Milotic@Leftovers
Bold Nature
Hypnosis
Surf
Recover
Ice Beam

Kingdra@Lum Berry
Modest Nature
Substitute
Surf/Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
Toxic

lol, you honestly think Kingdra can learn Earthquake? And Dragon Claw when it has no claws at all?

Ludicolo@Leftovers
Modest Nature
Leech Seed
Surf
Ice Beam
Subsitute

Make sure it has the Swift Swim trait. Rain Dish isn't worth it.

Kyogre@Chesto Berry
Modest Nature
Surf
Thunder
Rest/Calm Mind
Ice Beam

Don't use OHKO moves please. They show that you are a noob and an unskilled trainer. Besides, what good is a Kyogre without Water moves? Anyways, start your team with Kyogre seeing as how much of your team depends on the rain.

Swampert@Leftovers
Brave Nature
Surf/Ice Beam
Curse
Earthquake
Rest

You have plenty of choices for a 6th Pokemon. Vaporeon can heal your team with Wish, Starmie is fast and versatile, Gyarados is a heavy hitter, and Kabutops and Omastar both benefit from Drizzle.

Thanks! I'm not a skilled trainer. I just think it's best to wipe the opponent out quickly. I know 1 hit K.O. moves have no skill. Vaporeon would be my selection.

Vaporeon@None
? Nature
Wish
Surf
Ice Beam - ? (if you're a bit familiar with these (?) it means I don't know if it can learn it)

^ is that better?

Gyarados fits in great as an all out sweeper

Gyarados@Leftovers**<3
Adamant Nature
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Thunder Wave/Taunt
Return

Thunder Wave=ingame, Taunt=Netbattle

Lord Mike

HP Flying over Return. HP Flying has 105 BP because of the STAB. Return isn't good against anything anyway and Gengar will cause problems without something to hit it.

LUGIABIRD keep the chesto and rest. if it works for YOU keep it. they are ******** about it because you instantly heal then get to attack the next round. there are no rules as to what items you give your pokemon.

but in my opinion..... Leftovers are better, they heal you overtime throughout the untire battle.

Then you shouldn’t automatically assume the team is for Netbattle, since more people play in-game than NB.

aragornbird, that is true, however, people even when people are playing in-game they still call people noobs by the type of attacks/items they give their pokemon in-game.

i here it all the time.

Um, it’s called the Edit button. Please don’t double post next time.

and a Walrein would be good balance for your team. you select the moves for it, only through trial and error are you going to learn what works for YOU and what does not.

and also a WAILORD would do wonders in a water such as the one you got. again..... same as above.

What the-?!? Wailord SUCKS. It’s one of the worst Water-types out there. And Walrein is only mediocre and is outclassed by the many other choices available.

Don't double post... edit the first one. And why would he post his team if he wanted to

if it works for YOU keep it.

Then he wouldnt come here for help... In-game is easy but you wanna win when u battle friends so you should use smarter sets...

i have a wailord at level 41 that has

HP 307
ATK 175
DEF 80
SP. ATK 180
SP. DEF 94
SPD 110

and a walrien i have has

HP 230
ATK 140
DEF 90
SP. ATK 150
SP. DEF 120
SPD 101
and it just evelved last night.

the stats influence greatly as to what type of attacks would suit it best.

yes that is true, but, the problem with "smarter sets" is that they may not work with his actual style. true, the move may work great with the pokemon and its other move sets but, what about his style of playing? does he like to run around with Hyper beam, try to kill every pokemon he can with the first hit? or does he like to take his time and use pokemon as walls to widdle down his opponent?

a problem with threads like these is that the individual does not disclose how he actually likes to battle. which means nothing we say may even help him at all.

No one cares about your Pokemon’s stats. We all have an idea of how good or bad Pokemon are by looking at their base stats.

And what did I just say about double-posting? Any more of that, and you’re getting a warning.

Yes, that’s what double-posting means. It is looked down upon in just about every forum.

Walrein is cool in some ways. It gets a STAB from both Ice Beam and Surf. It has lots of HP. Its Defenses aren't half bad. It learns Encore, so if your friend tries to use Calm Mind or something like that it will keep using Calm Mind and in that time Walrein can Rest and also hit hard with two STAB moves.

Wailord on the other hand stinks. The only good thing is its increibly high HP, which still doesn't make up for its horrible Defenses. Jolteon could probably OHKO Wailord even at 520 HP or something like that.

why just a pure water team? I think a mixed team would be better ><;;
