THIS RP IS RATED TEEN

Well, with my luck, I came back here as soon as all the rp’s spots were taken. Now I’m going to make my own ^^

The Land of the Mightyena*

The land of the Mightyena is a land that stretches far, for miles on end. The land has never once been invaded by humans or other Pokemon of the larger species; It’s only inhabitants are Mightyena, and smaller Pokemon species, in which the Mightyena use for prey.

The land is divided into four pieces, each containing the territory of one of the four packs; River pack, Mountain pack, Forest pack, and Field pack. Each pack is separated from the others by boundary markings. The boundaries have been there for over centuries; forbidding each pack to mingle with another. If, by any chance, one pack member does wander off into another one’s pack, they will most likely be immediately killed by a member of that territory they “invaded.”

However, there is one thing that ties all the four packs together; the Crystal Pool.

The Crystal Pool is a larger than normal pond, located in the middle of the land, not belonging to any of the four pack’s territories. This pond, however, is different from most ponds, not meaning just it’s size. The Crystal Pool, surrounded by a forest of great oaks and other large trees, can tell the future or tell prophecies of what will happen to the four packs, whether it be a storm, a territory invasion, or something much larger.

What’s stranger is the prophecies and futures of the packs are foretold by their ancestors, who have already passed away long ago, whether it be a grandfather, or a dad. Any member of any pack can go to the Crystal Pool at any time, whether they feel alone or need someone to talk to, or have a problem with something. All they have to do is lean over the Crystal clear water, and it will immediately start glowing a soft pink color, and the spirit of an ancestor from that pack will appear on the water.

Some of the luckier ones, don’t even have to go to Crystal Pool; they receive prophecies in their dreams, from their ancestors. That is what will happen to us…

Ok, so we rp as Mightyena from either of the four packs. When we start your first post has to be about the dream you receive (the prophecy will be in my first post, so you must use the same one, but receive it in a different way in a dream).

I will post my sign-up a bit later.

((Got this idea from the Warrior series? Mrf, I love those books, but the newer ones are...eh. Personally, I prefer the old ones.

But my main question is, how do you want their names to be? I'll edit it if you want them some other way.))

Name: Hawkstar

Gender: Male

Age: 4

Pack: River Pack

Position: Leader

Description: A large powerful male Mightyena with long legs and a muscular chest. His muzzle is battle scarred, and his paws are webbed in between the pads to help him swim better. They are also quite large, enabling him not to sink as much in the Marsh. His pelt is also thick, and his front right paw is ivory. His eyes are the strangest part, for Abisso possesses multicoloured eyes. His right eye is a deep cobalt, while his other eye is emerald. Though it may not be entirely obvious, his right eye is entirely blind, a birth defect that formed due to some disease in the eye. If one looks closely at it, they would see that it appears somewhat foggy.

Personality: He may come across as a gruff individual because of his battle scarred appearance, but he can be quite kind at moments. Though he does possess a temper, he saves it up until he needs it to defend what is most important to him, his pack. He's loyalty is undying, and it also gives him the strength to keep going even in the toughest of times. As a cub he used to be reckless, but after and incident that involved starting a small fight with another Clan and almost loosing his life, he has learned from it.

Rp sample: ((Ripped off another RP, but still a sample nonetheless. From War Over Hoenn: Beginnings, my opening post.))
The Vulpix in her arms began to squirm as they entered the area of the Safari Zone. Satomi looks down at her curiously, tightening her grip upon the fox Pokemon. She had read somewhere that Pokemon could sense things that were about to happen, but normally that was with Psychic Pokemon, not Fire bred species. Besides, nothing bad was to happen, it was just her weekly visit to the Zone. Looking down at the small creature in her arms, she figured that Pixie was just excited, especially with all these trainers around. It hadn't been this crowded for awhile...or at least as long as Satomi was here...which in retrospect was not quite long at all.

Many looked curiously at the Vulpix, pondering over the strange markings on the tail. All six of them were tipped in a deep charcoal black before regaining their usual red-hued brown colour. Whenever someone asked about the strange colour of the tails, the girl would reply that she had dyed them that colour. The truth was, Satomi was quite the rebelious teenager. Her eyes were heavy with black eyeliner, and she looked suited to be at some sort of rock concert, even though she was cladded in a normal black tank and plain blue jeans that were loose and held up with a large, simple black belt.

'And why did you dye them?' Many would continue, looking curiously at the girl. It was then that Satomi would smile, fingering her scarlet hair that was streaked with black.

'I had the time.'

Noticing that yet another trainer was about to ponder over the mysterious tails that Pixie possessed, the redhead scurried away in a nonchalant manner, and was shortly stopped by a guard. The look on his face read that he obviously did not want to do this job. Who would blame him from the looks of this crowded place?

"Pokeball." He says gruffly, poking at the belt roughly. He was intelligent enough to know that this was a belt used to hold Pokeballs from the small clasps on it, and yet he saw naught of the contraption.

"Uh...?" Satomi said, blinking her brilliant cobalt eyes in somewhat of an innocent manner. She truly had no idea what he meant.

His sigh was coarse, and her rubbed his five o'clock shadow. "If you're paticipating in the hunt, then you have to put your Vulpix in a Pokeball."

Satomi cursed mildly at herself. How stupid could she get, she left Pixie's Pokeball at home...and it was too late to get it now. Her mother was out working at whatever the hell she does, and her father was out doing whatever the hell he did. She possessed no keys, and the house was undoubtfully...locked. Dammit.

"I forgot it at home," she snaps coldly, still pissed at how stupid she had gotten.

"Then I suppose you shall just watch." The guard said, looking at her roughly. She glares at him, her blue eyes filled with a ominous feel to them, but obliges, turning away towards the crowd. She finds herself standing next to a man with a small scratch on his nose. A girl had just recently said her goodbyes, and Satomi accidentally caught his name. Ned, if she heard correctly.

Pixie still seemed a bit nervous, and then again, she wasn't used to being by so many people. Satomi held the black-tipped Vulpix closer to her chest, feeling the slight tremble of the nervous creature vibrate throughout her body.

"Why are you so nervous, hm?" she cooed at it, rubbing Pixie between the ears. "It isn't like anything bad is going to happen..."

((If something in this sign-up is unacceptable, then please alert me and I shall change it to your specifications.))

Yeah.. I currently have all of the ones that are out now <3 (Jut waiting til' August for Twilight lol. True, the older ones are better, but I still love them all lol

Umm, about the names...I was hoping for names like those of the Warriors series, but many people probably don't read the book so they won't know ;__; My name is going to be based on the Warriors ranks though, since I find them...kewl 8D XD

Name: Snowfang

Gender: Female

Age: 2 1/2

Pack: Mountain Pack

Position: Deputy

Description: A Mightyena leaning towards the more leaner side of things. Her legs are long, and slender, and her paws are if smaller size. Light gray fur covers the lower part of her body, while darker fur covers the top. Her fangs are slightly bigger than an average female's fang, and tend to stick out a bit, though nobody seems to notice since they don't stick out much to begin with. Her ears are of average size, but are more slimmer than a Mightyena's usually are. Her tail is longer too, and a bit on the fluffy side. Most male Mightyena tend to get attracted to her looks, and most female jealous.

Personality: A Mightyena who has high determination and who seeks adventure almost 24/7. She enjoys going through the forest where lays the Crystal Pool, though lately she has been getting very bored. She wishes to experience something new everyday, but mostly it is the same thing. Thats why most of the time some will just see her as tired, lazy, etc. It'd not really that; she just hasn't the potential. While the males drool over her, in the end it is her who ignores them and pretends that it is no big deal. She is not interested in any of the warriors; the only one she does have a slight interest for is Boulderstar, the leader of the pack. To her, he is the only one worth competing for in a relationship, though she thinks it will be fairly easy, since she has been noticing the same signs from Boulderstar.

All the females tend to get jealous over her; jealous over her looks, and her luck in life. Snowfang doesn't tend to think much of it though, just as a part of her normal life. And though she may not be very close to anyone in her pack, being hated by females and not interested in the males, she still vows everyday that she will protect the pack whole until the moment she dies, without hesitation.

Rp sample:

"Lady Snooowfang!"

'Oh god, not again' Snowfang rolled her eyes as she walked swiftly into the cave in which her pack lived. Weaving through the warriors, she ignored all the calls of "love" from the males and shouts of anger from the females. 'God when is this pack ever going to grow up' She slowly started trotting through, getting to the back of the cave.

"Hey. Snowfang>" When she had finally reached the back she was greeted by the lean, muscular, shape of Boulderstar, the leader of the Mountain Pack.

Snowfang, now totally ignoring the shouts of the warriors, which were slowly dieing anyway, set down the rabbit at Boulderstar's paws, which she was carrying. She looked up. "Dinner"

"We can share. Bring it to our den." Boulder (which is what Snowfang likes to call him), bent down and nuzzled her ear for a brief second, before turning and going into a tunnel that was dugged through the back of the cave in front of then, which led to their den.

