.:: Introduction ::.
Pokemon Seeds of Evolution (Pokemon SE) is about new evolutions. So the most important thing will be the new (pre-)evolutions of existing pokemon and the addition of some completely new races.



.:: Story ::.
The story of Pokemon SE will be not much different from the original story. The main cause are the pokemon itself. Most of the maps will be slightly changed and some townspeak, but not much.

The sprites are:
- Botelia (evo of Roselia)
- Redda (pre-evo of Ekans)
- Tentacute (pre-evo of Tentacool)

Dude, the botelia and Tentacute looks horrible. Making a bald Roselia and a one-tentacle Tentacool isn´t the way to make good fakemons

I wouldn't consider this a flawless remake of emerald. You should come up with your own unique name, and just say that this is your hack. There is no need for new pokemon.Just like pokemon crystal and yellow before emerald, they had the same pokemon, just with a slightly different storyline, and many new features. Emerald already IS flawless. It's your opinion that it's flawed because it didn't have everything you wanted it to have. You should just create your own unique story and do whatever you want with it. Saying it's a new version of emerald doesn't fit.

My goal is just to add some new things to the game, not to perfectionize (is that a word?) it.
I just chose this name, because it sounded well, but it's a working title for now..

I think it's a good try, but these sprites do not resemble real pokemon.
I see you used the idea of dark vs bright colors, but I think there is something missing.. I think it's detail.

If you have better examples, I would like to see them.

Here are some of mine. They are: Dohydra(evo of Dodrio), Antarticuno(pre of Articuno), Flametres(Pre of Moltres), Mimic(Evo of Ditto), and Sparkdos(Pre of Zapdos).

Well, as long as you don't say it's a version of emerald, I'm fine with it, and those sprites do look pretty bad...(not perfectionize, the word is perfect) Well, why don't we think of a title then? I could make sprites for you... Tell me what you want me to make I guess, I'm not that into making fake pokemon.

I think you should change the name of this hack because
alot of people dont that there is anything wrong with pokemon emerald
and also the sprites for the new pokemon dont look to good.

I think of naming it after another mineral. Because it's in the line of Ruby, Saphire, Emerald.
I thought of Topaz or Amethyst. But I think Amethyst is too difficult for most people on this forum, ... so Topaz?

edit: Hmm, topaz is already a game.. Thinking of new names..

best candidates:
Amethyst (purple), because of the combination Ruby (red) and Saphire (blue)
Peridot (pale green), because of the resamblance of Emerald (bright green)
Citrine (yellow), because that color doesn't exist in this line of games
Tourmaline (pink), same reason as Citrine.

Maybe try to edit an existing pokemon sprite? Use those colors and shades..

Hi,
I need one or more people that can make sprites for this mod/hack.
I have a lot of ideas and can draw a bit, but it's not that perfect as I want it to be..

You can give me an example by re-doing on of these sprites:
It's Caindour, a condor-like pokemon. (It's sprite is based on the neopet Lenny in it's mutant form, for the people who know that..)
And the second one is Seanomona, the evolution of Corsola. It had to have some resamblance to corsola, but has to look different too. (It's sprite is based on a neopet as well)

So if you want te help me, show me your version of Seanomona or Caindour.
