Have you heard of any really stupid (but real) laws? Here you can post them and talk about them.

A law in Wilbur, Washington: 'You may not ride an ugly horse.' XD

Blythe, California: 'You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows.'

New York, New York: 'You may only water your lawn if the hose is held in your hand.'

I read a book of stupid laws. I think one was saying that you cannot molest an alligator in florida.

Here are some:
In Alabama-Dominoes may not be played on Sunday,
and in Anniston:You may not wear blue jeans down Noble Street.

In Texas:
-The entire Encyclopedia Britannica is banned in Texas because it contains a formula for making beer at home.
-It is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing.
-In Galveston:Any person who sits on a sidewalk may be fined up to $500.
Dumbest one:-In Lubbock county(still Texas):It is illegal to drive within an arm's length of alcohol in someone else's blood stream. :tired:

Uhhhh.... you will be charged if you dont kill it. But you cant just break its leg you have to find it first. But I dont think they have that law anymore.

o yea i found a bird once! we released it in the park after we nursed it for a week and thought it was ok...but *sniff* the next day we came to check it at the park..*sniff* we saw feathers around the area we helped it and some blood stains R.I.P birdy...

Even if they did have that law still, I wouldnt follow it. I always nurse animals back to health, no matter what it takes. I saved a squrril. A male through her out of a really high bird house. But before he did that he held strangled her. Poor thing....it lived though.

Well here's a stupid law in the province of Quebec, all business signs have to be in French or if it is another language such as English it has to be double the size than the foreign language. A stupid law in Montreal is that you can't park your car in front of your OWN driveway...that's got to be the stupidest thing ever. Another stupid law is that just recently Quebec lifted its ban on right turns on red lights with the exception of Montreal because it had too many cars. What kind of bs is this? Toronto has more and they can turn right on red lights.

That was back in the old days. I don't think it was actually a law but it was considered as crossdressing just like if a man wears a skirt.

Here Where i live Old men can marry young ladies (14 or older) I sent a letter to the white house just the other day...i doubt it'll be answered...oh well

homosexuality or infancy.
And if you have bright hair, like red or blonde or brunette, there is something wrong with you and black hair is officially the politically correct hair colour. :\ Uh-huh...
They're just laws made up by kids though, so I don't know any real silly laws.

In Hartford it's against the law to walk across the street on your hands while drunk...

I didn't say there was a punishment for disobeying these laws, and, apparently, you can't. Like I'm not a little baby or gay but kids still call me that! I also noticed that even if you're not a part of the law, you will still get called the insult. Like this guy once called me a n****r even though I'm not even black and it's offensive to people with black skin anyway! He also complained that I was being offensive to Maori! I think someone needs to write the logical sense behind these 'laws'