Sure, most may ask why Snowfang and Boulder share dens; usually it's the warrior's den which the deputy sleeps in; but Snowfang doesn't have the time or care to answer their questions. She thought they were pointless questions anywas; as almost any smart wolf could obviously see that Snowfang and Boulder were together.

Shaking off those troubled thoughts, Snowfang hastily picked up the rabbit again and trotted slowly through the tunnel, ducking as she went. Once she got out the the other side, where lay Boulder in what was their den, she placed the rabbit down in front of them and she too, sat down. They began to feast..

~~

After the meal Snowfang lay next to Boulder, their pelts brushing against one another's. "Good night my little Snow.."

Snowfang was already dozing, but what she didn't know, was that this was the last night for a long time, she will ever spend with Boulder again...

((Okay then, I changed his name (because I like the names too! ^.^). Not too original, I know...But I was planning to do that name if you did want it like the Warriors. I used to roleplay them often, but now I've sort of lost all the sites I used to belong to, mainly because they grew inactive...XD

I have a feeling a lot more people on this site have read them though...I tried to get my sister into them, but she was like "WTF, a book about talking cats?" so I sort of gave up on it...))

Aww, awesome! The Warrior series are top-notch! Just though I'd drop by to say good job in twisting this into Pokemon style, and most importantly--good luck X3!

Edit- Feebas, I decided to change Sona's pack, along with some of her profile. Hope that doesn't cause any inconvenience. X3

--

Name- Sonaraku [She hates the name. X3 Call her Sona]
Gender- Female
Age- Barely past a year and a half
Pack- Forest Pack
Position- Apprentice

Description-

Sona's fairly young and inexperienced, hence the lowly duty of 'Apprentice'. Despite this[and the fact that she was always made fun of because of her smaller size] the Mightyena still manages to look mean and intimidating[like all her pack], her shiny black pelt and all. Her composed hazy grey eyes stand in stark contrast with her unkept fur. The grey tuft of mess roughly cleaned and straightened out. Sona has nice, lean legs, all four equally 'well built'. She was from the Forest Pack after all, they were known for the fact that they could run ample distance, while jumping from branch to branch of a tree.
Her dull-looking paws are of average size, though her claws seem blunt, like a butter knife. Well, if she knew what a butter knife was anyway. Her tail is prone to having a mind of it's own, swinging whichever way it wants. Tending to stand out due to the fact that it's a great deal shorter than most Mightyena.

Last but certainly not least, her name means 'Fulfiller' in her pack's olden language. It speaks that one who posseses the name is destined to guide herself into finding and fufilling her dreams.

Personality-

This female Mightyena has a high-strong personality. Though, her unusual clumsiness manages to shy it away most of the time. Tripping over her on paws for no apparent reason whatsoever, bumping into others of her pack. Being laughed at every given time of the day, having to endure hearing the taunts, of her only amounting up to 'a bumbling child'. It was embarassing. Truely, embarassing.
But- She sees at this with another outlook. Better noticed than not!
For some strange reason which drives her on, she still manages to laugh along with the others! Apologising for her mistake, before trotting off, acting like it had never happened.

Turning away from this part of Sona, one can never neglect to notice the fact that she tends to... let herself go. Her messy fur, ruffled pelt. The Mightyena had never given these 'trivial' matters a second thought. Mostly growling, claiming that 'One should never waste life's finer points by licking themselves silly! I mean, the Sun isn't going to stop rising if you don't do it!'. She takes things too lightly most of the time, and rarely thinks about the details in situations. Rather, looking at the big picture on a whole basis.

She's an energetic youth, but, with being so young, also means that she's rather ignorant and naive of what the world really looks like beyond the dense undergrowth of the forest. Though, with her would-be care attitude, she never even gave this a second thought.

Other than this, Sona has a good temper, her mad outbursts few and far between. Granted, one should never take advantage of this trait.... Who knows when she'll snap.

Jena didn't have much to comment on. Zach and Amelia seemed to be talking to themselves, Maxie wasn't around, Kayley and Silver were acting rather quiet, she had to admit, this was a strange feeling. Not as strange as the one she had felt a while back, though. When she was at home, well, you weren't supposed to talk while meditating and, it would seem weird to talk to yourself when you were training alone. Pokemon didn't count, since you were only allowed to shout them attacks. Since she had met these great trainers, they were all talking, now, the lack of conversation didn't seem right to the girl.

She'd just have to make do with thinking to herself. Again, apparently.

If her mother was to ever see this, what she was doing right now, the explosion caused would have most likely destroyed the Earth. Her mother... Zhena was always prone to losing her cool, but never had she actually caused an uproar, albeit one time...

---

"GAHHH!!!"Zhena's shout of frustration was the first sound Jena heard as she entered her mother's office. She was a little shorter, and her hair covered both her eyes as she stood at a corner of the room. The girl had to be about eleven or twelve at that time, age didn't really matter.

"Eehh! People now these days!! She thinks she's all great and superior! Just because she's a gym leader! I'm just as good! Eh! Even better, much better!!"her mother clenched her fists together tightly, as she continued ranting to herself.

"Eh, thinks she's better just because she managed to become the Champion!! And she says that I'm the barbarian..."she marched around the room while her daughter stared at the floor, arms tucked behind her body.

"I'll show her! Ehh!! Definately!"the woman's voice was full of anger and determination, as she punched the air with one balled fist, her knuckles seemingly whitening due to the fact that she was clenching them a tad too hard.

"..... I-I'm sorry, mama. Eh, but, why'd you call me here..?"Jena managed to pluck up the courage to speak, lifting the hair covering her face with one hand, so that she was able to see her mother properly.

Zhena's face was as red as a Torkoal, as she closed her eyes, taking her pent up anger to the wall with a punch. Her daughter resented asking the question immediately, as she saw that there was a small dent in the wall where she had hit. Perhaps, it was made of a cheap something... yes, that was it!

"EH!! Isn't it obvious?! You're here so I can tell you! Next time you see that no good gym leader, give her a good beating!"she told her child, sighing as she received a confused blink for an answer.

"Eh, whatever. Can't remember what her name was. Bet she didn't even bother to tell me, that show-off. All I know, is that she's a leader with a son, both of them think they're the best! With their 'perfect' blonde hair.... and 'captivating' blue eyes, not to mention their proud, arrogant, I-know-I'm-better-than-you act."the mother waved her hands around, explaining to her duaghter.

"Eh.... Don't we have blue eyes?"

"Eehh! That ain't the point! Either change the color of your eyes, or make sure they're better than her son's!! As long as you keep this in that empty head of yours! If you ever meet anyone like that, make sure you beat them till' they say they're sorry for insulting the Minanes! Understand?!"she jabbed the girl's forehead with one forceful finger.

"Eh, Y-Yes!! Yes, Mama!!"Jena rubbed her forehead, nodding to her mother. She was used to this happening, though, this time, instead of it being her, another family was the one in the wrong. Knowing Zhena, she had to be exaggerating again. But, the girl knew much, much, better than to question this. Especially when she looked like she had been pushed to her limit.

"Great,"the woman said, crossing her arms as she grinned,"Now, get your lazy self back to training!!!"

--

The only one who fit the description was Rai. He was blonde, and he did have blue eyes. But, he wasn't proud or arrogant. At least, to Jena. One had to possess the three qualities before she could actually start 'avenging' her family's name. Since the boy lacked the last one, she had to look past this, shouldn't she? Of course. It wasn't like she had to be so unlucky, or that fate had deemed it, that she was to meet that gym leader lady or her son.

[I]"Not like he's the son, Mama must've drank a bit too much herbal tea that day..."

OOC: This is the first rpg I have ever been invited too. I feel special, lol.

IC:

Name: Almor
Gender: Male
Age: 246 (1,000 Human Years)
Pack: Field Pack
Position: Leader
Description: A very old Mightyena with a full mane and longer fur. The mane, especially near the head has beads in them as decoration. Along with the beads, he also wears feathers of various birds. They run down his mane and hang off his fur. Along his neck we wears various necklesses made up of bone that form a sort of vest. On his legs he wears braclets that is made up of bone also. However they have curvings on them of the creatures native to the Grasslands.

His face and body are covered in various scares of countless battles Almor has gone through in his younger years. His left eye is completely scared. The entire eye is white, missing a pupil, while a large scar in the shape of a half moon is formed from hiis forehead to his cheeck.

Aside from these traits. Almor still looks healthy and fit which to this day still attracts many of his female pack members.

