pc. why have you come?

Once upon a time...

I first joined a pokemon community back in November 2001, a little place whose name shall remain nameless unless someone really wants to know. I had read about the site in a pokemon magazine, and when I went I saw they had forums and began to go there. It wasa nice place, sort of an internet haven where I quickly gained lots of friends. But of course things couldn't stay that way, as many things changed over time. Over a year ago I began noticing changes in some of the people there...they were becoming cold and hateful...last summer a topic went horribly wrong and some battle lines were drawn on a few subjects...I was with the smaller group of people, against the larger group of the hate-filled people, lead by a very corrupt but popular admin who sought to exterminate the people who thought differently than he from the forums...he was sarcastic, cynical, and hated me for who I was, and so I joined a resistance movement against the forums, which was constantly attacked by people working for the admin. We survived and are still around today, but anyone who stuck with the rebels lost all respect they had at the forums, and they were expelled from the inner circle. I went from being popular to being hated, all because the admin had turned everyone against me. Ever since summer, I didn't go to those forums regularly, and in December I lost it and quit them for good...since them I've been looking for new pokemon forums that weren't filled with eliteist hate-filled people, and this is the first one I've come across that has been able to suit me, the only one I've felt included at. So this is how I came here...I'm an outcast.

Ah long time ago, last April to be exact, I was home, sick. I was looking up info on Ru/Sa, and I encountered TPM. I joined there, but I felt so out of place, so excluded. I surfed some more, until I foud this place. I joined, but no one really noticed me, so I was pretty much an outcast. I visited a little, but when I saw last september it had restarted, I knew it was my chance to be noticed, so I joined, and here I am

I came here when PE2K joined PC... when PE2K left PC, I decided to stay and betray PE2K since PC is better. ^_^

I'd suppose...I daresay this is the most welcoming pokemon community left on the internet. Others, for one reason or another, have either died out or become quite unfriendly to newcomers. It's a shame really, but it makes this place look all the better ^_^

Hmm, well it was back in the days, when i was a member of SNF under my old unsername of "GymLeaderMisty" I was browsing around the Forums and noticed a few posts by a certain member of PC, i won't say what they were about or who they were from but lets just say PC was mentioned in them and that's what caused me to take a look at these Forums. And eventually, i decided to join! ^_^
But basically i joined because this place seemed so much more interesting and friendlier than other Pokemon Forums and look i was right!

My story: I had been one of the top members at Serebii's board in 2002 before until it closed. I had joined during spring 2002 so I was probably like their 22sa. :P I can't remember how many posts I had there, but I remember that I had made it to the top 10 posters, or at least close to it. I was always on there. I then joined a smaller board that I found in February 2003. I was there all the time. There were like 200 members. I reached 1,045 posts and was the 13th top poster. I had made it up to 11th. I still go there but not that often anymore. Then I was looking through AOL search again to see if there was another board that I could join. I found a link I liked and clicked it. It was PokeCommunity. I looked around and thought it was a cool board. I then saw two members that were from the 2nd board I joined; Iveechan and StellarWind. I then joined. It was May 1st, 2003. I have been here ever since, and I will never leave. It's my favorite board. :P

My story as to why I joined this place may sound a little out of place, but oh well XD.

It was because I noticed PC was using vb 3.0, lol. I said to myself, "Wow, so this is wha it looks like." XD After taking a quick look through the place a bunch of topics caught my eye so I immediately signed up, and as you can see the rest is history, lol.

Meh, I really don't know what I'm considered here, but I think I'm that cool, funny, weird, creative, outcast dude that enters the forum when everyone isn't there. PC seems inactive whenever I'm here, bleh I hate timezones >.<

I've known pokecommunity for ages. I first found out about it from serebii.net forums. I have always used forums for reference untile I decided to join, back in december 2003. At first I was going to join serebii.net, but this place seemed much more friendly and more welcoming, so I joined here instead.

Compared to many other forums I've seen, pokecommunity is mainly the best yet. Anyway, I joined here because I like pokemon and it is generally one of the best forums I've seen. :)

Well, I guess you could say it was thanks to Arcanine that I became a member of PC. One day I was surfing around SPPf, looking for interesting topics to post in to share my thoughts, and then I came to this one thread where Arcanine posted mentioning PC, I ask myself "what's PC?" but then I saw that he has a image link to the pokecommunity. I first checked it out in september when I was still very new and unknown on the forum world, and when PC was still the old PC (I think), but then I returned in november and decided to join. And here I am today. :)

I generally get that I look younger then I am. And I just cut my hair(big mistake), I look like I'm 12 not 22...which is ok normally, except when your at a bar and get carded every 30 minues. :(

It seems as if a lot of people jojned here because of the look of the forum, and I was one of them. I guess the gool looks of the layouts is what attracted me to this forum, and then the friendliness of the members kept me here. =D I haven't abandoned any of the forums that I go to for here, I still go to any other forum as much as I go here.
