I took that same test a long time ago, and it told me my IQ was 146 to 157 or so...seriously

The best I've gotten on it is 138 before...there are about 5 questions on there I don't know the answer to so I fill them in at random.

I took that IQ test and well i think it was trying to tell me something when i got my results.....that's partly why i'm not taking it seriously. Everyone bar one person that's posted in this thread got a higher result on that test than me and i'm older than half of those people, so now that's brought me to the conclusion that the IQ test was screwed up, i really am suffering more from my lack of sleep or that i'm completely stupid. Hence why i'm not posting my results. Just thought i'd share that.

I never took that test , but i know my IQ one of the scales is 142. There are different scales to messure IQ and what may be a good score on one is a rubbish score on another. Anyway i know i must have a high IQ , im a member of mensa ^_^

The test was too short to mean anything at all. Don't let it make you feel bad Sheridan. A person with as much creativity as you is bound to be really intelligent. You show it really well!

In my opinion, IQ tests were invented to give people low self esteem -.-

Judging someone's intelligence on a set of questions is actually pretty useless...this is so corny to say but Einstein failed math in school *is killed for corniness* People have strengths and weaknesses, and these sort of tests don't let people put their strengths to use...it's a random mix of stuff that can either make you or break you depending on what it is exactly. IQ tests are flawed beyond being effective in gaging intelligence in any way, and all they do is give arrogant people something else to brag about if they get an incredibly high score... (not to say any of you are arrogant, of course you aren't...I'm talking about people I know who are in-your-face about everything when it comes to grades and intelligence...)

Hehe ^^;; It just sort of made me angry that a mere IQ test could make someone feel bad about themselves...I just hate how useless IQ tests are...I've taken enough of them on the net differnet places to know how innaccurate they can be...I don't like how the people who make them pass them off as foolproof, either, when they should know enough to know that a random set of questions does nothing for judging a person's intellect...

These web things tend to be rather inaccurate, I did one once and I got 185. While I know my IQ is high (I skipped three years in school, still top the class and am doing even higher level maths) I seriously doubt it's that high XD. Maybe my penguin would do better.