Personality: Almor is highly intelligent and is very down to earth. He admires the world he lives in and respects all aspects of life and creatures as a whole. Before and after a hunt he prays for the soul of the victim to find peace in its own afterlife and to thank it for giving him and his tribe, pack, another meal. Because of this he is very spirtual and superstitious. He belives in bad omens and good fortune and on certain days and times he would hold a ceremony of various dancers of the tribe perform dances around a fire while howling and music of the Mightyenas stomping their paws or playing instruments that they have created.

It is from this behavior that the Field Pack has become more of a tribe of one and has never changed for many years. It is also from this that some think Almor is crazy or lost his edge giving him some questionable tribe or pack members.

Back in his day, Almor was a very powerful and skilled warrior that won every single battle he has ever been in. It is because of this that Almor has become legendary and has been known as Almor the Invicible, or Almor the Wise. His legend still holds because even after so many years, he is still alive which upholds the legend of him being wise and invicible. Even in his now older years he is still able to hold his ground and is a force to be reckoned with. From this, the entire pack has great respect for him, even the questionable ones. However, though he was very aggressive when he was younger, over the years he has become very passive and always tries to find a peaceful solution to solve problems instead of fighting.

OOC: This is from the RPG that I created known as Pokemon.

IC:

Tommy is right over a hill near the two trainers battling. He seems to be holding a Town Map and a confused look.

"Okay.. where am I? That right turn at Mahogany should of brought me to Golden Rod.. shouldn't it?" He asked himself confused as he stared at his map trying to figure out if he is going the right way.

Then it hit him. He turned his map the other way. He was holding it upside down this entire time.

"Oh... great!" He said to himself as he slapped his hand to his head.

"I'm lost!" He told himself followed by a desperate look for help.

He sighed and slowly began to walk around once more until he heard some sort of commotion. He raced across the hill he was on and looked down from the small hill and saw two trainers having a battle. The battle seemed to be of a Sneasel and a Blaziken. Tommy has seen a Sneasel before but he has never seen a Blaziken and without a Pokedex, he has no idea what it even is.

"Look at that." He spoked to himself.

He watched the battle and saw the new Pokemon do a Fire Attack as the Sneasel created a shield of ice around it.

"Whoa, I haven't seen anything like that before." He said getting excited by the intense battle.

Just then an idea came to him.

"Hmm.. maybe these Trainers know where I am. Maybe when they are done I could ask." He thought to himself.

He looked around and slowly went down the hill while looking at the battle. He was far enough to not be hurt or interfere with the battle.

Alter Ego
June 29th, 2006, 08:56 AM
Name: Skye
Gender: Female
Age: 1 1/4
Pack: Mountain Pack
Position: Apprentice

Description: Very youthful and innocent-looking as Mightyenas go, despite being nearly full-grown physically, Skye still can't seem to come off as anything but an unusually large Poochyena with her strangely fluffy-looking - and nearly white - fur and large, innocent eyes, the effect being further enhanced by the fact that they're sky blue, unlike the conventional red. She has her fangs like any other Mightyena, of course, but even their intimidating effect seems strangely dampened, possibly because they tend to be locked in a slightly vacant smile.

Personality: Skye is...well, a bit strange. She is obedient enough, certainly, quick to oblige and rarely complaining, but for anyone watching her in a fight, it's obvious that the Mightyena finds no joy in fighting or killing, often withdrawing to solitude after particularly nasty hunts or border scuffles. She also tends to be distanced from those around her, rarely participating in conversations but gazing up at the sky instead, lost in thought. When she does speak, however, her words tend to be very carefully thought out and often almost completely incomprehensible. Skye, it seems, speaks only when she deems it necessary. only says what is absolutely necessary and apparently hates repeating herself. In contrast to her strange insightfulness, she can also come off as very childlike and almost unbelievably naive at times, often tottering after older members of the pack and following everything they do with unwavering concentration without letting as much as a single word cross her lips. The general consensus of the pack - often almost desperately discussed in various degrees of confidence - is that the young Mightyena's behaviour is just "funny influences" derived from her mother, a now deceased old female who had become notoriously eccentric after her mate and three pups perished in a ferocious clash between the clans. This explanation doesn't seem very satisfying, however, as it neglects explaining how the old, rattled, and completely undesirable female found someone to father the pup, but this little wrinkle is overlooked by consensus, nervously laughed away among the more gossipy members of the pack, and Skye has yet to answer the question for herself. She also seems strangely unbothered by the way most pack members try to steer clear of her, apparently fully content to stroll after her newest target of interest: the pack deputy, Snowfang.

Rp sample: Bleah, laziness is so contagious. I'll just point at Ancient Dynasty (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=58028) for now. Fair enough?

EDITNESS: Nyah, fresh sample up and running. I hope I didn't take too many liberties. ^-^

He knew it.

Ever since that near-fatal accident he had caused with the loose boulders, he had known that Boulderstar wouldn't let him off that easily. You didn't not trigger an accidental landslide and nearly kill off two warriors of the pack only to get away with cleaning duty, and even if he had somehow believed that, the fact that he was actually getting an apprentice to help - under the pretence of education - should have been enough of a warning. The older Mightyena sighed as he trudged over to the sizeable pile of debris and rocks clogging the passage. Of course, not everything needed to be cleared out. After all, the Mightyenas of the mountain pack were as sure-footed as they come, and a suitable amount of boulders would hardly pose an obstacle even for the pups, intruders, however, would probably not be quite as lucky. With a steep but sharp-cragged face of rock on one side and a deep chasm on the other, they could be easily bunched up and defeated- Yes, the job in itself wasn't hard, just tedious, but his supposed "assistance" was another matter alltogether.

"Flint-sama?" the voice of a younger, female Mightyena reached the older one's name, snapping him from his thoughts. He didn't even need to turn around to spot the speaker as he could already picture her perfectly in his mind: that strange, nearly white furr, all fluffy like a pup's, and those piercing blue eyes. The Mightyena gave an involuntary shudder, having felt that very pair focused on him with such intensity for the whole journey had been an unnerving experience to say the least. The apprentice had spoken only once this far, and completely ignored her elder's desire to be called by his proper name; Flintfang.

"Yes...Skye?" he replied in as even a voice as he could manage, forcing himself to turn his head in the general direction of the one who was adressing him, creepy though those eyes were. 'Get a grip.' he scolded himself mentally, 'She's just an apprentice like any other, even if she is creepier than usual. There's no reason to be this ruffled. She's probably just going to ask for orders or something.' it was a vain hope, and he knew it.

"Why do we fight?"

'Of all the stupid-' Flintfang thought for himself, but he quickly stiffled the urge to say it out loud; "To get food." he replied simply, "That's why we hunt. You do know how to hunt, don't you?"

"Flint-sama, that's not what I meant." Skye remarked with the strained patience of one who was trying to converse with a child, "Why do we attack others?"

"Because this is our territory." the older Mightyena replied irritably "And we must defend it from intrusion. That's what being a warrior is all about."

The apprentice considered his words for a moment, all the while persisting to look at Flintfang in a slightly disorienting manner, as if she was trying to stare at a point a few inches beneath his skull and the face was only getting in the way.

"Why...is this our territory?" she asked at last.

"Why?" the warrior echoed in disbelief, "It's because-" he took a brief pause. 'Why? Because it's ours, because it's always been ours. The proof of the territory is in the territory.' he groaned. No wonder Boulderstar had wanted a break from the pup, her silence was uncomfortable, but her questions were downright insufferable, and she had been following Snowfang like a shadow for almost a week now. The pack leader had probably wanted some private time with his female - well, it seemed obvious to him that the deputy was Boulderstar's by right, even if it wasn't 'official' so to speak - "It's because we live here!" he snapped at last, "Because we hunt here! It's ours because it's ours! Because we were here first!" he growled irritably, "Now enough of this nonsense, we need to clear out these boulders."

"Why?"

"Because they're dangerous and they're obstructing our passage!" he replied, becoming continuously annoyed with the constantly calm voice of the apprentice, in fact, didn't he detect a sense of pity in there? Was the pup thinking she was smarter?

For a moment more, Skye stared at Flintfang in silence as the older Mightyena trudged over to the nearest boulder letting out a howl as he charged for one of the cracks, knocking of a large chunk from the top with a Rock Smash attack.

"Flint-sama?" she remarked, interrupting him in mid-blow as he prepared to strike off another chunk, "How long have these boulders been here?"

"I-I don't know and I don't care!" the Mightyena replied gruffly, "Forever, I suppose. Why?"

"Well, if they've been here longer than us, aren't we intruding on their territory?"

"That's-they're-they're rocks for goodness sake!" Flintfang exclaimed in desperation, taking out part of his anger on the boulder by chipping off another chunk "Rocks don't have territories!"

"I understand." Skye said simply, proceeding to walk towards another one of the stray boulders and prodding it experimentally. However, just as Flintfang hoped that he had finally gotten to the end of the questions, the apprentice spoke up once again:

"Flint-sama..." she began, "Are these rocks attacking us?"

