shiny doesnt guarantee a loss, Slasher!" yelled Chase. "Stay on your guard!

"Zor!" said Scizor. It raised its claws, ready for a battle.

"Now, go! Use double team!" he said.

Scizor began to create illusion copies of himself at blinding speed, all racing around the field, making it harder to spot.

"Cloyster dont woryr about his double team attack.... use your own evasiveness and use minimize." Cloyster did as was told and improved his evasiveness maiking it harder for scizor to locate Cloyster.

"Now Cloyster fill this place up with a Blizzard!" Cloyster used its Blizzard attack making the air really chilly. "Blizzard is supposed to make the enemy really cold and paralyze it possibly even making it freeze along with infliting damage on the opponent." Jason thought to himself.

[Tha Pkmn Prodigy]

"Haha, i figured he would do that, they always do," Chase thought to himself. "Slasher knows how to get outta this one"

"Slasher, use iron defense!!" yelled CHase.

Scizor heard Chase, and began to use iron defense while still using double team. Scizor became steel-hard, and whith the help of it and its copies using iron defense and double team, created an effective moving wall, bouncing around while blocking blizzard attack, therefore creating a big wall of ice between them.

"Break down that wall Cloyster, Aurora Beam!" Cloyster used Aurora Beam attack and a strong stream of Northern Lights coming from Cloyster's horn broke down the ice wall. "Cloyster, use another Aurora Beam and aim it at Scizor!" Another strong stream of light was heading directly towards Scizor.

"Sciz!!" cried Slasher, and glowed a bright silver color and became steel hard again. It took the aurora beam head-on, only taking minor damage. Slasher was still standing strong, and held up its claws in defiance to clyster.

(Oh yeah, it seems like a good plan, I've beaten most of the games, and know the locations by heart, plus my RPG self can help at Kanto. Did I ever mention that my carachter here is basicaly me? Wait, am I still talking? I am such a spazz.)

"Cloyster knock him out with Rapid spin!" Cloyster retreated into his shell and started spinning really fast."NOW CLOYSTER!" Once it gained enough speed it launched its rapid Spin attack on Scizor spinning at really high speeds.

Rachel sits off to the side away from the battle, she seems to be meditating. The last time Mewtwo appeared was at Cerise island, during the Elite 4 Crisis, but no one has seen him since then, she thinks, and begins to concentrate. Perhaps if I can concentrate enough, I can find something out about where he is, it worked before.

(Yeah, Viridian City, I've been reading the Pokemon Adventures Manga too much.)

"Scizor, quick, dodge using Agility!!" said Chase. "And follow up with shock wave!!"

Scizor dodged with superior speed and flew into the air. Then it beated its wings furiously, faster and faster until it created a vave of electricity and then sent it at cloyster.

"Me and Slasher have been training using that move, Jason!" said Chase. "He has finally mastered it!"

Jason Laughs don't get too confident."Cloyster, withdraw! and keep using your rapid spin around the battle area!" Cloyster withdrew into its shell while Scizor used its shockwave. The electricity bounced off of Cloyster's Strong shell not harming it all. Cloyster was still using Rapid spin and aiming at Scizor while in its protective Shell.

Jason smirked."Hah! elctricity attacks won't stop my Cloyster. we've trained alot against attacks like those. And Cloyster's shell won't let anything get passed it."

"Hmmm....he's right!" thought Chase. "I need to come up with some way of SLasher's electricity attacks to hit cloyster even in its shell.....Wait i know!!"

"Slasher, lets try a different approach, dive underwater!!" said Chase. "I hope this works..."

"Sciz?" it said. "Scizor!!"

Slasher looked puzzled, but did as he was told. He absorbed some air and dived. The water wasnt a problem for Slasher, they both found out, because its streamlined body was perfect for swimming and its wing propelled him through the water.