"Well...not as such." Flintfang replied, "Why do you ask?" talking to the pup was like picking at a scabb, you knew that the more you did it the worse it would get, but somehow you just couldn't stop picking.

"We're only supposed to hunt and defend." Skye said slowly, "But if we don't hunt rocks and the rocks aren't doing anything that we can defend ourselves against, are we allowed to attack them?"

"I-" the older Mightyena replied, noticing far too late that he had stepped into the verbal equivalent of a bear trap, "I-I don't-" he searched desperately for a way to wriggle out with his status as the wiser intact, finally coming upon something that seemed to qualify.

"Come to think of it, these rocks actually did attack us." he stated triumphantly, "They came rolling from above and nearly killed some of our warriors in a fight a few days ago. That's why we have to destroy them. Do you see?"

Skye's eyes widened slightly, a tinge of what the older Mightyena, much to his surprise, found to resemble sadness flashing across them. She merely nodded in response.

"Good." Flintfang replied, now being in far better spirits than before, "Now stop talking and help me fight off these intruders." he seriously hoped that none of the other pack members were around, referring to boulders as enemies would surely make him the laughing stock of the whole pack.

Skye nodded once again, trotting closer to the large pile of rocks and studying it carefully for a while before continuing alongside the main pile until she was almost at the cliff's edge.

"What are you doing?" Flintfang growled irritably, once again having to interrupt his work in order to check up on the apprentice.

"Studying the enemy." she replied in a tone suggesting that this should have been perfectly obvious, "Flint-sama. Strike there, please." she nodded towards one of the more sizeable boulders which had been wedged in a horizontal position in front of the pile of larger ones.

"Now look!" the older Mightyena growled, puffing up his chest fur in an attempt to seem more in charge, "I'm the warrior and I give the orders!"

"I don't have the strength." Skye explained in the politely bored voice of someone trying - for the tenth time - to teach a little child that one plus one is two, "Strike here, please."

"I-" Flintfang continued, "I-FINE!"

He growled in aggitation, gathering up power for a moment before charging at the rock and delivering a powerful strike to it that caused cracks to form along the boulder's surface.

As soon as the blow had been landed, Skye charged forward in turn, forcing the older warrior to dodge to the side as she delivered a careful imitation of the move to the central crack, causing the boulder to shatter, before quickly leaping back again.

The effect was nearly instantaneous, a deep rumbling suddenly becoming audible as the barricade of stone celebrated its release by beginning to tumble down the slight slope of the path and into the chasm below, first the smaller rocks and pebbles close by, then the larger rocks than had been resting on them, the entire blockade falling down like so many dominoes.

"That-" Flintfang managed to utter, gaping in awe, "How did you-"

He paused, suddenly realising that Skye wasn't with him anymore and soon spotting the peculiarly coloured Mightyena's departing back a good way up on the slope they had come down.

"Wait!" Flintfang called out, but between the rumble of the stones and the howling of the winds, even the full-grown Mightyena's howl was hopelessly drowned, and he could do nothing but watch, his gaze travelling back and forth between the peculiar apprentice and the now cleared passage while his mind stubbornly refused to grasp what had just happened. One thing was certain, though, this had probably not been what Boulderstar had in mind.

Meanwhile, up on the slope, Skye's attention had already been shifted tn a spot in the distance; the pack dens, her paws at full work with bringing their owner towards it as quickly as possible and her eyes glinting slightly.

"Snow-nee-chan." the Mightyena whispered quietly, "I'm coming."

Like, not to clutter up this thread with meaningless posts or anything, but I just wanted to point out that I've added a fresh RP sample now. I hope I didn't go overboard. =3 Oh, and out of curiosity, how many joiners are we looking for before starting? I imagine that there would be quite a lot since there are four packs and all, but still...*Is anxious to start*

...

Right, shutting up now. ^-^

As for now, I am just waiting D; Cause I know how hard it is when you are behind in an rp x.X Though I also don't want this to die before we even get started....ummm....

...How about Saturday night then? If the people I mentioned join before the mentioned date, then we'll start sooner, but if they don't then we are starting Saturday night no matter what :3

It's been a while sense I RP here so I guess I'll join this baby, I've been working on this for a while.

Note: He’s a Poochyena GS gave the go ahead

Name: ShadowPaw

Gender: Male

Age: 1 1/2

Pack: Forest

Position: Apprentice

Description: Shadow, is, for a Poochyena quite large and full grown in his Poochyena state, he could have evolved a long time ago. His coat is a dark shade of grey, his tail is normal size and quite bushy. His outer eyes are yellow, but his pupils are dark green. His mussel is a bit larger, and the pattern is cut of at the top, instead of pointed. His under claws are also nice and firm, perfect for getting up trees.

Personality: Shadow is a young proud member of his pack, he’s confident, and firmly believes in his principles. Shadow for the most part is a confident, laid back Poochyena, but harsh words towered him, or others, can get to him, so he can be a bit of a hot head, he also hates to be considered weak, just because he has deiced to stay a Poochyena longer than most. Though Shadow is a bit rash, he tries to stay as open minded as he can, even if it involves other packs, he understands this much opened mindedness my get him in trouble, but he will not always fallow laws that make no sense to him.

Rp sample: ( Ok this is from a digimon RP on another forum, if that won’t do I’ll make one, I haven’t RPed here in a while, this is one of my better post.)

Leon sighed, “I already like Elecmon, he is cool, but when he puts out my short comings, do you think I’ll run over to give him a hug? If something happened I would be sad, and we just met, we’ll grow on each other. And you may have a point, though much time to act my age, I’m one of thoughs slightly cliché kids who are glowed to a book watch over by a personal tutor, and not to mention acting may age, won’t get me far in a world of digital beast, such as the one the orange one is fighting.” Leon then turned to Lucemon.

“And when you say reformed…” Elecmon interjected “I can answer that, you see when a digimon, well let say dies, it turns into an egg and is sent too one of a few towns were digimon eggs form, and is lets say reset. Then he can be the digital worlds greats hero or villain, though there base personality may remain, this still doesn’t seal there fate in any direction, good or evil. “I’ve been told, I was once a great digimon, that protected a young human, but sadly met my end protecting it, but that could have just been a story.” Leon smiled, and patted Elecmon “Thanks, and I think they were telling the truth it doesn’t seem like the kind of fairytale people shut tell to random kids, or… young digimon.”

Name: Venix

Gender: Female

Age: 3

Pack: Forest Pack

Position: Warrior

Description: Venix is a strong, well built female. Her coat is of a darker brown, her being 'shiny'. One of her eyes is a sky blue, the other, red. Her paws are the color of black, the same with the tips of her ears and the tip of her tail. Her paws are large and wide, perfectly built for running over thick brush. Her tail is long and flowy, like the rest of her coat. Her hearing and sence of smell are very sharp, as are her large teeth when bared.

Personality: In the heat of battle, she can be fierce and terrifying. When around the Pack she is respectful and very gental. Some say her body was built for battle, and her soul as built for care. When she is upset, she does not take it out on others. She runs away to be by herself to think about it over. Her trust is hard to obtain, but once obtained she can be fiercely loyal. When in the presence of a Leader or Queen, or someone who is of higher rank, she is very respectful. Shy around larger ones unless insulted. She usually only takes action when ordered to, insulted, or being attacked.

Rp sample:
Venix ran swiftly through the thick forest of trees. Dodging these trees made great practice for battle when another is attempting an attack on her. Graceful were she steps as she troted about the forest floor.

She came to a stop and inspected her surroundings. A light breeze blew past her, her brown and black fur flow in it. The sent of another Pack nipped her nose, but she acted as if she didn't notice.

Soon, she heard a twig snap from behind and she looked around the place she heard the noise. A large male bounded at her, but she quickly rolled away. She used her powerful legs to leap into the air and land on him. They bit at each other, rolling around, trying to pin each other. Venix came out on top of the other male.

"What business do you have doing in the Forest Pack's land?" She asked, baring her teeth.
The male didn't respond, but struggled beneth her.
"What Pack do you belong to?!" She asked, becoming annoyed.
"I don't have a Pack!" He spat.
"Then why are you roaming around in a Pack's territory?!" Venix persisted.
"I'm looking for a Pack to join!" He said despritely.

Venix sighed and hopped off him. "Come, I'll show you to our Pack." She walked up closer to his face once he got up. "But if you do anything to harm anyone of the Pack I'll personally rip your head off." She said warningly before swiftly turning and walking around the trees.

Name: Luli

Gender: Female

Age: Around 2 or 3

Pack: The River Pack

Position: Apprentice

Description: Luli has very dark fur and is quite slim for a mightyena, you can see her eaes easily as they are crystal-like. She's quite good-looking, but not the best, just over average looking.

Personality: She can be kind and all, but she can also be very cheeky. And don't get on her bad side, unless she's having one of her tired or weak moments. A few males like her, however she is totally unaware, this is a shame as she's been looking for a partener for two years.

'Concentrate on the water... the sparkle and the reflecting sun... concentrate... C-O-N-C-E-N-T-R-A-T-E... The mightyena thought, her eyes fixed on the water, trying to 'free her mind', although it wasn't really working. But it would work any second soon, she couldn't give up. She replaced her crystal eyes onto a glimmer, a glimmer of hope, a glimmer of hope that would bring her life to love... why was this glimmer of hope glimmering, anyway? Maybe love was getting closer... 'Focus, concentrate, it's getting closer...' She thought, excitement screaming and squealing to her heart... it was getting closer, it was getting closer...! The wind let a moarnful whisper out to the open as it kicked up the river, and the glimmer with it.

"OH, I GIVE UP!" She screamed, kicking a twig into the river as her echo approached her ears. She frowned at the Forest Pack, she shook her head at the Feild Pack, and she glared at the Mountain Pack. 'I know it's wrong to judge others for what they are, but they are all traitors. As by law. As by law. As by LAW!' Her head screamed. '... But I wonder why it is a law?' She wondered, and that was it. There was no reason. She stared up to the mountains as this thought flooded her head. 'But it's my law. And I know there is a reason. There must be...

Well I am taking a chance with Erin, just to be fair because I know meeee<3 can rp good already, though her sign-up is a little too short like erin's was. I think you two will do good anyway ^^ You are both accepted.

Now, we begin lol

Snowfang rolled aroundin her sleep, covered in sweat and panting as she dreamed a most horrible dream...

Snowfang looked up, eyes wide with terror. She was in the middle of a blood-soaked battle field; the sky red and the grass stained with Wolf's blood. Hundreds of Mightyena were seen before here, along with many, many humans. They both faught, spilling more and more blood by the second. 'What's going on??' She began to run forward, just realising that she was invisible to the, as both Mightyena and human ran through her translucent-like body. 'Why is this happening???'

Snow stopped dead in her tracks, staring up in horror as a large Mightyena leaped straight at a human, jaws opened, and bit him hard on the neck, spilling large amounts of blood. The human screamed out in pain and, just moments before he died, lifted his gun and shot at the attacking Mightyena's heart, instanly killing him. The human then fell to the ground, and died.

"B-Boul...-" Snow couldn't finish her sentence. She fell to the ground, her eyes filled with tears and her whole body trembling.

Her head immediately perked when she heard a faint voice in her head. Almost instantly, the battle cries began to die down, the horror sceen before her turning black, until she was surrounded by complete darkness.

"Snowfang..you must...hurry....chosen one.."

"Huh??" Snow looked around, eyes wide with fright. "What?? Chosen one?? What do you mean who are you???????!!!" Snow's questions ran together and her voice shook.

"..Snow...fang go..to..Crystal Pool tomorr..ow..See...there...." The voice died completely, and Snow's eyes shot opened as she jerked her head up from her forepaws and looked around her den.

"W-wha...." She panted heavily, her eyes still wide with the horror of her dream. Slowly she got up, falling once due to her body still trembling. Once she was fully up she limped out of the cave, and threw up, the dream still fresh in her mind. "What...the hell happend. Boulder...Boulder!" Her eyes windened as she remember Boulder. Rushing back to her den, Snow let out a short, shaky sigh as she saw Boulder sleeping contently on their nest. "B-Boulder...." Snow's whole body shook as the dream came back. Her eyes filled with tears as she walked out into the open. Laying down on her side, Snow glanced up at the moon. "What...the hell is going on...." Shakily, Snow layed her head down on the cool rock, as the shaking slowly subsided.

Then, as she closed her eyes and felt her body go limp, she quietly began to cry.

Ok, so your first post has to be about recieving the messege from an anonomous voice to go to the Crystal Pool tomorrow. Then we shall continue from there on~

{ooc| *seizures* Roleplay.... based on the warrior series...? Wow, I used to adore those books. Will sign up! I hope it's okay if I play a leader... }

Name: Greyback (or Grey for short)
Age: Around 8 or 9
Gender: Male
Pack: Forest
Position: Leader

Personality:
Despite his years, Grey is still as mischievous as he ever was, and while his body is blunted, his mind remains sharp. He is a kindly fellow, and has plenty of sympathy to spare - he's a firm believer in self-worth, and often tries to inflict this on others. He was a womaniser in his younger days, but then he met his mate. Now he had a quiet respect for the opposite gender. In his old age he has a powerful love for his pack members.
However, he doesn't suffer fools gladly. He reigns kindly, yet with an iron fist, which gets him respect from amongst his packmates.

Appearance:
Pace is an incredibly grizzled-looking beast. In his old age, his fantastic coat is streaked with gray and white, his ears are riddled with holes and he wears his battle-scars with pride. Many criss-cross his face and neck. He has a rather standard-looking coat, save for a black streak along his back. He was an extremely lithe looking beast, which no doubt contributed to his speed as a young mightyena. Now he had slightly more of a bulk about him, but he's by no means fat. His back right thigh sports a large wound, half-healed.
He's a ferocious beast to behold!

Sample: Check out the Showgan Roleplay

Other: Origionally went as FleetFoot, but was wounded terribly in a battle with a seviper during one of his many wanderings when he was around nine. As a result, he lost the ability to run, and hence changed his name.

{edit: Oh, and Grey is 100% mortal. As in, he's really getting on a bit, he's actually physically aging, and probably won't be able to keep up with the others all the time. I've just noticed there's another oldie in this roleplay, but I've been dying to play a character like Grey for some time now. So...xP}

IC:

"Skye..."

The voice was little more than a whisper, but Skye immediately rose up - well, in the dream world, anyway, for her real body was still lying asleep on the cliffs, just a small distance away from the dens.

"So it's time, then?" the Mightyena didn't sound the least bit surprised or disturbed by this sudden intrusion of a foreign voice in her head. In fact, her voice quivered with excitement, and had her sky blue eyes been open they would have seemed to glow by now, her nearly white furr fluttering slightly in the breeze of the white, cloudlike dreamscape around her, "Will I...will I finally get to meet mama?"

The voice chuckled slightly, "Soon, child..." it replied calmly, "Soon...but first, there is something required of you. A task to be fullfilled, a very important task..."

Skye nodded, "I'll do it." she replied simply.

"You accept just like that?" the voice inquired, "Before you even know what is required of you?"

"When I do this...I'll be reunited mama." Skye replied steadily, "I'll do anything to be reunited with mama."

"Brave words, child." the voice remarked calmly, "Certainly fit for a chosen one. Very well, go to the crystal pool and your path shall soon become clear. Follow it, and you shall find your 'mama'...but be..." the voice suddenly weakened, "...be...warned..." it persisted "...what you seek might..."

The voice never got to finish, a loud gale suddenly permanating the dreamscape and sedding tufts of the white ground into flight everywhere, blinding Skye's vision in the dream just before the place dissolved, returning the young Mightyena to cold reality.

"Mama..." she whispered quietly, quickly rising to her feet from the cold ground, "I'll find you, I promise."

Skye quickly began moving, treading towards the slope down at a steady pace. Just then, however, she suddenly heard a familiar voice...a familiar voice crying.

"Snow-nee-chan?"

The little Mightyena quickly scampered over to Snowfang, nuzzling the deputy lightly.

"Snow-nee-chan, is something wrong?"

'What you seek might...what?' she pondered the words from her vision while simultaneously trying to comfort the older female, 'Will it...will it hurt Snow-nee-chan?' she shook her head though, that thought was silly, but maybe the voice had talked to her too? Could...that maybe be the reason why the deputy was looking so down?

"Did you...have a dream too?" Skye added after some consideration, "Is that why you're upset, Snow-nee-chan?"

"Look at her. How dreadful! Can't imagine why she has the cheek to call herself a Mightyena!"

"Stay away from us! Y'big goof! Don't be coming in an messin' up our fun! Y' jinx!"

"How many times I need repeat this, Sonaraku? Have some resposibility why don't you? Last thing we need is a bumbling child."

"Last thing we need is a nobody..."

A young Mightyena stared up into the dark night sky. Her ears flattened as previous conversations ran through her head. The neutral expression on her face slowly turning into that of one who was sad and thoughtful.

She had picked that night to reflect on past events, not being able to get to sleep. Her eyes drifted away from the moon, scanning the area to see sleeping Mightyena. Most of them on the forest floor in the shade of the tall trees. Others choosing to pass their night on the branches.

Sona had been lucky enough to secure a safe spot in a pile of bushes. Scratchy and annoying they were. But, it was either this, or the cold hard ground. The rest of the Apprentices had gotten the good spots under the trees.

It had always been like this, and it would always stay the same. The female didn't mind, not at all. As long as she could be herself, even sleeping in a pile of bushes, she was used to it. It would always be the same.