Jason was puzzled at what Chase was planning but kept a confident face."Cloyster Freeze the water with your Ice Beam Attack!" Cloyster then let his shell open a little to aim. Cloyster then launched a powerful Ice Beam and it froze the water leving the water as hard as a glacier. "Cloyster withdraw back into your shell and use Minimize again and improve your evasivness!" Cloyster did as told.

"Now Cloyster, another Blizzard attack make the air freezing in here!" Cloyster made a powerful Blizzard. Makeing it extremely cold with snow flying eveywhere. Waiting if Scizor woul appear and hopefully was frozen underneath the frozen water.

The ice was frozen solid, while Slasher was still under the water. Slasher was frozen in a block of ice. Chase knew what to do.

"I know you can hear me, Slasher!" he yelled. "If you can, use Hyper Beam and break through the ice!!"

Chase looked through the now frozen water. He could see Slasher's red body not moving. There was an eerie silence, and then, there was an orange glow underneath the ice, and the field started to shake. Then Slasher's hyper Beam Broke through the ice, and the water was no longer frozen.

"Great job, Slasher!!!" yelled CHase happily. "Now stay under water!!"

"Cloyster make Scizor tired and freeze the water with another Ice Beam!" Cloyster did as told and froze the water again with Scizor underneath. Waiting for another resonse... as Cloyster withdrew back into its shell again.

"That wont work!" said Chase knowledgeably. "Slasher's air bubble cant be collapsed when the water is frozen, therefore it makes a shiled around it! Slasher, dont use Hper Beam this time! Use your wins! I know Scizor use their wings for keeping their temperature up, too....so do that and melt the ice!"

Slasher did as he was told. He started to beat his wings furiously, until little by little, the generated heat melted the ice, and again, the water wasnt frozen.

"Whats your plan now, Jason?" said Chase. "That ice beam tactic wont work, we found a way against that. Slasher is good at distance battling, as you have seen." said Chase with a little smile.

Jason simply smirked...If you want Cloyster in the water... than you'll get it in the water.... Cloyster! Dive. Don't let your guard down! Use your Leer Attack and lower Scizor's defenses." Cloyster gave a horryfying glare and stared straight into Scizor's eyes.

Scizor's defenses went down a little, but it never lost focus.

"Okay, Slasher, now it's time!!" yelled Chase.

"Scizorrrr!!!!" he cried.

"Beat your wing at high speed, as fast you can, now!" said Chase.

"Sciz!" said Slasher.

It beat its wings furiously once more, and created a strong whirlpool in the water. The whirlpool sucked cloyster in, immobilizing it so it couldnt use withdraw again. Scizor kept it up, and now cloyster was completely immobilized.

"Okay, Slasher, time for one more Shock Wave!!!!" Chase said.

"SCIZOR!!!!" it cried as it started to beat its wings.

Slasher beat his wings together, angain generating a powerful shock wave, but this time they were under water. The shock wave intensified as Slasher sent it towards the whirlpool that immobilized cloyster, since it was immobilized, it couldnt use withdraw, and there was no escape. The shock wave hit, creating a whirpool-shock attack, surrounding cloyster with extreme volts of electricity. Slasher, being part steel-type, wasnt affected as much as cloyster, who was a water type.

"That was a super hit!!!" said Chase.

"A Whirlpool attack, ironic," Rachel says, remembering her early battle with Jason, where she had used a more powerful version of the attack. However, I doubt that Chase had trained his pokemon to utilize Whirlpool to its full potential.

Cloyster fell into the water weak. But Jason wasn't worried. "Cloyster, you know what to do." and suddenly Cloyster regained energy and was back to normal. "Cloyster, good job recovering!"

"Now Cloyster, Spike Cannon!" and array of pins were flying towards Scizor paralyzing it temporarily. "Cloyster confuse it and use Supersonic!" A continuous wave of loud screehes put Scizor in pain and in confusuion. "Now Cloyster use Clamp Attack!" Cloyster jumped up and Clamp onto Scizor's head crushing it with its strong shell.