"I don't like boring things..."Sona thought to herself, raising her head higher so that she could possibly, find a star to wish on. It was an old tale, and no one believed it anymore. Actually, no one believed anything anymore. They just relyed on their jaws and claws... they couldn't even find the strength within themselves to fight without having to resort to violence. She raised a paw, remembering how the hunters of the pack would laugh at her for having such weak and blunt claws.

"Really meh' dear! You can't go a' hunting wif' those lil' pebbles you call claws!"

The Mightyena giggled, secretly agreeing with them in her head, cutting herself off as she found a single star clinging on the blanket of the night.

Everyday she would wake up, wash up, go to look out duty, hunt, eat, sleep.

How disgustingly normal.

Even thinking about these events, they were strong enough to actually make her tired. A yawn escaped the wolf, as she let out a soft growl, staring at the star.
"It's just a teeny tiny wish. I hope's that you could please grant if you could grant. If you can't, it's okay with me, Mister Star. But, please try your best, please. I just want to.. find some place where.... No, just let me find a place... You understand me, don't you Mister Star? You understand, I know you do, I know..."gradually she turned away from the bright star, laying her head into the leaves of the bush as her whole body curled up. Her eyes finally closing, whispering out one last time,

"I just want... a place.."

--

Sona opened an eye, the sunlight nearly blinding her as she let out a yawn, retreating out of the bush to stretch herself, shaking off the sleepiness.

"G' Mornin' everyone! The Sun is shining! Shining! And we. Are. Going. To. Have. A. Fun. Day!!!!"the Mightyena let out an enthusiastic cry, opening her eyes to see whether anyone was going to scold her for waking them up[again].

Instead, she came face to face with a scene, a terrible scene, a scene of blood and wounded companions. Scattered all around the clearing they had slept in.

"Leader! Leader Greyback!!"Sona called out franticly, trying her hardest not to step into the many pools of blood which reddened the previous luscious green grass.

It was a frigtening scene to behold. For one as young as herself, never had she seen this much war and panic in all one place. Had someone attacked the pack while they were sleeping? Wouldn't the sentry duties have realised this?!

"Leader Greybaaaack!!!!!"the Mightyena cried out once more, her voice breaking as she fell onto her legs. She felt so weak and alone, so hopeless and lost. Where was their mighty leader? The warriors? The Deputies? Where?

"Looks like we missed one of them, boz'!"

Sona spun around, bearing her teeth, the scent of this new creature was not of her pack. Actually, she had never smelt anything like this.

It was a tall figure, it's pelt in different colors. It's face was the only part which wasn't pelt, but skin, was a dark, tanned shade, eyes showing such intelligence, and yet foolishness. It stood on two oddly shaped legs, dark brown colored. It's chest however, was light blue, the layer of skin underneath these 'pelts' boring same color of it's face.

Was this.. a human?

Sona had never seen a human before. Only heard of them in stories. They wore artificial pelts to hide their weak, frail skin. They could stand on two legs, and they were destroyers of nature.

The wolf tried to steady her gaze into it's eyes, trying her best to look intimidating. However, letting out a soft whimper as she saw it take out a shiny and sharp object from beneath it's chest pelt.

"You're all bark and no bite, as I can see." the human laughed, swinging the dagger down towards Sona.

Darkness.

"What're we gonna' do wit' 'er? Boz'?"

"Take her to the Crystal Pool, of course! Go! Hurry!"

"Go to the Crystal Pool, young one..."

The last statement was not spoken with the gruffness of the humans.
Instead, it was a calming and soothing voice.

"Go to the Crystal Pool, there is where what you seek, is what you'll find...."

--

"SEEK THE FIND!!!!!!"Sona sat up, fully awakened from the obvious dream she had been having. Her tougue hung out of her mouth, as she surveyed her surrondings. No blood or injuries. Just angry, drowsy fellow-apprentices growling at her.

"You're at again Sona! How're we supposed ta' sleep if you keep on shouting like that! Least you could do is shut up!"one of the young Mightyena complained, grumbling as he turned away to try and get back to sleep.

The others nodded in unison, shooting her deathstares as they too decided to turn away and get back into their sleeping positions for the rest of the night. Sona ignored them, bowing as an apology, though she highly doubted that there was anyone left to apologise to. The wolf stared up into the dark sky, trying to look for her star.

There it was, in the same place she had found and left it. Still shining ever so brightly.

"Go to the Crystal Pool..."the words were like echos in her mind.

With this new found goal, she couldn't possibly get to sleep, could she? She'd leave the first thing tomorrow morning. For now...

"I'm off to see whether I can score a shift in sentry duty!"she called out, receiving agitated growls as a reply. The Mightyena smiled, trying her best not to let them get to her.

"Okays~!"

Charon-Chan-accepted

Snowfang blinked her eyes open, her vision blurry from the tears she shed. She looked up and could see a shadowy figure standing before her, the one who nuzzled her out of her nightmares.

"...Skye?" Slowy, Snow got up, her movement uneven and jerky. Still, she tried not to let it show.

She tilted her head to one side "What are you doing outside this late?" She asked, trying to stop her voice from shaking, as well as her trembling paws.

Silently, Snow cursed her self, soon realising that Skye would most likely ask the same question. Quickly changing the subject, she added "Dream? You had a dream; about what?" Her ears perked forward, intent on listening to what the dream was about. 'Was it the same as mine??' She thought silently.

Once, the vegetation that snapped at his ankles would have gone unnoticed. Once, the treacherous terrain that threatened to fall him would have been dirt beneath his paws. And once, he would have been leading the hunt, not trudging along in it's midst.
Oh, how Greyback hated being old. It clung to him like an unruly pup, rearing it's mischievous head every now and again as if to remind him, yes, one day I am going to conquer you, old dog. He raised his amber eyes to the town ahead, and set his muzzle in a wolfish grin. His old orbs still had a spark to them; they seemed to glimmer with defiance at the sight of the dens. This time, old age wouldn't win.

Greyback was a large beast. Everything about him was grizzled, from his scarred muzzle to the shredded remains of one floppy ear; even his gait, of which he had once been named after, was now marred. He moved with a definite limp; his left hind leg was a mess of matted fur and scar tissue. What looked like an old fang-wound was still visible, the hollow half-hidden beneath his thick, greying coat. And what a coat it was! It was a dappled, ever-changing affair; it was a brownish-gray, tinted with silver and black. Along his back was a distinctive black streak; it faded into the rest of his coat like watercolours. His muzzle was already silvery-grey, but his eyes remained bright. Pace's body may have been failing, but he was still as young as he ever was.

Night was drawing in, and the hunting troupe was home. What lovely magnitude that word held. How much he longed for it...
They halted by the dens, and each member came to dip their muzzles before him; "Leader Greyback," they muttered respectively, and he nodded at each of them.
"Good hunt, boys," he told them all. Only when the last had headed back to their respective dens did he allow himself to relax. He dropped into a lying position, and rested his head on his paws.

Almost immedietly, sleep snatched him away.

Oh, how he dreamed! Stilted figures on two legs strode through his lands, walking amongst flames and blood-stained bracken, their harsh voices echoing through his head. Where were the others? He didn't need to ask him. The dream told him, dead, dead, dead. The figures were chanting it too, and then...
"Go to the Crystal Lake."

Greyback awoke. He got up slowly, seeking his mate. There was no sign of her, and no time to look. He left just as the sun rose.

Venix walked through the very dark wood, staring up in a confused mannor at the trees, her ears hung low. Beneth her paws were many dead and fallen leaves the crunched.

Suddenly, she heard a struggle and snaps of teeth and growling. She slyly approached the noise, and saw.. Herself?! Yes, it was her, fighting underneth a very large brute with many, many scars.

Venix templed, confused. 'Who is he? Why are we fighting? Where the heck am I?!' Venix asked herself.

"Listen!!" The brute commanded, pinning her to the ground. "Be at the Crystal Pool by tommorrow, or so help you, I'll--" He was cut off by a long, low howl. He growled, and jumpped off Venix, running off.
--------------------
Venix fell from the tree branch she was suspended from, falling a ways down into the ground with a thump. She jumpped to her feet and hopped around quickly, looking around to see if she was in any danger.

In a confused mannor, she stared at the ground. "Go to the Crystal Pool tommorrow, or so help you.." The brute had said. With a quick huff, she looked into the night's moon and gave a sigh.

'I suppose I'll go to the Crystal Pool tommorrow. Or so help me..' Venix thought to herself before scurringing up the tree bark again.

No everybody has been accepted but erin now, though your description is a bit short, I know you can rp well ;3

(OCC: If you thought I was good then, then your in for a treat, I'm much better now ^_^)

Atop a tree Shadow, one of the stronger Apprentices, and the oldest Poochyena laid on a well leafed tree branch. He was sound asleep, snoring softly, has he dreamed. An old Mightyena approached him. Shadow smiled and moved closer. “Grandfather.” Shadow said addressing the Mightyena. “It’s nice to see you ShadowPaw, how is your mother.” The Adult wolf said softly and causally. “She’s doing fine, I don’t see here to often though, I spend most of my time with the younger Mightyena, after all I will be viewed as I was thoughs many mouths ago, a pup that had to had to be protected. How is father?” The small wolf replied. The elderly Mightyena seemed to be impressed with it’s grandchild’s progress. “He is fine and wish’s to see you soon.” The Mightyena decide to change the subject.

“Listen Young ShadowPaw, you seems very loyal to the pack, but your mind seems to be full of thoughs out side are forest. Why is this.” Shadow was a bit nerves to say what he was about to say, but this was his grandfather, he was very open minded, and even if he didn’t agree, could he even tell the pack? “Well…. Why do we have to dived this land into fourths? Why can’t we share the land, or at least be welcomed into others, as guest?” The Mightyena smiled at shadow. “Ah young ShadowPaw, just as intelligent as any pack member your age, yet filed with pup like wonder, no matter how old you get, no matter if you decide to change into a Mightyena, please, for me, keep that wonder.” As his grandfather finished Shadow felt a bit inselted, but understood this was a complement. “Well forbidden or not, your best bet to meet a Mightyena form another pack is to go to the Crystal Pool, I’m sure there are other Mightyena that feel the same way as you do, you may also get to see your father in the pool. “ Shadow smiled nuzzling his grandfather. “Thank yo…”

Shadow was interrupted with Sonaraku yell, Shadow, surprised fell out of his tree. “Ow…. What the…” Shadow turned to Sona. Then walked over to here. “What is it this time Sona, other pack members getting to you again? I’ve told you if I can be one of the top apprentices in the pack so can you.” Shadow could tell it was something else. He then thought, could it be? “Was it a dream?”

Sona halted herself as she heard a voice call out to her. The familiarity of the Poochyena's growl brought a smile to her face, as she turned around to face Shadow.

"No, they aren't, Shadow. No they aren't.."she told him, glad that at least one member of their pack had bothered to talk to her. Despite the fact that he was still a Poochyena and an apprentice, Sona was about thet same size as him. She didn't really mind, though a small spark of jealousy flared in her eyes for just a moment.

"And what's this talk about me being a Top Apprentice?!"the Mightyena let out a sarcastic gasp, holding a paw up to her chest.

"You're good enough, anyways! I say, I'll become a Top Apprentic when I want to! When I want to! Maybe even a Warrior! Heh!!"the wolf giggled, nearly losing her footing in the process.

She actually did when Shadow mentioned about a dream, landing on the ground next to him.

"Ohh!! Yes, yes!! It was a dream! A dream!"the Mightyena didn't bother to pick herself up, staying in the awkward position, nodding her head.

"There were these.. multi-colored peoples!! I think they were humans! I think!"she turned around, so that she could face Shawdowpaw fully, her back to the floor.

"Then, blood everywhere! Everyone was dead, an-and, Leader Greyback wasn't there! It was scary! Scary!"she covered her eyes with her paws, shivering at the thought.

"The humans wanted to bring me to the Crystal Pool! And then, suddenly, another voice told me to go to the Crystal Pool! It was like, like, so soothing! It sounded like my mama... Now that I think of it.. it.."her voice drew into a quiet whisper at the end of the statement, remembering how much she missed her mother. Sona stopped ranting, staying on the ground, staring up at Shawdow. He was the Top Apprentice here, he would've known what to do.

The sun rose across the horizon. The grasslands became a bright green with a hint of orange streaming across by the light of the sun.

A a great fire can be seen in the fields. A roaring fire with gray smoke that blackens the sky. Pounding can be heard and the land shakes of festivity. It is the Field pack dancing for the rising of a new sun. The rthyming pounds beat to the dancers movements. A group of Mightyenas can be circling the fire and twirling about dancing with the howls and the flame.

Suddenly the tribal dance came to a hault. The dancers paused in place as Almor slowly walked towards everyone coming from his burrow. He limped as he walked, dragging his crippled leg.

He came to the center with the fire behind him, he looked around at everyone and spoke,

"I have recieved a vision from the great one. In this vision I have been told that in the year of a new sun there will be bloodshed and death."

The pack grew a silent.

"Do not be freightened for there is hope. Let us dance for today is the begining of a new sun. Let us dance for that hope!" He exclaimed.

The Mightyenas howled loudly and became very excited. The music began once more with a much faster beat and the dancers began to dance wild.

During the wild festival Almor stepped down from the large rock he stood forth on and left the dance. Almor heads to Crystal lake to pray. He will pray for his people, his land and the hope for a brighter future.

OOC: Ack! Got a couple of minutes of online time before I have to go! O_O Okay, quick postie. For the time I'm away, just assume that Skye's being strangely quiet (It's pretty normal for her).

IC:

"I always sleep outside." Skye replied, apparently unfazed by the sudden switch of subject and starting with the first question, "That way I'm closer to mama." she smiled in her usual slightly absent way, she then took a spot of silence to ponder the second question, as if both had been given with ample time to answer in between.

"It was a dream about clouds." she stated at last, "And a voice." the apprentice fell silent again, apparently deeming this to be ample description of her vision.

"Snow-nee-chan, I think we should go to the crystal pool now." she added after a while, "Otherwise the voice might get bored waiting." with that and another extended stare into the other's eyes, the young Mightyena took off again, resuming the journey she had embarked on previously.

OOC: Nyah, sucky post, I know. But I wanted to be sure I had the time to make it before I went. xP Anywho, I'll be back in a few days, so try not to leave me completely in your collective RPing dust, please. ^-^

Greyback was walking. His tail swung from side to side with each step, and his head was down. For some odd reason, his leg was barely bothering him this morning; a twinge, here and there, but that was nothing to the usual bone-deep ache that plagued the old wound.
He strode past his pack mates. Most raised their heads in sleepy acknowledgement, but the rest were still dozing in the early morning light. He didn't know why he was going. He had never believed in all those anciant heebie-geebies; look in the pool, learn your future... to him it was just a load of . He lead his pack on what he could see. What he could hear. What he could smell...
But that wasn't an ordinary dream, he thought to himself. The acrid smell of burning blood was still on his tongue.

As he left the more thickly-woven trees, Greyback could see two young mightyenas talking quietly.
"Sonaraku? Shadowfang?" he asked softly, padding closer, "what are you too vagabonds doing out here?" a smile curled his maw. Probably planning to elope or something similar, he thought.

OOc-

Yeah.. just to say, I thought Shadow was a Poochyena. X3

Ic-

Sona turned at the mention of her name, wanting to tell the creature who had called it out to twist his tougue and say 'Sona'. Immediately, that thought vanished as she hasted to get up from the ground to give a curt bow to the pack's leader. She had always respected him, looked up to him. Well, he was their Leader after all. But, something past those battle scars had earned her utmost loyalty.

"Leader Greyback! We were just talking about you, sir! Sir!"the Mightyena told him, straightening her posture before gesturing to Shadow with one paw.

"I had a dream, Leader! It was, about humans! Humans! And, it told me to go to the Crystal Pool! I don't know what Shadow has in mind here. But, I'd like to go to the pool. If- You'd allow me, that is. That is.."dipping her head to listen what Greyback had to say.

Honestly, she'd feel much safer, and she'd find it 'funner' if someone accompanied her. Be it Grey or Shadow. If it was the both of them, it woud've been even better, wouldn't it?

(Thanks. ^_^)

"I wonder... what happened in the past? Was there a fight? Or is it just a teritorial thing?" She gazed at the water once again. "I hope we didn't start it. The River Pack, starting a war? Crazy. No, I'm crazy. Why am I talking to myself?" She questioned as if she could actually answer herself. She kicked another stick into the water. It was a little, tiny stick, but somehow it seemed to... kick up a wave. They wave blew forwards, then backwards, and hit Luli. Panicking, she tried to run, but she couldn't, it was too strong. When the wave finally kicked back into place, she stuggled to open her eyes. She started to cough up water. Soon she could just manage to squint... but then she closed her eyes again.

As she looked around, millions of questions flooded her head. Where was she? How did she get here? Is that a light? "... Am I dead?" She whined, staring at the light awkwardly.

"Crystal Pool..." A voice moarned.

"What?" Luli questioned, dazed.

"Tomorrow..."

"... I don't get you,"

"Tomorrow, Crystal... Crystal Pool..." With that, the light dashed forward and hit Luli on the forehead.

"WAIT! WHAT WERE YOU TALKING ABOU--" But it was too late, and her 'sleep' had finished. She opened her eyes and leapt up. "I don't know what that was... but I didn't like it..." Sighing, she sat back down. "I guess I should go to this 'Crystal Pool' tomorrow, wether I want to, or not." Still gobsmacked at this, she gazed up to the mountains. "I wonder if they got the same dream, too? Was that just a meaningless dream? I'll find out..." She looked down at her reflection. "... I'll find out... tomorrow."

Shadow could tell from her sudden silence, That Sona was sad about her mother.

“Listen, I didn’t mean to sound high and mighty with the hole top apprentice thing, I was just saying, even if your small for a Mightyena, your still bigger then me, your claws are bigger than mine, and your teeth are bigger than mine, and yet I still excel. So, it’s not your size, it’s your spirit, and always use whatever strengths you have, so it evens your flaws. And I had a dream too but it was different then tha….”

Shadow was interrupted by the forest Packs leader Greyback. Shadow too hated to be called be his full name, but he didn’t mind to much if it was an adult. “Sir, I to had a dream, different from Sonaraku..” He paused for a second ‘She’s going to kill me for calling her that….’ Shadow quickly got back to the point. “But the message was the same, my I please accompany her to the Crystal Pool, with your permission of course." Shadow said trying to sound formal with the pack leader.

Venix fell from her tree perch, landing softly on the ground. She yawned and shook her head, looking around. Not many others were around her, although they were all still asleep.

Venix ignored the other and sniffed at the morning air. She streched out her front legs, then her back. With a shiver she shook her body off and began padding off into the wood.

'I need to ask Greyback before I go to the Crystal Pool.. Well, first I need to find him..' Venix thought to herself. 'I little warm-up before I go..

Venix began trotting around trees. She slowly started running faster and faster until the trees were but a blurr. She began panting, and stopped herself by jumpping off the bark of a tree.

Once stopped, she walked, trying to locate Greyback, the Leader of her Pack.

When Shadow finally did reply, Sona mearly tilted her head to the side, smiling. "You didn't sound high and mighty to me. And all the point's you've said are very correct. Correct. But... too bad about my claws,"she shrugged her shoulders at the last part, raising one paw off the ground.

"-And the fact that I would never care to be a Top Apprentice."she added, nearly falling over for the second time that morning. Placing her paw back down again, just to steady herself. Last thing she needed was to embarass herself in front of Greyback.

Still, Shawdow had made rather good points, most being those which the female Mightyena had never bothered to think of before. That was one of the reasons why he was a Top Apprentice then, she supposed. Not really interested in letting the matter continue, she immediately jumped in once the male had finished his request to their leader.

"Oh! Yes! Yes! It'd be nice! Just like a fieldtrip of sorts~! Much better than going off alone! Alone!"she growled, seating herself on the ground just to clap her paws together, letting the fact that he had called her by her full name pass.

For now.

Is it too late for me? I was invited, but I don't know..

Name: Hana ('flower' in japanese)
Gender: Female
Age: Two in dog years; fourteen in human
Pack: Field Pack.
Position: Apprentitce

Description: A small Mightyena, with a gleaming dark grey coat and bright, green eyes. She has a fluffier than usual coat that always remains silky, even after harsh winds and battles, and an even fluffier, longer (and thicker) than usual tail, as well as paws.

She also has these little black and light gray markings in random spots of her fur, which resemble flower petals.

Hana wears a bell around her neck, tied with a purple ribbon.

Personality: Hana is a very outgoing and humorous Mighteyena, yet most of her jokes seem to be sarcastic. She's a rather lazy, sort of strange-to-be-around type, because you can never tell what's on her mind, and she always seems to be smiling.
Hana also enjoys taking long walks at night, and spying on members of the other packs. Lately she's been partial to the forest pack, as they are the closest and seem to be quite active. She also enjoys running anywhere her paws will take her too.
Though she might appear constantly happy and joyous on the outside, Hana actually at times looks down on herself, and more often than not feels like a burdon. She can often get serious if he sees the need to. She also understands a lot more than she lets off.
Of all things, Hana hates being a member of the field pack.

Rp sample: She was running.

Running again, getting away from it all, from the field. She hated it. They all seemed so proud, so happy to be where they were, it was almost sickening. She was often told that she'd get used to it, that she'll soon she the joys of living in an open field, but she never believed it. It's been years, and she's never found anything to hold onto.
Watching other packs only made it worse, but it was amusing, watching them live, laugh and learn.
She had wanted to be like that. She had longed to be like that.
But she wasn't.

Yes, there were some things that made her smile. Dreaming of a new tomorrow. She could sit there and make up conversations with other made-up Mightyenna.
Lost in her thoughts, in her hopes, the small Mightyena stumbled over her own paws.

She was falling.

Falling again, and failed to get away from it all. Her grunts of pain echoed through the sky, and she collapsed, tired from the run.

She was dreaming.

Dreaming again, of another place, a better place.

----

Still a little choppy, I might edit it soon.

"Being closer to mama..." Snowfang echoed the words inside her mind, memories of her parents flashing back to her. True, her father was once leader, while her mother deputy, but during a giant storm they had, unfortunately, lost their lives to nature. There bodies were never found, though it was suspected they were long dead. Snow was devastated, though she had long recovered it, and is now the new deputy, chosen by Boulder himself, who was chosen by the ancestors of Crystal Pool to be new leader.

Her feelings mixed as she got up and stretched her back, her claws making scraping sounds against the hard rock that lay beneath their paws.

Snow lifted her head, ears pricked, and gazed toward the horizon, the memories slowly vanishing. Her eyes were soft as she watched the pink light slowly seep up through the lightening night sky. It was almost dawn.

Getting up, Snow flicked her glossy tail on Skye's shoulder. "Come. We must go now. You are right.." She added in, smiling at the "bored waiting" comment.

Turning heel, Snow started slowly trotting off down the ever changing slopes of the mountain pack's territory. Not stopping once, knowing Skye was bound to follow.

Almor reached Crystal Pool and looked into its clear water. He sees his reflection in the calm waves and closes his eyes, he begins to pray. Being very spiritual, Almor feels the need to do this when he enters such a sacred land.

"Oh great spirit, please give me a vision." Almor asked.

He can hear the howls and movement of other Mightyena's running about on the other side of the lake, however it does not concern him. Slowly the waves move towards him and wisp of water splash on his old paws.

There he receives a possible vision, it shows the great fields, the high mountains, the lush forest and the mighty river. All of them are seen together and then fire is spread into them, turning the water to smoke, the mountains crumbling, the a forest of ashes and a field ablaze.

This is what he has seen in his vision when he was asleep. With this in mind he reflected back on his dream and acknowledged the fact that these two visions are somehow related.

"For it is a year of a new sun.... I must pray to the great spirit for the future of my people." He thought to himself.

He then began to pray more by the water.

IC:

Skye had paused briefly as Snowfang seemed to get lost in thought, the young Mightyena staring at the older female in her usual intense manner without saying a word and, with equal silence, nodded and fell behind as the deputy concured that it was time to go.

'When I find mama...I'll finally get to know...' she thought for herself as they trudged down the slopes, the sun rising behind them and creating the illusion that dawn was following in the odd pair's wake, 'But until then...' Skye added, casting a brief glance at the deputy, 'I'd really like to know about Snow-nee-chan...' she turned her gaze back, though. It wouldn't just do to go and ask about what she wanted to know...mere words couldn't convey the sentiments that would surely be involved. Observation...only through observation could she obtain understanding. Somehow the Mightyena had held this lesson in mind for a long time, even though it certainly hadn't been her foster-mother who had taught it. A gift from mama...she would patiently explain if someone asked, and even then, most members of the pack knew better than to try to make sense of the pup when she was in one of those moods, so no further details had been required.

'Observation...' she repeated in her mind, dutifully proceeding to observe the Mightyena in front of her as they walked, to stare at something until you saw through the skin, through the flesh, through the bone and straight into the marrow, the true essence of the being. But...how far was one supposed to look? How far was enough?

The two had just begun entering the forest when Snow felt a sharp jolt go through her body. Her neck fur rised in discomfort as she slowly turned her head to see Skye staring intensly at her. Snowfang turned her head back forward and blinked. "Something wrong?" She asked, trying to keep her voice at usually mono-tone voice. "Don't worry we are almost there...if that's the problem." Her fur lay flat as her mind began to wander. 'Skye....I wonder why he was staring at me like that..' She slowed her pace so Skye was able to run side by side. 'Ehh...it would be better if we really did know SOMETHING about the other...sure being deputy I would have to know the physical characteristics...like when pairing an apprentice with a mentor, but...other than thatI know nothing.' Snow let out a sigh inside her, her tail twitching slightly. 'God what kind of deputy am I...Boulder just picked me because he liked me anyways...' "Dumb brute.." She muttered lowly to herself, not realising she had said it outloud.

Sure, Snow had thought, ever since she was deputy, that there were MANY better Wolf than her that could have been chosen.
